In the hidden land behind the clouds called heaven, there is an angel with blonde hair and droopy eyes playing happily with the other angels everyday.

One time the god had called the said angel and said, "I was planning to purge one of my creations because of their bad deeds. I would like you to help me decide which one should be chosen."

The angel, receiving such a grand request from the god himself, happily agreed and was sent immediately to earth where most of his creations reside.

On the first day, the angel was really amazed at everything he saw. From moving vehicles, vending machines, and even the colorful clothes the humans wear. His eyes kept on sparkling even if he was about to get hit by the cars passing by green light. Thankfully, he was saved by a muscular guy wearing a brown set up outfit. The stranger gave the angel a gentle smile before walking to an izakaya for his part time job.

On the second day, he went outside once again and noticed a small flock of crows occupying the trash section near a park. He went near the crows and said, "Hello, Mr birds. You all look unique! This is the first time I saw a bird with a black color! May I ask for your names?"

The crows, who didn't even understand what the angel said, acted on their instincts instead. They started to attack the said angel, whom they treated as a danger.

"Ow ow ow, wait! I didn't mean to-ow"

The angel tried his best to talk his way out but the crows kept on attacking. Luckily, he was saved by a loud "Kuak" coming from another bird. The said bird-a newly arrived Crow- Started to "Kuak" again and flap its wings to threaten the others. The crows that were attacking the angel gave up and flew away at the scene.

The angel heaved a sigh of relief after he didn't see the flock of crows that attacked him anymore. He faced the lone crow who is now standing on the heap of trash. "Thank you Mr. Black bird for saving me!" The angel stretched out his hand for a handshake saying, "Let's be friends!"

The crow with its black sharp eyes looked at the angel with a bright smile in front. It didn't respond but its head kinda bowed down ("I didn't know crows can be shy too" some people might have said if they had seen it). It flew away from the scene after that. The angel's wound was treated afterwards with the help of a silver haired guy who happened to pass by the park on his way to a dance studio.

Weeks after that, the angel occasionally meets with the crow. Sometimes, he saw the bird hanging alone on a big tree but most of the time it appeared whenever the angel was attacked again by other crows. The angel had learned soon that the names of the black birds are called crows, when he tried learning more about them in the library with the assistance from a student with jet black hair holding fashion related books.

The angel and the crow met several more times again, with the angel kept on doing his best to befriend the lone crow by giving it anything he thought the crow might like. On a fine summer day, his efforts had borne fruit when the lone crow got closer to the angel's outstretched hand, rubbing its head on him. The angel showed his blinding smile again, enjoying the blissful moment with the bird.

"I found out from a rich but funny guy I met last week that friends should share names to show their trust to one another. I was sent by god on a mission here but he didn't give me a name since we don't need one in heaven." The angel said as he started to stare at the blue sky above for a few seconds. "Mr. Crow, since you came flying in the sky when you saved me back then, can I call you Mr. Sky instead?"

The crow stopped rubbing it's head from his hands a bit to contemplate what the angel said. Then the crow moved its head up and down and replied with a "Kuak".

"I'm glad you liked the name that I have given to you!" The angel replied to the crow, followed by a long sigh. "Now I'm the only one left without a name..."

Upon hearing the angel's sentiment, the crow flew towards the trash bin where most of the burnable trash is now in place. The angel followed the bird, and realised that it was pecking on a writing from an old, torn magazine. "Shose- Shosei? You are giving me the name Shosei, Mr. Sky?" The crow replied with a "kuak", pointing its beak from the magazine to him.

Overwhelmed with the happiness he felt for having a name given by a friend, the angel started crying happy tears. The crow, seeing the angel cry for the first time, started to panic by flying in circles and making noises.
The angel's tear was wiped away when a blonde haired guy with an idol aura offered his handkerchief after seeing him cry near a distressed crow.

The two unlikely friends, the angel named Shosei plus a crow named Sky, shared fun and exciting moments everyday. The crow acted as his bodyguard, saving him from other crows and possible bad people. Meanwhile, the angel is also protecting the crow from other people's prejudice and providing food for both of them. Both of them started to meet more unique strangers as well, ranging from a high school student riding on a bike to a university student that is out for a job hunting, all amused at the unlikely duo.

However, life on earth is not always sunshine and rainbows.

The angel, not knowing the dangers lurking in the night, walked his way on to his hideout. He was stopped by a shady looking man who smelled of booze. The man asked for the angel's money but the angel replied that he was only provided what he needed on a daily basis by god. He gave the man a loaf of bread instead since he thought the man must be hungry. The drunk man, enraged by the angel's innocent response, released a small knife and threatened the angel. The crow suddenly appeared after seeing the dangerous glint of metal from the human. It started attacking him to defend the angel. However, the crow was badly hit when the man started to use the knife to shoo it away. The man stopped his actions when he saw a passing policeman on patrol, leaving the terrified angel and a badly injured crow.

The angel quickly went to the crow, sensing the shortening life of his injured friend. "Mr. Sky, Mr. Sky, why did you have to protect me from the bad guy! You got hurt badly because of me!" the angel said, tears flowing on his droopy eyes. The crow looked at his crying friend, trying to comfort him by rubbing its head albeit weakly. The crow gave two weak "kuak", signifying the angel that the crow is calling for his name. The angel, not wanting to let his first and only friend die, went immediately to the nearest establishment to seek help.

In the convenience store, a bored part-time clerk wearing the uniform of the popular store was surprised to see a crying boy around his age holding a badly injured crow and asking him to help him save his friend. At first the clerk feel like he was being pranked on but upon seeing more blood flow on the crying boy's hand, he started to be serious and gave the boy directions to the nearest veterinary clinic. The angel pleaded with the veterinary doctor to save the crow but before it was treated the crow gave it's last two "kuaks" and died. The doctor gave the angel a few minutes alone with the dead crow. When the doctor was about to check up on the boy a black feather, a white feather and a loaf of bread was left behind instead.

The angel was really surprised to see himself back in heaven. He was called immediately by god for his report. He then started to tell his own experiences to him, including the crow that became his friend till the end. The god asked the angel if he found an answer to his request. The angel replied, saying that he didn't think any creatures were worth purging.

The god, mildly surprised by the angel's answer, asked for the reason behind it. The angel said that during the time he spent on earth, he realized that every creature has hidden goodness in their hearts.On his first week on earth, he was attacked by crows which can be considered a bad deed but a lone crow saved him. The man who attacked him and his friend did a bad deed too but the angel had also met more kind hearted individuals who helped him in several ways. The angel thinks that even if he experienced a bad deed from an individual or group, it doesn't mean that every other similar creature is also bad.

The god,satisfied at the angel's answer, accepted his answer. He declared that he will stop his plans of purging one of his creations as well. The angel asked the god if it's possible to be returned back to earth permanently. The god warned the angel, telling him that proceeding with his plan will make him lose all his memories as an angel until his timely end.

"Even if my friend Mr. Sky will not be around anymore once I returned, I would still like to enjoy the life on earth so I can tell my new adventures to Mr. Sky when we meet again in the afterlife." He replied firmly to god.

Seeing the fiery determination on the angel's decision,the god granted his request, wishing him well on his journey. After the angel disappeared, he then summoned the crow's spirit. The god told the crow that he will grant one wish from it as a reward for helping the angel on his important mission. The crow told the god it's wish. When the god asked if it's final, the crow replied with two "kuak". The god chuckled and granted the crow's wish as well.

He then stared at his creations on earth, wondering if their friendship will lead them back to each other in their new lives...

Epilogue:

Ohira Shosei, 19 years old, was sitting nervously in his seat. He, among other 100 contestants, was nervously waiting for their turns to be evaluated on stage. He declared to himself that this is his last attempt at entering the entertainment world so he will do his best as well. Shosei watched his peers being evaluated one by one by the scary judges.

His nervousness had changed when the next set of trainees, a pair, entered the stage. For some unknown reason his attention was focused on one of the pair, the taller guy with black hair and fox eyes similar to his teammate, Kawashiri Ren.

"...I'm Kinjo Sukai. Together, we are Team SKY."
