The Proposal
At the afternoon, the sun began set down, preparing for the night. Connor waits impatiently at the park, then suddenly.
Frank grabbed his arm and said "come on something's waiting for you" Frank dashed with Connor "hey what the hell Frank!?" He said.
They arrived at someone's backyard..? Connor assumes its Toffoli's backyard.
All the sharks players are waiting and finished the decoration. Cat helped them to decorate.
Will looked behind and saw Connor, he was mesmerized by Connor's beautiful sunset lighting. He smiled and faced him while holding a piece of flower.
"Dude you're terrible at singing dont embarass me" Will whispered to Mack, he scoffs and cleared his throat. Will grits his teeth but he kept on smiling.
Mack began to sing a romantic song while Will walks closer to Connor.
On the other hand, Connor felt nervous. Because what is this all about? A date? Something special?
Mack stopped singing, and Will grabbed Connor's left hand. He took a breath to calm himself.
"Connor, ever since i met you, you sparked something in my heart. You made me feel these romantic hearts and butterflies in stomach. You're the one i love the most, you're the one i want to step up in another life." Will made eye contact with Connor and Connor is just, looking at him.
"Connor i want us to step into new level of relationship" Will's teammates began whistling, Frank is just there, pulling out thumbs up to Connor and smiling like a kid.
Will kneels into the ground and pulls out a box and opened it infront of Connor. Will's teammates, especially Sam and Misa, are making noise.
Connor's face went from confusion to shock. He cant believe that his boyfriend is proposing to him.
"Connor Thomas Bedard, will you marry me?" Will grins, hopefully he would say yes.
Will's teammates began to chant say yes and Frank is just there with tears in his eyes, he can't believe that his best friend is going to get married, so is Macklin.
Cat and Tyler are just there watching with tears also, they cant believe that the kid is getting married, he's all grown up.
Connor's eyes began to water and tears forming in his eyes. He blinked and the tear ran down to his cheeks.
"Yes" he said.
Will's teammates began to cheer loudly, Frank and Macklin hugged each other as if they know each other deeply.
Will stood up and puts on the ring into Connor's hand, and he hugged him very tightly. Connor can hear him breathe and murmuring "thank you thank you i love you so much i will never leave you."
Will pulls away and cups Connor's cheeks, the backyard is now filled with Oooo's and Kiss Kiss Kiss.
Will glanced at his teammates and chuckled before looking back at Connor. He kissed him and Connor kissed back.
They began to cheer more loud.
Will pulls away and he smiled like he won the jackpot.
"I swear in my life i will never never leave you and i will love you with all my heart."
But then that one game led to problems.

The Incident
During the Sharks game, it was Will's time on the ice. Connor is in the bleachers cheering for both teams, Bruins is for his Best Friend Fraser, and the Sharks is for his Fiancé Will. When Will was slammed into the boards, Pavel accidentally hit Will's back and Will was laid down.
The crowd went loud, and Will got on his knees and clenching in his jersey very tightly, Collin and Mack were the only ones noticed that Will is suffering to catch breath. He's having a Asthma Attack. Mack and Collin quickly skated to Will along with the medical team. The crowd got louder, and Connor stood up to see what's happening. He couldnt believe his eyes and quickly ran between rows to get to the window closer to Will.
Adam quickly launched into Pavel and started punching him with gloves on. On the other hand, Connor is slamming his palm against the window "do something about him! Save him!" He shouts through the window.
The medical team called for the stretcher and manual Nebulizer and they kept sweeping their hands at Will's back. Later the stretcher and the manual Nebulizer arrived, they gently put Will into the stretcher while pumping the nebulizer.
"The asthma is too fatal we need to transfer him to hospital" one of the medical staff said.
Connor quickly rushed to the exit of the game and asked one of the staffs 'where is the medical room'.
"Sorry Connor but i heard that they're transferring Will to the nearest hospital" the staff replied "where?" Connor asked.
"Down near hotel building" the staff replied "thank you so much" Connor quickly rushed outside of the arena and ran to his car.
He quickly drove to the hospital and entered in, he asked one of the nurses Will's room. They showed the way, and Connor thanked them for it.
He sat down infront of his room, and waited patiently for the doctor to come out.
"Oh uh sir Bedard..?" The doctor came out, and that made Connor stood up like a soldier "how is he? Is he okay? Is he fine?" Connor's anxiety went to the max.
"Good news, he survived the fatality rate of asthma attack. But bad news, he cant be ejected from hospital yet. He needs to rest in the hospital for atleast 1 month" the doctor smiled at Connor.
"Oh thank God" Connor sighed in relief.
"You can visit him sir, just call one of the nurses if something happens" the doctor walked away, giving Connor the space to visit Will.
There he was, body laid down in hospital bed, eyes closed, oxygen mask on his face. Shirtless. They're gonna change his clothes soon.
Connor entered inside and hugged Will, he can hear him breathe again. He can. Just like he hugged him when Will proposed to him.
"I thank the Lord and the doctor for saving you my William" Connor murmured.
Will slowly opened his eyes and he saw Connor hugging him and sobbing.
He slowly pats Connor's back, Connor pulls away and saw Will is awake. He smiled and Will brushed away the tears in Connor's face.

Recovery
He is doing well now but he cant get out of hospital yet.
Connor is sitting down in the chair next to the hospital bed, and then suddenly.
The door opened and revealed it's Will's sister and parents.
"Oh honey i thank the Lord Jesus for saving you" his mom rushed to Will and hugged him.
"Yea i thank him too mom" Will smiled, and his mom kissed his forehead.
"Oh hey fancy seeing you here" Grace looked at Connor and smiled.
"Oh yeah by the way" Will interrupted Grace, "Mom, Dad" Will began to fidget his hospital clothing just to hide his nervous.
"That's Connor. I proposed to him last week, and i was thinking visiting Boston. Because i want to have the wedding there" Will gulped.
His parents are just staring at Will and then looming at each other before looking back at their son.
"Oh you know honey, we accepted you. But wedding at the church? Big no, you should have the wedding at event place. Only friends and family members are allowed. I'll contact our local priest if the Wedding day is near." His mom grins, and Will smiled, he's so thankful to have a family like them.
Grace looked back again at Connor "where are your parents?" She asked "at Vancouver, they live with my sister" Connor replied.
"Oh i didnt know you had a sister" Grace chuckles and Connor just shrugged "she's the one i told that me and Will are engaged, she's not telling our parents until i introduce Will to them. She's the one i introduced to Will yet."
"Good luck on you and William, surprisingly you're gonna change your last
name to Smith, Connor Smith, and you're gonna be my brother in law" Grace brushed Will's hand while saying that.

Wedding Day
The aisle in the event place Will rented was full of white, with teammates and their girlfriends and wives as their guests. Sadly Connor havent introduced Will to his parents, so only Madi came to the wedding.
Gabe, Will's best man, taps his shoulder and whispered "you've got this Will" he smiled.
"Here it comes!" Spencer shouted. They all focused on Connor, in his best suit and absolute makeover, slowly walking towards Will.
Instead of Connor's dad, Tom, escorting him towards Will. Bill, Will's dad, escorted Connor.
He soon finally arrived infront of Will, and then they sat down for the priest's sermon for their wedding.
After the sermon, they both stood up for the wedding vows.
Will goes first, he pulls out a letter from his pocket and began to read it infront of Connor.
"My dear Connor, over the past years we've overcome the challenges and problems in life. With you, we were invincible during the challenges. In the times you were alone and sad, i was there for you. And now i stand infront of you, ready to become your one and only husband. I promise that i will forever cherish you, take care of you. Im ready to face the reality with you."
Connor shed a tear while Will was reading his vows, some of their teammates cried, but Mack sobbed because he's too proud for his best friend.
Will hid the paper inside his pocket, and Connor began to pull his vow from his pocket.
He reads the vow infront of Will.
"To my beloved William, thank you. These past years, where we fought, had problems for each other, they're all in the past trash. Thank you for being the best friend, the best boyfriend, and the best buddy to me, now we've reached in this day. I vow to be your protector, your therapist, your angel guardian, and last but not the least, i vow to be your beloved husband. Im ready to face challenges in life with you."
Frank wiped his own tears and his girlfriend, Alexis, pats his back "you're such a good best friend to Connor" she whispered.
Connor hid his paper in his pocket, and the priest cleared his throat and looked at Will.
"William Charles Patrick Smith, do you vow to cherish him, take care of him, protect him and love him unconditionally until the day you die?" The priest said, while facing Will.
"I do Father" Will grabbed both Connor's hand, the priest nodded and he turns to Connor.
"Connor Thomas Bedard, do you vow to cherish him, take care of him, protect him, and love him unconditionally until the day you die?" The priest said.
"I do Father" Connor replied, and faced Will.
"And now by the holy power vesseled in me, i now pronounce you. Husband and Husband. You may now kiss the groom" the priest smiled.
Will kissed Connor while holding both of his hands, and their teammates and their partners and Will's family members began to throw petals to them, and they began to cheer for them.
They're now Mr. & Mr. Smith.
