Nolan Bat/Cat shipper
I am a massive fan of Nolan's Batman trilogy, but I also have a deep connection to Batman in all his incarnations. I grew up with the comics and love watching the old campy TV series with Adam West and Burt Ward. I loved Jack as the Joker in the 1989 Batman- Keaton was all right in my book, too! I will be honest and tell you that I was not a fan of Batman Returns, but it was bearable. Watching some of the other movies is like getting dental work performed... meaning I can get through them, but it's painful and requires the use of drugs...
It is always fun to hear the different takes people have on the story. If you want to beta-read the chapters I have in the works, that's awesome, too. I have benefited many times from the knowledge base of the Batfans out there. They keep me on the right path and correct me when I get off track.
I am in the middle of reposting (editing) a three-part story now and am coming down the home stretch... I hope to keep Batman and related characters accurate to Nolan's adaptation while still giving Bruce what we all wanted for him- a future while keeping him in the cowl a while longer (selfish, I know - but hey, it's my world when I'm writing) There is currently a fantastic person that is editing over my stories and cleaning up all my mistakes. As they work, I will upload the revisions chapter by chapter.
Thanks for taking the time to read my profile- I'm not sure why anyone would care to... but ...I'm sure you have your reasons. (Maybe you are just trying to understand why I am so jacked up... If you figure it out, enlighten me.)
