Bye Bye Bye/ I want it that way 

this is set while the are rehearsing for the performance

“So Finn wants the boys to help him do a number to try resolve his and Mr Schue differences” announces Tina

“Really?” says Ryder

“Yes, I have told them that we will help, but we are all neutral in this, we are Switzerland, we will not taking sides.” says Artie

“Mmmmkay, so what is the number?” Says Jake 

“Better not be Mr Schu rapping or Defying gravity, we all had enough of that plus don't think my ears could either of them murdering high F.” snaps Kitty

“Don't worry Kitty, it isn't either a rap battle or a diva off. It's a battle of the boy bands. 

'N Sync & Backstreet Boys” said Artie,

“What is the mash up then? and who is gonna be Justin and who is gonna be Nick?” Said Unique 

“So Finn is Nick with I Want It That Way and Mr Schu is Justin with Bye bye bye” replies Blaine 

“Isn't Bye bye video the one where they are all tied up?” asks Marley 

“They are being marionette rather than tied up” says Blaine with small smile on his face “but yep that right one”

“How the hell are we gonna pull that off?” Say Ryder 

“I pulled a few strings and we got the stage rigged for 3 people” said Artie winking

Sam puts his arm around Ryder and says “i've learn over the years best not to ask how Artie arranges everything, but just go with the flow”

“So any way” Continue Artie “We need 2 boys to join N sync with Will and the rest of us will be Backstreet boys with Finn. Jake as you are most skilled dancer, I figured than you should be with Mr Schu as you are less likely to get yourself all tangled up than we would” 

“Yep sounds good to me”, says Jake. 

“So we just need one more to join Jake, any volunteers?” says Artie.

Unique can see Blaine bounce a little from the corner of her eye like he is about to burst or jump on a piano or something. So she is not surprised when he steps forwards and goes, 

“Well for the sake of neutrality, I will join Will and Jake, so I'm not seen to be siding with my kind of brother in law ish”.

Unique is fairly certain that is a BS reason Blaine has given, plus looks like he is trying to hide that he is almost in full tigger mode, he looks like a toddler jacked up on sweets and cakes.

“Right that settles that Blaine and Jake are with Mr Schue, And Ryder, Sam and me are with Finn” declares Artie, “Shall we go to the auditorium so Jake and Blaine can try out the rig?.” 

“Yes," says Blaine, over enthusiastically and starts skipping out of the choir room. 

Kitty looks at Unique and Marley and goes “what's up with Anderson he looks far too happy about this?”. Marley shrugs. Unique thinks that there is definitely something going on with the over-gelled senior but she isn't sure yet, as they all file out and down the corridor behind a bouncy Blaine.

By the time, final New Directions members reach the stage, Blaine Jake and Artie are already busy going over things with one of the AV club guys about how the rig works, and Blaine is getting his arms strapped into the rig, 

Blaine pulls down one arm to test the give of the bungee rope attached to it, then AV guy bends down and straps Blaine's ankles in one after the other.  Then moves on to explain it all to Jake.

Blaine goes” Sam, can you grab my phone and take a photo of me please I want to send it to Kurt.”

“Sure  dude” replies Sam as he goes to pick up Blaine's phone from the wings, walks back to front of the stage, goes “smile” and snaps the picture. Blaine has the biggest smile on his face. Sam hands Blaine back his phone whilst still attached to ropes, he types out a short message. 

Kitty looks at the stage, Jake is finally all strapped into his rig, he looks a bit uncomfortable and like this all brand new to him, whereas Blaine is looking super happy texting on his phone. No it's not just happiness he looks all blissed out. 

Kitty goes “Blaine you look far too comfortable and happy for someone tied up” she pauses for few seconds like the puzzle pieces have just fallen in to place “Ohh you like it don't you”

Blaine blushes, “So Blainey days got a kink for being tied up, does Kurt know about this?”

Just then Artie and Unique phones beep with incoming messages, Unique looks at her phone and sees 2 messages from Kurt.

As she is reading them, Artie goes “Blaine, Kurt just messaged me to make sure we got safe words set up, and he wants to make sure that the rig is safe and you can get out easily if you need too”. 

“I take it that a yes then” laughs Kitty 

Unique nodded to Artie, knowing that Kurt has sent the same or very similar texts to both of them.“So Blaine say Pavarotti, if you want to stop at any point, is that OK?” she says looking straight at Blaine and slipping into a more dominating tone of voice.

Blaine looks a bit surprised hearing Unique say his & Kurt private safe word, But he knows that if Kurt told her the word, means Kurt trusts her to look after him, so he will too.   “Yes Unique, I will thank you” In his head he added a silent “Sir” at the end of the sentence only to be heard and felt by Kurt. 

Unique looks at Jake, who is looking confused by all these exchanges “is Pavarotti ok for you Jake, or do you want a different word?”

“No that's fine for me too, I guess” goes Jake, so Unique types out a reply to Kurt to tell that everythings good and they are looking after both Blaine and Jake. 

Sam and Marley phones are now beep within coming messages. 

Marley goes “Kurt says you can ask me for cuddles once this is over if you need them Blaine.”

“Or Me” says Sam, “and I'm to make sure you have plenty of water to drink and a cookie too”.

Even thou, its via text, Blaine feels at ease knowing Kurt is make sure that everything is ok and he is being looked after but he wish Kurt was there in person and maybe they could leave the stage door unlocked and come back later tonight just the pair of them. Blaine bows his head picturing Kurt in front of him shirtless and with bare feet checking out the ropes and cuffs. Kitty voice snaps him back to here and now 

“So Kurt isn't as vanilla as we would all believe” Kitty smirks, she looks right at Blaine who still has a slight blush on his cheeks and  big smile too he has lifted his head back up to look around “Klaine are in to bondage and Dom/Sub, and we can all know by those texts, who is the Dom in this relationship, and no disrespect to either of you, but we all know what Santana would say if she was here”

“Wanky” echos around the auditorium after all the New Directions shouted it out, followed by with their laughter 

“Well, now we all figured out why Blaine wants to do this song, shall we have run through? before Kurt can fly back from New York to kill me, or Blaine has more than mints in his front pocket and No Blaine, Kurt can't help you with a private rehearsal after hours” jokes Artie, as he wheels off to wings to press play on the sound system. 

Finn comes running down the stairs from the back of the seats. 

“Blaine, why is my brother blowing up my phone with text messages about safe words and after care”

Finn seems not to have noticed that Blaine is currently attached to 4 ropes, via his wrists and ankles, 

The rest of New Directions look at Finn as they wait for the penny to drop with him.

“OHHH god no, I don't want to know about my little brother sex life” as he turns on his heels and runs out of the auditorium.
