Chapter Text

Chapter 03-

The sun goddess, dressed in a white robe that looked like light itself, walked with silent steps through the marble corridor of her kingdom. The son of the God of Death, the reincarnated angel, was in his arms, fragile and small. The baby's black wings were shaking, and his reddish eyes were closed while he was unconscious. The scars are a horrible sight of the baby angel's body.

"I thought about how long it would take you to bring your child into your domain," said the Sun Goddess, her voice echoing through the walls. "you brought him back here the day after his reincarnation. It seems that his paternal instincts are appearing God of Death."

The god of death coughed, a weak cough that caused the sun goddess to arch an eyebrow and place the baby against her breast. "He is strong," murmured the god. "Your power is immense, but your body is not up to par." One that he could die was heard, though not spoken out loud.

The sun goddess nodded. She knew that the baby had the potential to be more powerful than any other divine being. But he also knew that if he left him in Roan now, the angel's fragile body would not hold out for long.

"He needs healing," said the Sun Goddess. "We need to strengthen it."

The God of death looks at the Sun Goddess with animate and somewhat relieved eyes. "Can you do that?"

The sun goddess smiled, a bright and empty smile. "I can cure him. But I can only resolve the question of divine power. As for the magical power, I can't do much. I can give a blessing that speeds up the adaptation process, but it's the most I can do."

It opened on an altar, where a white flame burned. He carefully placed the baby in the center of the circle of fire. The flame threw the angel, and the sun goddess began to sing ancient words to heal the baby.

The baby trembled, his wings stretching. The fever that afflicts him is gone, and his pain has subsided. His plaque was strengthened with the blessing of the Sun Goddess.

"He will survive," said the sun goddess. "And when it grows up, it will be a force to be reckoned with."

The god of death knew he had made the right choice by seeing the sun god's smile and seeing his son relax a little.

"Ah, can you heal his scars?"

"Uh? I'll do my best. By the way, how is your wife? Does she still blame you for what happened?"

The god of death scratched his sweaty, embarrassed cheek.

"She threatened to tear down my temples with an earthquake if I did not guarantee that our King would have a happy life."

"Ehhh, nature can be scary sometimes, I hope Rokso didn't inherit her personality."

"I actually have a feeling that he would do more than destroy my temples..." The god of death felt a shiver in his spine. The wind is strong today...

Rokso felt dizzy when he woke up, he felt the soft and comfortable sheets covering him as he lay in his crib.

He could have considered it all a dream, but he recognized the location.

He thought about looking around, but he was too lazy, so instead he stared at the ceiling being lazy.

He heard the sound of someone knocking on the door and turned to look in the direction of the sound.

It's the same old creepy as before.

Rokso was confused as to why he knocked on the door when there were only two babies who couldn't talk yet in the room.

But soon Rokso realized that he did this to announce his presence and not scare Rokso again if he is awake.

Rokso was embarrassed (and mortified) when he remembered crying because of the scare. Damn this baby body with no emotional control!

“Young master Ambrose? oh you are awake. This Ron is happy to see you better. You had a really high fever” Ron spoke to himself without waiting for Ambrose to respond for obvious reasons. wait…what? Ron…? Like Ron Molan in The Birth of Hero….? The murder butler who has a son who is a torturer..?!??!

Rokso froze and shivered in fear upon seeing this cruel old man's benign smile.

“R-Bony…” Rokso unconsciously says his name out loud, but it is mispronounced by the baby’s babbling.

Ron freezes and his smile freezes. Did the young master older puppy  just speak his first word? and was his name?

Rokso didn't know what to think, he was in The Birth Of Hero, he was a baby, he was part of the Henituse family since Ron called him young master, Rokso has red hair in this life, he would have thought he had become Cale if he didn't have an equally red-haired baby sleeping next to him.

The novel never mentioned that Cale had a twin brother or that Count Deruth had more than one child with his first wife.

If the baby sleeping next to him in the crib was Cale, who exactly was he? Ron called him Ambrose, but there was no Ambrose Henituse.

Rokso frowned, confused. In his original body he could scare someone when he frowns, but in his current baby body, chubby and soft, he looked adorable grumpy.

Without his knowledge, Rokso caused a huge misunderstanding and eternal jealousy in Deruth.

Seeing the baby in a bad mood, Ron thought Ambrose was like that because he froze when he called Ron's name. Which warmed this scary old man's heart.

After that day, Deruth knew the true meaning of being jealous when his only omega son prefers the cruel butler over him...
