Chapter 1: Tamayo's Tears

Chapter Text

This story will contain dark themes, that may or may not make you feel uncomfortable. Just because I write stories that involve dark themes doesn't mean that I support the actions of the character(s) committing them. I'm very sorry for the mistakes I missed. I will fix them later.

I hope you all enjoy.

Vibrant red petals distort, as they travel through the air, before colliding into the nearby wall. The macabre sight earns glistening eyes, and cries of animalistic anguish. A thunderous thud suffocates the screams of horror, when a body was sent crashing down to the floor. A trembling hand, soiled by webs of sanguine, travels to their owner's reddening abdomen, while their other hand is held out in front of them. Shaking and twitching in both horror and despair.

A hand, adorned with bulging veins and growing branches of red, twitches at the aroma of primal terror. The smell radiates from the growing pools of liquid rubies, and pearls of sweat that cling desperately on the man's chin and cheeks. His mouth was moving in an urgent pace, however whatever fruitless beg or threat he was uttering, never reached the ears of his once kind wife. Her inhumane pupils stabbed their way into his very soul, unbothered by the wails and bellowing of those whom she gave birth to.

In an instant, with a single motion of a clawed hand, she parted the soft and unprotected flesh of her husband's neck. She watched with a piercing gaze, as he struggled to fill his lungs with air. His blood quickly flooded his mouth, before running down the sides of his cheeks.

Corrupting his tears of sorrow.

Her husband extends his bloody hand out towards her again, as he tries to utter her name in between his choking and gurgling. He had hoped the sight would trigger something in her, but he was wrong. He collapsed onto his side, before she wordlessly steps over him. Her shadow slithered crossed the floor, before merging into the shivering pool of shadows, that belong to her children.

The last thing they saw, was a towering and bloody monster, they once knew as their mother. She approached them with two slow steps, before she disappeared. And their world was plunged into a realm of darkness and silence. None of them were given the chance to cry out.

Their mother stood in the middle of their remains, as she panted heavily, like a dog. Blood slides down her frozen vessel, before dripping onto the floor. Her hands shook, as she came down from the aftereffects of her bloodlust.

The bloodlust she inherited from him.

She blinked her eyes, perhaps one hundred times, as the events that just unfolded, repeated in her mind. She slowly and painfully realizes what she had just done. A broken and weak exhale leaves her body, upon seeing her husband. And her throat gave birth to a heart broken wail, as she watches her children die. All she could do, was fall shamefully onto her knees, before gathering up the pieces of her family.

All she wanted, was to watch her children develop into bright and caring people.

All she wanted, was to be release from the bondage of her declining health.

If she knew this would be the outcome. She would have never offered him an ear, and would have continue to fight on her own, for the sake of her family.

Oh, how she failed her children!

Oh, how she failed her husband!

Oh, how she failed...

" You didn't eat them?"

...herself....

She slowly looks over her shoulder and stares at the man, who she will soon learn, to be the progenitor of mankind's greatest threat.

Demons.

His hair sways gracefully in the breeze, as it's bathed in the angelic moonlight. His expression was a mixture between blossoming amusement and curiosity. Yes, she had slaughtered her family, but her reaction wasn't exactly what he was expecting. He approached her, completely unfazed by both her glare, and the many pools of blood that surrounded them. He studies her briefly, before taking in the bloodshed with a neutral, almost bored expression.

Her lips pulled and twisted into a dangerous snarl.

" You promised me,"

Her words leave her mouth rough, due to her weeping and hollering, however they still managed to hold onto her motherly wrath. His eyes snapped onto her soiled form, before he turns his body to face her.

" What" he asks, his voice holding a dangerous edge to them, yet the woman doesn't falter.

" You promise me," she shouts, before quickly adding, " You said you would cure me. That I wouldn't have to worry about my family's future!"

He took a moment to process her wavering words, before much to her disgust and horror, letting out a mocking short laugh. He takes in her expression, before sending her a smirk, that sent shivers throughout her body.

" I didn't lie, nor did I fail to fulfill my promises," his words were firm and clear, as he takes a step closer to her.

All she could do was stare into those bottomless plum red eyes.

" You are free from your troubles, both that of your health and your family," he explains in his smooth and rich voice, before adding rather cruelly," Blame your own foolishness. What sane person wouldn't inquire about what the cure would require, Tamayo,"

Tamayo could feel her heart grow heavy, as each word leaves his perfect lips, before effortlessly stabbing their way into her chest.

She failed her family.

She snapped, shooting up from her spot on the floor, before charging at him with her teeth expose, like a rabid dog. Her hatred towards him, and herself flooded her being, as she rose up her hands adorn with enlarging nails.

She swung her hand towards his neck, with the burning desire to behead him, and burn his remains. But the man never showed any sign of fear, or anger towards her attack.

Instead, he grins at her display of motherly wrath.

Tamayo's eyes widen, as they were submerged in shock and confusion, before white hot pain bleeds into her very being. Orbs of agony, gather at the corner of her eyes, as the world in front of her shifts. She falls down to the floor, as her body trembled.

Her throat freezes up from the pain.

She couldn't breathe.

She couldn't move.

Her body felt like it had been thrown into fire. Her gaze travels up from the man's feet, and onto his cold and uncaring pale face. She could feel ribbons of her blood starting to spill over the bridge that was her lower lip.

" I'm afraid beheading me and burning my remains won't be an easy task, my little Tamayo," he begins, her name leaves his mouth with a slight growl," My name is Muzan Kibutsuji, and to you, I am your Lord,"

Tamayo releases a cry of pain, as her organs were twisted and pulled within her body.

" I didn't turn you into a demon out of any goodness left in my heart, but out of the understanding that you will be a necessary tool in my goals," he explains bluntly.

Tamayo collapses onto the floor, her body shook from the lingering pain of his assault, as she panted heavily. His shadow moves, as he turns and walks away. Tamayo shifts herself onto her knees, before looking up at Muzan with watery eyes.

" I'll be back before the sun rises. When I return, I expect to see that you have eaten every single part of them. Think of it as a way to redeem yourself,"

Tamayo's eyes darted from Muzan's retiring form, and onto her dead family members. She couldn't believe what he had just ordered her to do.

" What?"

He stops at the threshold of her ruined home, and without looking at her, he simply says," Well...you are free from the shackles of sickness. However, you need the flesh of humans to survive. I expect this won't be too troubling for you. Considering how much joy that burned brightly within you, as you torn your children apart,"

Tamayo squeezes her eyes shut, as her hands morphed into fists, at the cruel remainder.

" The dead aren't worth your tears. Soon you won't even be able to tie a name to a face," he reassures.

He was gone, as soon as that harsh and unsolicited advice had finished leaving his lips. Leaving her alone in both her misery, and in the company of her dead family.

Oh, how she failed her children.

Chains and shackles weren't always necessary to prevent the desperate, and often shortsighted attempts of freedom. The phantom pains of a punishment can keep a hollow soul in line.

Both afraid to flee and afraid to offend.

Tamayo unwillingly remained by Muzan's overwhelming side. She was never given the opportunity of an escape, or a display of weakness from Muzan.

Besides, the sun of course.

However, Tamayo knew there wasn't anything she could do, with their shared weakness, that wouldn't result in both her death and failure. He...they... would slaughter innocent people until Muzan reached his full, before forcing her to do the same. And each time, the hellish appetite she inherited from Muzan, would win over the humanity she struggled to keep. The screams and faces of her victims blended together, as she made her way through homes, killing everyone underneath Muzan's watchful and delighted gaze.

And she hated herself for robbing families of their loved ones for her own survival. She didn't know how many years have passed since the death of her family. Her days eventually seamlessly merge into one cycle of carnage, and searching aimlessly for a mythical flower.

The Blue Spider Lily.

Muzan had started sending her off on her own, when he knew, she wouldn't try to flee from him. She would wander under the cold curtains of moonlight and blanket of stars. The only company she had was her thoughts. When she was on solo missions, she could freely think without getting punish. She knew that flower, he wanted with every ounce of his being, would be the key to stopping him.

She would only have to wait.

She wasn't sure if she had miscalculated how far Muzan's reach was, when it came to reading minds. Perhaps, he somehow became paranoid. After years of allowing her to go out on her own, he suddenly stopped. Forcing her to remain by his side, both as a servant, and as a rare second opinion.

Tamayo remain mostly silent, when in his presence. She would only open her mouth to respond to his questions, making sure to keep her answers short.

She thought that would be it. That would be all he would require from her, but she was severely wrong. She had made the mistake of going about her duties with blinders on, in her shortsighted attempt to distance herself from him. She had failed to see him observing her body under his intense gaze.

The intense pain from the ordeal, left her lower half paralyzed. She could feel what she knew was a mixture of his vile seed, and her infected blood oozing out of her. He carelessly pulled out of her sore and violated womanhood, without any consideration for her comfort and well-being.

The world was a blend of blurry shapes and warping colors to her for a few seconds, before she blinked her eyes a couple of times. She tested her sight onto her throbbing and bloody hand. She made the mistake of trying to fight back, when he had cornered her. He had taken her repeatedly within the veil of darkness, as people went about their day under the comforting rays of sunshine.

He left her alone, bruised, bloody and in mind numbing agony.

Tamayo could only weakly assume why he did what he did, with a painful twist of her stomach. Deep down she knew it wasn't solely due to her body. Her concerns quickly became a reality, when her body started to undergo familiar changes. Her hands were pressed almost painfully against her belly. Within her womb, was the child of the man who had robbed her of everything.

Her family.

Her freedom.

Her honor.

Tears of grief, hatred, and disbelief build up, before running down her face, as one hand shakenly moves away from her belly, and over towards a waiting kunai. A keepsake from one of her victims. Something she intended to bury along with his remains, but she couldn't bring herself to drop it into the shallow and messy grave. She picks it up, her hand shaking, with both uncertainty and primal fear, as she directs it towards her body.

Grisly and heart twisting images of screaming faces, earns a fresh wave of tears. Tamayo could feel her blood race throughout her body, as she weighs her options.

She didn't want this, to be use like this, giving him a child while he had taken hers!

She can't keep going on like this, living in both fear and agony. It was hopeless to think that she'll one day escape his grasp. Years of torment, grief, and misery came crashing down.  She cried out, as she brought down the kunai, in her moment of distress. Her attack was stopped long, before her racing and storming mind realized. She struggled, as the grip on her wrist tightens to an almost unbearable degree.

She yelps as nails dug into her flesh, before a sickening pop is released into the air, which was quickly followed by a thud and rattle.

Tamayo foolishly and fruitlessly claws at the hand, as her tearful gaze met with a displeased and wrathful red.

" What exactly were you about to do, Tamayo" Muzan asks coldly, his words laced with poorly hidden anger.

Tamayo's expression shapeshifts into one of hatred, as she shows him her fangs, before challenging his harsh glare with one of her own.

" You already know," she spat, before shouting " You Demon. You took everything from me,"

Muzan's eyes narrowed dangerously," Ungrateful wench,"

Tamayo wasn't given the opportunity to manifest her own insult and curses. Muzan let's go of her now swollen and bloody wrist, before his hand snapped down onto her head like a hungry animal. Tamayo hissed in pain, while he pulled her up to her wobbly feet, before wordlessly dragging her from the shattered safety of her room.

" Let go of me," she screamed while she claws at his arm, as he drags her struggling form down a hallway.

He slides the door open, before roughly forcing her inside the unknown room. She didn't expect him to let go of her. Tamayo collapsed onto her hands and knees, panting heavily, as Muzan slammed the door shut behind him. His eyes never leaving her form.

" It seems I was far too lenient with your recent behavior. I was foolish for entertaining the idea, that you'll accept your place in life," he begins coldly.

" You are nothing but a pawn," he stated firmly, before continuing with," Don't think for a second, you'll ever be free from me! Not even in death!"

Tamayo looked up at him, with a glare sharper than any sword, as she wipes away the lace of blood from her forehead with her sleeve.

" You are forbidden from leaving this room, and after you give birth, you will be severely punished,"

With that promise of cruelty, he leaves her alone in a new cage. One of darkness and no comforts. She immediately threw herself at where she knew the door was, banging and kicking it with all her strength.

She screams and roars curses, she knew would hang her parent's heads in shame. Muzan had dragged her down to such a level, to the point that she didn't fear the consequences.

At this point, she was already doomed to his brutality.

Why not kick and scream on her way down?

Tamayo rubbed her fingertips on freshly healed knuckles, occasionally pilling away a sheet of dry blood, before tossing it away from her. She had assaulted the door until her hands grew numb, and stiff. She laid down onto her side, with her ear pressed up against the floor, and her eyes closed.

She refused to eat, and move around in her cage, much to Muzan's annoyance. He would visit her, scolding her for her childishness, before offering her the opportunity to soften her approaching punishment. She would remain silent, waiting patiently for his overwhelming and vile presence, to leave once again.

And she would continue to leave, the large vessels of blood he would bring her, untouched and wasted while remaining on her side.

Muzan had enough of her attitude and actions.

He had reached the same conclusion that she had from the beginning. The child was developing from the energy her body had stored from her last kill, which has been a long time ago.

Which would lead to very undesirable results for Muzan. If this continues, both Tamayo and the child will die.

He appeared out of nowhere; the only warning Tamayo was given, in her weak state, was the aroma of death. She slowly and reluctantly looks over her shoulder at him. He was looking down at her, with a calm expression.

He was on top of her, before she knew it, pinning her hands firmly above her head. He waits patiently, with mild annoyance, until Tamayo stopped trying to pull away from him.

" You've forced my hand. Since you won't act like an adult, I'll treat you like a child,"

His face grew closer to hers, as his other hand took hold of her face, before his thumb and pointer finger digs into her cheeks. Her mouth was pried open, before his mouth was almost slammed into hers.

Tamayo choked and gagged, as the liquid remains of his kill, was forced down her throat. She winced when the occasional nail or tooth made its painful descent to her stomach. A string of ruby connected their lips, when he finally pulled away, while letting go of her.

" Even when you waddle in your irrational despair, unable to comprehend all I've given you. You won't escape your duties to me,"

Tamayo prompted herself onto her knees, as she placed a hand on her belly, swollen with the flesh and lingering woes of the dead. Their screams, tears, and curses etched into their essence of life.

Burning her.

She let out a wavering and heated exhale, before sucking in mouthfuls of air, in an urgent attempt to ease the burning in her throat and stomach. Her vision became distorted with her tears.

' I hate you' she hollered at him, from the shelter of her mind, upon hearing his disappointed sigh.

" And look where your meaningless hatred has carried you," he teases cruelly, before adding," To such unimaginable depths,"

She glared at his shadow, as it leaves her spotted vision, before the light from the hallway was dragged away.

Tamayo's hands rubbed and clawed at her burning throat.

She needs help.

She needs help!

The memories of her beloved family, slipped through her outstretched fingers, when she was dragged back into reality by a cruel affliction. It hit her in the form of waves that increase in their intensity, focusing on her lower regions, before spreading out like a raging fire. Tamayo had taken on both the role of an expecting mother and midwife. Birth wasn't beautiful in the moment, since a lot of things can go wrong.

A woman alone, during the most vulnerable moments of her life, was damned to die.

And now Tamayo was said woman.

She sent a wave of malicious curses at Muzan for putting her in such a situation. He was the only one who could keep track of the baby's progress. He should have considered the aid of midwives, especially if he values the life of his child.

Her teeth sunk into the flesh of her lower lip, causing blood to ooze up around her teeth, as another contraction ravished her body. She let out of raspy wail and groan, when she felt a twinge of pain within her, as her unborn child descended, adding more pressure on her already aching womanhood.

The intense spasms of her muscles sucked the energy from her being. Her hair and skin became wet with sweat. Out of irritation, she rips away each layer of clothing, before tossing it aside and resting on her side. She continued to release a twisted melody of low groans and sharp gasps. She had no access to time nor help. All she could do is work with her body's natural urges.

An inhuman holler was rip from her throat, while her body rocks through the agony, before she throws her head back, as the baby lowers once more. Her scream transforms into a sharp gasp, as the sound of something wet hitting the floor reaches her ears. The fresh scent of body fluids reached her nose, like a slap to a face, causing her body to go into overdrive.

She could feel the baby's head painfully dilating her canal, as streams of blood started to branch out down her thighs. She could smell her sweat long, before it had blossomed from her skin.

She takes in a few deep breaths, before forcing her aching and heavy body to squat. She starts to push along with the almost unbearable episodes of contractions. It felt like she was being ripped into two, but she knew she couldn't stop. The baby was within reach, their head peeking through Tamayo's stretched opening. Her fingers made contact with their head, as she prepared herself to catch the child upon their arrival.

One final push.

One final push!

She squeezed her eyes shut, as she started to push, with a loud cry of inherit suffering. And with that final shout, that could put a bellowing lion to shame, the stabbing pain in her loins subsides, and her heart swells with tear inducing relief.

Falling onto her shins, she panted heavily, while sweet sounds ascended to her exhausted ears.

His child.

Her child.

Squirming and stretching, in the genesis of their freedom, from the confines of Tamayo's womb. They called out for the affection of Tamayo's gaze, and for the milk from her swollen breasts.

To hear her voice outside of the cage of hatred and despair.

Tamayo brought the talkative newborn to her stomach, before her arms became unmovable from exhaustion. She could feel her body starting to accept the fresh wave of intense hormones in her blood. Her body immediately started the task of cleansing itself.

Tamayo could only let out a shaky sigh, as she laid down on her back, surprised by the slightly diminish soreness, that had once been engraved into every fiber of her being. Her eyes grew wet from her accomplishment, as her heart swelled with various emotions, some of which had started to challenge her motherly instincts.

Clean the baby.

Warm up the baby.

Feed the baby.

Love the baby.

Abandon the baby.

She wasn't shocked by the invasive thought, that tempted her. The child was a demon, build on the strong foundation of his vile seed. The child was damn from the very start, and she, was partially to blame. The child wiggled in distress, before letting out a short wavering cry of hunger, that was followed by a few quick gasps. Tamayo's body jerked, when she felt the child try to suckle from the skin of her belly, with heartbreaking desperation.

This child...needed her, just like her other children. Tears continue to flow, as the child continue to search. A moment passed by, before a wail started to bud within the newborn's chest. She, without thinking, brought the child to her breast while sitting up. She embraced the newborn, as she quickly and greedily started to feed. Tamayo's thumb strokes the baby's head, as her body sways from front to back.

She prayed for strength.

She prayed for mercy.

She prayed for forgiveness.

Tamayo woke up from the sound of her cage being leisurely open. Her eyes opened to her room, now bathed in a warm and rich light. Her gaze falls onto the little sweet face of her child. The light from the hallway, made the newborn appear angelic. Tamayo focused primarily on the peacefully sleeping newborn. The little one cooed softly, while nuzzling up against her chest.

A pale hand ruins the heavenly moment, resting It's knuckles on the baby's chubby cheeks, earning an undeserving melody of cooing. Blood violently races throughout Tamayo's body, as the hand shifts and moves gently underneath the baby's head, while another hand appears.

Fully intending on taking her away.

Nails elongated into deadly points, as veins thicken at the thought of violence.

" Tamayo," her name rolled off Muzan's tongue, as a warning rather than a greeting.

Tangled ribbons of black, slip over nude and soiled shoulders, as Tamayo moved her head.

" Muzan," Tamayo utters in a hoarse whisper.

There was a moment of silence between the two, before the newborn caught in the middle of their forms, yawns and squirms about.

Red orbs lowered and inspected the child, whom was no more than a few hours old.

" She arrived earlier than I expected," he murmurs to himself, while stroking his daughter's cheek.

" Where were you," Tamayo inquires in a tone, that wasn't as demanding, as she would have like.

The immediate response was a raised brow.

" I could have died," she adds, her voice lace with a slight unpleasant rasp, before gesturing towards their daughter," She could have died,"

Muzan's gaze finally snaps onto Tamayo, and she unconsciously flinches, at the sharpness of the glowing orbs of hell.

" Don't be so foolish," he scolded in a low tone, before continuing with," Neither of you are weak and fragile,"

Tamayo watches with wide eyes, as Muzan severs the connection between her and their daughter. He straightens up, with their daughter now in his arms.

" Wait!"

The plead leaves her lips, before she could stop it. Her mind had gone into an irrational state of panic, when Muzan started to turn his body away from her.

" Please!"

Muzan's body, to her surprise, stops at the threshold," Please what?"

" Don't take her away from me," her words almost tripping over one another.

" Do you know how I knew you had successfully delivered my daughter?"

Tamayo didn't respond, but in her heart, she knew what the answer was. One that made her chest ache.

Her thoughts.

" Yes," he confirmed smoothly," When I arrived, every single one of your thoughts reached me,"

" I'm sorry! I'll be good! I'll do anything you'll order me to," Her shouts end in a heavy gasp.

" Just please don't take her away from me," she begs weakly.

" Color me impressed. You sound quite convincing,"

Tamayo's shoulders drop, as he crosses the threshold, and enters the hallway.

" Go get cleaned up," he orders," When you're done, you'll receive your punishment,"

Muzan was gone before she could argue. Tamayo squeeze her eyelids shut, out of frustration, but she doesn't dare act on it. She eventually got up to her sore and swollen feet, swaying from side to side briefly, before regaining her foundation.

She was exhausted, but she had to get up. Her body was soiled by various fluids, and her heart was heavy with sorrow.

She hoped he'll be merciful.

Tamayo's movements were both slow and unwilling, however it wasn't due to any pain or soreness. The bath, paired with the sweet-smelling oils, had given her body comfort. Her arms were wrapped around her midsection, as she walked down the hallway. Her footsteps faltered, when she heard her daughter's voice. She slides the door, leading to the verandah open, before stepping outside.

Muzan was currently listening to their daughter's cooing and babbling. She reluctantly walked around the right side of his chair, before stopping in front of him.

She swallowed her fears and pride, before she kneels down. A moment passed, before he finally spoke, his voice smooth like velvet, but cold as a corpse.

" I'm sure you haven't forgotten how to properly greet your Lord,"

Tamayo emits a sigh, while prostrating herself in an unwilling display of submission.

" Lord Muzan," she greets, as politely as she possibly could.

The silence that followed immediately sent shivers throughout her body, before the realization hit her.

Truly, nothing will please him.

She hears him shift in his seat.

" I don't recall giving you permission to speak. You, pressing your pretty little face into the ground, was enough. I've had enough of your voice," he pauses, before muttering with annoyance,"...and your thoughts,"

Tamayo's fangs sunk into her bottom lip.

Don't say a word, and don't utter a single thought.

Don't say a word, and don't utter a single thought.

Don't say a word, and don't utter a single-

" You are unfit to be a mother," he begins bluntly, completely uncaring about how his words would affect her. Especially, after such an emotional and physical ordeal.

" I'm sure you can understand how unacceptable your behavior has been," Muzan utters, while gently swaying their newborn in his arms, when a soft yawn reaches their ears.

Tamayo's frown shifts into a snarl. A sense of relief flowed through her, due to her face being hidden. She knew she was safe from any additional punishments. Her form tenses up, when the heel of his foot, rests firmly on her head.

" So, until I decide otherwise, she will remain in my care. All feedings will be supervised,"

The foot gives her a harsh nudge.

" Do you understand, Tamayo?" He inquires.

" I understand, Lord Muzan," she forces out.

" Good," he emitted softly, while removing his foot from her head, before ordering," Look at me,"

Tamayo rose her head, before allowing her eyes to continue the rest of the journey. If he was pleased by her obedience, he didn't express it. He turns his attention towards their now sleeping daughter's face.

" I was going to allow you to taste the agony of the first light of the morning," he begins in the same soft tone as before," But I fear I won't be satisfied,"

He gives her a moment to digest his words, before continuing with," I believe fifty lashes will be a decent start,"

' Decent start ' Tamayo repeated meekly and gravely in her head, before she could stop herself.

Muzan stood up from his seat, as one of his arms shifted and extended. Tamayo watched, as his pale skin turns into a sickening red and nauseating pink. At the end of the whip, was a blade made out of his own bone. Moonlight traveled along the sharp edge of the blade.

" Stand up, and undress yourself, before turning your back to me," he orders.

Tamayo reluctantly obeys. With firmly pressed eyelids, she strips herself of her clothes, before allowing them to fall to the ground. She slowly turns her body until her back was facing him.

" I expect you to count them. Any loud scream will earn you an additional twenty, do you understand?"

" Yes, Lord Muzan,"

" Let's begin,"

The assault was immediate, not even waiting for the final syllable to leave his lips. His bone digs deeply into the flesh of her shoulder, before being cruelly drag down. Tamayo's mouth opened, with the intention to let out a scream, however she quickly gains control, and digs her nails into her forearms.

" One," her voice shuddered, as she braces herself for the next blow.

Muzan's words were absolute.

Firm and unbreakable.

Nothing had the power to undo or change them. So, when Muzan had decided to supervise, what little time he had granted her, to be with her daughter. She knew she couldn't stop it, no matter how much she begged.

Each time, she held and fed her daughter, was a greeting.

Tamayo wasn't sure if she...knew her. In order to ease her mind, she assumed the only reason why the infant willingly leaves Muzan's arms, is because she can smell what's being constructed in her breast. She wasn't sure what Muzan feeds her, when he has her under his care. That was one of many questions, Tamayo didn't want the answer to.

While she favored Muzan's features in many ways, Tamayo was thankful for the few characteristics she gained from her, such as her hair and nose.

Her eyes were still a mystery.

It wasn't until a whole month past, in a darken room filled with the sounds of a feeding infant, that a pair of eyes finally open. It was a slow process, however the lack of light, may have made it easier on her. She chewed softly on her squishy hands, as her eyes immediately locked onto Tamayo's face.

Her eyes held a dark red ring around her pupils, like her father's, however instead of having that pink to bleed into the rim of her Irises. There was a calm and elegant purple there.

" Hey,"

The word leaves Tamayo's mouth, on the back of a long exhale, that shifted into a short chuckle of relief. A familiar and unwanted sense flooded her being, and she quickly snaps her head to the right to see Muzan slowly approaching them.

He was becoming frustrated. His attempts at locating his deliverance were all failures. None of the demons, he had created, had successfully found it. When he entertains the thought to ask a human, no one had the answers he wanted, which ended in death.

No one knew anything about it, and he would punish her for the failure of others, even though his daughter was within arm's length. She unwillingly lowered her, to the blanket, when she saw those eyes. She could only prepare herself, and fruitlessly hope...

... for her freedom.

I'm aware demons can't reproduce. However, the idea of Muzan having a child with one of his demons, was something that I thought would be interesting. In this case the demon is Tamayo, considering what happen in the canon story. Thank you for reading. I'm very sorry for the mistakes I missed. I will fix them later.
