Standard Story Codes for Erotica

Summary:

This is a compilation of standard story codes that were pulled from the now-defunct ASSTR.org website as well as other erotica sites across the net used in identifying content within a story. Many may not be familiar with these types of codes as it’s the “old” way to tag a story to identify what occurs in it. But there is still value in using them since AO3 tags are for the entire work and not individual chapters. There are many, many more codes out there, but these listed here are the more popular ones and/or the ones I use in my Daddy Remembers series and other works of mine.

Notes:

Since we cannot tag individual chapters in AO3, and we are also limited to 75 tags a work can have (including relationship tags), I am using these story codes to be more specific of what happens in each chapter. A work could have more content than the 75 tags allotted plus a certain activity might happen only within 1 chapter out of 20, but it might not be worth tagging the entire work for it, however readers might still want to know about it.

So, I am using these short story codes for each chapter of the Daddy Remembers series and other works of mine. This way, readers and fans can be better informed of specific chapter content, if they so choose, in case there is content in a particular chapter they wish to be forewarned about to potentially skim or skip – or better yet, get excited by.

M Adult male (18 or older)
m Teenage male (13 - 17)
b Preteen boy (12 or younger)
F Adult female (18 or older)
f Teenage female (13 - 17)
g Preteen girl (12 or younger)
H Adult hermaphrodite / intersex (18 or older)
h Young hermaphrodite / intersex (under 18)
Tg-M Transgender adult male (female transitioned to male)
Tg-m Transgender teen male (female transitioned to male)
Tg-F Transgender adult female (male transitioned to female)
Tg-f Transgender teen female (male transitioned to female)

Relationships

When two or more characters have sexual relations with one another, the above codes are combined.  There can be many, many combinations.  Below are a few examples you may find in my works:

MF An adult male and an adult female together
Mg An adult male and a preteen female together
mf Teenage male and teenage female together
FF Two adult females together
bbg Two preteen males and a preteen female together
M+F Three or more adult males with one adult female
MF+m+gg An adult male, three or more adult females, three or more teenage males, and two preteen females together
_-solo
_solo		 Masturbation by the character code indicated:  i.e. M-solo is masturbation by an adult man; g-solo is masturbation by a preteen girl (with or without hyphen)
_-dom
_dom		 Domination by the gender/age indicated:  i.e. M-dom is a dominant adult man; F-dom is a dominant adult woman; g-dom is a dominant preteen girl (with or without hyphen)

Types of Sex

anal Anal sex or play
bi Bisexual character or bisexual relations
dp Dual penetration
edge Getting to the edge of climax without actually achieving it
frot Frottage - rubbing of genitals together, clothed or naked, without penetration
gay Homosexual character or homosexual relations
hj Hand job - sexual stimulation using hands or fingers
les Lesbian character or lesbian relations
nosex Pre-emptive code that denotes no sexual activity takes place in the story despite any other codes present
oral Mouth to genital sex
rim Mouth to anus sex
tp Triple penetration

Kinks & Other Codes

1st First time - typically, intercourse
1st-_ First time for whatever follows, ex:  “1st-oral” is the first time having oral sex
asphyx Asphyxiation - sexual pleasure from having air supply cut off
bd Bondage and Discipline - sometimes used for just bondage without discipline
bdsm Bondage/discipline, dominance/submission, sadism/masochism
Blackmail Forcing sex through threat of exposure
breast Abnormally large breasts
buk Bukkake - a person (typically female but not always) being ejaculated on by many males
cbt Cock & ball torture
cpie Creampie - man’s ejaculate being sucked out of a woman's vagina and consumed
cheat A married or committed character having sex outside of the commitment and cheating on their partner
cuck Cuckold - a man who has an unfaithful wife and typically (but not always) likes to watch her with another man
cyber Virtual sex encounter over a computer screen or other electronic device
DILF “Daddy I’d Like to Fuck” - story centered around an older attractive male
disc Discipline
dream Sexual activity during a dream
drunk Sexual activity while intoxicated
D/d Daddy/daughter roleplay by a male and female who are not related
D/s Dominance and submission is the typical meaning; but in other sites/stories, it could also stand for “Daddy/son roleplay” between two males who are not related
dubcon Dubious consent - it is unclear if the character consents or not
exh Exhibitionism (see also "voy" for voyeurism - one cannot be on exhibit without someone else looking, i.e. a voyeur. So, often you'll see "exh/voy" together)
fond Fondling (also see “pett” for petting)
fist Fisting – using one’s fist for intercourse
foot or feet Foot or shoe fetish
furry People dressed as animals and engaging in sexual activity
gag A device to restrain one’s speech
hirs Hirsute - natural unshaved genitals and/or armpits (typically used for females but not always)
humil Humiliation in a sexual context whereby one person gains arousal or erotic excitement from the mixed and powerful emotions of being humiliated and demeaned

interr Interracial
job Sex in the workplace
lac Lactation - adult breastfeeding/consumption of human milk
M/d Mother/daughter roleplay by two females who are not related
M/s Mother/son roleplay by a female and male who are not related
maso Masochism - pleasure from receiving pain
MILF “Mother I’d Like to Fuck” - story centered around an older attractive female
nepi Nepiophilia - sexual participants are babies and children under age 2
peg Pegging - a female using a phallus for anal penetration of a male
pett Heavy petting (also see "fond" for fondling)
preg Pregnant - sex with a pregnant woman or impregnation
pub Public - sexual activity in a public place
reluc Reluctance - character is unsure at first but ultimately loves/enjoys it
rom Romantic
rp Roleplay
rough Consensually rough sex, not always sadomasochism
sad Sadism - pleasure from inflicting pain, typically to others but could be from self-harm too.
shave Shaving hair off genitals
sleep Sexual activity with someone while they are asleep
slow Slow build up of the story to the sex scenes
sm Sadomasochism - pleasure from both giving and receiving pain
spank Spanking
swing Married or committed couples in which the commitment does not imply exclusivity
tickle Tickling
tod Toddlercon - some participants ages 2-5
tort Torture
toy Vibrators, dildos, plugs, rings, whips, chains, clamps, and other adult sex toys or gear
va Verbal abuse - abusive and dirty language
veg Vegetable - sex with food, even if fruit or other type that is not a “vegetable”
viol Violence - not necessarily with sex involved
voy Voyeurism (one can be a voyeur without others knowingly being on display, so they are not being exhibitionists.  So, "voy" may appear alone without "exh")
wash Sex in the shower or while bathing
ws Water Sports – AKA golden showers; urinating on someone
zoo Zoophilia/bestiality - caring and consensual sexual activity between humans and animals
