My Star of Purple

Summary:

Shea is a Jedi Padawan, being hunted by an inquisitor as she crashes down on an alien planet who has barely advanced to a bronze/iron age itself. Rukt witnesses the epic battle between Shea and another warrior from cover as he watches as one is still clearly injured and fighting for their lives. However, he can only assume that they are two shooting stars that have landed on the ground from the skies and that the two are battling and dares not interfere. But when the injured one succeeds by killing the other, he realizes her injuries are quite severe and he can't help but sympathize and empathize with her before he slowlly approaches and tries to help, depsite the stark contrast of the type of beings they are. However when she tries to leave via the inquisitor's ship, it self destructs before it can be flown away and she and Rukt barely escape that alive before they're blown into the woods.
However when she awakens, she has amnesia and with the language barrier, he can only try to help her recover before he tries to remind her of who and what she is. But closeness breeds fondness and one thing leads to another.

Monster March 2024

My Star of Purple

Ruketch saw it before he heard it. A bright light stretching across the sky as he was out on an early morning hunt. The sun wasn’t up. But this looked like a star, falling from the sky, down to the world. He found himself following it’s sharp dissent through the sky before it seemed to land in the thick pockets of mists between pockets of hills and valleys. The mists were both helpful, yet dangerous. They were good for hiding as you hunted. They were dangerous when others used them for the same reason.

But this was a star falling. Surely if he found it, it would be quite the treasure. Something never seen before. Soon many animals were fleeing the scene and running straight towards him. He used the opportunity to kill two large antelopes. But instead of focusing on his kills, he knew his other clansman would find his arrows and think he was out to hunt a third and would start to take care of his kills for him for the village.

Instead, he followed his ears in the mists and dull glow of fire after the sound of crash was heard and practically felt through the ground. And just like that, he was running deeper into the foggy darkness, towards the source of the sound in the deep mists, moving in and out of the trees as he did so, always making sure he didn’t get too off course. He felt rather stupid for running so fast through the woods, not caring where his feet fell on the forest floor. The mists had a way of making even the most well known forest look and feel unfamiliar. He would need his own tracks to get back home.

Just as he felt he was nearly there, there was a second star, or rather, a second group of stars, coming from the sky and into the mists, following the path of the first.

The second group landed with more grace, and gentleness. No crash, no fire. But instead, more light seemed to bloom in the murky gray of the mists now the sun was starting to rise behind him.

Suddenly a red glow, like one of the suns as it set on the horizon began to bloom in the mists, but only for a moment before another one seemed to come to life in the mists, a purple one, like some of the healing flowers he would find in the middle of summer, but glowing, just like the sun, but purple, like the sunrise or sunset when the other colors would splash on the horizon. And suddenly he heard sounds he had never heard before that he couldn’t even start to describe. But the lights, they looked like they were dancing. A long light of purple, against one of red, like two sticks of light, and moving like a staff in combat. Then he heard it, shouting. Could it be that the stars themselves were people like him? The language, he had no hope of understanding. But the tones? And the emotions in them. Pain, anger, and hatred.

Then as the mists began to lift, then he saw what was in reality, two star beings, fighting with beams, sticks, staff like shapes of light. He watched as the person with the purple light, was smaller, and had wings like that of a bird on their back, helping them fly around the other with red light. Judging by how the small one’s body was arranged, Rukt felt confident in thinking that the small one was a female star. And judging by the way the one with the red staff was made, it maybe was a male. If he had to guess. Or maybe the stars had no need for such things?

He watched, moving as silently as he could through the forest now, trying to catch his breath as quietly as he could, and trying to see what he could from the brush, hopefully out of sight from the star beings until he could figure out why they had come here to fight against each other. Surely the skies were big enough for both of them, just like they were for all the other countless stars in the skies at night.

But watching the two fight. He felt hypnotized by it. He didn’t know one could fight so gracefully. So smoothly. And so beautifully. It was more beautiful than watching the birds fly around each other in the spring and summer and fall. More beautiful than watching the butterflies flutter between flowers then too. They were moving so fast, that it made the light from their glowing staffs warp in shape in his eyes. Everything was happening so fast, yet in slow motion almost. He watched, eager to see who would win such a fierce and well fought battle. Soon, the one in black but wielding the red light seemed to corner the purple one against some large boulders before the little one flew up and out of the trap and back out into the open again as he found he had to hide behind some boulders that had rolled off the nearby rocky hills and mountains to keep from being seen by them, for them to use such weapons against him. He felt he had nothing to ever compete with such superior weapons of light.

The weapons themselves made sounds though. And not only did they make sounds by themselves but when they touched each other and struck against each other, they made more sounds! Again, sounds that he had never heard of before. But they only added another layer to what he was seeing. He could sense that those beams of light that they were both wielding, seemed to harness the power of one of the suns or even a moon. He could see, hear and feel how powerful their weapons were, as he knew that the right weapon was only an extension of the warrior. So if their weapons were so powerful. Could that mean that they themselves were just as powerful? If not more so?

But Ruketch could consider that later. For now, he just needed to see this, watch as two stars fought on the ground, with light as their weapons. He didn’t think any person could move as fast they did. Soon enough though, the one wielding the red beam of light had backed the one with the purple light up against the fire, the wreckage that now that he could see it, it was a large…building, made out of metal. Judging by the way it twisted from the impact of the crash.

In an effort to keep her head on her shoulders, one of her wings were cut off, keeping the smaller one from escaping from being pinned. And he recognized a kill blow about to be used when he saw one. The one with the red light was about to kill the smaller, now wounded one with only one wing as she cried out in pain and agony as she seemed to ball herself up, but that was only for a moment before she used her feet to push off the wreckage itself and shoved her body under the legs of the larger one before she screamed, screamed so loud, light from the sun came from her mouth and the light itself was so bright, he had to close his eyes and dive to the ground. Then he heard a small pop and another explosion as the being with the red light bar was instantly turned to nothing but it’s limbs, it’s core and it’s head gone in an instant. He opened his eyes when he heard the sound to see the small one, still on the ground. That had a hole in the fog, clear up to the sky above where it had screamed light itself. Like the sun rays burning off the mists during the day.

She rolled to her side and used her other wing to help her get up, only to get at the red light bar and grab it. But she did something that it turned off and only a moment later, she seemed to turn off her own light bar before she broke the middle handle she used to wield it- in two pieces and put one into her still attached wing before it became like a feather in her wing.

The sound they once gave off, now falling to silence. But in the absence of the sound. He could hear her crying. Hear her in pain and his heart constricted in his chest. He had to help her! He couldn’t just stand by and watch her die as he came out, only to see her crawl towards her cut off wing as she tried to lay on it, as if laying on it would reattach it as she just laid on the ground and cried in pain before she seemed to hear him coming towards her and she stopped crying to gasp in surprise only to see his hulking form trying to carefully creep towards her as he immediately put his hands up, hoping that she could understand that he didn’t mean her harm as he tried to call out to her.

But that only made her sit up, the wing itself, going with her as it seemed to try to reattach itself. He had never seen such a thing. But surely a star being with wings would be capable of such things.

“No harm.” He tried to say.

“Help.” He tried to offer her as the closer he tried to creep towards her. The more of her he could see. She was wearing strange clothes. And bleeding…purple blood. He had never seen such a thing. But it matched the purple of her weapon. Perhaps it was forged in the blood of other space beings. Like their own weapons were as she was trying to hold her hands to her various wounds that were bleeding.

“Help.” He repeated as he crouched down and sat on his ankles before awkwardly creeping forward again, trying to make his much larger self, especially when compared to her, smaller. To hopefully not intimidate her. He drew closer as he seemed to see the black stick that once held the red light and gently used the back of his fingers to nudge it closer to her as she then slowly let go of the lesser wound to take it and put it on her other leg where she had once returned her other half of her weapon that didn't go into her wing.

She seemed to say something, in an apologetic tone. Perhaps, saying, ‘I don’t know how you can help’.

“Star.” He asked as he pointed up through the clear hole through the mists that was starting to fill again with the gentle breeze moving the air around them. He pointed up towards the sky. Where the stars would normally be, when the suns were not shining now. Illuminating more and more around them.

She seemed to follow where he pointed to- to look up in the skies too as she slowly seemed to understand what he was saying as she slowly nodded yes.

“Star.” She tried to repeat as she pointed up with her hand as she seemed sad that her hand, that had once been clothed in a tan cloth, was now staining purple with her blood. But the more she kept touching her own wounds, the more he saw that small lights were coming from her palms and the wounds were healing. Oh if he could wield such powers as to heal himself and others as easily as she was doing, their village would be twice as big. But she looked…pale. Her complexion, didn’t look as vibrant as it did only moments ago. Her bright eyes were a cross between blue and purple. He had never seen an eye color like that before. But she was…for a star, even a wounded and hurt one, still the most beautiful woman, or female star. Surely the most beautiful being he had ever seen in his life.

“Go back?” He asked as he pointed to her and then back up to the skies before she gave a pained look at the wreck right next to them as she wouldn’t answer, instead new white tears flowed down her cheeks.

“Go back, other- star home?” He tried to ask, remembering seeing the other vessel as he followed her battle in the mists and woods.

She seemed confused before he pointed to the dismembered arm that laid nearby and then pointed to where the other star’s home had been that was brought down with them when they came here after she did.

Suddenly she seemed to understand what he was saying and her eyes grew wide and bright and something akin to a smile seemed to bloom on her face and her bright white teeth with the pink and purple toned gumbs as she seemed to finally understand what he was trying to say as she nodded and then seemed to pause and check her healing on her wounds to make sure they wouldn’t hurt her as he was amazed to see the wing still heal itself. It didn’t look great, like a wing only partially torn off of a bird. But it was still slow moving and slow growing and slow healing.

“Time. You have time. We wait for you to heal.” He offered as he sat at a small distance from her, still giving her person space but staying close enough to still be with her, and protect her if he needed to as he laid his weapons next to him, still within arm’s reach, should he need to protect her. But that she would hopefully understand that he meant her no harm. He almost felt embarrassed at the frankly crude weapons he had, when compared to her ones of light. But a blade formed of the rainbow ore was still the best he could do in this world.

She seemed to relax and agree as she leaned against a piece of wreckage that had recently finished burning as she sat there and her body finally relaxed as she recovered, her hands coming back over her wounds. The light coming from her hands, still ever present. She seemed to try to say thanks for his help and his patience as he nodded. Still not understanding a thing she was saying. But her tone, and the way she said it, he felt he could safely assume such things.

It was only when her wing, that had once been cut off with light seemed to stretch and then the feathers of the wing seemed to wiggle, stretch and bend like fingers as she breathed in relief as she then took the wing and put the other holder on her thigh o and put it back into the second lead feather's place as she sighed in relief and folded it behind her before she leaned against it, still not fully healed from her other wounds as she took a moment to look him over as closely as he seemed to look her over in between casting a curious look around to make sure no other bothered them as every sound made by other creatures in the woods, seemed to make him tilt his head towards the sound for a moment as he deciphered what it was, when his eyes wouldn’t let him see it through the thick mists.

She seemed to ask as her lesser wound healed, and she pulled her hand back to make sure it was healed. Her skin, now intact under the clothing that had been…burned? Cut? Burned and cut at the same time? She seemed to ask the same thing as she gestured to him.

“Me?” He asked once he pointed to his own chest. Maybe she was asking him for his name?

“I’m Rukt. Rukt.” He repeated, using his nickname that would hopefully be easier for her to say.

“Rukt- Rukt.” She slowly repeated.

“No, Rukt. One Rukt.” He gently corrected as he held up a single finger as she did the same, holding up a single finger on her other hand.

“Rukt.” She repeated as he nodded.

“Name of Star? Star Name?” He asked, trying to use simple words for her as he gestured to her.

“Chaschea.” She repeated as he struggled with trying to say her name.

“Chachia.” He tried to repeat.

“Chas-ch-sh-ee-ah.” She slowed down, making sure to pronounce each part of her name.

“Chas-ch-sh-ee-ah.” He tried to repeat, really trying to pronounce each part of her name like she was doing. But it was like his tongue was especially stupid today.

“Chaschea.” She said it again, speeding it up again.

But he kept having trouble combining the sh and ch parts of her name.

“Shea?” He asked, hopefully as she seemed to accept that for her name.

“Shea.” She seemed to accept with a small nod and a small, albeit, fond grin.

Once she finally seemed to heal and she pulled her hand away and found no new blood. She slowly went to move. How she could move with such speed and grace only a moment before, now her movements were obviously hard and strenuous, as he got up and leaned over and offered her his hand before she took it and used him to find her feet again.

She weighed so much. He didn’t think such a small thing would weigh so much. It was like she weighed what he did. But her feet were so small and her legs, so thin compared to his own. He didn’t know how she could carry such a weight. Then she seemed to take a moment to find her balance on the now, lumpy, mossy ground as she held onto his hand and arm for balance before he moved himself to under her broken wing so that it rested over his back for a moment. But it was really awkward for him to do. And he had to both bend and crouch to do it. But the appreciative smile she gave him, seemed to communicate all her gracious thanks as she was content to simply stand and rest as her wings continued to heal and regrow themselves as even her uninjured wing seemed to stick it’s longest feathers into the ground to help support her and her injured wing. How did such a small being carry such big wings? And control them like they were another arm? Hand and fingers?

But it was only for a few long moments as she seemed to catch her breath before her wing was healed enough that it could carry it’s own weight without him supporting it for her as it folded neatly onto her back. So that the wings didn’t even touch the ground. But instead wore like a pack on her back. Or like a long cloak as she tried to use her words of thanks to thank him before she stood a little straighter and then stretched and seemed to test her limbs, while still keeping a steady hand on his arm. That was curled in, and still at her shoulder length. She made a few tentative steps to see what she could salvage from the wreck, taking a few things and using what was once a cloak, as a makeshift sack from the hood and flipped it to her chest to easily put and carry things she could take from around the seat of it the home before she seemed to pause and go over it again, just trying to see if she missed anything. But when she was done she looked expectantly at him before she pointed to what was left of a lower leg on the ground.

“Oh, other Star’s house.” He realized as he had to pause and pick up his weapons and put them back on before he offered her another hand and led her to where he thought he had seen it last as he seemed to hope that he was going in the right direction before he found the tracks that they had made from the fight and followed the now dead one’s tracks, because surely, it would lead to where he came from in his black star house. And sure enough he was right. But now, it was closed up. And just a, strange black house as they approached it. And he looked for the opening he could have sworn was here last time he looked before she seemed to pull him back a fair distance and instead took out the dead one’s light staff and instead she seemed to turn it on and do a motion with it, and at once the door opened, or rather, it was like a ramp. A ramp opened as she seemed to turn and give one last happy smile before she let go, and tried to walk on her own up the ramp but he feared she would fall and continued to walk, his hands out for her to take just a finger’s breadth from her hands should she need to take hold of him. But instead she put her hand in such a way so as to gently refuse him. As she seemed steadier and steadier, the more she walked and then once she seemed to climb upon the ramp, she blew out a breath of relief before she turned and tried to keep him from joining her on the ramp as she kept repeating what, he felt he understood was her thanks.

“Back to stars?” He guessed as he seemed resigned to that and then pulled his hands back to himself before he pointed up towards the sky as she nodded with apologetic look and smile.

“Safe travels Shea.” He offered.

“Safe travels Rukt.” She repeated before she turned and went to walk into the rest of the house. But the ramp did not go up with her. Instead she seemed to sit down at a seat with a weird table as suddenly things glowed and floated in the air as he continued to watch, his toes barely touching the ramp and placing a hand on the pillar keeping it down from the house.

But soon she was huffing and growling? And muttering things as she tried to use the house to go back into the sky. But it seems, she tried one too many times. And instead, all the lights flashed red and there was a noise, like a bird alarming others of a predator in the trees or on the ground.

Suddenly the beeping and flashing get brighter and faster and suddenly she got up and ran towards him. And motioned to grab him. And he felt like a giant hand wrapped around him and picked him up as she then flew as fast as she could, while pulling him with her invisible hand and away from the black house and just as the ship exploded, she flew into him, her wings forming a cocoon over them as he was helpless but to hold her and try to protect her as much as her wings were doing the same for them both before they landed against a tree and her other wing broke but they stayed together and landed in the softer moss of the forrest floor. And once there, her wings unwrapped from him as she could only sit up and stare in shock and horror that the other star’s home had exploded with fire!

Rukt had never seen such things before in his life.

And yet, she was still, so small and now curled in on herself, her now fully broken wings laying behind her and crying her white tears again as she brought her knees up to her chest and cried into them.

“I’m sorry Star Shea.” He tried to offer as he knelt next to her and reached out and just barely let his hand touch her before she looked up and just looked so pitiful, with her pretty purple face, streaking white tears from her eyes before she moved and just..hugged him and cried into his chest as his arms slowly began to wrap around her and just hold her and tried to comfort her as the more of her tried to wrap around him before he just sat there, and let her cry all she wanted to, in the forest floor as her sniffles soon began to quiet and then slow and then fade before he looked down to see her asleep, his clothes and skin now covered in white tears as he simply tried to pick her up and was surprised when he could manage to do so. And do so easily enough. Her wings not seeming to weigh so much as they had before when she had broken them off. But maybe that’s because they could simply hang down between her back and the ground as he carried her like she was his bride, as he followed his inner compass to try to find his home again.

He brought her home and he politely asked others in the village to stay back. That she was a fallen star from the heavens. And had been hurt but that she would heal in his home as he brought her to his humble home and put her into his own bed and put his best and softest and warmest blanket over her as he knew she would need bone broth and asked his aunt, one the elder women to come and watch over her while she slept so that he could find his kills and bring them home to cook for her as she brought her handful of grains and began to grind them to make bread. He found his two kills and dressed them in the field before bringing them back to his home.

“She has not moved. She still breathes but she does not wake.” She informed him before he nodded in understanding.

“Here, thank you for watching over her.” He offered her a hind leg of antelope in exchange for her help.

“I’ll go and find some healing herbs for you to use for her as well. If they can heal us, they might heal her too.” She offered as she took the offering and brought it back to her own home and began to cut it up and preserve it for the coming days and weeks and even months while he did what he could to cut out the bones from the meat, roast them and then put them into his largest pot with some fresh water to make her a good healing bone broth as he put in everything he could think of to make it taste as delicious as it could be too.

Tarakaked came back with a whole basket full of herbs that she was able to gather after she prepared that leg he had given her and then even gave him a small sack of grains to make more bread for his guest.

“But I have nothing to offer in return.” He tried to offer her when he saw what she brought.

“It’s for a fallen star. I have never seen or heard of such a thing. None of the elders have. This is new. Did she say what her name was?” Tara asked.

“Shea was all I could pronounce.” He offered with a pained expression.

“Star Shea or Shea Star. Either way. It’s a good name, do you know which star in the skies she came from?”

“No, but another star, a red one, came down with her and battled her. They came down in houses of metal from the skies. They battle each other with light like they are swords or staffs. I have never seen or heard anything like it.” He told her.

“Shea Star Fighter.” Tara nodded in understanding.

“Where is the other star though? Will the other hunt for her?” Tara asked.

“No, she killed the other. She screamed light and killed him with light. He must have been part of the dark between the lights of the stars themselves.” He mused.

“Wow. So she is a star who fights with light and even screams it? You must have nearly pissed yourself.” Tara gently teased him.

“Aunt Tara.” He complained.

“I tease, I tease. Well she’s lucky she had you there to look out for her and protect her when she could not protect herself.” Tara praised.

“She’s quite pretty though. Small but obviously, powerful. I shall ask the others what they can offer to help you take care of her. Maybe when she awakes and heals. She will be able to share at least knowledge from the heavens before she returns to them.” She mused.

“The metal house she used to come down here, crashed, the other, it exploded in fire. I don’t know if others will come too. But I worry others coming to harm her. And she is hurt, she needs to be protected and try to heal. Even in the battle, the other used his light to cut her wing off and after she killed her foe, all she had to do was lay over her wing and her wing reattached to her and grew back! She was hurt in the battle and was able to heal herself by just putting her hands over her own wounds. She…she’s clearly a goddess of some kind. She’s a healer. If she could teach me or any of us how to heal like her, imagine, no one else in our village dying of anything other than being old?” He mused.

“Wow, well that would be quite the miracle.” She mused, although, not quite believing him before his door was knocked on and all the kids of the village were at his door.

“A star is in your house?” They asked eagerly once he opened his door.

“Yes but she’s sleeping and resting. Please, let her rest and sleep and don’t bother her ok?” He tried to gently tell them as Tara moved past him to leave his humble home.

“Come, help me gather more things for her. Let’s try to find her some pretty flowers ok?” She urged them as she walked out and pulled them with her to leave him in peace.

All Rukt could do was cook the bone broth and waited for Shea to wake up.

But as the day stretched on, he was getting more and more worried and anxious that she was still not waking up.

When his own mother lay dying in that same bed, he remembered having to feed her and so he propped Shea up just enough so that when he would spoon broth into her mouth, she wouldn’t choke. But while he could get a few spoonfuls of broth down without her choking, still she would not wake up. But once he fed her, her wings pulled back into her and her back seemed to suck them in so that she looked more or less like a person. But once she turned her head away from the spoon, even in sleep, that seemed to be his cue to not feed her anymore before she seemed to seek out his warmth before he found his arms had wrapped around her once he put the bowl down on the bedside table before she hummed and murmured in her sleep. Her voice, while hoarse, was still heavenly as it seemed she settled back into sleep. He tried to settle her back down but the moment he stopped touching her, her face contorted in pain and she whimpered and seemed to thrash like she was with fever.

So he quickly did all he could to set his home for the next day before he returned to her side in the bed and the moment his touch came upon her, she stopped and instead, even in sleep sought him out until he was lying next to her and her body was wrapped around his under the covers.

He blushed deeply when his body reacted to hers. But he was mortal after all, and still a man. Of course he would find the divine appealing and attractive. He did his best to ignore his sexual need. For he knew it was wrong to engage in such things, especially with a divine who was still sleeping and could not invite such advances while awake. Besides, she had saved his life by saving him from that exploding star house. He needed to pay that life debt back to her.

Eventually though, his own body needed rest and he fell asleep with Star Shea still in his arms.

But to his dismay, she did not wake up the next day, nor the day after that and he prayed to all of his gods for help and wisdom to assist their fallen. He would still try to feed her bone broth while she slept. And she still sought out his person whenever he was near. But still, she would not wake.

Finally on the fourth day, she finally awoke in the middle of the night as he woke up to feeling her hands explore his body before his body reacted before her wings sprouted and they lit up to illuminate them before she pushed away from him and out of the bed and onto the floor with a small shout of surprise.

“Star Shea, Star Shea! It’s ok. You’re ok, you’re safe.” He immediately came out of the bed and around it to kneel on the floor in front of her where she was sitting, her wings out and covering her person, except to leave a small view of her face.

“You have been sleeping for three days and four nights. You sought me out so I stayed as close as you wanted me to stay.” He tried to explain but it was clear she didn’t understand a word he was saying.

“It’s ok. It’s just me. Rukt.” He said as he gestured to himself.

“Rukt.” She finally responded.

“Yes Rukt. And you’re Shea. Remember? You came down here in a star house? You battled another star?” He tried to prompt her memory but she just shook her head and he could tell she couldn’t remember as she tried asking questions but because she didn’t speak his language, he couldn’t tell what she was asking him about. But all he could do was move to sit down so his lower legs weren’t numb.

“I don’t know what you’re saying.” He offered apologetically.

“You- Star Shea, came from the stars. You came down with purple light sticks that you must have pulled from your wings and put them back in once you used the feathers as weapons. You battled another with red light. You screamed light. Your house crashed on the ground.” He tried to tell her but she could only reply with the same apologetic tone he had used when he told her he couldn’t understand her as she seemed to get frustrated and upset that they couldn’t understand each other.

She began to be in pain and held her head in her hands before he crawled closer to her, careful not to touch her glowing wings, just in case they had that same power that the weapons did when she wielded them on their own.

She was crying again. Holding her head before her wings fell back and slowly stopped glowing before he crept closer until he sat next to her before she let her head fall and rest on his knee as he could do little but pet her head as that seemed to soothe her as her wings once again receded into her back and then, in the darkness she seemed to turn and crawl into his lap. Wrapping herself around him once more as he simply tried to soothe her and gently rocked her the same way a mother would to a newborn babe before she fully relaxed and then fell back asleep before he had to pick her up once more and put them both back into bed, kissing the crown her head as he could just hold her and cry that she was in pain and scared. And wondered how he’d feel if he fell from his world into another, who probably by comparison was primitive to his own. And a primitive being did the best they could to take care of him. Hopefully, in the morning, she would remember. And once she would be well enough, he would take her back to her house, and try to get her to remember who and what she was.

The next morning, he awoke to her already up and exploring his home.

“Good morning Shea.” He greeted before she turned and smiled shyly back at him. She was no longer wearing her cloak with it’s special things inside, and instead, simply in a different garment. One that wasn’t torn the way her old one had been as she was appreciating the art he had painted on his own walls as she traced held up the very flowers and herbs that were painted there, up to his drawings, to compare them as he got up and got dressed before he joined her and then gave her the names of the different healing herbs she had in her hands and pointed to the corresponding thing painted on his walls. Which were, in essence, recipes for medicine as she pointed out all the other times that herb was used in different medicine.

She slowly began to repeat the names of the plants and then she was going around, trying to learn his words for walls, ceiling, roof, house, table, chair, pot, spoon, food, broth, soup. He was Rukt. She was Shea. Well it was a start. And now that she was awake and now feeding herself and using gestures to find the right words to communicate with him. Like she was a foreign bride, learning the words of her new foreign husband. But when she would go to stand, she would have pain where she had first been injured as he tried to tell her and explain to her that she had been hurt. But it was clear, that was too much for her.

But since she was still injured, he dare not try to lead her through the woods to where her crashed home once was. Surely nothing would happen to it while she rested and recovered.

He moved his things to the other room in the house. That he had built and kept for his aged mother when she had been alive and living with him before she got so sick, he moved her to the main area of the house. But for now, she deserved the best spot in the house to rest and recover as it seemed she was relieved once he kept his distance from her person now that she was awake.

“I must go hunt for more food.” He tried to explain but she couldn’t understand him. So he left and got his aunt, his mother’s sister, and brought her over ot his house.

“I need to hunt for more food. Can you watch her while I’m away? She’s still hurt and I don’t want her to hurt herself worse.” He requested.

“Of course.” She readily agreed.

“Star Shea, I’m Tara, I’m Rukt’s aunt. I’m gonna stay with you ok? He needs to go hunt. But he will be back.” Tara tried to tell her.

“Tara- will watch you while I go hunting.” Rukt tried to use gestures to communicate what he was saying before she nodded and put her cloak back on, leaving the little things covered in odd symbols behind as she seemed like she was ready to go with him.

“No, Shea, you, you’re hurt. You stay here, and sleep, rest. Tara stay here with you. I go alone.” He tried to say before he gently touched where she had been hurt before she simply took the cloak off and instead pointed to the floor.

“Stay here.” Shea repeated.

“Yes, you stay here, with Tara. I go.” He said as he then grabbed his weapons and other gear and put it on and left the two of them there so he could go hunting as others seemed to come together to do the same task.

Rukt did what he could to try to steer other’s interest away from his guest and urged them to keep their respectful distance, that she was a star and didn’t belong on the ground with them and was going to go back soon. But to touch her without her consent would surely bring great evils for this was most likely a test from their gods. Thankfully most of them listened to him as they then went to go hunt in a different area than the day before.

Tara did her best to try to learn words from Shea and learn what she could about the special things Shea had once been in her cloak’s hood. But Shea simply looked at them on Rukt’s table and it was like she was seeing them for the fist time. She knew the inscriptions on the small things. But she couldn’t explain what they did or anything. Or even how they worked. So Tara simply put them into a basket as Shea could do little but trace the symbols on them, staring at them as if they would come to life and tell her what they were or who or what she was.

However, it seems that some of the hunting party had been successful and had brought the small game they had killed and brought it to Rukt's house, specifically to give to Shea, but were not pleased that Tara was there and watching over her.

But many tried to offer her marriage if they could continue to provide for her before Tara chastised them for asking such things when she didn’t even know the basics of their language and they didn’t know hers! Tara did her best to keep them from overwhelming Shea and keep them out of the house until Rukt returned.

However, as the day turned to night, Tara began to get quite nervous as she tried to busy herself with cleaning up Rukt’s house as Shea tried to help her clean the house too as Tara just stared at his grain jar and was sad when there wasn’t a whole handful of grain to make bread with. Not even a roll.

“Why sad?” Shea asked before Tara showed Shea the mostly empty grain jar.

“It’s supposed to be full. It’s empty. Not enough to even make a roll of bread with.” She tried to tell her.

“More?” Shea asked as she reached in and picked them up.

“Yes, he needs more.” Tara nodded before Shea seemed to remember something and went back to one of her devices and placed a small handful of the grain seeds on a small surface and suddenly it lit up and began to speak to her as if a small person was in the small machine before Shea pressed something on it and then brought it over and turned it over before a torrent of grain came out the device until the jar was about to overflow as Tara just stared in shock at it.

“A miracle!” Tara exclaimed when she saw it and put her hands under it to catch the overflow of grain before Shea had the small box stop.

Tara couldn’t help but cry tears of relief to see it before she readily gathered every precious grain and together they went to the grinding stone to grind it into flour to make bread for hopefully Rukt would come home soon.

Shea seemed happy and pleased that she could help as she helped grind the grains down into flour to make bread with her as they made a large loaf and used some fermenter to ferment the loaf and once it had fermented, they put it into a bread pan in the fire. Just as Rukt came back with a large kill over his shoulders.

“You are so blessed!” Tara praised once Rukt came into the house, tired and dirty from killing the large wilderbeast and hauling it home by himself since the others were content with their smaller game and had headed back long before he did because he was not about to come home to his aunt or Shea- empty handed.

“I am?” Rukt asked.

“Looked what Star Shea did to your grain jar!” Tara brought him over once he put the carcass down on the table.

“I didn’t want her working! How hard did she work to gather this much wild grain?” He asked in astonishment.

“She didn’t! One of her magic boxes gave you all this grain! All she needed was just a few heads of grain and put it in one of her boxes and it miraculously gave her more! So much so that it overflowed! Look at the loaf of bread just from the excess that wouldn’t fit!” She explained as she brought him to the fire to see the loaf of bread as Shea was seemed to take one of his knives and was already cutting the meat from the bones of what he had killed but had slowed and was simply looking at him, hoping he approved.

“Thank you Shea, for the miraculous grain. You didn’t have to. I should have had it full.” He offered to Shea who took a moment to nod and smile, happy he liked her gift as she simply took his much larger hand with both of hers and simply hugged it for a moment before she went back to trying to carve out the different muscles off of the wildebeest.

“She is too cute. She’s much smarter than I think we can understand. Her language. It’s more than just words said. As far as I can tell. They are able to use symbols and then see the symbols and know what something is without having to be told what it is. By the way, the other men in the village came to try to court her. I turned them away. They may need you to enforce her safety. I do not trust that she can leave your house and remain unmolested.” Tara revealed.

“Who?” Rukt asked.

“All the others that had small game today. The moment they made a kill of any kind or size, they came to offer them to her. And while she accepted them. I know she does not understand them or their intentions. It’s like she’s still pure and as innocent as a child.” Tara mused.

“Well, she needs to go back to the stars once she heals. Until then she is always safe here.” He vowed.

“I know Rukt. You are a good man. Your mother and father would be proud of you.” She tried to praise as the commendation brought tears to their eyes.

“Thank you.” He whispered.

“You’re welcome.” Tara tried to say before she went to leave, leaving Shea to finally speak and try to protest and instead gave her all the kills that had been brought to her and even took the hood of her cloak and ripped it off of the cloak and used the jar to fill it with grain and tied it off before she put the small box back into the now mostly empty jar to refill as she brought it to her.

“You, yours Tara.” Shea tried to say as she gave the things to Tara.

“Oh darling, I have my own. I don’t need…” Tara began to say before the grain jar began to overflow, making Shea’s wings spring out of her back and jump across the room in a single bound to get the device to shut it off.

“Yours, thanks, you watching me- Rukt go hunting.” Shea tried to explain once she came back over to her and helped pile on the small birds and things that had been killed and put them on top of the sack of grain.

“Ok, ok.” Tara finally caved and used her own clothes to put the sack of grain and other kills into it to carry it back to her own house.

“Thank you Tara.” Shea repeated once she used her wings to jump up in the air so she was eye level with Tara before she kissed Tara’s cheek sweetly before gravity pulled her back down to the ground.

“Aww, thank you Star Shea.” Tara thanked her.

“I’ll be back tomorrow. To make sure everything is still ok.” Tara offered before she left, and practically strut back to her own humble house to make herself dinner from what had been killed and the grain that Shea had given her. And in Tara’s opinion, it was the best bread she had ever had in her life. Not a single stone or piece of chaff in it.

Rukt did his best to sit at the table with Shea and butcher his kill as he put the best parts on the spit to cook on the fire and once he got the bones free of the meat, he roasted them in the fire and then put them into the pot before he left to get more water to refill the pot up to full as Shea simply watched him go and then was at the door when he was back, almost as if she was afraid to leave his home. Which, considering the conduct of the others from the clan village, she had good reason to be weary.

But that night, he went to go to bed, but Shea made a noise once he shut the door before he opened the door again.

“What?” He asked but the words she said, he still couldn’t understand as she fought to try to remember the words Tara had taught her but none of them would communicate what she wanted or needed. So he simply kept the door open and got into bed. Inwardly cursing for not building this bed up more so it was more comfortable. But she deserved the better bed.

But he barely had his eyes closed before he heard movement and opened his eyes to see Shea, wearing the blanket like a cloak and creeping into the room but she froze when he looked at her before he sat up.

“Are you cold?” He asked and she pulled the blanket around her tighter but seemed hesitant to take another step.

“Here, have this one too.” He tried to give her his other blanket but she refused and instead came around between his bed and the wall and looked at him laying in the bed and then up at him, trying to find the words.

“This bed is not big enough for both of us.” He gently broke it to her.

“Other bed, big, big you me bed.” She tried to say as she nodded to where his other bed was in the house.

“You want me to sleep with you in the other bed and keep you warm?” He guessed.

“You bed, me bed, sleep bed.” She tried to say as she reached out to take his hand and then tug gently towards the other bed.

“Fine, ok, ok, I’m coming, I’m coming, the bed is as hard as a boulder.” He sighed as he let her lead him back to his bed as she spread the blanket out over the bed and then pulled it down just enough so she could gently move him to at least sit on the bed before he let her gently push him back father to lay down in the bed before she pulled the blanket up over him and then hopped over him to the other side of the bed and quickly get under the covers- just to cleave to his side, and move his arm to rest around her as she hugged his body.

“Hot body.” She said before he couldn’t help but snort a laugh.

“Thanks.” He thanked her as his body welcomed the feeling of his own familiar, comfortable bed and began to relax. Although, she did fit really nicely into his side. And he found her presence, quite soothing and calming, as if, all the work he had done so far, was well worth it.

Things continued like this for a few days more. He would go out hunting. But she would stay behind, clean the house, even miraculously getting more and more soap to clean herself and him and the home with. As they both tried to learn more and more of the other’s language.

The only box she had a name for was a copier. It’s how she could copy so many heads of grain for bread. But she needed to let the little machine “eat” in a sense. And let it “eat” his trash and trimmings. But that was the only device she knew that worked or how it worked. She could read in her language what the other things were. But how to work them, didn’t come easy for her.

But she started to use up a small wall in his home to write down her language in. And was trying to use it to write down his language, but using her letters and symbols. It was actually really nice because she could write down other words and as she learned them, she would pair them with the corresponding word in her language. She taught herself more and more words.

But the more time went on, the more interest she garnered every time he opened his doors and his neighbors would get glimpses of her. Tara was still the only one he trusted to leave alone with her. But Tara taught her to politely refuse other’s gifts and advances as it seemed Tara helped Shea understand what the others were saying. And the moment the others brought up courting her or marrying her, Shea would firmly tell them no, give them whatever they had tried to give her and then push them out of his house, with a lot more strength and force than they were expecting a little being like her to have.

One thing he noted was how much she tended to want to keep a part of her touching him whenever he was with her. Whether it was one of her wings resting over his own back while they sat together at the table, was her favorite. Or her hand resting on his arm as he resharpened his weapons and tools.

But even once she had healed, she tried to leave his house, only to get bombarded and swarmed by others and would get overwhelmed and retreated back into the house and behind him. And instead found that she could not leave his house without him, keeping him between everyone else as the other men in the clan began to complain that he had made her his wife. And that she was the only young woman in the village and that he needed to share her. Which, he promptly shut down. Forcefully.

Once such occasion, another had tried to grab her and instead, her wings had come out and formed a cocoon around her that fell to the ground that was too slippery for them to grab as he had no choice but to answer such an act of disrespect with violence, the offender’s severed limb falling over her before he moved the arm off of her and gently had to tap it and call to her for her to come out again. But once he did. She moved and saw how the other was crying and cursing before she launched herself into his arms and wrapped her wings around them both before he was amazed when he could see through her wings around them. As if her wings were armor, that was see through like ice. He brought them home before she finally retreated her wings but would not let him go and instead, healed the small wound the other had inflicted.

“You should be healing the other guy.”

“Other- not good man. You good man. You need healing. I heal you but only you and only Tara. I trust you I trust Tara.” Shea tried to explain before was healed with relative ease before she hugged his head and kissed it sweetly before he hugged her back.

From then on, she didn’t leave his house unless it was with him as she wanted to go with him on these hunts once she had healed and learned to ask to go with him that is.

She was quite the huntress. With her wings she could fly up into the trees and use them like any other hawk to see game from a height and then would fly back down to him and direct him to where different game was. She killed many geese in the air and turkeys in the trees and brought them back to him and made pillows from the feathers after she washed them. And was delighted she could even sit on his shoulders to use him like a vantage point to see around better.

But she would get nervous around the fogs and the mists. And would not let him lead her to where her home was. And instead avoided the mists and fogs whenever she could.

Then once one week bled into two, she kept asking him one thing. She would gesture to him and then to herself and then the bed.

“You and I sleep in that bed.” He tried to explain.

But she didn’t seem satisfied with that answer but stopped asking when that was the only answer he would give her.

But it seemed that every day, they would wake up to more and more men from the village coming with greater and greater courting gifts for her. But she would decline them as best she could before Tara reappeared and Shea brought her into the house and tried asking the same question about the bed to Tara but she kept using a word.

“What is that word?” Tara asked as Shea appreciated the new clothes given to her by Tara, who had made her a more or less “proper” outfit- in her hands and left to go change from what she was wearing, into them.

“I have no idea. She still doesn’t remember who or what she is. She still doesn’t remember that she’s a star from the sky. She doesn’t remember the battle. She doesn’t remember anything before. And her head hurts her every time she tries to remember.” Rukt answered in a whisper as he roasted one of the geese in the spit.

“I think she assumes that you’re married. I only looked at my husband the way she has been looking at you.” Tara hinted as Rukt nearly choked on his own spit.

“But, but, but…” He sputtered.

“Well, until she remembers, be a good one to her.” Tara encouraged him.

How? She is too small to have sexual relations with.” He whispered, as if Shea would know what he was talking about all of a sudden.

“I don’t know. But I will pray for you both.” Tara offered before Shea came out and seemed to ask something.

“You look very pretty.” Tara reassured her.

“Pretty? Me? Shea Pretty?” Shea asked with a happy smile.

“Yes, very much so.” Tara smiled knowingly before she gave Rukt a meaningful look.

“Yes, you’re very beautiful.” He offered as the garment hung off of her and had to be tied with ties to fit her smaller body. She looked like a small child wearing the garments of a larger parent. But from the way her body was built, he could only assume she must have been adult size for a star.

“Beautiful?” She repeated.

“Beautiful means, very, very pretty.” Tara explained.

“Rukt says Shea very very pretty beautiful?” Shea asked in delight.

“Yup.” They both nodded as she seemed quite pleased with that and then kissed the top of his head before she sat back down again next to him which caused him to blush even more.

“Oh my, well let me give you guys some privacy.” Tara offered with a giggle.

“No! She…she has no idea what she’s alluding to. And I could hurt her if I try to…” Rukt tried to argue before he turned to see Shea look downcast and dejected and rejected before she slunk away and went to the other room and changed out of the garment and got redressed in what she was wearing and brought it back to Tara.

“No, Honey, it’s for you. It’s for you.” Tara tried to argue.

“Rukt no like me wear it.” She tried to explain.

“No, I do! You can keep it. I’m sorry, we were not talking about you wearing it.” Rukt tried to gently push her hands still holding it back to her.

“You’re still very pretty, very beautiful. No matter what you wear. I like you. I like you wearing this. If you want to wear it, wear it.” He tried to explain to her.

“I’m sorry. My…my reaction is to her. Not you.” He clarified.

“She give me present and you no like?” Shea tried to ask.

“No, I do like it. It’s very nice.” He reassured her.

“What, me, you no like?” She asked him.

“I like you just fine. I like everything you wear. Tara just had an idea about us.” He tried to gesture to his head.

“Tara idea no like?” She tried to repeat.

“Tara idea that you and I -no sleep in bed with?” She tried to ask.

“Sure.” Rukt finally caved.

“So this, my bed?” She asked as she gestured back to her garment in his hands.

“No, this your clothes, you still sleep in that bed.” He tried to patiently gesture.

“Shea, my idea, is you and Rukt sleep in bed as mates. Marriage mates.” She tried to explain before she tried to gesture it herself.

“Yes! Shea asks Rukt marriage mates!” Shea confirmed, relieved that that word was what she had been wanting from Rukt.

“But Rukt not want marriage mate with me?” Shea asked as Rukt then felt like a frog caught in the light of a torch at night.

“No I do. But- you are so small, and I’m so big. I…I afraid to hurt you. You are already hurt.” He tried to explain.

“He’s afraid to accidentally hurt you.” Tara tried to explain.

“Oh. But Rukt no hurt me.” Shea tried to say.

“That’s right Rukt would never hurt you. He is very, very gentle with you. No hurt. Only help.” Tara offered.

“Gentle Rukt?” She repeated and Tara couldn’t help it.

“Aww, see? You’ll be just fine. Just be Gentle Rukt. Congratulations.” Tara cooed happily as Rukt about wanted to die of embarrassment as he was still trying to figure out how he was going to try to talk his way out of this, before she got up and left, leaving him scrambling and feeling scared about being left alone with Shea, now she had the right word for what she had been asking for and he was terrified to give her what she was asking for.

“But...? Buh...but...?" He sputtered at Tara and looked anxiously from Tara to Shea's general direction back to Tara, pleading in looks what he didn't have the heart or courage to put into words.

"Just be Gentle Rukt. That's all you need to do." Tara pat his cheek sweetly before she saw herself out.

"Thanks for the garment Tara.” He still had to politely thank her.

“It’s a wedding present.” Tara shrugged and then locked his door before she left his home.

“Fuck.” Rukt breathed as he brought his hands up to a praying motion in front of his mouth and closed his eyes as he practically curled in on himself as he tried to continue to figure out a way to talk Shea out of wanting him.

“Gentle Rukt?” Shea asked.

“Yes Shea?” He answered before he opened his eyes to see her naked before him.

Gentle Rukt bed?” She asked before she took his hand and tried to lead him to the bed. But he was shocked still and just stared at her clearly, divine form.

Oh he was so screwed.

What if he really did hurt her?

Gentle Rukt.” She cooed and suddenly, his body was no longer his to control. It reacted without his permission. And he had picked her up and was kissing her as she seemed pleased as she wrapped her legs around him and kissed him back.

Gentle Rukt.” She cooed between kisses.

He could about break the bed fucking her into oblivion. But just like any man who takes a virgin, he need to go slow and stay in control of himself as she tried to take his clothes off as he managed to sit down on the bed and take his shirt off as she pushed him to lay back and sat over his hips, rubbing herself on his iron hard cock. Oh may all the other gods and goddesses forgive him for what was to happen next.

She managed to untie his pants and his cock sprang up and he closed his eyes and winced. Fearing she would see him and fear it was far too big to use.

“Gentle Rukt, open eyes, see me.” Shea gently urged as she moved to sit over his belly before he cracked an eye open to look at her.

“No hurt.” She repeated as she slowly began to scoot back as they both seemed to take a deep breath in and then used his cock to open herself up and the scent of her womanhood made his mouth water. She smelled amazing and had already tasted amazing.

To his shock and surprise, she slowly began to ease down, as her own pelvis seemed to get bigger, like a set of jaws opening to eat. As it was suddenly clear that her pelvis worked like a mouth opening. Her pelvis seemed to get wider so her womanly canal opened up to sheathe him inside until his cock completely disappeared into her. But to his delight he could see her belly bulge with his manhood inside her. She looked heavy with child. And if her pelvis could open up to receive him, maybe it wouldn’t kill her to carry his babes. And then she started to use her knees resting over his pelvis to rock up and down and back and forth over him and all he could do was settle his large hands over her now, larger hips and watch as his cock bulged her belly the more she moved around it and once it was clear that sex with her was not only possible, but incredibly pleasurable, he couldn’t help but roll them over pin her down into the bed and really stroke himself into her as she clung to him, keeping her head as the crux of his neck and shoulder as her little hands held onto his shoulders before he picked her up and practically used her like a cocksleeve.

But the keening cries of bliss from her mouth and moans only added to his own grunting growls before he roared in completion to fill her with his seed and watched in awe as every pump only made her belly distend that much more as her body glowed and it was clear she had gotten her pleasure from him too. By the same miracle that allowed her to take him in the first place.

Once he finished and she began to glow less, he tried to gently move her over so he could lay down beside her once more before his cock softened and finally slid from her, allowing the torrent of seed he had just pumped into her to come gushing out of her as her pelvis seemed to close like a mouth closing around food so that her belly stayed looking pregnant before too much more of the seed could escape her womb.

Oh he was so in so much trouble with the other stars, the other gods and goddesses for this. Laying with divine? Grounds for divine punishment.

But, it had been worth it.

She was worth it.

“Gentle Rukt.” She cooed once she nuzzled up into his chest before he hugged and held her.

“I’ll always be your gentle Rukt.” He promised her as he kissed her forehead before she craned her head up and kissed him on the lips, letting his tusks frame her own mouth and gently brush up against her cheeks as she kissed him sweetly before cuddling back into his chest and happy to have his arms wrapped around her so tightly.

Should he feel guilty?

Probably.

But did that stop him from suddenly have a wave of possessiveness over her start to build?

Nope.

She was his Shea. His Star of Purple.

That would always be more than enough.

When they awoke, he found wedding gifts from everyone in the village, obviously they approved of her addition to the clan and the village. She seemed happy to accept them and say thanks as she really applied herself to learning more and more of his language, his culture, his gods and goddesses and how to worship them properly. But she always seemed to be watching him and the others, the way they talked to each other. The kindness and generosity they shared with each other as she seemed to settle in just fine. And even once she beyond fully healed and no longer had headaches, even though she still couldn't remember anything before waking up in his bed. She was happy to help him with whatever he wanted to do. But the guilt of what she really was and who she really was seemed to eat at him as he barely managed to make it a few more months before he tried to bring her back to where her ship had crashed. But to his shock. It wasn’t there anymore. It had been moved! Or vanished or…something.

Not even the remains of the other was there!

“Why are we here Rukt?” She asked him.

“This is where your house used to be, this is where it fell from the skies.” He answered as he looked around and then reorintated himself to know he was in the right spot, but it clearly wasn't there.

“But there’s nothing here, but a hole.” She contested.

“It was of metal. But it was on fire last time I saw it.” He tried to tell her.

“Then it must have burned up. But thank you for marrying me and making me your wife anyway. Even as different as I am to you.” She offered as she hugged his arm.

“Of course. I love you. I’m happy to have you as a wife. I just…I can’t help but feel like you should be up there with the other stars.” He admitted as he gave the sky a broken hearted look.

I don’t. Obviously, there is a lot of danger up there. And if the stars battle the way you told me, I did. Coming down to you was obviously the best thing I could have done. You keep me safe from the other stars who would mean me harm.” She thanked him.

“But you haven’t done anything to warrant it. You’re perfectly lovely. I can’t imagine why any other star would ever find anything of fault in you, especially anything that would ever be enough to battle you over.” He reassured her.

“Thank you. But it’s clear the gods and goddesses felt I should be down here with you. To live with you. Only you saw me crash here, and the gods must have chosen you as my mate. Maybe the other star was an old lover of mine, not wanting me to answer the call to come down here to be your wife.” She reasoned.

“Maybe.” Was all he could answer with.

“I’m happy with their choice. I’m happy with my choice to marry you of my own once you proved yourself a good husband, feeding me and protecting me and caring for me, even when I could not care for myself. You’re a good man Rukt. I love you and maybe one day, we will have a little one of our own. A child of our own to prove to the world that stars are people too. And not just some god of little understanding. But…I wish I could have kept my ability to heal.” She murmured, since the more she stayed indoors, the less of that ability she had. And it got to the point that none of her little boxes would work. No matter what she tried before she put them into a small basket she weaved herself and stuffed under the bed and her ability to heal faded to nothing after she had healed him last to the point she couldn't even heal him or Tara anymore.

“Even if such powers never come back. That doesn’t make you any less worthy of care and love. Especially by me.” Rukt reassured her as he held her little hand in his own and kissed her forehead as she kissed him back sweetly.

“I know. I just wish I could help others more. They welcomed me so warmly. And were so generous with me, even when I had no way to pay them back for such generosity. So if I can just help you hunt and gather. Then that will be enough.” Shea sighed before they left and returned home.

Rukt though, was sad to see her start to wipe away her old words and her old language.

“Please don’t.” He requested as he put his hand over hers before she started sniffling and crying, urging him to sit on the floor with her.

“What if it doesn’t come back? What if none of my memories come back? What if this language dies with my forgotten memories?” She cried as she stared at her letters on his wall.

“You are still using your letters to write down my language. You are the first to do such things. I’m sure one day, you will want to teach these letters and their sounds and the words and their meanings to our little one- one day. Don’t erase it just yet. In fact, take down all the other art on the wall. And write down everything you can remember. Everything you’ve learned. So that maybe our own children will be so learned, they will be able to leave signs and messages for their kids and grandkids for generations to come.” He tried to soothe.

“But it’s been months. I am not with child yet. We have sex nearly every day. And I’m still not pregnant. And I feel like, my connection to you and to this place needs to be stronger and run deeper than it already is. To everyone outside of this house. I’m still a strange outsider. And what if I’m the only star to ever come down? What if I will never see any other like me for the rest of my life? What then?” She asked.

“Then you will still be my wife. You will still be my Shea. My Star. The only one I’ll ever love. And our love is enough. Our life and our experiences will be enough. For who knows. You might outlive even the younger ones and live long enough to see the little ones grow up to get children and grandchildren of their own one day. And you will be aunt to them all. You will still be my everything to me.” He offered as he held her delicate and oh so pretty face in his hands, feeling like he had to be careful for surely a squeeze too tight might pop her head in his palm by accident before she moved to his lap to kiss him desperately.

“You are still my everything to me too.” She vowed before they just had sex right there on the floor. Such actions now second nature to them both as they had learned to please each other now much better and easier as had learned exactly what it took to give her her pleasure with his cock, his hands and even his mouth on her sex.

Once she came on his cock, her wings still sprouting and still having the faintest of glows. She recovered and just wanted to be held as he was happy to simply have her sit in his lap as he just held her and pet down her and her wings. The wonderfully soft things they were.

The next day they went on another hunt and she went to fly up to the skies to get a good look around before she immediately dove down for the ground and right at him.

“Ah!” He yelped as he caught her, but the force of her flying to his arms, put them both down into the dirt and knocked the air out of his lungs.

“Rukt! We need to go home! We need to go home now!” She yelled as she tried to use the last of her inner light to heal him so he could get up and run with her back home.

“What’s wrong?” Rukt asked once he got the air back in his lungs and coughed and sputtered.

“The Empire is here!” She exclaimed before it seemed that that was what triggered all of her memories to come back as she clung to her own head and started crying and screaming as it seemed all of it came back before she heard the sound of the other airship descend into the atmosphere.

“Rukt. I need you to run home right now. I need you to get everyone in the village together and hide them in their own homes. Do not let anyone out. For they will be killed if they are seen.” She said as she pulled him up to stand on his feet.

“Go, go now!” She yelled as she pushed him back towards the village.

“I’m not going home without you!” He argued as he grabbed his sword.

“Rukt. That is an Inquisitor. That’s who I was fighting the last time. I’m a Jedi Padawan. There was just an order to kill all Jedi in the universe and I managed to escape here. They will kill everyone on the planet and destroy this whole planet just to kill me. I’m the only one who can fight them. Because I’m the only one with this.” Shea explained in a pained expression before she pulled glowing feathers from her wings to make that beam of light he had first seen.

“No. I’m your husband and mate. I can wield a sword just like you can. I may not be as graceful as you. But I can fight better than anyone else I know.” Rukt argued before she used her beam of light and went to cut off the tip of his sword but blinked in surprise when it didn’t cut through.

“Wait a moment, hold that up as if you are going to fight me.” She urged him before he did as she asked as she put her beam of light up to it and found that it held it’s own against her weapon.

“What iron is this?” She asked.

“Metal iron? When we find the rainbow ore in the ground and we make a super fire to melt it down and then we dig special cuts into the ash and the metal pools into the cuts to make the metal. But then we have to sharpen the iron. And we have to use other weapons of it to do so- so that the iron sharpens other iron.” He explained.

“This has to be bescar or something in that family.” She realized.

“Ok, if you will not go home. At least hide and let me fight them off. If it looks like they will kill me, come to my rescue. But not before. Stay hidden until I need you.” She urged him to hide as she brought him to a good hiding place.

“Hide here. They will come to me.” She urged him as she got away far enough that they would hopefully not see him.

But when the ship landed, a few people came off, who were wearing what she did when she first came before they caught sight of her and called out to her.

But she hesitated in going to them but bent over and seemed to catch her breath as she got over the adrenaline coursing like the wild rapids through her body as she turned her weapons off and put them back into her wings and instead came back to him.

“It’s ok. It’s my friends. They are not what I thought they were. It’s ok. It’s safe to come out. Please, come out. I want you to meet them.” She invited as she pulled him out and the moment they saw him, they stopped and stared up at him as he felt a little shy as he let her lead him over to them before they slowly came forward to meet her and him halfway as once they were close enough, she let go of his hand to embrace them, their wings coming out to wrap around her and hers as they were all crying and happy to be reunited. All of them as little and pretty as she was and talking and chatting excitedly to each other as she told them what had happened to her since she saw them last before she used that same word again, a word that now he understood was ‘mate for life’ when she had used it before. Then they took her back to the ship as she walked onboard and seemed so happy to be there and sit in the much smaller chairs that fit her body better and remember of all the things she had had before. And asked what had happened to her old ship. And apparently while she was still sleeping, The Empire had came and taken her broken wreck and what was left of the inquisitor and assumed the two had killed each other. But would not “interfere” with the otherwise worthless and primitive planet.

But instead, had cleared the planet and had moved on. Which was why they came, to see if it was true and see if she really had not left any trace and surely that she would have left her wings if she had.

But that’s when she began to almost argue? By the best that Rukt could tell. With them. She told them about the metal of his weapons and even took his sword and showed it to them before they examined it more closely and their eyes got bigger and happier.

See? The people here are good people. Granted, not as advanced as I would like. But this iron is still good and still worth something. We need to set up something of an outpost or a safe haven for the others and we need to protect the natives. But let the Empire continue to overlook this place. But let other Jedi come here for refuge.” She encouraged them in her language.

We will need to dig to find more ore. But once we find a good supply. We can refine it and make proper suits of armor for ourselves. And even more lightsabers with it.” The others urged her. Before they used a secure channel and sent a message out and gave her yet another small device as she took it and cradled it to her chest like it was a baby.

“Come, I’ll show you where you can park this ship to keep it safe but still keep it accessible to us.” She urged them before she flew outside of the ship and guided it back- just outside of the settlement as Rukt followed them on foot before she invited them to their house and showed them the coziness and comfort they had and then introduced them to his aunt Tara and the others in the village as suddenly all the other bachelors who had shown interest in her, found her “sisters” just as appealing and just as beautiful as Shea was.

But to Rukt, there was no other being in the world prettier or more beautiful than his Shea, his star of purple. She used the small box to “recharge” the other “devices”. She had. And thanks to the recharge. Could now properly work and function for her. As she immediately used them to create what she felt his home was missing and needed as she used up a special “fuel” to use them. But she seemed to be restored to full power as she would not stop jumping up to kiss him over and over again.

“I still love you. And I’m still your wife and you’re still my husband. My other “sisters” coming to me, doesn’t change that and will never change that either. While it’s true that I came from the stars, I’m not an actual star myself. Or a god or goddess. Just a person with different characteristics than you. That’s all. Thank you though, for loving me and caring for me as much and as well as you have.” She thanked him as he hugged her as tight as he dared as she used her wings to hug him back.

“I love you too. I was worried that now that they came, you were going to have to leave with them.” He expressed as his eyes glazed with tears.

“No. Now if we do have to leave, all that I ask is that you come with me ok? Because if something out of our control threatens this world. There are other worlds we can go to and find a new place to call home in. Ok?” She urged.

“Ok. You’ve always been my Star, guiding me home. I’ll follow wherever you will go.” He offered.

“And you’re my family and my home. Wherever your head lies down to rest, is where mine will too.” She offered sweetly before she kissed him again and was just happy and relieved she got to have her past, present and make a future worth living for, with Rukt.
