Tucker scratches his head in confusion, “Wait, I still don’t understand, so why are you going-“
Danny throws up his hands in exasperation “Ughhh I already told you! My parents have suddenly decided that they care about the possible effects of ecto contamination! So they thought it would be better to send me away for a while, that and they think I might need a “fresh start” after only taking online school for so long. Why they chose Japan though I have no idea,” he looks off to the side and growls, “though I have a hunch of who might”
“Uh-huh,” Tucker nods, “I got that part so why-“
“Why did I agree to go? Because my parents are totally on to me! It’s like they’ve suddenly realized that manifesting a brand new quirk at the age of 12 isn’t normal, and now all I’m hearing is stuff about contamination and how it might be effecting me and whether or not it’s results could be reproduced or if it could be found in my blood-“
“Wait they said that to you??” Sam exclaims, looking worried
“Well- no- but it doesn’t change the fact that I heard it, and you know my parents! They loooove dissecting what they don’t understand.”
Sam frowns, “Danny, you know they wouldn’t do that to you,”
“Do I though?!” Danny snaps, almost immediately cringing in regret afterwards, he looks away and clears his throat, “Anyways so yeah, as soon as they brought up me going to a school abroad I took my chance, I know that Amity park will be safe with you guys. And I can always fly back if I’m needed.”
“Thanks for the vote of confidence bud, but that wasn’t actually what I was going to ask!” Tucker exclaims
“What are you still confused about??” Danny asks
Sam and Tucker glanced at each-other before yelling out at the same time,
“Why are you going to a hero school???”
