He was standing there, shifting from leg to leg, wondering when something would happen.
Reasonably, he knew it would be best if nothing bad happened, but he couldn’t help but want to go home.
Looking to his right, he saw multiple people with their phones out, not unusual when something like this happens but it’s Canada, there won’t be much happening to record.
He decided to pretend to be on his phone, as some people were pointing their phones at him, and he didn’t want any more conversations on this already horrible night. It was cold and he didn’t want to be here.
One of them started to walk towards him saying something about ‘Nike cop’ not wanting to get caught up in this tomfoolery. He wondered who was Nike cop, as he looked down, then, he realized, he was Nike cop! That was very surprising…
He didn’t think wearing a Nike sweatshirt would cause this much commotion. But that didn’t matter at this moment, as the sun was going down and the tear gas was going off in the house.
He wondered why people were still there, as the tear gas had definitely spreaded enough to smell it.
They had been outside this house for a while, and thankfully some people had left from the crowd, but there was still some more people.
They were talking about a dude named Brandon, and then they called him over by the name Nike cop.
He came over and said hi, laughing about being on a live and being called ‘Nike cop’. Still very surprised that people were there for around two hours even though they didn’t need to be there. They could just leave! Unlike him.
Thankfully people weren’t crossing the police tape, and yet he still had to be here, at this standoff and listening to Karen’s yelling about who knows what.
He then decided that Brandon is a good name for the dude in there. As he had nothing else to do, but stand here.
Finally, something happened, they broke the window and he is running. Everything just happened at once.
Apparently they are a family, and there is some talk about adult with a mashette. He was running because when they broke the window Brandon ran.
He wished he could arrest these guys, as they are really annoying but alas, that is not how it works.
Oh finally, he is able to leave now!
