Nishinoya Yuu was known to everyone as a loud and wild person. He's excitable, always hopping around with a big smile on his face and hype up the places wherever he goes making everyone wanted to befriend him. His world always seem to be colourful being surrounded by people so not many knows that his own view of his world is black and white. 

Nishinoya knew the sky is blue, the floorboard of the gym is brown, his Karasuno volleyball uniform is orange , the Mikasa volleyball is yellow and blue but he never knew what they actually look like. Everything was just black, white and different shades of grey. That was his norm. He thought nothing was wrong until he learn about soulmates in elementary school. He learn of soulmarks and how there's different varieties of it. Some appear later when you come of age and some was there since birth. He was one of them, he got a soulmate! He'll see colours once he met his soulmate. The idea excites him, a soulmate that he was destined to meet and that will entirely change his world, filling it with the colours that people love talking about. He wanted to see the orange of his Karasuno volleyball uniform that his underclassman said he look cool in, the light blue of the Garigari-kun popsicles he love so much, the yellow of his bleached hair but most of all, he wanted to see the colours of his soulmate. 

He became enamoured to tales about soulmates. How others meet their soulmate, what kind of soulmate marking they got, how each of them end up together. He always been big on fate and destiny, they would say he is a huge hopeless romantic so learning about soulmates became a huge boost to his interest on destiny. He become even more outgoing and started going out to explore new places to increase the chance of meeting his soulmate. When will he meet them? Will they be pretty? Will they be handsome? Are they tall or short? Will they love volleyball? The possibility is endless! 

Nishinoya finally met his soulmate in the spring of his 2nd year of high school. 

It was an unexpected meeting, Nishinoya didn't have to go somewhere purposefully, he didn't even think about meeting his soulmate. It was a fateful meeting though the timing was quite something.

His soulmate was dressed in red. His soulmate is the talented libero for Nekoma High.

Yaku Morisuke

The moment Nishinoya make eye contact with Yaku, colours immediately invaded his world. Everything became so vibrant that it was overwhelming but Yaku's presence was there to keep him grounded. His dark brown eyes bring in a wave of calm and his sandy brown hair made him felt comfortable. The colours on Yaku make him feel everything will be alright. 

"Is that...red...?" Nishinoya muttered. 

"Yea, they're all in red..." Sugawara chuckled before he paused and eyes widen in surprised as he turned to Nishinoya who was frozen on where he stand. Sugawara who look more excited than Nishinoya and keep fumbling his words. "Wait....Noya! Are they... Nekoma...you met ....no way... Is one of them your soulmate? " 

Nishinoya nodded still ultimately stunned. He always imagine this meeting, always fantasize how he would charm his soulmate but now that it is happening, he don't know what to do. He started panicking. "Suga! what...what should I do? Should I say something? I should introduce myself right? But...but he's too bright, Suga! He look so cool! I don't know how to face him!" 

It's the first time the Karasuno team see Nishinoya trembling in both panic and excitement, he don't even react like this when facing Kiyoko. The third years couldn't help but chuckle softly at his reaction and reassure him though the second years and Hinata were bursting with energy, congratulating Nishinoya and excited for him. Kageyama, Tsukishima and Yamaguchi quietly congratulate Nishinoya when everyone calmed down. 

Nishinoya look back to Yaku who offered a huge smile which make Nishinoya's heart skip a beat. His mouth open and close, unsure how to start but Yaku was able to calm his loud beating heart. 

"Let's talk after the match, ok?" 

God, his voice is so cool too.

Right, their practice match.

Nishinoya nodded vigorously before both turned back to their respective team. As much as Nishinoya wanted to talk to Yaku right at the second, they got a practice match to focus on first so he hold back and waited until they finished up the match. 

He completely forgot about the soulmate thing after getting blown away by Yaku's libero skill. He only remembered when he received a text from his soulmate. Nishinoya's face turned red in embarrassment remembering how he just compliment Yaku and run off when they were cleaning up the gym completely forgetting that they were supposed to talk afterwards. That was such a bad first impression. 

Nishinoya texted back asking if he's free to call and immediately did once he received the ok. 

"Hello?"

"Hello!! Hey! Ah... Sorry !! I didn't mean to rush off!" Nishinoya immediately responded and he received an amused chuckle from Yaku which only make Nishinoya's face grew even hotter.

"It's alright, we did play until very late and you guys had to catch the train..." Yaku paused. "You're a great libero by the way..."

"No way! I still have a long way to go! You dig and received a lot of of our team's spikes and also received our ace's spike so cleanly, not everyone can do that you know? It's was amazing, you're amazing." 

"Says the Karasuno's guardian deity." 

"Hah!? Where...name...how....you?" Nishinoya's breath hitched hearing that nickname out of Yaku's mouth. He was definitely flatter for sure but this felt different from when Hinata was, he actually feeling very shy about it. His heart continue drumming like it's on a parade as he wonder where Yaku heard it from so soon but then he gasp in realization. "....Sugawara."

Yaku only chuckled at that. "Yea, he talk to me about you and gave me your number...after you run off."

"Probably to make sure you don't think I'm weird." Nishinoya shrugged. 

Yaku only hummed in reply. "I appreciate Sugawara's sentiment but at the same time, I want to hear more about you from you yourself so...want to get to know more about each other right now ?"

"Oh, yea...YEA! Absolutely!"

They talked until very late at night and one of them just pass out mid conversation. Nishinoya learned that Yaku's soulmarks was the red string of fate which manifested on his 16th birthday. He did wanted to follow the string but it wasn't tugging him somewhere which indicate that the soulmate was far and it's a good thing it stayed glowing which showed that the soulmate was alive. Yaku also pointed out how it make sense how vibrant the string glows because of how positive Nishinoya was. Nishinoya told him about his soulmark, how his world was black and white until he met Yaku and how he always imagined what colours look like when he met his soulmate.

"Were you disappointed?"

"No way! You're much much much more than what I've had imagine!"

They called and texted very often to the point that Nishinoya couldn't imagine a life without Yaku now. Their relationship may be a long distance relationship but they know they can make it work.

"Did you know the red string's glow would go dim when you feel sad?"

"Is that how you know to call me that day when we lost the preliminary?" 

It was when they lost to Aoba Johsai during the Interhigh Preliminaries. Nishinoya saw Yaku's message after he got home and it was their first time doing a video call. Nishinoya's hair was down and a mess with his eyes were bloodshot from crying but he doesn't care, he just wanted to see Yaku. Yaku didn't mind and had offered him a comforting smile, telling him he did his best and he'll definitely win next time. The call lasted the whole night, it was comforting but also made him miss seeing the boy. He never knew there would come a time where he wanted to hug someone so badly.

Fortunately, it wasn't long when he received news of a training camp in Tokyo. Nishinoya was bursting with energy hearing that he'll be seeing Yaku so soon. 

"Woo! Training camp with Nekoma so soon!" Nishinoya cheered with a jump.

"Someone excited to see his boyfriend!" Sugawara teased and Nishinoya's face start to flush as he stop jumping.

"We're not boyfriend!" Nishinoya paused thinking that the sentence doesn't feel rights and added. "....yet, we're still...getting to know each other!"

Wolf whistle and more hardcore teasing can be heard from the 2nd years making Nishinoya's face burn even more.

"Keyword yet."

"Don't start making out with him in the middle of the court Noya!" 

"Are you gonna sneak out at night and start making out?" 

"Better not, the coaches and other teams are there too!" 

Nishinoya only stomped and yelled at them to shut up but with how red his face was, it only made the 2nd years cackled even louder. It's not everyday you get to see Nishinoya get embarrassed like this. 

"As exciting as the training camp sounds..." Takeda sensei started and the air turned cold. "You guys remember we got exam before summer right...?" 

Everyone immediately quiet down.

"Right?" 

Tanaka and Nishinoya looked away while Kageyama and Hinata looked like their souls floated out. 

Takeda sensei only sighed. 

"Yuu, please tell me you're joking." 

"Morisuke-kun, I'm serious!" 

Yuu huffed and crossed his arms as Morisuke pressed his lips together, forming a thin line though a few laugh still slip out. Morisuke was excited knowing that Karasuno will be joining them in training camp this summer so when he come to face to face with a pale face Yuu during their daily video call. Morisuke had a suspicions something happen when the red string started to wobble frantically but now that he knew the real reason why Yuu was distress, it was kinda silly.

"I know, I know..." Morisuke chuckled, "Guess you'll have to do your best to pass."

"I will, I can do it." Yuu look up with a determined expression, the same as when he was on court ready to receive a serve. "I'll pass my exam and see you at the training camp." 

It caught Morisuke off guard and painted the Nekoma's libero cheek pink. It reminded him of the day when they first met. "I know you can do it." 

Yuu grinned big as his heart skip a beat. Having Morisuke believe in him filled him with happiness to a brim. It always felt nice knowing your friends believe in you but with Morisuke, his soulmate, feel a thousand times better. 

"So erm.... Morisuke-kun, you are a third year in college prep class right?" Yuu fumbled with his hands and his eyes gaze down again.

"Yea?" Morisuke blinked and nodded and Yuu offered a sheepish grin.

"Do you think you can ...help me with my studies? Of course I'll ask Chikara for help but I think I'll need to work harder." 

Morisuke wouldn't say he is the best in academic but he is in class 5, a college prep class, besides he can't say no when Yuu is looking at him with that big brown eyes of his and he's even cuter with his hair down.

"...Sure, why not? But be ready, I'll be very strict on you." 

Yuu was able to pass his exam though barely pass but it's still a pass and it's actually one of his best grade too! The moment he received his test back, he immediately snapped a picture and sent it to Morisuke. He had a huge grin all through the day and was giddy during the bus ride to the training camp. He immediately greeted Morisuke with a tight hug once he step out of the bus. Despite knowing the others would teased him non-stop, he didn't care, he's just so happy to see Morisuke. 

They decided to meet up after practice as volleyball was important to them right now and they both also promised to meet at National to make the legendary volleymatch, the Dumpster Battle, happened so both will work hard to fulfill that promise. Yuu quickly ran to find Morisuke once he was done doing extra practice with his teammates. 

"Morisuke-kun!" He called out when he spotted the familiar brown hair and immediately jump at him before the Nekoma Libero could fully turned to him. 

"Yuu!" Morisuke stumbled but fortunately didn't fall thanks to his steady footwork but now his arms is full with Yuu. Morisuke shot him a playful glare while Yuu only grinned in return, wrapping his arms and legs around Morisuke while the Nekoma libero only wrapped his arm around Yuu's waist protectively. 

"Nice receive." Yuu said while giggling. 

"That's dangerous you know." 

"But I know you'll catch me!" 

Morisuke only sighed and shook his head fondly. Both got to a more secluded area, just behind one of the gym. They both sat down with their hand intertwined and talk about anything and nothing. They sat close, shoulder touching as both blushed, feeling the temperature radiating from the others shoulder. They've waited months to be able to get this close. 

"Did you know that the colours I see can be affected by your emotions?" 

"Wait really?" 

"Mmhm, the world gets super vibrant when you're happy and get dull when you're sad." Yuu said with a smug grin. "That's how I know you're not mad at me from tackle hugging you just now." 

"Shut up..." 

Yuu giggled again seeing Morisuke's red cheeks. Before he knew it, he had already lean in and planted a kiss there. Morisuke turned to Yuu who was staring back with pink cheeks. His hand tighten around Morisuke's as he felt his heart beating like a mini drum. 

"I think...I fell in love with you." 

Morisuke's eyes widen in surprise and he move, placing his lips against Yuu's. It was soft and gentle then he pulled away slightly just to answer. "I think I fell in love with you too..." 

They kissed again, this time a little harder. Morisuke pushing Yuu down to the soft grass as Yuu wrapped his arms around Morisuke's neck, wanting him to be closer. They didn't separate for a long while, only did to breathe before leaning in to kiss again. Secret kisses became a thing to them during this training camp. They would slipped away after dinner and hid at the back of the gym. They held onto one another and kiss as if they're making up for the upcoming lost time. 

The last day of training camp is here and both of them sneak away again before they had to leave. Yuu giggling as he pulled Morisuke in for a kiss. Morisuke immediately melted though still pretty tense as it's bright out unlike the usual dark evening. 

"Yuu... they're going to come find you..." Morisuke muttered when they pulled away for air. 

"Five more minutes?" Yuu said breathlessly and Morisuke is weak when Yuu asked with that puppy eye look of his. 

"Ok..." And he lean in again. Both once again fallen to the grass ground with Yuu underneath Morisuke. They got so lost in each other and only snapped out of the trance when they heard the snap of a twig. It was already long past five minutes and unaware that the others are looking for them until now.

Morisuke's head snapped up and Yuu turned around to see only to see a red faced Kageyama. His mouth open and close before turning away and it started to get noisy. 

"Kageyama! Did you found Noya-san?" 

"Hinata you dumbass! Don't come over here! He's not here!" 

"Eeh? There's certainly something then!" 

"No there isn't!" 

"Hinata! Maybe we should listen to Kageyama?" 

Two more person popped out from the corner, it was Hinata and Yachi. Kageyama had tried to pushed them away from there but it was too late when their eyes landed on Morisuke and Yuu who obviously looked like they were making out before they got interrupted.

Both of the first year frozed as their gaze went from Morisuke then glanced down to Yuu who is under him then went up again to Morisuke who quickly got off from Yuu with his eyes looking at everywhere else but them. 

"Uh...hey?" Yuu chuckled awkwardly while sitting up from the grass. 

"EK!!! I'M SORRY!!" Yachi let out a loud scream and ran off with Hinata as Kageyama chased after them. 

Well....now everyone know they have been sneaking out.

Both quickly clean themselves up, dusting away the grass and dirt and making themselves presentable though the way their hair was a mess, rosy red cheeks and puffy red lips said otherwise. They took their time walking to the Karasuno's bus, wanting to stay with one another just a little longer. Yuu holding onto Morisuke's hand, swinging it as he hummed in glee while Morisuke just watched with a smile at his cheerful little boyfriend and at the bright glowing red string of fate that's coiled around linked hands. Morisuke pictk up a leaf that was in Yuu's hair and let out a soft sigh.

"I'm gonna miss you." 

Yuu's eyes widen in shock before his lips form a pout. "You can't just say that all of a sudden," Yuu gripped Morisuke's hand tighter. "I already miss you..."

Morisuke's heart skipped a beat as he squeezed Yuu's hand with his mind screaming how is Yuu getting cuter everyday. "We'll meet again soon... I'll call everyday and we can also find time to meet up." 

"Hmm... there's the Spring Qualifying round...on August and October...we definitely gotta meet up for Christmas! Our first Christmas together...." Yuu started talking happily, already excited to meet again and Morisuke nodded agreeing to what Yuu said. 

When they got to the bus, everyone was practically staring. Kuroo and Sugawara was grinning at them, Asahi look relief seeing them safe and there's Daichi who have a look of disapproval. The other Karasuno's members are already in the bus and most of them are watching from the inside while the other Nekoma's members are doing a bad jobs of sneaking for a peek as they stood around close by. 

"Nishinoya." Daichi warned

"Daichi! Sorry, I...well...we lost track of time." Yuu gulped, obviously scared of Daichi being mad as his hand slowly slide out from Morisuke's hand. If anyone see Morisuke reached out to grab Yuu's hand again, no they didn't. 

Daichi sighed heavily. Not that he doesn't understand Yuu's feelings, he did noticed how Yuu brighten up so much when he's with Morisuke, that's why he's just letting Yuu do whatever he want after practice but right now, they have a schedule to keep. "Is fine, just get in the bus, we need to get back before sun down." 

Yuu nodded as Daichi went in the bus along with Sugawara. Yuu took a step forward before glancing over his shoulder with a light wave. "I'll text you when I got back." 

"Sure...see you then..." Morisuke wave back with a smile but he was feeling heavy inside. He's going to miss having Yuu being close and the sight of their red string circling around them. He'll definitely going to miss feeling Yuu's warmth. 

Seeing that the colour of the world had become dull, Yuu stepped down from the bus's stairs, turning around to Morisuke and gave a deep kiss which he made a loud 'mwah' sound when he pulled away. Morisuke turned red and Yuu only grinned that million dollars smile. "A see you later kiss!" 

With that, Yuu quickly went up the bus and took his seat leaving a dumbstruck Morisuke who could only stare off lovingly. God, he love Yuu so much. 

"Somebody deep in love." Kuroo said in a sing song tone. A few snickers can be heard from the crowd making Morisuke blushed harder as he turned and glared at them. "Shut up! We gotta get going too, come on!" 

The world's colour turned instant dull on a day in the month of November for Yuu. He was at practice at the time when the colour turn greyish startling him. Morisuke had mentioned to Yuu that the Tokyo Representative play off is today and Yuu trusted that Morisuke will do well at the playoff. Morisuke was one of the most skilled libero he had ever met so Yuu knows he'll win but the sudden saturated view worried Yuu. He wanted to trust Morisuke as Morisuke had always been strong, so what could have shaken him so badly? The world was not even so saturated when Yuu had to leave Tokyo so what happened?

Yuu had texted Morisuke despite knowing he probably wouldn't reply instantly as he's in a match but Yuu was worried and his instinct had took over before he come to his senses. He ended up being very fidgety during practice which of course the his teammates notice instantly. He couldn't possibly show that he's worried after telling Ryuu and Shoyo to not worried about Nekoma but luckily for him, colours come back by the end of practice which gave him huge relief.

He was on his way home with his friends when Morisuke call him. 

"MORISUKE!!" Yuu answered immediately.

"Yuu! I saw your message, I want you to know I'm okay!" 

"Yea, I notice, the colours are bright again, what happened? Something serious must had happen if the colour turn so dull..." Yuu said while waving good bye to his friends.

"Oh it's nothing too serious..." Yuu could hear the nervousness from Morisuke's voice. "I hurt my ankle during a match but luckily Shibayama, the first year libero, step up and we won the match." 

"Oh! Congratulations! As expected of Morisuke's kouhai! How's your ankle though? Does it still hurt?" Yuu frowned as he walk down the street. He actually wished he's there with Morisuke right now.

"Nah, maybe a little but it doesn't hurt as much anymore." 

"Thats good..." Yuu said with a relief sigh. "I was so worried...I know that you can take care of yourself but...I would still get worried." 

"Yuu...I'm okay...you don't have to be so worried." Morisuke said, hoping it would comfort Yuu.

"I know now and I'm really glad." Yuu bite the bottom of his lips and then continued, wanting Morisuke to understand.  "I.... really really like you Morisuke so I'll always worry about you."

Morisuke flushed, hearts feeling warmed that someone would care about him so much. "I really really like you too Yuu, I really appreciate you." 

It was December and Morisuke had planned to visit Yuu in Miyagi to celebrate Christmas. Yuu had mentioned he can go up to Tokyo but Morisuke insisted. It's always been Yuu who come up to Tokyo and this year National would be held in Tokyo too.

"Besides, I do want to see the place you grew up in..." 

Yuu had vowed to make this Christmas date the best date ever. 

"Suga-san!!!" Yuu ran and hopped onto Sugawara's back startling the poor third year. 

"Nishinoya! You really gotta stop doing that!" Sugawara huffed and turned around once Yuu hop off his back. "What is it?" 

"I'm going to have a date with Morisuke-kun on Christmas and I need advice!" 

"Oh ok? Congrats? Why ask me?" Sugawara asked and Yuu tilted his head slightly in confusion.

"You're dating Seijoh's ace aren't you? So I thought you would have experience on dates..." 

Sugawara blushed immensely at that. "What?! Huh? How did you know?" 

"Is not like you're hiding it..." Yuu shrugged, recalling how Sugawara been on the phone more often and that one time he overheard Sugawara on call. "You have Christmas plans with Iwaizumi right?"

"Yea...but if you want experience... shouldn't you asked Daichi instead? He's been with Michimiya far longer than I've been with Hajime..."

"Suga-san, let's be honest with each other, I doubt they had make plans already..." Yuu said with a straight face making Sugawara laughed since it's true, Michimiya get so shy and Daichi is too dense at times. 

"Ok fair point, I think they'll only make plans a week before Christmas! Maybe I should give another push on Daichi." Sugawara chuckled. "Alright, what advice did you need?" 

"Well... Morisuke-kun gonna come over so that means I'm the one that had to show him around and I want to make it memorable since it's been months since I last saw him!" Yuu started and for once in a long while he let the corner of his lips droop. "This is the first year I would be spending Christmas with someone special in a colourful world...my world had always been black and white, I never knew where would be the prettiest to be and I don't want to disappoint Morisuke-kun..." 

"Nishinoya...you really love him huh?" 

Red dusted Yuu's cheek as he nodded. Sugawara couldn't help but to grin at the cute sight, despite being just a year older than Yuu, he couldn't help but to think how much Yuu had grown up. 

"Ok Nishinoya! We can plan together after practice!" 

"Suga-san! Thank you very much!" 

Stacks of magazines were flipped through and heavily labelled as Yuu drafted out the perfect Christmas date with Sugawara's help. He looked at the paper he had rewrote several times and felt extremely giddy about it, he could barely hide the huge grin on his face when he video call Morisuke. 

"Someone looking really excited, care to share it with your soulmate?" Morisuke teased as Yuu cover his mouth but his eyes still twinkled in excitement.

"Hehe, nope! It's a surprise, you'll have to wait till our Christmas date!"

"I'm not sure to be worried or excited for it seeing that it's you that plan it." Morisuke said, eyes does filled with questions about what Yuu had planned. 

"Why not both? Excited for the date and worried that I would become the superior boyfriend between us." Yuu answered with a cheeky grin making Morisuke rolled his eyes.

"Well then, superior boyfriend can do his own homework right?" 

"What? No! Morisuke-kun! You promised to help!"

Morisuke let Yuu beg him for another 10 minutes before finally helping him. ( He actually was about to give in in the first minute but a troubled Yuu was too cute ) 

It was the day of the date, Yuu reached the train station to pick up Morisuke. He hid behind the pillar and waited for his lover to reach, wanting to surprise him but there was a slight issue he forgotten. Yuu excitedly peek when he heard the train arrived, people started filling the station as he tried to spot for the familiar sandy brown colour of the Nekoma libero. 

"Huh... that's weird." Yuu muttered when he didn't saw Morisuke at all after everyone had got off the train. "Did he miss..." He was cut off just as his eyes were covered and the familiar voice was heard. 

"Yuu, guess who?" 

His breath was absolutely close to his ear making him blushed. God, he missed hearing Morisuke's voice so close. Yuu immediately turned around and hugged the boy.

"Morisuke-kun!!" 

"Yuu!" Morisuke didn't hesitate to hugged back and buried his face into the crook of Yuu's neck. 

Yuu was the one to pull away as he look up to Morisuke. "How did you find me? I was sure I hid pretty well." 

"Did you forget that my soulmark is red string of fate? You literally can't hide from me, the string will led me to you." Morisuke chuckled as he held onto Yuu's hand. His smiled widen as he watch the string curled around their arms. 

"That's... too convenient." Yuu pouted. "It's so unfair, I can't surprised you."

"Sure, sure." Morisuke chuckled. "You can still surprise me without hiding, Yuu, didn't you say you got big plan for today, wanting to show me who's the superior boyfriend here?"

Yuu perked up again and nodded. "Yea! Come on, we can't waste any more time!" 

Morisuke let Yuu easily dragged him out the train station to start the date. They went to have brunch first at a cafe where they tried the limited Christmas meals before Yuu showed Morisuke the places he like to hang out. It was something very simple of walking around the shopping district and to the arcade but they had a lot of fun. It made Yuu so happy seeing Morisuke listen to him attentively and seeing the sparkles in his eyes when he see something interesting. The highlight was possibly the anxious look on Morisuke when he saw Yuu climb a tree to get a kid's balloon. 

"Is this... really normally what you do?"

"I do climb trees a lot when I was little...but not usually!" Yuu answered but couldn't help but to giggle seeing Morisuke look unconvinced and worried. He grinned and give a hard pat to Morisuke's back. "You worried too much Morisuke." 

Morisuke only rolled his eyes and shook his head fondly. Being so reckless and active fit Yuu's image too well. 

"Ah! It's almost dark out! We got one last place to go Morisuke!" Yuu grabbed onto Morisuke's wrist and pulled him along. "Come on, come on!" 

They reached a park and because it's Christmas season, it's decorated beautifully with all the colourful festive light covering the park creating an illusion of winter wonderland. It's not as extravagant like what Morisuke had seen in Tokyo but it felt welcoming and ethereal like a small secret winter garden. 

"Every year this place is decorated for Christmas, I've heard it's a must see view and Suga-san suggested this place to me too when I asked for advice. I didn't find it interesting before because things always been grey to me." Yuu started as he held onto Morisuke's hand tightly and look to him with a rare soft smile. "But this year I got you..."

Yuu fully turned to Morisuke who was completely flustered at seeing Yuu's smile and held onto both his hands. "You didn't just brought colours to my world, you make things even more fun. "Yuu... that's...I didn't really..." Morisuke took a deep breathe to calm himself from stuttering more because of how flustered Yuu had made him. "That was unexpected...I was not expecting that..." His grip on Yuu's hand tighten as well as he smile. "You're...very sweet Yuu. You're brave and cheerful, you always seem to brighten up the room just by standing there...you made me try things I would never imagine and I too look forward to tomorrow after meeting you...I don't think you know how big you impact someone's life... you're amazing Yuu, you're very amazing and I love you so so much."

Yuu blushed bright red up to the tip of his ears. Hearing Morisuke told him his feelings out loud make his heart beat very fast and get so shy about it. He quickly look down to hide his now burning red face. "Wait...fuck, you're making me blush....give me a second..."

Morisuke who caught a glimpse of Yuu's red face had let go of Yuu's hand and held onto Yuu's cheeks to lift his face up for a better look. It's rare to see Yuu get so shy and it was so cute to Morisuke that he wanted to see more. 

"Morisuke-kun..." Yuu struggled but feeling Morisuke's hands on his cheeks he couldn't help but to comply. Seeing Yuu's cherry red cheeks along with a little pout and his furrowed brow makes Morisuke's heart squeeze. Morisuke felt happy that only he can get Yuu like this and he's the only one with the privilege to see troubled shy Yuu.

"Too cute..." Morisuke muttered. "You're too cute..." He pulled Yuu in for a kiss. Hands holding Yuu in place and he kissed him deeply. Yuu didn't hesitate to cling onto Morisuke, his hand gripping onto Morisuke's back tightly as his lips move with Morisuke. 

Morisuke missed the last train that day, fortunately they are in winter break so he wouldn't miss school. Yuu told Morisuke to stay the night at his home and got Morisuke very nervous because that means meeting Yuu's family and also spending all night with Yuu.

"Ah, just a little warning, my sisters are here for Christmas so it can be a little rowdy, it's best you prepare yourself." 

That was the only warning Morisuke got before stepping in the house.

The first one to spot them was Yuu's third sister, Akeno. She held the same sharp brown eyes as Yuu, along with the dark hair but instead of just a strand bleached, she had the inner of her hair dyed in pink. 

"Oh my gosh...OH MY GOSH!!" She screeched and started running back inside screaming. "SAKUA!! CHIYA!! YUU BROUGHT HIS BOYFRIEND BACK HOME AND HE'S CUTE!!" 

Morisuke blinked as Yuu groaned and covered his face when they heard loud rushed footsteps and shouts from inside the house. 

At least Morisuke could see that loudness runs in Yuu's family. 

Sakua was Yuu's eldest sister. Unlike Yuu, she have round brown eyes but Morisuke can see she held the same smile and confidence as Yuu. Her hair was long, wavy and dyed whole in light blue. Chiya however was quiet and radiate cool aura. She got her hair cut short with the tips bleached. Her quietness reminds Morisuke of Yuu when he's in court. 

The only difference Yuu and his sister's have is the height. His sisters are significantly taller than Yuu. 

"So you're the infamous Yaku Morisuke...Yuu never stop talking about you." Sakua said while Chiya only nodded agreeing, her eyes though staring right at Morisuke as if judging if he's right for Yuu.

"Hey, hey, Mori-chan? Can I call you that? Or you prefer Morichin?? Mori-mori?? We'll brainstorm on that!" Akeno started talking as she grab onto Yuu's shoulder and lightly shaking him. "So how much you love Yuu? Yuu is like our baby brother, our adorable little brother, I hope you understand that, I know you two are like soulmate and all and you look like a good kid but I still gotta make sure Yuu wouldn't get hurt because if you do hurt him, we'll come knocking on your door and make you pay and I'm pretty sure you and me don't want that." Akeno had hug onto Yuu, with her arm wrapped around his shoulder and gazing at Morisuke. 

"Ake-nee!" Yuu huffed. "Don't be rude to Morisuke!"

"Whaaat?" 

"That's not subtle at all Akeno." 

"We don't just say that in front of Yuu, Akeno." 

"Eeeeeh, but he'll know about it soon anyway." 

Morisuke watched the Nishinoya siblings bicker and chuckled. It's adorable watching Yuu being fess over and it warmed Morisuke's heart knowing that Yuu was so loved and cared for in the house. 

"I... really love Yuu..." Morisuke started, getting all their attention. "He made me happy. Whenever I see the bright glow from the red string, it comfort me and encourage me to keep going. I'm glad I've met Yuu and I felt even if there's no soulmark, no string attached to us, I would still be attracted to him and love him because he's just such an amazing person to fell in love with."

Morisuke started to feel embarrassed when nobody said anything for a while. "Of course, I promise to take good care of him so-" He was immediately cut off by the overwhelmed Nishinoya siblings.

"THAT WAS SO SWEET!!! WHAT??? YUU! YOU GOT SUCH A GOOD CATCH!!" Akeno said, full on bawling.

"You're a good person Yaku-san! I'm glad Yuu is in good hands." Sakua wipe away a stray tears as she smile big.

"I wish you two happiness." Chiya said as she clapped with a straight face though her eyes are glassy.

"Morisuke-kun!" Yuu got out of his sister's grip and grabbed onto Morisuke's shoulders with tears in his eyes. "You're so cool! I love you so so much!!! I'll make sure to take good care of you and give you all the happiness you deserve! If you ever need me I'll go to you, no matter where you are, I'll go to you , even if you're half a globe away! I'll be there for you!" 

Morisuke was stunned. How can someone just say something like that out loud? But then again, that's how Yuu is. Straightforward and genuine to those that's important to him. Morisuke smiled and held onto both Yuu's cheeks as he wipe away the stray tears with his thumb. "Me too Yuu, if you need me, I'm always just a call away." 

The Nishinoya's sisters giggles and awed at them making both get really shy. The five hung out at the living room with cakes and tv until late at night. Sakua helped set another futon in Yuu's room for Morisuke and it's lights out for everyone. 

"Morisuke-kun... Did you had fun today?" Yuu asked as he scooted closer to Morisuke while bundled up in his blanket. 

"I did...I had a lot of fun Yuu." Morisuke barely moved, heart actually beating fast that Yuu is so close on the futon with him. "You shouldn't be so close..." 

"Hm? Why not? I wanna be close, you're gonna go home tomorrow..." Yuu had already rolled so close where their face is only few inches away. "We'll only see each other again in January during the tournament..." 

"I know...I know that very well..." Morisuke said, his hand hesitantly reaches out to touch Yuu. "It's just... it's Christmas night... it's dark and... we're alone in your room...something could happen." Hearing the words outloud makes Morisuke felt even more embarrassed. Is he the only one thinking those thoughts right now? The moment the light was turned off, Morisuke realized he'll be alone with Yuu, so much could happen and yet Yuu's sisters doesn't seem to mind just letting him be alone with Yuu in his room and Yuu looked so calm right now. 

"...do you want something to happen...?" Yuu asked softly with his bright brown eyes focus hard on Morisuke. Morisuke licked his dry lips, a sudden nervousness washed him over. It doesn't help when Yuu look really pretty right now with his hair down framing his face, soft moonlight shining down from the window creating a halo on his hair and the blanket wrapped around him making him look smaller than usual. Morisuke couldn't help but wonder if Yuu know what could happen right now.

He reached out, hand on Yuu's shoulder and pushed him to lay on his back, pining Yuu down. "I do...." His hand slided from Yuu's shoulder, up his neck to his cheek as his thumb gently pressed on his lips. "Do you?" 

Yuu had these thoughts once in a while but tonight, he never thought this far. He only thought of staying close to Morisuke, maybe talk more or sleeping in his arm? They've kissed plentiful at the park and they only make out during the training camp, nothing too far, maybe touching the skin under the shirt but right now? Yuu's breath hitched when Morisuke got on top of him, he stop breathing when he felt Morisuke's finger graze against his neck and his heart start beating fast when he felt Morisuke put some pressure on his lips.

 How far does he want to go right now? How far can they go? 

"...Kiss me." Yuu muttered as one of his hand held onto the back of Morisuke's neck while other had grab onto the collar of the shirt. 

Morisuke gladly kissed Yuu. Unlike the playful kisses from training camp, this felt more sensual and desperate, like every kiss just make them want more. Yuu flinched when he felt Morisuke's cold hand against his stomach and his tongue had slide in when Yuu gasp. He can't help but shiver feeling Morisuke's hands touched across his chest and then settled at his side. 

"Cold..." Yuu murmured when Morisuke pulled away to kiss his neck. 

"And you're warm..." Morisuke muttered before nuzzling against his neck then plant more kisses.

"Yea...they always said my temperature are higher than others..." Yuu said, voice shaky as it felt tingley with how gentle Morisuke touch him and a moan escape when Morisuke bite a little too hard on his neck. "You're gonna leave a mark..."

"That's the point." Morisuke chuckled as he place more butterfly kisses along Yuu's jaw down back to his neck making Yuu squirmed. "You can leave your mark on me too..." 

"Oh...can I?" Yuu murmured. 

"Please." Morisuke stifle a moan when Yuu's mouth had latched on his neck and sucked. Yuu trailed kisses up to his face and pecked Morisuke's lips before giggling. 

"That...felt nice." Yuu whispered as he touched the mark he had left on Morisuke and he wanted leave more marks. "Can we continue...?"

Morisuke smiled then kissed him as a reply before pulling away. 

"Make sure to be not so loud, your sisters are at home." 

That's the warning Yuu get before Morisuke make another hard bite on him. 

"Nishinoya.... I'm guessing Christmas date went a little too well." 

Yuu's hand immediately clasped onto his neck as his face glowed red from being reminded of last night activities. He was able to cover the marks with his scarf when he walked Morisuke to the train station this morning, he completely forgot how he's going to cover them for volleyball practice, everyone could see him all marked up when he tried to change. Morisuke didn't held back at all and he's not complaining because he did find it hot. To be fair, he might have also left a lot of marks on Morisuke. They may not have gone all the way last night but they gotten a step closer. 

"You looked like you've been attacked..." Ennoshita said and grimaced.

"Noya! Don't tell me....you and Yaku fu-!?" Tanaka started and it's obvious he implying something R rated which Sawamura immediately caught on and shut him up before any of the first years heard him. 

"Tanaka shut! And Nishinoya...." Sawamura started and Yuu flinched at Sawamura's scary expression. He looks like he's about to go kill someone.

"WE DIDN'T! I swear!! We got a little carried away but we didn't go THAT FAR! We also know we gotta be fully prepared for THAT!!" Yuu blurted out, hands waving frantically. 

"What? Damn, I was ready to call up Yaku and give him the shovel talk." Sugawara said with a playful pout. 

"Eh?!" 

"I know you are old enough to take care of yourself Noya, but I would get a little worried...we don't want you to just rush in things but of course, it's not up to us to dictate how you guys go about with your relationship, just remember that we're here to support you whenever." Asahi said as the other two third year nodded. 

"Awww you guys!" Yuu jumped and hugged onto them. It felt nice to know they care and support him so much. "I love you guys!! I'll definitely invited you guys to our wedding!" 

"Wedding?!"

"Make sure we're in the VIP!" 

Sugawara tried his best to help Yuu covered the marks up with concealer but halfway through practice Kageyama and Yachi had been throwing looks of concern at Yuu which he tried his best to not notice. 

Finally it was the day of National. Both sides were busy preparing for their matches so they make a promise to focus on National first. Yuu was confident at the match against Tsubakihara Academy then for the first time in a long while felt scared during the match against Inarizaki but the encouragement from his friends and from Morisuke help him get through. He knew Morisuke was watching so he'll do his best to win so they can get to their fated match.

They won against Inarizaki and Yuu felt drained afterwards, he just wanted to snuggle up in bed right now and sleep until tomorrow. He did doze off on the bench when he was trying to change after the match, it's a good thing Sugawara woke him up. ( Only after Sugawara took a pic and send it to Morisuke but Yuu doesn't need to know that.) 

Yuu perked up when they saw Nekoma right outside the arena as they were leaving. Since they won against Inarizaki, tomorrow will be their match against Nekoma. The Dumpster Battle, a match that was finally going to happen after years. Yuu kept sneaking a peek at Sawamura, silently asking permission to talk to Morisuke and of course it was hard to not notice Yuu so Sawamura just sighed and nodded. 

"Five minutes." 

Yuu wasted no time running into Morisuke's arm who happily wrapped his arms around him. 

"Uwaah... Yaku-senpai really only soften up when it come to Nishinoya..." 

"It's kinda scary to see...soft demon senpai." 

Morisuke glared and huffed at his juniors who look away immediately. "Nothing to see here, just go, I'll catch up with you guys in a minute." 

There were sounds of protest but it all died down when Morisuke sent another scary glare. Yuu chuckled at the reaction then lifted his head up to look at his boyfriend and planted a kiss on his cheek which Morisuke returned by giving a kiss on Yuu's forehead.

"Morisuke-kun, how was your match today? It's a shame I wasn't able to watch." 

"It went well, there was no issue at all, Kenma really got our opponent wrapped around his fingers..." Morisuke chuckled. "What about you? We were able to catch only the last half of your match and you seemed troubled." 

"Oh..." Yuu huffed then groan before burying his face into Morisuke's shoulder. "You weren't supposed to see my uncool side!!" 

"Haha, which part of you is uncool?" Morisuke laughed and hugged his boyfriend tighter as he pat his head as a way of comfort.

"One where I keep failing my overhand receive...hmph" Yuu muttered with a pout. 

"But you succeed in the end." Morisuke smiled and rub Yuu's back. "Give yourself a little more credit. 

"I know... " Yuu had move a little rubbing his face into the crook of Morisuke's neck. "I've practiced a lot before the match you know..."

Morisuke knew, Yuu had updated him on it whenever they text. 

"I got scared... I haven't been scared since a long time now and I felt scared..." Yuu tighten his grip on Morisuke. "But I've overcame it thanks to my friends that believe in me...and also thanks to you." Yuu had lift his head up. "The colours was warm...it felt like you're encouraging me."

Oh

"I really love you Morisuke-kun." Yuu smiled big making Morisuke's smile widen too.

"I love you too Yuu..." 

Yuu had take a step back but his arms was still hanging around Morisuke's neck. 

"Tomorrow, I'll give it my all!" 

Morisuke grinned as he move his hands to hold Yuu's cheeks.

"I wouldn't want it any other way! Prepare to lose Yuu!" 

"Ohoho! Confident aren't we Morisuke-kun? I'm the one that's going to win!" Yuu said with that big confident smile that Morisuke love so much. 

"Says who? You can be such a cheeky boyfriend sometimes." Morisuke rolled his eyes as he squeezed Yuu's cheeks making him giggles.

"Hehe, well, your cheeky boyfriend demand a good luck kiss now." 

"Hmm, should I? You are on the enemy team." Morisuke asked teasingly and put on a fake thinking pout.

"Come on Morisuke-kun, I'll give you one in return!" Yuu huffed and there's the puppy dog looks that make Morisuke give in every time Yuu asked for something. "We haven't kiss in weeks Morisuke-kun! I want a kiss now!" 

"Just one?" Morisuke asked slightly tilted his head as he lean in. Yuu hummed in delight as he move in as well to meet Morisuke's lips.

"Hm... Maybe more if time allowed?" 

It was more than one and it was way passed five minutes and they had to be forcefully separated by their respective team captain.

The day of their match was here, Yuu stepped on the court with his team and glanced over to Nekoma where his soulmate stood. Yuu was grinning from ear to ear as he bounced on the heels of his feet waiting to start. He recalled how his teammates told him to not get too distracted and he promised he won't. He already said he'll give it his all after all!

As the announcer introduced the team one by one, Yuu made eye contact with Morisuke. Yuu blinked and flashed a grin as his playfulness gave him an idea. Morisuke quirked an eyebrow as if he senses Yuu was up to something. Yuu lifted his hand up and blew a kiss at Morisuke along with a wink. He was already giggling thinking how Morisuke gonna be all flustered as the Nekoma libero tend to get shy with PDA but no, Morisuke had surprised him, he had caught him off guard. 

Morisuke had lifted his hand up doing a catching motion then placed that hand to his heart while winking back at Yuu with a smile. Yuu wasn't expecting Morisuke to catch his air kiss and winked back! The Nekoma libero rarely teased back affectionately like this. He's so cute! 

Yuu had hunched over, gripping where his heart was as he mentally screamed at how much he love Morisuke and how cool and cute and amazing he is. 

"Hey! No flirting at the court!" 

"Keep your PDA off the court!"

"Nekoma, tell your libero to stop distracting our libero!"

"What? It's obviously your libero that started this!" 

"We haven't even start the match and is already a mess." 

Karasuno end up wining the match. The rally went for so long that Yuu surprised he still got the energy to run for a group hug. It was a good and satisfying match and he was sure Morisuke felt the same with how vibrant the colour of the world is. They all lined up to thank the other team for a good match. Morisuke was the first to held out his hand towards Yuu.

"It was a fun game Yuu!" 

Yuu didn't hesitate to grab onto Morisuke's hands with both his hand. 

"Thank you Morisuke-kun! I can't wait to see more of your play in the future!" He said, looking up at Morisuke with sparkling eyes full of admiration. 

Morisuke blinked, slightly surprise. He did thought of going pro but he wasn't sure he would, he wasn't sure how far he can go but with how easily Yuu said he wanted to see more of his play in the future he felt reassure and the thought of he will go pro became more solid. Yuu's confidence really affected him. He let a soft smile grace his face. He may have lost now but he's sure he'll stand on the court again and he'll be stronger than before.

"Yeah, thank you." 

Karasuno lost to Kamomedai in the next round. It's an unfortunate loss especially with them losing Hinata and Tsukishima, it was a huge damage on both offense and defense for them. Yuu of course was upset at the lost but he didn't regret anything since he had put everything he had in it. 

Yuu met Morisuke that night when they packed up to leave Tokyo. Morisuke come over to the hotel he stayed and waited for him outside. Both sat at a bench as Yuu leaned his head on Morisuke's shoulder and for once the younger libero was very quiet.

"Morisuke-kun..."

"Yea?" 

"I... don't...I just...it's just..." 

Morisuke waited for Yuu to continue, it's not often Yuu stumbled over his own words. 

"I want you to know...I don't think I'll continue volleyball after high school."

Morisuke blinked. He actually thought Yuu would continue volleyball, he was good at it after all and always looking to improve his skill but maybe Morisuke miss something about Yuu. "Can I know why?"

"I was just thinking and wondering..." Yuu started. "Don't get me wrong, volleyball is fun, playing with my friends is fun, meeting you and different teams was fun and exhilarating, I mean, National was on a whole different level, it was just so exciting and it reminded me that the world is big and there's so much I've never experienced..." Yuu had lifted his head up to look at Morisuke. "The world is huge and there's still so much I want to try, I think I want to travel around the world, Morisuke-kun." 

"Alright..." Morisuke said and slowly smile. The answer was such a Yuu answer. There's no way a court can keep Yuu in, he's too free. "Make sure to tell me all your adventure when that day come." 

Yuu blinked and the most beautiful smile appear on his face. His shoulder sagged as if a heavy weight been lifted and he hugged onto Morisuke's arm then started burying his face into his shoulder. "Morisuke-kun, you're so perfect!! I love you so much!!" 

Ah he's back to his cheerful self. 

"I love you too Yuu..." Morisuke pat Yuu's head and planted a soft kiss on top of his head.

Just as Yuu said, he went travelling after he graduated and he make sure to stay in contact with Morisuke and his friends though they can also know how he's doing through his social media. Morisuke had gone pro, he has been known as a very skilled libero in Japan and currently playing in Russia. Despite in different countries, both still annoyingly lovey dovey with one another. There will be days where they feel lonely but they always talk it out. 

Yuu was in Egypt when he received news of Morisuke going to play in the Japan National team in the Olympics. It's a big news and Yuu was so happy and proud of Morisuke so of course he had to go back and watch the match. He decided to surprise Morisuke there in Japan so he didn't tell Morisuke that he'll be back in Japan nor he got ticket to the Olympics. It costed a bit but it's worth it to see his beloved. Oh how the times flies, it was almost unbelievable seeing how many years they've been together. 

He arrived the night before the match so he could have enough rest for when he meet Morisuke. Sitting among the crowd, he bounced on his seat awaiting to see the team, giggling at the thought of Morisuke's reaction. He's gonna be so surprised.

Yuu's eyes sparkled as he watched a team in red come into view and he easily spotted Morisuke in the sea of red. The same sandy brown hair but slicked back with a pair of dark brown eyes that always bring a wave of calmness to Yuu. He look so cool! Yuu had to clench his hand tightly into a fist to resist the urge to just run down to where Morisuke is though he couldn't stop the grin spreading across his face when he saw how Morisuke's head snapped to his direction. He couldn't even stop the laugh that come out from how Morisuke gapped at his appearance here at the arena. 

"Eh? Is that Noya-san? Noya-san!!!" Hinata pointed up and waved both his arms up and down. Kageyama also had raised a hand to wave which Yuu return happily. 

Yuu found a few familiar faces there. There's Ushijima Wakatoshi, Miya Atsumu, Ojiro Aran...and a few he didn't know. It's amazing seeing how their past foes were now each other teammates. He gazed back to Morisuke and smiled as he take in how pretty Morisuke was right now. He had seen pictures of Morisuke both sent by the man himself and from magazine but it doesn't compare to the seeing Morisuke in person.

Morisuke's eyes widen before blinking twice then he glanced to his left hand where the red string be and his gaze follow it to where Yuu were as if to make sure that this is real. A soft smile appear on Morisuke's face once he realized Yuu was really there and then raised his hand up to wave.

Yuu happily returned the wave and then blew a lot of air kisses to Morisuke wishing him luck. "Morisuke-kun! Good luck!!" He did his best to yell at the top of his lungs since the crowd was already very loud. He truly hope Morisuke heard him. 

Morisuke chuckled, he barely heard what Yuu said but he could guess that Yuu was wishing him luck then he catch Yuu's air kiss and held it to his heart. Yuu's appearance had give him a huge boost.

"Holy shit...Yaku looking really soft right now!" 

"Oooh did he spot someone cute?" 

"Oh most definitely, his soulmate is just right there. NISHINOYA!" 

"Nishinoya? Karasuno's libero?" 

"Yea! Noya-san is Yaku-senpai soulmate, they've been together since high school!" 

"Whoaaa? Really? I didn't know Yaku got a soulmate! You got to introduce us to your soulmate!" 

"Yea! Invite him over for a drink later!" 

The Japan national team were basically all over Morisuke now telling him to invite Yuu over. Morisuke frowned and glared at them. "Shut up! You guys are acting like a bunch of five years old!" 

Iwaizumi had to step in to stop them from fooling around any further. Yuu was having the time of his life laughing when he watched them get scolded by Iwaizumi. It seems the old Seijoh ace was still scary as ever! 

Everyone met up at Onigiri Miya after the match. Japan won bronze in the Olympics so it was something worth celebrating. 

"Morisuke-kun!" Yuu exclaimed as he jump on Morisuke who catch him perfectly. "Nice receive, as always!" 

"Yuu, you really surprised me! You could have told me you're here!" Morisuke couldn't even hide the fondness in his words as he clung tightly to Yuu. God he miss him so much.

"Then it wouldn't be a surprise, dummy." Yuu said and gave a quick kiss on Morisuke's nose before resting his forehead against Morisuke's. 

"Alright, lovebirds, go sit down." Iwaizumi huffed then gesture to his behind "You two gonna make the singles cry." 

"Oi! Iwaizumi-kun! Shut up!" Atsumu cried as his twin Osamu just laugh. 

"If you just go confess then you wouldn't be single, coward." 

"Osamu shut up! Like you're any better!"

The two only laughed seeing the twins fight. As if Yuu wanted to fan the flame, he kisses Morisuke on the lips with a loud mwah before pulling Morisuke by the wrist to a seat, laughing even more at the Miya twins' jealous gaze and of course Morisuke was enjoying it since it's not everyday he get to mess with Atsumu like this. 

"It seems like you be having lots of fun everyday with the Japan National team." Yuu said with a big smile to Morisuke. Morisuke only chuckled. 

"Fun? Of course you would think that! You get along well with the freak duo and Bokuto, I have no doubt you would get along with everyone else instantly." 

"I supposed so!" Yuu giggled. 

Soon Yuu was dragged away by his ex-juniors with a loud 'Noya-san' from Hinata and a shy nod from Kageyama. Yuu was jumping and praising them and proudly announced how proud of them he is which got both of them all happy. Just like Morisuke said, Yuu easily get along with everyone and had make the celebratory party all fired up. It was a nice view , it's always nice to see Yuu made everyone happy though the little selfish side of Morisuke just wanted to cuddle up with Yuu alone right now but he couldn't deny that Yuu smiling and having fun was a sight he love the most. 

The party lasted till pretty late at night and one by one, they left to get home for a well deserved rest. 

"Aah it felt so nice catching up with them!" Yuu said and stretched as he stood outside of the now closed Onigiri Miya with Morisuke beside him. He held onto Morisuke's hand and they started walking down the street together. "By the way, congratulations Morisuke-kun! You're amazing out there! That block follow up, that perfect overhand receive! Gah! You were so cool out there, I just want to run down and kiss you right there!"

"Well I'm right here right now so what are you waiting for?" 

Yuu giggled as he held both Morisuke's cheeks and kisses him. Morisuke kissed back with a little more force as he had missed Yuu so much. It has been weeks? Months? Since they last saw each other so there's no way Morisuke could hold back. Yuu was the one that pull away first but he rested his arms around Morisuke's shoulders and smiled happily as he peppered Morisuke's face with more kisses. 

"Come back to the hotel with me?" Morisuke asked. 

"I already planned to, where else would I go?" Yuu said with a laugh. 

Morisuke smiled at the answer but then froze and look at Yuu with wide eyes.

"Wait... don't tell me you didn't book a hotel at all when you come back?" 

"Nope! I just knew you would let me stay with you!" 

"Yuu... that's..." Morisuke's mouth open and close in disbelief but then just smile and shook his head at the confident grin on Yuu. "Haha...that's so you." 

Yuu smiled while just staring at the smiling Morisuke. 

Sandy brown hair, dark brown eyes, soft red lips with a matching red cheeks. 

Yuu couldn't remember how the world look like before he met Morisuke, when it was all just monochrome. He loves the colourful world, how he can see the blue of his favourite popsicles, the colourful hair dye he could choose but most of all, the calming brown with a hint of red on his soulmate. He could never get tired of seeing the colours of his soulmate.

During his stare, he had run his fingers through Morisuke's hair before cupping his cheeks while smiling a soft smile that's full of love and admiration as if Morisuke was his everything which he is. 

Morisuke let Yuu does what he want for a while until he couldn't stop a giggle from escaping when Yuu's hand brushes against his ears. He grab onto Yuu's hands and interlocked their fingers as he smile to Yuu who blinked out of his trance. He smiled and pulled Morisuke along, twirling and spinning down the streets as he hummed to a tune he probably heard from the radio once or at some cafe. He just wanted some way to let out all this joy he is feeling right now. Morisuke let him and just went along his soulmate's antics as laughter left his lungs freely.

It probably seem like a silly scene to any passerby with two grown adult dancing down the empty street to some out of tune humming but to the two, it's something special and talk about fondly in the future. Yuu will not forget how the colourful and shining the lights are surrounding them in the dark night and how beautiful Morisuke is smiling with the light shine against his face. Morisuke won't forget how free Yuu look and how the red string of fate circle around them as they dance, it create such an a ethereal view. 

Ah I love him so much. 

"Ok, what gotten into you all of a sudden?" Morisuke asked, tone full of amusement once they stop.

"Just... thinking..." Yuu blushed and tighten his grip on Morisuke's hands. 

"Thinking about the splashes of colours you brought into my world."
