Certificates of Mastery

Summary:

The lesson that everyone who sticks around learns in the Reborn Region is that power alone isn't enough.

You have to know how to use it, to make it effective. Any of the Gym Leaders, in particular, could tell you that.

And here, they will.

(I don't own Pokemon, or Pokemon Reborn).

Notes:

For some reason, the idea crossed my mind of having each of the Reborn Leaders using a field that might be "odd" for them to use, and how they'd react to it.

Here we go.

Chapter 1: Julia's Rainbow

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

"WOOOOOOO!"

"Aren't rainbows fun!? And Rini said I couldn't make one with electricity and water!"

"...well, she said I could, but that it was a bad idea to practice doing it inside."

"Oh well! We're outside now, and I practiced in Amy's gym after the accident!"

"Here I go!"

Notes:

Julia's main reason for using the Rainbow Field? Sonic Boom deals 140 flat damage.

Her team is as follows - and her reasons for using them.

Magnezone (Sonic Boom)
Electrode (Sonic Boom, Z-Move)
Togedemaru (Zen Headbutt)
Electrivire (Meditate)
Heliolisk (Special Normal attacker)
Mega Ampharos (Dragon Pulse)
