Jimmy has not had the best experiences with romantic relationships.
He was in a toxic relationship his last two years of high school.
At first it was not so bad.
Scott was Jimmy's first and the boy knew that.
He knew Jimmy was trans and respected him, using his preferred pronouns, and calling him Jimmy and not *deadname*.
Scott would tell off anyone (Student or not), who wouldn't accept Jimmy as Jimmy.
Jimmy loved him, and Scott took advantage of that.
The blond had a tendency not to say no and instead be a people pleaser.
So when, after a date, when they had been dating for a few months, Scott asked Jimmy if they could have sex, Jimmy didn't say no, no mater how badly he wanted to.
Scott ended up taking something from Jimmy, Jimmy wanted to save for when they got married.
And as things usually go, once they did it once, Scott wanted it again a little over a week later, and again, and again after that.
Scott would ask, and Jimmy would not say no, but not quite say yes either.
Eventually, during the second semester of their senior year, Jimmy finally built up the courage to ask Scott to break up, but when he did, Scott started to cry, and ask why Jimmy did not love him anymore.
Jimmy had caved, and apologized to Scott.
Scott had stopped his tears and forgave Jimmy, but the blond still felt wrong.
He still loved Scott, but did not love what he did to him and his body.
After that, Scott stopped asking, instead he just did, and forced Jimmy to have sex with him.
For example, they would be over Scott's house, watching a movie well Scott's parents where out for dinner, and without asking, without warning, Scott would reach over and put his hand in Jimmy's pants, touching Jimmy as they watched the movie.
Jimmy glanced over and saw Scott was hard.
The blond felt sick, but he bit his lip, moving his eyes back to the tv, not wanting to upset his boyfriend, he said nothing.
Eventually Scott pushed Jimmy down onto the couch, pinning him down, kissing the blond, hand still in his pants, playing with him.
He could feel Scott against him, knew what was going to happen, but bit his tongue as Scott started to undress him, his mouth moved to Jimmy neck and he started to bite and suck at the skin there, painfully.

Jimmy stood in his room, trying to apply concealer (he got from his aunt who did not accept his wasn't *deadname* anymore) to the bites and hickeys Scott left on his neck the night before, when his older brother Joel found him, tears in his eyes.
Him and Joel were fraternal twins so they did not look like each other.
Joel looked like their mom, and Jimmy more like their dad (especially in Height), an Joel was the older one so he always tries to protect Jimmy.
So when he found his twin, crying as he put makeup over bites and hickeys, Joel wanted to know what happened.
Jimmy broke, telling Joel exactly what was happening, and Joel got extremely mad.
He told Jimmy to invite Scott over, immediately.
Jimmy texted Scott if he wanted to come over and hand out, and Scott accepted.
Joel hid in Jimmy's closet as Jimmy let Scott in to the house, taking him to his room.
Jimmy left the bedroom door to the hallway open so he had an escape if he needed it.
The blond told Scott he did not want to date him anymore again, and again, Scott cried, asking why Jimmy did not love him anymore.
Jimmy gave up, apologizing as Scott walked over to his dresser by the door to grab a tissue.
Scott dried his tears with the tissue, the shut the door.
He walked over to Jimmy, pushing him down onto his bed and started to remove his pants as Jimmy tried to fight back, crying.
Joel ran out of the closet before Scott was able to pull down Jimmy's underwear.
The brunet punched Scott in the face.
The two of them tumbled to the ground punching, kicking, and shouting.
Jimmy scrambled up, pulling his pants back up as he grabs his phone off the bedside table where it was charging.
He dialed his mum's number.
"Mum, Joel and Scott are in my room fighting!" Jimmy said, voice full of panic and fear for his brother.
"We'll be right over." His mum said.
His parents had left the neighbors house where they were watching a sports game and came running into the house.
Joel had now pinned Scott to the ground, cop style, pinning his arms behind his back, just before their parents came in.
"What is going on in here?" Their mum asked, seeing Jimmy scared, his boyfriend with a bloody nose, pinned under Joel, who had a busted lip, and black eye forming.
"Get the fuck off of me!" Scott yells.
Joel spit some blood from his mouth on to the floor, "This piece of blooming shit tried to rape Jimmy."
"Jimmy?" Their mum asked, turning to look at Jimmy, who was visibly shaking to see if that was true.
Jimmy nodded.
"Oh hun." his mum said, walking over to hug Jimmy as her husband called the police to deal with Scott.

Jimmy never though he was going to date again, and he did not for almost three years.

Jimmy met Tango his freshmen year of college.
Tango is roommates with some of Joel's friends so they hang out.
Jimmy has developed a small crush on the engineering student.
During his junior year of studying to become a vet tech (Birds have always fascinated him), Tango asked him out on a date, and he said yes.
He knows his brother/roommate, gave Tango a shovel talk, since Tango seemed very jumpy around Jimmy when Joel was around for a week or two, and Joel would smirk whenever Tango Jumped (Jimmy will only ever wonder what Joel said he would do).
Jimmy loves Tango, but he is scared, will history repeat itself?

Jimmy unlocks his dorm door.
Tango's roommate is home, but Joel is out on a date with Lizzie.
As he shuts the door, Tango kisses him, sending sparks through out his body.
He drops his keys into the bowl by the door as Tango slowly pulls him towards his bed.
They bump into Jimmy's desk, temporally breaking the kiss, but Jimmy pulls them back together.
Tango almost roles his ankle on one of Joel's discarded trainers, pulling them apart again, but Tango pulls them back, his hands tangling in Jimmy's fluffy blond hair.
They both giggle, exchanging broken kisses as Tango pushes Jimmy onto his bed, on his back.
Jimmy smiles into the kiss, his hands now tangling in Tango's hair as the shorter man slides his hands up Jimmy' shirt, over his binder and exploring his chest.
They break apart to catch their breaths, both of them panting for air.
That's when Jimmy sees it.
Tango is turned on right now.
The shorter blond is already reaching down to start undoing Jimmy's jeans.
Jimmy closes his eyes, 'not again, not again, not ag-'
"Jimmy." Tango says.
Jimmy opens his eyes and looks at Tango.
Tango has stopped, hands still on Jimmy's pants, but his gaze is on Jimmy's face, "Do you want this?"
No, no he does not. He wants to wait until he is married, something he can have with Tango (not first. Scott took that.)
Jimmy bites his lip as Tango stares at him, looking for an answer.
"No." Jimmy says quietly, "I don't."
"Oh." Tango says.
He moves, getting off Jimmy and standing up, feet on the floor.
"That's okay." Tango says.
"Do you want to watch a movie?" Jimmy asks, trying to break the awkward moment.
"Yeah, let's do a movie." Tango says.
Jimmy sets a movie up on his lap top and they snuggle together to watch it.
Jimmy ends up falling asleep, snuggles up to Tango.
When the movie is almost over Joel walks in.
"Oh, hey Tango." Joel says quietly.
"Hey Joel." Tango responds quietly, "Jim's out."
"I see." Joel says, putting his jacket on the back of the door after shutting it, "How was your night."
"Good, good." Tango says, carefully getting out o Jimmy's bed without waking him.
Joel sits down on his bed and pats next to him, telling Tango to sit, "You don't look like it was good."
Tango sighs, sitting down, "It's just, me and Jimmy where making out and I started to undo his pants to you know..." He gesture vaguely.
"Did you...?"
Tango turns red, "No, no, I-" he says.
Of course it's going to be awkward, Tango is literally talking to Joel about possibly fucking his brother.
I was about to unbutton his jeans and I looked at his face and he looked...distressed?" Tango says, "I-i did not know what was wrong, so I asked him if he wanted that, and he said no, but it took him a bit to answer, like it was hard for him."
Joel sighs, "Has he told you about Scott?"
"No."
"Scott was his boyfriend in school." Joel says, "His first."
"Ah."
"Jimmy had always told me, Mum, and Dad how he wanted to wait to have sex until he was married, but he started to date Scott, and Scott was one of hose kids no one said no to." Joel says, "Especially Jimmy who normally had a hard time telling people no and stuff."
Tango makes a face of turmoil as he looks over at Jimmy who is asleep.
"Scott raped him multiple times, and the last time he tried it I beat him up."
Tango silently looks as Jimmy, meany emotions crossing his face, from anger to sympathy.
"He had not dated anyone since, then, about three years, them you two started to go out." Joel continues.
"Is that why your so protective of him?" Tango asks.
"Yeah, kinda." Joel says, "Growing up he was my little sister, then my little brother and I sill felt like I need to protect him no mater who he is."
"He is someone worth protecting." Tango says, internally promising to himself that he would do just that, even if they break up, he will still protect Jimmy with his life.
"Yeah he is." Joel says.
