About Me
I'm a navy vet and a longtime member of online fandom. For better and worse I've seen an awful lot of crazy things in fandom from the last 20+ years.
My idea of 'military realism' is also rooted in experience on a deployment, humanitarian operations, and general life on a ship with sailors and marines. There's some grit and an awful lot of suck, but while 95% of media and some 'realistic' fics would like to tell you it's only grim and grittiness, for the handful of stories I have where shit hit the fan, I have hundreds I can tell about utterly stupid things that happened instead.
My idea of 'military realism' isn't everything being 100% serious and of perfect indoctrination; it's of phantom shitters, finding people asleep with their eyes open who were hiding from work and having cooks in hot dog costumes show up to important people trying to trick or treat. There was also the time a camel tried to eat my scarf. I fought it off and barely won.

I love reviews, including polite concrit, especially if they include thoughts on the chapter! I try to reply to reviews, especially right after updating! Telling me it's shit without elaboration will just get it deleted. It ain't 2005 anymore, folks.
