Panchito was just sitting on the couch (which is also a pull-out bed), tuning his own guitar. He wanted to create some more music for his next songs, but he needed music sheets too. Plus, his notebook was full.
Panchito tests out his main instrument and it played out perfectly, but rests his cheek on his hand, along with his elbow on the base of the guitar. He looks at the door, as he waits for his friends to come back from the store. He then looks down at the floor.
"I wonder when they're going to come back." Panchito says, as he sighs.
But not too long, Panchito see the door opening, revealing to be his good friends José and Donald, who were holding some bags.
"We're home!" José says, with a smile.
"Hola, amigos. What did you get?" Panchito greets them, before asking.
"Nothing much, just the usual stuff." Donald said a bit bluntly.
Donald looked inside the bag, and pauses to look back at Panchito.
"But first, you have to close your eyes." Donald smiled.
This caused Panchito to blank.
"Why?" Panchito asked in confusion.
"It's a surprise, and something that you might like." José smiles. "But first, you need to close your eyes, and wait until we say you can open them."
"Hmmmmm... okay." Panchito pondered, before replying.
He then covered his eyes with his hands, as he hears the sound of plastic crumbling for a bit, before hearing José's voice.
"Alright, time to uncover them."
As his hands leaves his eyes, the next thing he sees is a note book with a musical note on the cover.
"A notebook?" He then places the guitar on the side of the couch, before gently the notebook from José's hands.
He starts to skim through it, when he realizes that the pages were filled with blank music sheets.
"Wait, a music sheet notebook?!" Panchito's eyes widened as he stares at the two birds.
"Me and Donald had a feeling you wanted to create more songs, so we decided to buy this on as a gift." José smuged, as he side-eyed at Donald. "Plus, Donald here was ranting on what kind great ideas for future music." He said, teasing the duck.
"H-hey! I just thought he would need another one, that all." Donald yelled, feeling flustered.
Panchito looked at the notebook and back at his lovers. He then gets glistening eyes and puts the notebook on the guitar, before running up to them to give them a big hug.
"¡Muchas gracias, mis amores! I love you two so much!!" Panchito smiled with joy.
"Aww, meu galo fofo, we love you too." José says, returning the hug.
"No matter what." Donald said hugging back.
But then the two frozen as they both here purring noise, and it was coming from the rooster snuggling the two. They're both surprised to noticed that Panchito was actually purring.
'Panchito is purring? He's so cute!!!' Donald and José looked back at each other with glistening eyes filled with tears as they share the same though with each other.
