"Hey who do you like better, The Smiths or The Cure?"
"Obviously The Smiths! They are so much better."
"You are so wrong. The Cure is way better. The Smiths aren't even that good."
"Are you serious? The only good song by The Cure is Boys Don't Cry."
"Have you even tried listening to them?? They have so many good songs, like yeah Boys Don't Cry is really fucking good but they have other songs just as good or even better. I'm making you a playlist right now."
"Fine. It's going to he a terrible playlist so I might as well make you one too with actual good music."
"Okay whatever, forget the playlist, I brought my earbuds come over here and I'll show you some of their other good songs."
"Sure, I already know this is going to suck though."
"Okay you can show me some 'good' songs by The Smiths next, if there even is any."
"This fucking sucks I haven't heard one good song yet."
"I think you just have terrible taste. How the fuck do you think Play For Today is a bad song."
"I don't have bad taste hand over your phone I'm putting on The Smiths now."
"Okay this proves my point. All these songs are trash, literally how do you like this shit but not The Cure."
"You actually have terrible taste. How do you not like Asleep or There Is a Light That Never Goes Out?"
"Those were like the worst ones. Let me show you another song by The Cure now."
They fight for the phone until one of them grabs the others hand accidentally and they both freeze up. The phone is long forgotten and they're staring at other other, hands still together. One of them looks down at the others lips and then it's like all of a sudden their unfrozen. They don't know who moves first but, now they're kissing. Just a gentle barely there touch at first but then one of them puts their hand on thr back of the other's head and pushes their lips together more harshly. They pull away from each other after a few seconds.
"Wow I guess I should talk more about how much I hate The Cure now if that's what happens."
"Fuck off."
Then they're kissing again.
