Flint did regular maintenance around CrocoDaiOh, which wasn’t particularly interesting or as fun as making new stuff. But it was necessary, because her brothers would let things linger and become larger problems if she didn’t check them regularly.
After running around the ship all day, and doing some minor maintenance, Flint went to Colourful to relax. She was a bit sore, but that wasn’t anything out of the ordinary.
At Colourful, Flint reached up for some candy, getting on her tiptoes to reach it.
"Whoa," she said, noticing some pain on her knee as she got down, successfully grabbing the candy but stumbling back a step.
"A-are you okay?" Magine asked.
"Yeah I’m fine. My legs are tired. I was wandering all over CrocoDaiOh today," Flint said, sitting down to eat.
"O-oh. Okay. I-if you need anything let me know!"
"Okay," Flint said. After sitting down, Flint touched her knee again, trying to see how big the pain was. She didn’t remember bumping it on anything, but maybe she did and just didn’t notice. It was pretty small, from what Flint could tell from the pain, and she figured it was a bruise but that didn’t stop her from making a big deal about it.
"Magine," Flint got her attention. "I have a bruise on my leg, can you give me some ice please?"
"O-of course!" Magine said, going to get an ice pack. Flint put her leg on the seat next to her as Magine came over.
"Do y-you need anything else?"
"Not really…not right now. How was your day today?"
Flint changed the topic, happy to just eat candy while chatting with Magine for a while. And the ice did help her feel better.
When the ice was melted and no longer useful, Flint carefully got up to leave.
"I should get going…"
"Ah! Can you get to your ship by yourself…?"
"Of course. I’ll be fine. Thanks," Flint said, giving Magine a kiss on the forehead before leaving.
Magine was flustered as Flint left, though clearly happy about the kiss.
Flint smiled, wishing she could stay longer, but her brothers would be worried if she stayed out too late.
She went back to the ship feeling much better.
