Hello, friends! Sorry to get your hopes up; this is NOT an update to the story. I desperately wish AO3 had some kind of forum posting type thing so I could keep everyone updated as I know not everyone follows my twitter/x (@probablylesbean btw).
I know it’s been a bit since I’ve updated the series. My hyperfixation wore off and I’ve taken a hiatus from writing for a bit. Life is also very busy! I’m an adult with a full time job and a long-term relationship, I just don’t have as much time to commit to writing as I would like!
HOWEVER! The series is not over! It’s not abandoned or discontinued, it is very much alive! And it’s changing!
If you follow me on Twitter, you may have seen the announcement I made a bit ago but if not, allow me to announce to you The Owl’s Stray: REMASTERED! What does that mean?
it’s come to my attention that the current format is a bit hard to read and keep track of. I never intended to continue from Look At Me so it remained a single chapter fic. But now that this has become a full blown AU with its own timelines and lore, I think it’s time to step back and collect some things.
The Owl’s Stray is going to be removed from AO3 and reuploaded as a single, multi-chapter fic! Not only that but each story/chapter is getting revamped and new stories will be added in between! The series won’t start with Look At Me anymore; we’re going back to the beginning, baby.
now don’t worry, I know people like rereading the story so I won’t be taking the series down any time soon! I won’t be doing that until I’m read to upload the Owl’s Stray as a fic, including new scenes and remastered ones, which is gonna take a while! I’ve recently started writing again and I’m excited to say I’ve made a lot of progress!
I am SO excited to share all of this with you! To long time fans of the series, thank you so much for your support and to newcomers: welcome! I hope you like my fucked up little fics.
