Hunk and lance were walking around the market. They were getting things that the ship needed. Lance was happy because he finally got to get off that castle! It feels like a cage sometimes. Everyone always says he’s annoying and it feels like no one cares about him. He sometimes thinks, no there's no way they all love me , but he still feels like no one cares.
“Alrighty.” Hunk says as he lifts the big bag of things they got,”time to get back to the castle”
“Ok man lets gooo”
ughh. Lance doesn't want to go back. It feels like they just left.He just wants a few more minutes! Maybee
“Hunk buddy it seems like I left my…” Lance looks around and says the first thing he sees,”hat!”
Hunk looks at him confused,”but you don't wear hats?”
“I uh do because I bought it! and forgot to pick it up after” Lance nervously chuckles."silly me! so i'm gonna go get it brb!”
Lance sprints away leaving a confused hunk
“Weird” Hunk says and he walks to the castle

Lance knows it's kinda weird doing this but he thinks if someone was in a cage and was let out for a bit but then had to go back they'd want to stay out of their cage. And to lance the castle was a cage so he starts to think he's a bit justified.
He walks over to the alien bathrooms and walks inside.
Ughhhhhhhhhhhh! I feel soo bad for not wanting to be there! I mean their friends and I love them. So I shouldn't treat them this way just because I'm a little sad. And it is true all those things they say about me. I am annoying. And stupid. But just because it's true does not change the fact it still hurts
Lance looks in the mirror and to no surprise he's crying. He wipes his tears and turns around and sees a guy behind him which makes him jolt
“Oh sorry about that. Didn't mean to scare you.” the man laughs." I just wanted to see if you're alright. You were crying”
Oh he just concerned about him
”im fine just um” Lance starts crying. He can't do this. Man why is he so emotional today
“If you want to talk we can. Just let it all out” the man says and that seems to be his breaking point for lance because he tells him everything. About his insecurities. About his team. About everything he cried too. A lot. And the man listened. And comforted him. It felt nice. Someone caring about him.
“Here,” the man takes out a cookie,”take this. I hope this helps with the problems you have” the man offers a smile and walk away
What a nice man!
Lance walks out the bathroom and towards the ship. Maybe it won't be so bad now that he has let his feelings out.
He looks down at the cookie and takes a bite
Wow! This cookie is amazing!
He eat the whole thing right then and there

He walks in the castle and goes where everyone is, which is the table.
“Hello did you miss me” he says with a smirk but it seems no one did miss him from the groans that he hears
Everyone gives their greetings to him and he sits down to eat his goo. He sits there listening to everyones conversations. He's content right now. At least they're happy.
“Hey lance did you get that hat of yours” Hunk says
Oh Lance had forgotten about that
“No”
Huh?!he didn't mean to say that
“Huh but you said you bought a hat” hunk said curiously
“I lied” Lance slammed his mouth shut. What is going on!
“I-i didn't mean to say that” lance is starting to panic. What's happening
Allura and Coran started whispering and then Coran turned to Lance,“Lance ..have you eaten anything that had green spots?”
Huh now that he think of it his cookie had green spots
“Uhh yeah is that..bad?
Coran looked worried,”it's a plant. It will make you tell the truth for a short time. It is very hard to get”
Now Lance is really panicking. He has a lot of secrets he doesn't want spilled. First his sadness he doesn't want them to worry about him. Second he kinda has a little crush and does not want him to find out
“What was it that you ate?” Allura asks
“Uh a cookie” and man! that cookie was so good
“Does it have something it came in?” Allura asks
“Yeah uhh,” Lance gets it out of his pocket and walks over to Allura.” here”
Allura inspects it for a bit before touching the bride of her nose
“Lance did you know there was a note in here”
A note?
“A note?Let me see” lance says as he takes it out of Alluras hand

“Lance, this is very troublesome for us! If someone catches you all our secrets could be spilled!”
“Yeah lance..” Hunk says
“Well, It wears off between a day and a week!! So…it could be over soon” Lance cant believe hes caused more problems for them
”yeah could’! Ugh you're such an idiot! Why can't you take anything seriously? ever!” Allura yells
Shiro nods his head,“She's not wrong lance. You could try to be more responsible” more responsible? He tries his best. No one understands because no one bothers to care. No one.
Lance looks down,“Sorry..”
“Sorry” isn't enough Lance! We could be in big trouble” pidge says
“I'll just..try not to talk ok? So can I go to bed now?” lance says
“Fine.” Allura says and lance feels like this isn't the end of the discussion
“Goodnight” lance says to everyone and walks away to his room
