INTRODUCTION:
Hello: My name is KnightQueen. I've been a user on AO3 since 2012 (at best), but my primary post remains FanFiction.Net.When I started using this website, it was as a repository. I wasn't terribly invested in the (inflated) drama that created this hobby website and its general lack of moderation. But, I heard good things about it from my moots. But good things can be misleading. A website with no anti-racist foundations will be racist!
ABOUT MY WRITING:
I dabble in multiple genres and don't stick to one "fandom". When I'm into it, the stories reflect it. Inspiration for a "fandom" comes and goes, and whether I finish a story, or not, also reflects that. I never intend to leave stories incomplete, but Real Life Writes the Plot, and it's not a moral failing if I don't. I do apologize if you wanted to see a conclusion, though. I sympathize, truly.AO3's bedrock, more than other sites, is romanticized and fetishized incest, Minor/Adult romances, Rape, or Sexual Assault (typically hidden behind softer words like "non-con" and "dub-con"). I'll tell you right now that's not my wheelhouse.
Darker or angister subjects concerning abuse appear in my works, yes, but I typically never go beyond mood pieces or codas these days. I'm not great at poetry, but I try. Writing isn't a hobby, but my engagement in fanfiction is.
