Chapter Text
Lucifer came up from hell carrying a basket of apples. He walked to Cain and Awan's house and put the apples on a stone counter. He then walked outside to find Cain. Cain was watching Caleb and Aaron trying to teach Enoch on how to care for the sheep. Cain noticed his father walking up to him and waved.
“Soooooooo son. When I was in hell this week, I was thinking-“
Cain snorts. “Wow scary, you thinking.”
Caleb and Aaron both notice Lucifer talking to Cain. “Hey Lucifer!” they both shouted at the same time.
Lucifer rolls his eyes at Cain. “What I was going to say is that I’ve come to the realization that I’ve never taught you how to fly so I was thinking that I should.”
“Do you even know how to teach anything?” Lucifer smirked, “Actually, don’t answer that.” Cain sighed.
“But yes Cain I can teach and I do want to teach you how to fly. Maybe somewhere else though, don’t want your family seeing your wings now do we.” Lucifer said as he used his hands to make flappy wing motions.
“Right, of course, let me tell Awan this time though. I don’t want her scolding me again.” He turned and walked to the fields where Awan was working.
“Awan?” he was behind her.
“Hm? Oh yes love?” She turned around and gave a pec to his lips. He gently returned it smiling into the kiss.
“Me and my father want to go somewhere for a while alone and I’m just telling you this time. Don’t worry, I’ll be back before dinner.” He explained as he wrapped his hands around her waist and gave her another kiss.
“Really? Are you going to tell me where you two are going?” She asked.
“No sorry, I don't even know where he’s going to take me. It’ll be a quick trip though darling.”
“Hmm alright. Have a good father’s bonding day I suppose.” she said before giving him a kiss on his cheek. Cain smiled brightly before walking off.
Lucifer was in Cain’s previous spot watching Caleb and Aaron trying to dismount Enoch from the horse he’s somehow riding on. Lucifer laughed as he saw Enoch hit the horse making it gallop away faster. Cain came up behind Lucifer sighing as he took in the view.
“You’re not going to help them?” Cain asked. He wasn’t shocked that Lucifer wasn’t helping but he wasn’t yelling remarks at them either.
“No, just waiting for you. Are you done being all lovey with your wife?”
“Yes, where are we going?”
“You are going to get on my back so I can fly you somewhere else. Not here though.”
Cain scoffs. “Yes I know not here. Now come on, I know some place where they won’t see you fly off.”
