Work Text:

— I'm so tired of Cat, she's picking on me because I was late on Monday, urgh — Kara mumbles as she eats her burger.

— Cat can be a little difficult to deal with. — I laugh. — And even more so when you have to leave in the middle of the day to save the world.

— Yes, she is really difficult. — Kara sighs and leans back on the chair tiredly.

— So, will you be able to participate in Girls' Saturday this time? — I ask like someone who doesn't want anything.

- I don't know, Liz, the city is busy. — Kara speaks again, making up an excuse.

— Kar, I know you feel guilty about what happened, but it wasn't your fault, you have to understand that sometimes things like this happen. — I speak trying to make her understand.

— The last time I relaxed you got hurt and I won't let that happen again — Her look was serious, as if it were a promise she would never break.

— And if you go to girls' night, you can protect me — I keep trying to convince her

— Okay, I'll go — Kara finally gives in

— Aee, I promise you won't regret it — I'll send a message to the girls — I've even sent a message to the girls.

— Do you think they will? Maybe they're busy — Kara with her usual insecurity.

— Nia and Lena said they were going and Alex said he didn't want to be traumatized again — I laugh after remembering the girls' last night.

—What happened last time? — She looks at me confused.

— Well, we had a little drink and ended up playing striper poker — I laugh just remembering.

—Wait, seriously? Did Nia participate?! — The shock on her face was iconic.

— Yes — I started laughing even more at her surprised expression — And she was the first to lose, Nia is terrible at card games.

— I can't even imagine — Kara just goes back to eating the burger.

— I wouldn't have been able to do it either if I hadn't seen it. — I look at my phone and see that I had to go back to work — See you at her apartment at 10:30 pm

— Okay — Kara gets up and gives me a hug and we say goodbye

[...]

I was in the taxi heading towards Kara's house, I was nervous and if Lena proposed that we play stripper poker again, last time I could barely hide my attraction to Nia, but she was so drunk that she barely noticed, I mean, Nia was quite insecure about herself, that was obvious, not so obvious but when you spend 99% of the time watching her you notice that, so even if she didn't

I notice that the taxi has stopped, I look out the window and see that I have reached my destination, I take the money out of my pocket and hand it to the taxi driver and get out of the car with a little difficulty due to the bags of drinks.

— Hey, let me help you with this — She takes one of the bags from my hand — Isn't that a lot?

— Nah, Lena is a pure alcoholic capable of drinking all that alone — I joke and enter the apartment, placing the bags on the counter — And some are for both of us since we don't get drunk with normal drinks

— Sometimes I forget that you're an alien just like me — Kara says taking the drinks out of the bags

— Sometimes I forget that you're an alien just like me — Kara says taking the drinks out of the bags

— A maltae baby. — I speak while helping to arrange the drinks.

— Well... — Before Kara was able to finish the sentence, we heard knocking on the door — It must be the girls

— The devil and the little angel have arrived — I say when using my x-ray vision on the door

Kara opens it and the girls enter, Nia was carrying a bag with some snacks, while Lena had a detective box and a deck of cards.

— And that deck, Lena? — I point to the deck in his hand.

—Any problems with him? — Lena replied, arching her eyebrow.

— Not this time — We stared at each other for a few seconds until we heard a noise and saw that Kara had fallen.

— Blonde who is a mix of Adrien and Marinette — I say laughing at her fall

— Wait Adrien? — Kara looks at me confused — I know I fall all the time like Marinette but I don't understand why I look like Adrien

—It had to be blonde — Nia and I said at the same time then we started laughing

The conversation didn't last long, Kara and Nia started putting drinks in the fridge and Lena and I went to set up the board in the living room.

— Last time you made us play strip poker to try to get me and Nia together, but I know that this time that's not your intention Luthor — I say with a mischievous smile on my face

— Well you got me — Lena laughs and puts the dolls in their place

— You want to see Kara naked, admit it — I tease her

— Okay, you're right — Lena confesses with a red blush on her cheeks.

— I knew! — I laugh at your embarrassment

— Hey, what are you laughing at? — Nia says when she appears in the room

— Just me bragging that I'm going to beat Lena at poker today — It wasn't a lie, but it wasn't the reason I was laughing

— You can keep dreaming, Miss Elizabeth — Lena speaks in a competitive tone

— mimimimi — I show my tongue to Lena

— Very mature of you, Liz — Kara says as she appears in the room holding a tray with drinks

— You're the last possible person to talk about maturity, Kara — I mock her and Lena and Nia agree, laughing
