Gwen biked to Griffin's house early Saturday morning. With her brother practicing baseball with the league's local star, Bruce Yamada, and with her father off doing who knows what, Gwen saw this as an excellent opportunity to hone her biking skills. Hopping off her bike just short of his house, she began walking her bike downhill. Halfway down the hill that leads to the Hopper household, she heard loud, heavy breathing coming closer. "Gwen!" She whipped around at the sound of her name being called. She walked as Billy Showalter bolted towards her. He was clearly out of breath but still maintained his speed. Stepping out of the way, Billy hit the ground, scraping his hands and knees. "Gwen, what the fuck, dude?" As he stood up again, he said Gwen giggled at his anger, which made Billy laugh along with her. "Wanna use my bike?" Gwen asked. Billy hopped onto her bike without much thought. "You know how to ride one?" She teased. "Ha ha," Billy responded sarcastically. The pair went quiet and walked the rest of the way to Griffin's house.

As they reached the stairs of Griffin's house, Billy stopped. Gwen stood beside him, confused. "Ya gonna go up the stairs?" She asked. Billy didn't respond; he just climbed off her bike and put the kickstand down. "I will; it's just." He paused and took a deep breath. "What if Vance answers the door?" Gwen couldn't believe what he had just admitted; sure, Vance Hopper was a little scary, but not going to your friends' house because of him was a little absurd. Despite this, she began to laugh. "Geez, you're afraid of Pinball Vance!" She exclaimed. Billy groaned as she continued to laugh even harder. "Why don't you tell the whole world, Gwen?" He complained. Gwen laughed even harder at his misfortune. Gwen stopped laughing and grabbed Billy's hand, dragging him up the stairs. "What better way to face your fears than to deal with them head on!" Billy groaned as Gwen dragged him up the stairs and made him ring the doorbell.

To Gwen's delight and Billy's misery, Vance had opened the door. "Showalter? "What the fuck are you doing here?" He asked. Vance had black headphones around his neck and a black controller in his hand to match. "Oh uhm." He stuttered. Gwen let go of his hand and shushed him. "We're here to see Griffin; is he here?" Vance laughed. "Never knew you had a girlfriend." He closed the door and left Gwen and Billy in silence. "I'm never coming over here again." Gwen declared. Billy nodded in agreement as Vance opened the door again with Griffin still not here. "He's not here." Vance said. Gwen sighed and pushed her way inside the house. "Showalter come get her." Vance called as Billy hurried inside after Gwen and dragged her out. "Tell your shithead of a brother the next time I see him I'm killing him!" She yelled as Billy dragged her down the stairs and towards her bike. "Sorry." He rushed out to the now closed door. "Gwen you can see him tomorrow." She huffed and sat down on her bike. "So are you biking us back or am I?"

Finney pulled his jacket higher over his shoulders, attempting to shield what he knew he couldn't hide. He'd spent years trying to undo what his body was made to do. Gwen came into his room and gasped when she saw what he was wearing.

"Why?" She asked. Finney gestured vaguely around his room. The walls were painted a light pink, his closet was overflowing with "girlish" clothes that he had yet to give to Gwen and, under his bed was filled with "girly shoes"

"Why do you think?" He deadpanned. Gwen offered Finney her hand. He chuckled and took her hand.

"My knight in shining armor." He teased, putting a hand on his forehead and fell backward bringing Gwen down along with him.

"Come on, Robin's waiting for you Cinderella" Gwen laughed as did Finney. The pair got off the floor and stared at Finney's door.

"After you sire." Gwen bowed and Finney walked downstairs.
