Chapter Text
Whispered voices reached his ears as the effects of the ‘Death Bullet’ wore off. That alone he found strange. The effects were supposed to last till his past self was transferred to the future to take his place. His intuition was sluggish, still recovering from the death-like state he had been in. All he could tell was something was off, really off, he however was too tired to react properly. He decided that opening his eyes would get him the answers to his questions faster than just laying there.
“I don’t know Knuckle, someone found him in the forest just outside of town unconscious and brought him here. That’s all anyone knows.” One of the voices spoke growing closer. The name made him freeze and keep his eyes shut. Knuckle? That was Primo’s sun guardian wasn’t it? Why was someone using that name? A sigh came from the other person, likely Knuckle, as a hand was placed on his forehead.
“I believe you, Lampo… but has Giotto been informed of this?” Knuckle asked, voice quieter than he imagined. He mentally frowned. Lampo too? Plus Primo was mentioned? What was going on? Where was he as this wasn’t his coffin?
“No, he and G left this morning for some alliance meeting I think.” Lampo replied. Well this was just great. What had gone wrong in his plan? Why was he in the past? How was he in the past? Shoichi’s machine was supposed to stop the future selves from switching with the younger selves. This also was not supposed to happen. He heard Knuckle hum in acknowledgment.
“This is rather strange. You said he was found with no pulse, but upon arrival he started breathing?” Knuckle questioned Lampo as his hand moved from his forehead to his neck and he had to use every ounce of energy he had access to at the moment to remain still as he was taught.
“Yeah, scared the poor man who brought him here half to death himself,” Lampo replied, yawning. “Why? Is that not supposed to be possible?”
“Well… not usually. And I would say definitely not with what looks like a bullet hole in his forehead. Though- our guest here might be coming around here shortly if his vital signs are any indication of that…” Knuckle replied. He heard a rustle and taps of shoes.
“Oh! Do you want me to get Daemon or Alaude?” Lampo asked quickly. An involuntary tense spread throughout his body despite trying to suppress it. Feeling Knuckle’s fingers twitch on his neck he knew he was found out. He internally cursed and prayed that Reborn never found out about this little mistake of his.
“Not quite yet Lampo, but stay by the door would you?” Knuckle said as he moved his hand back.
“Uh, okay…” Lampo said, confusion lining his tone.
“Mister, are you awake, and able to open your eyes?” Knuckle spoke gently. He wanted to stay still and pretend this wasn’t happening, but if he did he was worried they would bring in Daemon and- No he wasn’t going to finish that thought. Slowly he opened his eyes and weakly turned his head to look at Knuckle and Lampo. It was a surprise to see that it was actually them. This situation had never even crossed his mind, let alone actually seeing the first generation and not just their ghosts.
“Ah, good.” Knuckle said as he sat down in the chair next to the bed. “Can you tell us your name?”
“It’s Tsuna…” he mumbled. He saw Knuckle light up in surprise. Lampo even stood straighter where he stood by the door.
“You’re Japanese!” Lampo exclaimed in shock. “What are you doing in Italy and in the forest?!”
“Lampo, quiet down.” Knuckle scolded looking over his shoulder at the younger man. Tsuna looked at Lampo though flashes of Lambo appeared to overshadow the green haired teen. He frowned a bit, was the effects of the bullet still messing with him? Tsuna winced, closing his eyes grimacing. Everything was going fuzzy again.
“Hey, Tsuna, stay awake.” Knuckle said quickly, lightly tapping his cheek. Tsuna lolled his head to the other side away from Knuckle’s hand groaning softly.
“Ryohei… stop…” Tsuna mumbled barely above a whisper before he once again found himself in the void of sleep.

Knuckle cursed under his breath and frantically tried to figure out what caused Tsuna to fall unconscious again. The apparent bullet hole didn’t actually penetrate the brunet’s skull so that couldn’t be the cause. But something strange was definitely going on. He looked at Lampo who was by the door and sighed.
“I didn’t want to do this given his response when you said Daemon’s name but… at the moment we have no choice. Go get him.” Knuckle said quickly, shooing Lampo off to get the mist guardian. Lampo left the room quickly, running through the manor. Knuckle however turned his attention back to Tsuna. He had no idea what was going on. Flames were obviously at work here as he could feel an extremely strong Sky flame from Tsuna himself, but there was also a sun flame that seemed to be suppressing the sky and normal functions of the body. The sky flame was not filtering the sun flame out quickly enough. That was his main concern at the moment, but couldn’t do anything without knowing the source. He hoped Daemon could enter Tsuna’s mind and figure that out so they could actually help him. Knuckle wasn’t even sure how or if Tsuna knew about the desperation flames. There was also the question of who was ‘Ryohei’ and why Tsuna called him that.
Notes:
Hi all... don't come for me I know I have several other fics I could be writing but to be honest I'm glad I'm writing something that's not being completely made up from my own head. I also don't know how often I'll update this either. World building is a pain in the ass and its kicking my butt seven different times given there seven worlds that are being made. ANYWAY, please enjoy what I have of this so far! This might turn into a drabble series or this might continue I have no clue at this point in time.
Chapter 2: Chapter 2
Chapter Text
Tsuna paced around a vast field of flowers deep in thought. This couldn’t be happening. He was in the past with the first generation, how was he supposed to get back? Though he couldn’t figure that out if the stupid ‘Death Bullet’ was still causing him to weave in and out of consciousness. Running a hand through his hair he groaned, he couldn’t even get his flames to burn the sun flames away like this either, let alone absorb them.
“Damn it!” Tsuna exclaimed, crouching down, hugging his knees, just wanting to cry. How had his plan changed so drastically? Why did he have such bad luck? Had that not gone away when he became Decimo? Well apparently not, clearly.
“Well I must say, you certainly have an impressive mental defense system.” An all too familiar voice said from behind him. That caused him to stand straight and whirl around with a glare.
“What are you doing here?” Tsuna growled. Daemon held up his hands in surrender.
“I was asked to find the cause of why you are drifting in and out of consciousness. Knuckle, our doctor, has a theory but cannot do anything without a proper diagnosis.” Daemon replied. Tsuna raised an eyebrow skeptically. This didn’t seem like the Daemon that he met in his time.
“And what is his theory?” Tsuna questioned, a bit curious what Knuckle thought was the issue as the ‘Death Bullet’ was new in his time period. Daemon looked at him for a moment and Tsuna felt a shiver run down his spine.
“There’s an unknown force suppressing you and forcing you to sleep.” Daemon replied before he glanced around the flower field. Tsuna folded his arms impressed that Knuckle came up with that much.
“And you are looking around, why?” Tsuna asked, raising an eyebrow. Daemon looked at him and smirked. Tsuna narrowed his eyes as the sky flashed orange singling his intuition was active.
“I have a question, young one. What do you know of seven colors gathering together to form a Rainbow?” Daemon asked, walking around.
Tsuna snorted, smirking. “A rainbow? Are you referring to a Lightbright? Or My Little Pony. Or even a Prism? Colored Pencils? Paint? RYGB? What are you talking about exactly?”
Daemon stopped dead in his tracks and looked at Tsuna in utter confusion. Tsuna raised an eyebrow waiting for Daemon to respond, smirking. Instead Daemon just stood there like a deer in headlights.
“Oi, are you going to answer?” Tsuna asked, raising an eyebrow. Getting no response, Tsuna poked Daemon’s forehead, but again there was no response. A wicked mischievous smile spread across Tsuna’s face and he quickly materialized a chair and a tv set. From there he managed to get Daemon to sit down in the chair which immediately trapped him. Afterwards Tsuna turned on Veggie Tales on the tv in front of Daemon before walking away.

Tsuna yawned as he relaxed in the flowers staring at the sky. He was getting bored of listening to Daemon’s yelling and struggles. He looked over at the first mist guardian before making the chair and tv disappear.
“If you actually want to help me and won't treat me like a child then yes I know of Deathperation Flames. There’s a sun flame that I was shot with that is limiting my own flames. The sun flames created a death-like state but I don’t know why it’s not allowing me to wake up even though the flames should have left my flames long ago.” Tsuna explained as Daemon was trying to run away. Daemon nodded before he quickly left Tsuna’s mind. He smirked, hoping that would teach Daemon a lesson.
