Buggy the Star Clown.
It was a short encounter when Mihawk saw him at Marine Ford for the first time.
But he had heard about him way before their first meeting, all from the youngest emperor Shanks.
It's no secret that Dracule Mihawk and Red hair Shanks are longtime rivals. When the two fight and it end in a tie. They always drank afterwards.
(More like Shanks forced Mihawk to drink poor quality beers meanwhile the warlord wanted high quality wine.)
Shanks drunken ramblings always revolved around buggy, Mihawk felt bad about knowing everything about a stranger.
Everything.
Whether it was his fears, his passions, what he liked in bed, or how he is a sleep talker.
Once, when they were having sex Shank moaned Buggy’s name instead.
The two are not in a relationship, they are rivals and friends who occasionally had sexual intercourse when they were too tipsy.
So Mihawk wasn't bothered about it. It didn't hurt Mihawk, but it intrigued him.
The man Red hair Shanks loved and obsessively cherished and missed.
Mihawk wanted to know the man by himself.
As this was his second encounter with Buggy, the cross guild alliance was formed. It's was the perfect opportunity.
Even though he was familiar with all aspects of buggy due to Shanks, he still felt like he could learn more. Shanks drunken conversations was all over the place, or he never ended any stories.
While he did not know the reason for his curiosity, he was almost eager to learn more about the clown.
That's why he stopped Crocodile from killing Buggy.
"It may not be the worst idea to have him take the spotlight, I don’t know about you but i much prefer a quieter life"
"You serious?" Crocodile asked curiously.
"Let him take the brunt of the attention and if he become inconvenient we can get rid of him at any time"
Crocodile let go of buggy's hair "that a good point"
Reattaching his body, Buggy remains motionless on the ground.
Crocodile looked down at him in disgust then sighed. "I'm going to begin looking of where we should go next, let's not leave him alone this coward enjoys running away" The black haired man said as he stepped up from the couch and walked away.
As soon as Buggy heard the door close, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a mirror, then sat down on the couch far away from Mihawk.
"This Bastard! He ruined my beautiful hair, at least my makeup is still on."
Observing the blue haired, Mihawk turned his head to the right.
"Your first concern is your hair even though you almost got killed."
While puffing his chest up, Buggy said, "Of course! If I have to die, I want to look good at least."
A small smile appeared on Mihawk's face, and Buggy's eyes widened at the former warlord's behavior.
Hawkeye can smile?
Wait? he is mocking me!! Bastard!
B-but if i am still alive it’s thanks to him.
"It was for your own gain, but you saved me Hawkeye." buggy said as he stood up on his feets.
Mihawk hummed "I did indeed do it for myself but it’s not entirely for the reasons i stated earlier"
Buggy tilted his head confused "Well i don’t care for the reasons it’s helped me!"
Mihawk glared at buggy, who was about to leave.
Seeing the cold gaze directed at him, he squirmed. "W-What?"
In the aftermath of Zoro and Perona leaving his castle, Mihawk was bored. Even though he loved his alone and quiet life, he would be a liar if he didn't occasionally need entertainments. The Abolishment of the Seven Warlords of the Sea was exiting, not only he could tell great fights were coming but-
"Crocodile is right, leaving you unsupervised will only lead to you escaping. You will stay under my watch"
"Eh?! Everytime?" Buggy screamed.
Mihawk nodded "When it isn't me, it will be crocodile"
Buggy began to cry dramatically as he fell on his knees.
It could be said that buggy might be his best entertainment.
