A Lack of Care

Summary:

Dark Heart has been breaking the Caring Meter and Cheer wants to get him to stop.

Notes:

writers block still kickin my ass!!! so here is a rando warmup for fellow sick twisted hell-goers yippee!

Work Text:

“He did it again!” Grumpy angrily exclaimed. “He broke the Caring Meter! I’m sick of having to fix it every single time.”

“Again? That’s the third time this month, isn’t it?” Tenderheart asked.

“Yes, it is. And if it breaks once more I’m no longer fixing it.” Grumpy warned while crossing his arms.

“Are you sure it’s him?” Cheer asked. “He hasn’t bothered us in quite awhile.”

“Who else would? That guy doesn’t care at all! I’m not sure if he’s even capable of caring about others.”

It was an extreme remark, one that Cheer Bear didn’t believe at all. Yet it seemed most if not all the other bears in Care-A-Lot agreed. They didn’t think that Dark Heart was capable of caring, for he was a typical demon who couldn’t understand the feeling. Even though their frustrations were valid, Cheer simply couldn’t give up on another person, for everyone was capable of becoming a better version of themselves in the eyes of Cheer. In fact, the people who need a little bit of tender love and care were always the ones that were the hardest to give it to. But being a leader, she wasn’t one to back down from a challenge, especially when someone was in need.

“I’ll talk to him.” She stated.

“What? Talk to him? Are you crazy?!” Grumpy said. “You can’t just talk to a demon!”

“Why not? It’s worth a shot!”

“I don’t know, Cheer… Grumpy has a point, it’s a dangerous risk. I don’t want you getting yourself hurt.” Tenderheart said.

“But what else are we going to do? Not do anything and let the Caring Meter be messed with for years to come? We have to do something. I’ll be careful, I promise.”

She started heading for the door and Tenderheart called out for her.

“Hey! Wait! I don’t want you going off by yourself… Maybe you should invite him here instead. That way we can keep an eye on him.”

Grumpy jumped up, “What?! That’s even more crazy! You’re going to risk all of us!”

Cheer nodded towards Tenderheart, ignoring Grumpy’s protests, “I’ll go write him a letter then.”

Hopefully he’d respond well to the letter. Cheer was a bit nervous if she were being honest. She faked the confidence back there, inside she was terrified. She knew this had to be done though, and maybe they could earn another friend if she was successful. It only took a few days to send her letter out and only a few days to get a response, however it wasn’t in the form of a written message. Instead the demon showed up unannounced in a human form.

“Howdy.” He said behind opaque shades to hide his red eyes. “I’m here to fix your Caring Meter.”

Cheer spoke up first, the others backed away from the front door with weariness.

“Uhm, yeah! I thought maybe we could talk about what’s been going on with it… Grumpy thinks you may have something to do with it.” Cheer explained.

“That’s quite the accusation coming from such an insignificant animal.”

“Well that’s not very–”

Dark Heart walked past her, not waiting for her to invite him inside, “Let me guess, you want me to join your silly little intervention so we can all become the bestest of friends!” He mocked with a smile.

“Well, as a matter of fact, yes.” Tenderheart spoke up for her. “Something like that.”

Dark Heart took a look at him, taking off his shades temporarily to give an intimidating gaze at the others and scoffed. “And if I said no?”

“Then we may have a big problem on our hands.”

“Oh you would indeed.” Dark Heart said, observing some of the things in the building like it was a museum. “I can do a lot more than simply mess with your dumb devices.”

“Will you talk with us then?” Cheer asked. “I want to solve this problem. Maybe we can come to some sort of agreement.”

“You’re cute, what sort of agreement?”

“Oh thank you, and I’m not sure… First I’d like to ask why you’re doing this.”

“If we’re going to have a meeting, and if you want me to comply at all, I’d like for us to speak alone. After all, you were the one who asked for my presence. I think it’s only polite.”

Grumpy intervened, “If you have something to say, you can say it to all of us.”

“Grumpy–” Cheer said.

“He’s right.” Said Tenderheart. “We need to make sure we can all agree to the conditions, and that you’re safe.”

“Then no deal.” Dark Heart.

“Oh but! Wait!” Cheer exclaimed, grabbing a hold of his sleeve as he moved towards the door. “We can talk alone.”

“Cheer, you can’t seriously trust this guy.” Grumpy said in disbelief.

“I have to.” She said, “There can’t be an agreement if there is no trust involved.”

“Good.” Dark Heart stated. “Where to, then?”

Cheer didn’t realize she was still holding onto him, letting go with slight embarrassment as she guided him towards the end of the hall, “We’ll talk in my room. We’ll have more privacy there.”

Cheer didn’t think anything of it, especially since if something did go wrong, it being her room she would take the responsibility of anything breaking. He seemed to be complying though, so maybe this would go smoothly. When they got to her bedroom, Dark Heart was the one to lock it, leaning against the door with his arms crossed casually.

“Why are you messing with the Caring Meter?” She asked.

“Because I don’t care about anyone.”

She didn’t know where to begin with that kind of response.

“But why not?” She asked redundantly. “Surely you must care about something, all you have to do is apply that to people! And understand that whatever pain you go through, others do too.”

The male physically yawned at the concept, walking towards her. She backed away nervously as he continued past her, looking at her things and picking up knick-knacks she had on shelves.

“Please be careful with those.” She said.

Through his shades he stared blankly at her before dropping the object intentionally.

“Hey!” She shouted, visibly upset.

The glass object broke and he stepped on the pieces to make sure it was unfixable.

“Why would I care about any of that?” Dark Heart said coldly.

“I… Well…”

She was stumped with an explanation. How were you supposed to explain a feeling that someone didn’t feel? Was he really incapable like the others had claimed? No, that was quitter talk. She just had to find a way to articulate it properly. She wished she had the others here, someone like Bedtime Bear would be able to explain it easier than she. Or someone like Love-A-Lot whose hugs could make anybody feel joyous warmth.

“What makes you happy, Dark Heart?” Cheer asked.

Going about it her own way should work, she was always the best at making people happy. Maybe she could use happiness to make him understand.

“Sabotaging the Care Bears!” He laughed.

“Oh. Uhm… Anything other than that?” She smiled awkwardly.

“Making others upset. Like you, just now. Seeing the wince on your face as I broke what’s sentimental to you. I enjoyed that. I’d like to see that again.”

“Please don’t.”

“Although material possessions can be replaced if not fixed. I like to make marks that aren’t fixable, that can’t ever be made back to the way they were.” He was closing in on the animal, backing her up against her bed frame. “I like to cause pain that can’t be healed from. I want to see more than just a wince from you. I want to see you cry.”

Cheer was shocked more than anything, and terrified. Oh gosh, what did she get herself into? She needed to call for help, stat.

He closed her mouth with a hand before she could yell out for the others.

“You said that we’d be alone.” Dark Heart reminded. “Don’t stray from your end of the deal.” He slowly removed his hand enough for her to reply, but not far enough that he couldn’t clasp it immediately if she dared scream.

“You’re scaring me…” She said softly.

The male grinned, “And that makes me very happy.”

“What do you want then?” Cheer asked. “How can I make you care enough to stop messing with the Caring Meter?”

He took a hold of her paws, squishing them gently as he took in how adorable she was, “Indulge me.”

“Huh?”

He then picked her up as she was as light as a small child, tossing her onto the bed and crawling on top of her.

“W-what are you doing?” She asked, more and more nervous with each escalating action.

“You want me to care, right?”

“Of course!”

“Then do this with me.”

“Do what?” She asked innocently while looking up.

He smirked, spreading her legs apart to observe her anatomy. She tried to close her legs instinctively when he touched her in a spot nobody ever has. She didn’t understand the meaning of it. He continued touching her, moving his fingers inside which really made her squirm in discomfort.

“No, no I don’t want this.” She stated, heart beating so fast it felt painful. “Please stop touching me. I don’t like it.”

“Awh, don’t you care about me?” Dark Heart asked, once again in a non-serious tone.

Did she care about him? To an extent she cared for everyone, but he wasn’t a close friend or anything like that. But she did care for her fellow bears, so if this was the way to help them out, she supposed she could do it. But what even was “it”?

Whatever Dark Heart was doing to her, she sure wasn’t enjoying it.

Especially when he began shoving his fingers inside roughly, wiggling them around, curling them in an upwards motion to find a pleasure point. She squealed and kicked her legs at him when he found it, but it only made him lean into the spot more while he pressed his own genitals against her inner thigh, rubbing against her to feel himself up. She was so soft everywhere, both inside and out. She adorably squinched her eyes shut when he would rub his thumb against the outside of her cunt. She was so sensitive, tears forming in her eyes as he built up her climax only to remove his hand and watch her whine.

Still scared and confused, Cheer attempted to get away from him but the male grabbed her ankle and pulled her back into the middle of the mattress.

“We’re not done.” Dark Heart said, irritated with her attempts to get away.

“I don’t want to!”

“I don’t care!” He yelled back, getting his dick out and shoving it inside her without a warning. She yelped out in pain and surprise.

“It hurts! Dark Heart please stop!” Cheer begged, trying to push him away.

It was no use, she was less than half his height with none of the strength to fend him off especially at that angle. He had his way with her, thrusting in and out and she cried and whimpered helplessly. In her heart she knew this wasn’t right, it hurt a lot and she didn’t like it. Dark Heart really didn’t care, even when she begged and sobbed for him to stop already. He pushed her head into the pillow to silence her as he continued. He didn’t last long in that position, fucking her like he was on her level, like animals in heat. He came suddenly, squeezing her fluffy sides to grab her and force her body as close to his as possible. His dick was too big to fit all the way, and what did fit caused an excruciating feeling.

After he was done with her he got off the bed, acting like nothing had happened. He petted her head, not in a comforting way but more in another form of dominance as he spoke down to her,

“I still don’t care about you. But I’ll uphold my end of the deal. I’ll leave you stupid bears alone from now on, unless you you want my services again.” He chuckled at his little joke before exiting the room.
