JJK97 is live right now!

Jungkook smiled as soon as he saw himself on the screen, the chat automatically filling with thousands of comments.

“Hi! JK here! If you did not see the announcement on Twitter a couple of days ago, this isn’t your typical gameplay. Instead, and as a way to celebrate the competition I won last Friday, I decided to have a Q&A! It’s been a while since the last one, right? At least a year and a half.”

The people seemed to agree, some of them even giving him the exact time. Jungkook chuckled. Sometimes his followers knew more about his channel than he did.

“So, yeah. You can ask away! I can’t promise people that I will catch their names but I’ll try to read the questions before they disappear.”

Jungkook did his best to actually read the questions, but a lot of people were commenting at the same time. It was difficult, but still doable.

“Seagull... Something asks if I enjoyed the competition. I did! It was not only a competition, but it was also one of the gamecons this year. I actually have another one in a couple of weeks, but this time there won’t be a competition. I will be participating in testing some of the games, though! I already know I will be playing with one of my hyungs– I won’t say which one. It will be a surprise.”

He tried again.

“Ian… Yeah. Ian asks if the next video will be about overwatch. It might be! I actually haven’t decided that yet. I have some vlogs from the convention that I might upload first, but depending on my schedule I might upload an overwatch video.”

And again.

“... We have talked about this before, guys. I will not sell the water where I bath. It was a joke I made two years ago.”

And again.

“My favorite game? It hasn’t changed since last time, I think. But I recently have found myself playing a lot of…”

“... so those are the parts I have added to my pc since the last time…

“For the last time, I will not sell the water! Let me just– Ok, I blocked the troll.”

“Uh… sing? I haven’t noticed I do it that often. Maybe someday I’ll try singing more for you guys, but I can’t promise anything. I’m not exactly a singer.”

Until…

“WinterBear95 asks if I have someone right now…” Jungkook’s eyes started shining. “Oh! Yeah, you guys don’t know. I actually do have a boyfriend! Want to know more about him?”

The general response seemed to be positive, only a couple of people saying no or throwing some harsh words against him (he made sure to block them immediately).

“Ok. I have talked to him before about this– You know, me talking about him on my channel, and he doesn’t really care about what I say since he’s pretty famous by himself and has no sense of privacy. His name is Taehyung and, guys, he’s literally the prettiest man I have ever seen in my life. Really. He’s literally ethereal. I have no idea how I got someone so beautiful to even pay attention to me.” He read the comments. “No, he’s not a model, even though he should be. He doesn’t really work, doesn’t need to. But I think he did before? Like, way before. I should ask him… I’m actually at his place right now, let’s go.”

Jungkook carefully took the camera, switching the camera so the people could see where he was going instead of his face. He still read the comments as he walked.

“Oh, yeah. His place is beautiful. I think it used to be a castle? I mean, it still is, but there was an actual royal family living here before my boyfriend moved. But that was, like, hundreds of years ago. My boyfriend’s soulmate, Jimin, actually owns the castle, but they didn’t really live here until around 25 years ago. Since the place is huge —I got lost so many times in the beginning— Jiminie told me I should just move all my stuff to one of the rooms. It’s way cheaper to live here anyway since the place is literally self-sufficient, and Jimin and Tae have way too much money to even have me paying rent. Am I rambling too much?” Jungkook walked inside one of the rooms. “Oh, wait, I found him. Tae!”

Jungkook adjusted the camera so it would focus on his boyfriend. Taehyung was looking at him, smiling at him as if he was already waiting for him (he probably was. He had told Jungkook that he could always hear everything he said from his gaming room).

“The family was actually here until the pact to integrate our society existed. Jimin decided to send some of his subordinates to clean up the castle and use it as some sort of base for us and found the royal family. And we didn’t come back until 1995, like two years before you were born. What else?” Taehyung put a finger on his chin, making a face like he was deeply thinking. “Oh! Our jobs. Well, we technically have a job. We kind of are responsible for all the vampires in this continent. That’s why I sometimes have to attend meetings with other creatures and, like, the president. But Jiminie usually handles that. And we could get paid, but our salary just goes to vampire shelters and stuff.”

Jungkook giggled behind the camera, before going to where Taehyung is sitting and falling on his lap. He kissed him, before focusing the camera on them.

“Guys, this is Taehyung. Say hi, babe.”

“Hi! I’m Tae, and I’m a good boy.”

Jungkook snorted. “Sure.”

“Shhh. Oh, they’re asking how long we’ve been together. It’s been… 10 months?”

“Yup.  We got together on April 5th.”

“And… what else?” Taehyung looked at the phone for a second. “Someone named DVaHusband420 is asking how we ended up living together. Well, that’s–”

“How can you read that fast? Most of the time I can barely read the questions itself.”

Taehyung giggled, kissing Jungkook’s cheek. “I’m literally a vampire, bun. If I focus, the comments move way slower for me.”

Jungkook pouted, which only made Taehyung giggle even more. “That’s not fair.”

“Why are you so cute? I wanna eat you whole for dinner.”

“I mean, you can, but you gotta–” Jungkook blinked, suddenly remembering he still was streaming on his phone. “Anyways. The question. As you all know, I used to live in Itaewon before, but my landlord was a dick. One day I was complaining to Tae about him, not even a month after we met and started dating, and he said ‘well, why don’t you move in with me? My place is, like, pretty big.’ Mind you, I had never been here before, and I knew Tae lived with Jimin, so I asked how that worked. He then showed me the castle and told me that I didn’t even need to sleep with him if I didn’t want to since there were a lot of rooms.” Jungkook looked at Taehyung, his eyes full of stars. “It was nice of you offering a different room, even though I just used it for my stuff.”

Taehyung shrugged. “I wanted you to be comfortable, bun. That’s why I asked you to move with us instead of having to tolerate that man, or having your neighbors mad at you because you were shouting at 2 am in the morning.”

“I know, but still. I think I fell in love with you that day. Like, I literally thought ‘damn, I am in love with this man’ after seeing how sweet you were.”

Taehyung hugged him, resting his chin on Jungkook’s shoulder. “I think I've loved you since I met you, bun. I’ve been alive for, what, over two thousand years? And it was only when I saw your eyes that my dead heart started beating again.”

Jungkook caressed Taehyung’s cheek. “You’re a sap, Kim Taehyung.”

“You made me one.”

“I love you.”

“I love you too.”

They were just looking at each other, not even talking anymore. They were too lost on the other’s eyes, putting their foreheads together and closing their eyes.

They were only brought to reality after Jimin cleared his throat behind them. Jungkook jumped out of surprise, but Taehyung did not even open his eyes.

“If you’re going to start making out, at least end the streaming, Jungkookie. Unless you want those… humans to see you too.”

“Oh, shh, Jiminie. We weren’t doing anything bad.”

“Sure, sure. And I was born this century.”

Jungkook’s face was completely red out of embarrassment. He pressed his lips on a thin line, looking back at his phone. He didn’t even want to read the comments.

“So, yeah. I think that’s it for today. The next video will be posted between Tuesday and Friday. I’ll see all of you later.” He rapidly ended the streaming, before groaning and hiding his face on Taehyung’s shoulder. “That was so embarrassing.”

Taehyung laughed then, patting Jungkook’s back. “It could have been worse. A couple of decades ago Jimin and I were smuggling alcohol in the States –There was a law that prohibited it so we got in contact with some clubs and we traded the alcohol for blood bags. There was this man, I forgot his name, who would help vampires in exchange. Back then there weren’t blood banks, not like today at least. So, we were forced to make deals. And people there didn’t really like us —like, they liked neither Asians nor vampires— so our options were limited. And money could only get you so far before some group tried to kill your kind. The point is, one day we were smuggling alcohol and the blood they gave us was, well, full of alcohol.”

Jimin was already cackling. “Even though alcohol by itself can’t do anything to us, blood with high levels of alcohol can, in fact, get us drunk.” He wiggled his eyebrows. “You would think that after two millennials Tae would be better at holding his alcohol, and yet, he got so drunk he took a musician’s saxophone and started ‘playing.’ It was so fucking bad the owner begged us to go away.”

Taehyung grimaced. “I didn’t go back to the States until, like, the 50s.”

Jungkook has a smile on his face. “I would have loved to see that.”

Jimin walked to where he was, patting his head like if he were a dog. “Don’t worry, I’m sure you’ll have more than enough time to see Tae embarrassing himself. Now, I’m gonna go and visit some of the vampire shelters. Please don’t do anything on here, just go to your fucking rooms. Or some other room, I don’t care.”

Taehyung winked at him. “Can’t promise anything, Min.”

Jimin rolled his eyes, already leaving the room. “I fucking hate you so much. Do whatever, I don’t care. Bye, Jungkookie.”

Jungkook only had time to murmur a quick bye before Taehyung decided to close the space between them and kiss him. Jungkook smiled.

Oh, how he loved his boyfriend.
