Chapter Text
Sougo was a king. (Or, he was going to be, someday.)
They liked that idea, knowing they were a king ever since they were a kid. He always told people about it.
It took Sougo a while to realize that they didn't fully identify as a guy. He knew that identifying as a king wasn't typical, but he didn't question why he wasn't comfortably just being called a boy until he was 18. He definitely knew he didn't identify as a girl. And wasn't completely a boy.
Sougo was a little bit pretentious about being a king, but he was more comfortable identifying himself as a king than as a boy or a girl (though other people found that silly). He wasn't 100% a boy, but he was definitely comfortable with someday being a king. He knew that for sure.
He was going to be a king someday. Then he would be able to confidently tell people, and it wouldn't be brushed off as a joke, and everyone would accept him.
Because he would be the king.
