“ Andwae!!”
Jungkook stirred from his sleep and his eyes open hastily as he heard a familiar voice. His orbs welcome a sight of Jieun panting heavily sitting on his side while clutching tightly on her chest.
He sat up immediately. His hand reached for hers on her chest giving her a gentle squeeze “ another nightmare?” He asked, voice filled with worries.
Jieun stared back at him and nodded.
Jungkook pulled her closer enveloping her petite body in a warm embrace. His hand at the back of her soft hair moving up and down in a calming manner. “ You and your team are working hard for this concert noona, everything will be alright”
Jieun heaved a soft sigh “ I know….I just.. I just can’t help to get worried”
Jungkook continously caress her hair gently “ It’s normal to feel worried noona, but I know you’ll do great. You will always do great! And even if you make a slightest mistake, your fans will not criticized you. WE won’t criticized you”
Jieun pulled out from the hug and stared at the pair of doe eyes that always scream love and admiration whenever it met on her own “ are you really sure about attending two days? Won’t our fans suspect us?”
Jungkook curled his lips into soft smile before his hands moved to her cheeks, his thumb gently caressing the apple of her cheeks. “ I’m your number 1 fanboy remember? And besides at this point I really don’t care about what other people will say, I want to give you my full support hmmm”
Jieun can’t help but returned his smile “ thank you Jungkook-ah”
Jungkook placed a chaste kiss on her lips “ I’m always here for you noona”
“ How did I get so lucky?” Jieun blurted out. Her heart race rapidly against her chest. It’s always like that whenever she’s with him, or whenever she talk to him, or whenever she think about him. Everything about him make her heartbeats so fast.
“ I’m the one who’s luckier” Jungkook stared at her pretty face. It still felt surreal for him. He still couldn’t believed that she’s dating him. He’s been admiring her since her debut, listening to her songs and watching her dramas, then unknowingly his admiration turned to love. From being out of reached for almost 10 years, she’s now here, right by his side. Though, for 4 years of dating there were times that they were not together because of their busy schedule, still she was reachable.
Her lips curled up into wide smile “ I love you”
Jungkook smiled back before he lay down the bed, pulling her together with him. One arm supporting her head while he placed the other on her back to pull her closer to his chest. “ I love you more!” He whispered as his warm lips touched her forehead before he hummed a melody.
Jieun close her eyes feeling his warmth, her ears are blessed with the familiar melody. Worries slipping away slowly from her mind before she drifted into sleep.
Jungkook smiled widely as he heard her breathing calmly. He was worried for her as she has been having a nightmare every night related to her concert. The reason why he insisted to sleep with her every night, that, and something else. After all, he wouldn’t know when their group will be busy again.
