Summary
(AU) Tyrion does not kill Tywin Lannister before fleeing King's Landing and the Freys do not kill Catelyn Stark at the Red Wedding. Instead, Catelyn is sent to King's Landing where Tywin comes up with a plan to bring back the North that will not please Catelyn. However, she is stronger than she looks, but things don't always go according to plan and strange things happen. The best revenge is to survive, but what happens when it stops feeling like revenge and more like living?

It almost looked as if Tywin wasn’t going to answer her at first, the way his eyes latched onto the wall before him again. Catelyn wasn’t about to repeat her question, knowing full well that he’d heard her, but she couldn’t understand why he wasn’t answering her either. Both of them knew that she was right, about the fumes and leaving the door opened while he painted the bedroom for their soon-to-be born son.
But then, in a voice almost too quiet to hear, she heard the words: “The paint’s supposed to go where?”

A few months after their return to London from Port Townsend, the Cat King shows back up in Edwin’s life. He’s bent on courting Edwin, and has somehow acquired a magical collar that allows them to properly feel each other. Edwin meets him in secret, unsure of whether he’s ready to tell Charles about the relationship.
In the meantime, business at the Dead Boy Detective Agency continues. They receive a case where a woman is trapped between life and death, tethered between the mortal realm and the beyond by a cursed sorcerer.
But there may be more going on than meets the eye, and an Endless pulling strings from the shadows…

Summary
The Cat King just so happens to be near the Dead Boy Detectives office definitely not on purpose at all in the slightest, and decides to pay a sleeping Edwin a visit.
Curling up for snuggles in cat form isn't too bad, especially when he and Edwin are already together. Though when Edwin wakes up he can't help playing a bit of a harmless prank on him.
So what will Edwin think and do when he wakes and realises a possibly random cat is snuggled up to him, non-stop purring...

The Cat King can hardly believe his luck. Somehow, he has ended up in a budding relationship with the ghost of his affection and utter devotion, Edwin.
He knows all too well that everything and anything they do will be Edwin's first (well almost anything) and he absolutely refuses to mess this up or scare Edwin away by being too forward, even by accident. He also knows he wants to express how safe and comfortable he feels with Edwin, and how much he loves him, so he does the only thing he can think to do. It's time to bring out the cat behaviours.
If only Edwin actually knew what those three slow blinks meant...

"You are ridiculous," Edwin almost shouted. "You cannot walk around in those, outdated, outfit!"
Everyone stared at Edwin. Charles and Crystal perched at the desk, as Edwin faced an unexpected visitor in the middle of their office in London.
"Outdated? Who's been wearing an outdated school uniform for decades? Not that I don't like it." The Cat King replied.
He stood tall before Edwin, too proudly, in an outfit that made Edwin freeze in disbelief.
"I have no problem with that. No one can see me except ghosts, or, some psychics." Edwin said.
"Then why are you making such a fuss? They'll only see me, and I'm perfectly fine being watched."
The Cat King made an elegant gesture with his arms to show himself. He was wearing a black frock coat with extravagant pattern and a top hat, a cane in his hand. A soft, deep red cravat adorned his neck, a gold chain hunging from pocket of waistcoat glistened as well as his rings on his fingers.
