Seduction Rolls

Summary:

Momo discovers Dungeons and Dragons, thinking it would be a great way to break the monotony of the 1-A “Girl’s Night”. A certain frog starts scheming a way to make it even better for them. Dice will be rolled, dungeons will be delved, and a certain cinnamon roll will be painfully oblivious.

Notes:

My first foray into fanfiction in a very long time, so I'm bound to be very rusty. Any feedback would be appreciated, positive and negative, so I can grow to be a better writer. Updates may be erratic due to my work schedule and the fact that I am teaching myself how to DM a game so I can hopefully help things flow in a more logical manner.

Special thanks to LuckyJester, Shadow-DJ, Qaletaqa, and Argo, all from Epsi's Hoard

I do not own BNHA or Dungeons and Dragons.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter 1: Prologue

Chapter Text

Yaoyorozu Momo was excited, that much was clear. With her new acquisition, she had hungrily devoured the contents of her newest book, committing everything to memory as she began plotting. The book in question being a copy of the Dungeon Master’s Guide of the most recent edition of Dungeons and Dragons. The raven haired heiress had never known such a thing existed until she had seen it referenced in one of her fantasy romance novels. She simply had to know if such a thing was real, and she was delighted to find it. With some help from online forums, she had managed to gain enough of an understanding of Western role playing games to gain a sizable font of knowledge to pull from to, hopefully, entertain her friends. It wasn’t long before she had supplemented her initial purchase with Players Handbooks, dice sets, miniatures, and various other materials to increase the immersion of any player willing to join. Now, all she had to do was convince the girls to join! It sounds easy enough.

She decided to wait until Sunday, when the girls of 1-A were enjoying their day off from classes and were more susceptible to her suggestion. They had been enjoying their usual movie night, Jirou Kyouka curled up in a shivering ball behind Momo’s back as the other girls, barring Mina who was cackling like a witch, screamed as Executive Officer Kane was attacked by something leaping out of an egg and onto his helmet. For such an old film, the Pre-Quirk era had produced movies that live in everyone’s nightmares to this very day, some 200 years later. Taking pity on the cowering, petite woman, Momo cleared her throat and motioned to pause the film, granting mercy upon the violet haired punk.

“What’s up, Yaomomo? Too scared?” Teased Mina, a smug grin on her face as Kyouka slowly peeked out from behind the statuesque woman.

“No, I find this movie to be quite suspenseful. It is remarkable how much passion the director had put into it, although the architecture of that alien ship was rather… unnerving. I feel as if I’ve seen something like that before.” Momo pondered. Regaining her train of thought, however, she continued, “Anyway, that is not important. In fact, I rather had an idea I would like to put up to you girls. Something we can do as a group that can hopefully help avoid any… conflicts… unlike how movie night has devolved into at points.” She declared, shooting a pointed look at the pink-skinned woman. Mina’s fixation on horror movies to the detriment of other genres could be taxing, but it didn’t make her any less endearing. With everyone looking at her with interest, Momo took the opportunity to proceed further.

“Have any of you heard of Role Playing Games?” She asked. Taking a moment to see that all of them shook their heads, or their torso in Tooru’s case, Momo noted that there was a gleam of curiosity in their eyes. “It is a style of tabletop game that is very popular in the West in which you make a character and go on quests and adventures as that character! One person takes the role of a “Dungeon Master” and must create challenges, handle rewards, and create a world for the players to inhabit.” Now THAT had their attention.

“What do we need to get started?” Mina asked, gears turning in her head at what she could possibly be. Whatever this game entailed, it sounded fun. Going on adventures, fighting bad guys, making friends, and saving the world had its charm. It helped that a lot of the time the bad guys tended to be bullies, and she would absolutely enjoy putting them in their places. She only hoped that any math involved was minimal, a faint sense of dread filling her as she noticed the stack of papers and weird looking dice. Judging by her silence, Tooru was probably feeling a similar sense of dread. She’ll need to remember to bring a calculator.

“The only thing I would ask of you all is to think of what you would like to be, and to provide snacks and refreshments for the group! I have all the materials we would need to play with already!” Momo stated, clasping her hands together and beaming with happiness. “Oh, that reminds me! Since it seems you are all interested, I went ahead and gathered enough for everyone! Please, take a handbook and a set of dice, and don’t worry about paying me back for anything Ochako, dear, I insist!” With that, Momo suddenly spun in place, knocking Kyouka flat on her back as she clambered over her bed to reach the bag containing her purchases, unaware of the pained, yet blissful, screams of the punk girl trapped within her bosom, pinned to the unrelenting softness of her mattress.

Meanwhile, Mineta Minoru froze in place, a sudden sense of extreme envy consuming him.

Ochako didn’t look entirely convinced, her desire to accept Momo’s kindness warring with her refusal to accept anything she felt was a handout, even if it was a gift. Izuku and Iida had gone to great lengths to assure her that it was perfectly fine to accept things given freely by her friends, but her old habits of doing everything she could to avoid spending money were not so easily broken. Swallowing her pride, she graciously accepted the items Momo had provided, silently thrilled at how the heiress had incorporated her costume's color scheme into her dice selection. Pink and black polyhedrons rattled against their container as she studied them. Looking at the others, she could tell all of the girls had their own color coordinated dice: Pink, teal, and yellow for Mina, green, black, and yellow for Tsu, even a transparent set speckled with bits of multi-colored specks for Tooru.

“Well… if you insist. It does sound fun.” She eventually said, her smile growing more genuine as Momo eagerly nodded her head, blinding the group with her own radiant smile. Perhaps she’ll take the chance to indulge a bit and chip in for some snacks, really reinforcing the fact that she wasn’t wasting money if she was providing for her friends.

“Now, please take this week to read over the rules and then we can have a day creating everyone’s characters! I’ll hopefully have an idea of what to do by the following Sunday.” Momo finished, after handing everyone their own materials, Kyouka silently hid her blushing face behind her copy of the handbook. “Thank you for indulging me, girls, I sincerely appreciate it!” Momo added, her face still beaming brightly. Completely caught in the moment, she scooped Kyouka into her arms and sat the petite woman onto her lap, oblivious to the fiery blush she was now sporting, and motioned for Mina to resume the film. “With that out of the way, I am curious to see what happens next!”

All Kyouka could do before returning to the torment was give Momo a silent “Why have you forsaken me?” glare before accepting her fate. She wouldn’t be sleeping for multiple reasons tonight, it seemed. Mina and Tooru whispered among themselves on what kind of shenanigans they could get into as they idly flipped through the pages of their handbooks, stopping only to watch the more exciting scenes as the film went on. Tsuyu, meanwhile, was concocting an idea. An idea that was stupid enough to work. An idea involving a certain green haired cinnamon roll and a dose of Soviet Propaganda from a certain amphibian. Operation: Roll to Seduce was quickly forming, all the frog had to do now was rope the other girls into it. She would have her Ultimate Harem, come Hell or high water, she would have them all.
