Chapter 1: Beginning of the Chaos
Chapter Text
Earth-89 - Gotham City
Alexander Knox sat down on the bench at a park. He just sat for a moment before pulling out a Gotham Gazette newspaper from his pocket and read off the headline.
"WayneTech CEO Bruce Wayne to Marry Socialite Selina Kyle"
"Heh. I always thought those two were made for each other," noted Knox.
Before he could read any further, something bizarre happened. The sky turned from black to a crimson red. Knox turned to see the color of the sky as the Bat-Signal started to illuminate on the red sky.
"I hope you're watching, big guy," said Knox.
Earth-9 - San Francisco
Hawk and Robin were patrolling the city, looking for any signs of criminal activity in the area. They had arrived at an old warehouse district and started looking around.
"Are you sure criminals would be here?" asked Robin.
"Of course. Criminals always tend to hide in shitholes like this," said Hawk.
"No offense, but I don't think criminals would be so stupid as to meet in the most obvious sector of the city," said Robin.
"Trust me, Robin. Criminals aren't always the smartest people in the universe," countered Hawk.
Robin simply nodded at the point. Criminals and cops, he's noticed, aren't always as bright as they claim. Perhaps that's why cops and criminals tend to be intertwined, at least back in Gotham. He'd have to investigate on that point at another time.
However, his thought process was interrupted when the sky suddenly turned red. Hawk and Robin both looked at the sky in amazement and curiosity.
"What the hell is that?" asked Robin.
"I have no idea." Hawk pressed a button on his communicator. "Is anyone else seeing this?"
"I'm seeing it," said Starfire.
"What in the world?" asked Beast Boy.
"Raven, is this Trigon again?" asked Nightwing.
"Not that I can tell," said Raven.
Soon, a bright red light started coming towards them.
"J, get down!" exclaimed Hawk.
He shielded Robin from the light as it enveloped them both.
Earth-X - Germany
Ray was flying through the skies of Germany, looking for any Nazi soldiers in the area. He looked around as he turned on his communicator.
"It's all clear in my area. See anything in yours?" asked Ray.
"Nothing here," reported Black Condor.
"Nothing here, either," said Phantom Lady.
"Excellent. That means the Nazis are going underground for the moment. Our work here is done," said Red Tornado.
"Hold your horses, Red. We don't know if, when we leave, the remaining Nazis will surface. I suggest we preform another sweep before-" said Ray.
Suddenly, the sky, much like the skies Earth-89 and Earth-9 before it, turned a crimson red. Ray was surprised as were his teammates if the gasps heard on his communicator were anything to go by.
"Another Nazi plot?" asked Red Tornado.
"I don't know, but let's do this," said Ray.
Ray began firing at the light as his teammates were doing their parts in the other areas. However, things didn't go according to plan.
"My wings, they're malfunctioning. I can't-!" exclaimed Black Condor before screaming.
"My shadows can only block it before I-!" exclaimed Phantom Lady before silence on her end.
"Systems malfunctioning. Rebooting in-!" exclaimed Red Tornado before the sound of destruction came on his end.
"NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOO!" shouted Ray as the light soon enveloped him as well.
Earth-66 - Gotham City
Dick Grayson was having a nice time walking Ace around the city. It was a nice, sunny day in Gotham and it was quite peaceful too. The only thing that would've made it better was if a certain man was still living amongst them.
"Bruce would've loved a day like today, wouldn't he boy?" asked Dick.
Ace merely barked at Dick's question.
"Yeah. It almost makes me wish for the days when Batman and Robin protected this city. Now, this city is too peaceful to need-" said Dick.
Suddenly, the sky had turned a crimson red. People looked up at the sky in fear as Ace barked at the red sky. Dick, however, only had one response.
"Holy crimson skies of death!" exclaimed Dick.

Earth-38 - National City
A man is walking around National City in the middle of the night. He's holding a sign that reads "Prepare to Meet Thy Doom. The End of The World is Nigh". Everyone was running past him for whatever reason, but the man didn't notice
"The end of the world is licking at our heels! Soon, thou shall be not but dust, twisting and writhing in the dead of space! Not even Supergirl will save you from...," ranted the Protester.
The protester's ranting was interrupted when a giant lizard-like creature over 20-feet tall and breathing fire confronted him. The creature directed its fire at him, only for him to be saved by, ironically, Supergirl.
"Get to cover!" exclaimed Supergirl.
The protester hurried off to cover as Supergirl flies up to the creature's face.
"Spike, I need you to calm down. Alana is waiting for you, there's nothing to be scared of," said Supergirl.
Seemingly convinced by Supergirl's words, Spike shrunk down to the size of a small lizard. The protester crawled out of his hiding place as Supergirl picked up the alien lizard.
"What is that thing?" asked the Protester.
"A Dracokardosian," said Supergirl.
"Since when did the Kardashians start making dragons?" asked the Protester.
Supergirl rolled her eyes with a smile before flying off.
D.E.O. National City Headquarters
Supergirl flies into the building and hands Spike over to an agent as Alex and Brainy approaches her.
"What in Rao's name is going on? All of the animals in the city are acting erratically," complains Supergirl.
"We're looking into it," said Alex.
"That we are. Along with our other mysterious phenomenon," said Brainy.
"'Other'?" asked Supergirl.
Brainy looked at his watch and held his hand up as a miniature earthquake occurs. It only lasts a few seconds before things return to normal. Brainy leads them to his computer terminal as Supergirl registers what just happened.
"An earthquake?" asked Supergirl.
"They've been happening all day," said Alex.
"And it's not just happening here; it's happening all over the world. From what our systems could gather, the seismic activity is not coming from within the planet, but from the outside," said Brainy.
"How the hell is that possible?" asked Supergirl.
"The Monitor."
The trio turn to see J'onn J'onzz in the room. Supergirl and Alex go and hug him, bringing a smile to the Martian's face.
"Good to see you too," said J'onn.
"Former Director. While it is good to see you again, what does this have to with The Monitor?" asked Brainy.
"Yeah. I thought he was an Earth-1 problem," said Alex.
"Not anymore. Now, he's a problem for every universe. Last year when he tested us with Deegan and the Book of Destiny, I thought something wasn't right. What's going on now has to do with...," said J'onn.
Suddenly, an alarm went off, causing everyone to do stuff in panic. Brainy typed a few commands into his terminal, causing an image of a red energy wave hurtling through the universe.
"By Rao," muttered Supergirl.
"Fascinating. It's hurtling through space at an impossible speed. I doubt either Superman or Kara could fly that fast," said Brainy.
"How long do we have?" asked Alex.
"At our current estimate, it'll be at the edge of our universe within 5.3 hours. In other words, tomorrow night," said Brainy.
"Is there anything in its path?" asked Supergirl.
"Just one thing," answered Brainy.
Brainy zooms out and the image of Argo City in front of the wave is seen.
"We have to warn them! Now!" exclaimed Supergirl.
Argo City
In their home in the city floating in space, Clark was trying to change Jonathan's diaper while Lois just laughs a little.
"Superman, Savior of the Earth. Having faced the likes of General Zod, Brainiac, and Lex Luthor, he now faces his biggest threat of all: a dirty diaper," joked Lois.
"That going to be your headline, Ms. Lane?" asked Clark.
Lois giggled as Clark taped the diaper on.
"Aha!" exclaimed Clark.
"I'm surprised. From what my mom told me, it took my dad around two hours when he first changed mine," said Lois.
"I did not need that mental image," said Clark.
"Well, you have it now," said Lois.
The two smiled at each other until a holographic image of Supergirl appeared.
"Kara?" asked Clark.
"...Wave... Coming... Out... Now...," stuttered Supergirl.
"Argo's outer protection is interfering with the signal. I'll try and fix the connection," said Lois.
Thankfully, she managed to fix the connection.
"A red energy wave is coming to Argo City! You need to get out of there, now!" warned Supergirl.
The couple looked surprised as the sky turned red and earthquakes begin to occur. Lois grabs Jonathan as the family makes their way to the panicking streets. They are soon met by Alura, who looked as scared as everyone else.
"Aunt Alura, what's going on?" asked Clark.
"I don't know. I didn't think this was even possible," said Alura.
Alura soon got a call and the holographic head of an elder appeared on her communicator.
"Councilor Alura, we need you at the Council building now to discuss...," said the Elder.
He didn't get to finish as the message was abruptly cut. Alura looked at her nephew and niece-in-law in worry.
"Come with me," said Alura.
She led their couple to a room where a pod like the one that sent Clark to Earth was kept.
"This is the last remaining pod we have. Unfortunately, it can only fit one," said Alura.
Clark and Lois immediately look at their son, both knowing their decision.
"I see," said Alura, opening the pod to let Clark and Lois put Jonathan in.
"We love you, son. We always will, not matter what," said Clark.
"We will never leave you, even in the face of our death," said Lois.
Moments later, the pod flies away from Argo City as it is destroyed by the wave.
D.E.O. National City Headquarters
The entire room looks in shock as Argo City is destroyed. Supergirl looks distraught as she watches Argo get destroyed. Alex pulls her sister into a comforting hug. J'onn took a moment to compose himself before looking at Brainy.
"What's next on the energy wave's meal plan?" asked J'onn.
"Judging by the trajectory of the wave, Earth is next," said Brainy.
Notes:
Argo is gone and now Earth is next on the menu.
By the way, the elder that tries to contact Alura is played by Cameron Cuffe, the guy who played Seg-El in Krypton. He was originally planned to play an elder in canon but had to decline due to scheduling difficulties.
Also, interestingly the antimatter wave arrives on the same day, not the following day like Brainy guessed. It's a plot hole that is discussed on the wiki page for the first part of the Crisis crossover.
Chapter Text
Earth-1 - Lian Yu
Oliver and Mia were standing on the island. He smiled at her and she smiled back.
"When I first came to this island, I hated it. I hated the look, the sounds, every damn thing about this place. There were days when I said to myself that if I leave this place, I'd never return," confided Oliver.
"And now?" asked Mia.
"Now, I think I've come to terms with it. I'm almost thankful for my time here," said Oliver.
"Thankful?" asked Mia.
"Yeah. If it wasn't for Lian Yu, I would never have become the man I was destined to be. And I would never had the opportunity to meet my daughter," said Oliver.
"Oh, dad," said Mia.
Oliver pulled his future daughter into a hug. However, the tender moment was interrupted when Lyla arrives, surrounded by the same bright red horizon that engulfed the other worlds.
"Lyla?" asked Oliver.
"Come, Oliver Queen. The Crisis has begun," said Lyla.
Central City
The Flash was running around the city, trying to find out anything that's going on.
"Found anything yet, Cisco?" asked The Flash.
"Negative. Whatever's going on is beyond our sensors," said Cisco.
"Keep looking. There has to be something we're missing," said The Flash.
He kept running, hoping that something would come along and answer what was going on. He suddenly stopped when Lyla suddenly appeared before him.
"Lyla?" asked The Flash.
"It's The Harbinger now. I have come to collect you as the Crisis has begun," said Harbinger.
Gotham City
Batwoman was currently under a lot of gunfire. She threw two Batarangs at the two criminals, disarming them immediately. She grabs one of them and presses him against a nearby van.
"Where is she? Where is Alice?" asked Batwoman.
"T-The old sugar factory." Batwoman glares at him. "I swear I'm telling the truth."
Batwoman lets him go and begins to walk away, but Harbinger appears before her.
"Come, Batwoman. The Crisis has begun," said Harbinger.
"I don't have time for this," said Batwoman.
The hero tried to walk past her, but Harbinger grabs her arm.
"If we do not leave now, all things shall perish," said Harbinger.
Star City
Sara and Ray are at a bar, playing against another duo in a game of trivia.
"Ok contestants, final question. What is the name of the last song Janis Joplin ever recorded?" asked the trivia host.
"I know this one. Mercedes-Benz," answered Sara.
"Wrong answer. Team 2, do you have the right answer?" asked the trivia host.
"We do, indeed. Little Rocket Man," answered the Man.
"Correct!" exclaimed the trivia host.
The opposing duo celebrated their victory as Sara looked confused, and Ray looked a little guilty.
"What? How the hell was that the right answer?" asked Sara.
"So, remember that time we had to stop that unicorn from killing everyone at Woodstock '69?" asked Ray.
"Yeah. That was when Gary's nipple was sent to Hell with the unicorn. Why?" asked Sara.
"When I had to grab a lock Janis Joplin's hair for Constatine's spell, she kind of... saw me and I guess named a song after me," said Ray.
"Ugh. Great. You cost me a beer," said Sara.
"Thought you'd be angrier about me changing history?" asked Ray.
"Eh. Sounds like it was more of an accidental change than a deliberate change. I can let that slide," said Sara.
Ray chuckled at Sara's response. The atmosphere was interrupted when Harbinger arrived in the room. People flee as Sara looks at her.
"Lyla?" asked Sara.
"The Crisis has begun and we must leave. Now," said Harbinger.
Earth-38 - D.E.O. National City headquarters
The room was still in shock over Argo City's destruction when Harbinger appeared in the building. Alex immediately raised her gun and pointed it at her, as did the other agents in the room.
"Hands above your head! Now!" ordered Alex.
"There is no need to be hostile, Dr. Danvers," said Harbinger.
"Are you responsible for this red energy wave going through the universe?" asked Alex.
"I am not, but I can help you defeat the one who is," said Harbinger.
Alex and the rest of the room looked confused until Harbinger snapped her fingers. In an instant, Green Arrow, Blackstar, The Flash, Batwoman, White Canary, The Atom, and, surprisingly, Superman, and Lois Lane appear in the building. Supergirl looked relieved as she went to hug her cousin and cousin-in-law.
"But how...?" asked Supergirl.
"Harbinger saved us as Argo was destroyed," explained Lois.
"Has Jonathan arrived yet? We sent him off in a pod towards Earth," said Superman.
"Not yet. We'll try to track him down," said Supergirl.
Brainy nodded and went to his computer terminal to set things up. White Canary winked flirtatiously at Alex and the doctor blushed in response, remembering the warm night before Barry's wedding.
"So, this' Earth-38. I like it. Very cozy," said The Atom.
"Yeah. It's very nice. Much nicer than the cave that the D.E.O. had the last time I came here," said The Flash.
"'Cave'?" asked The Atom.
"Yeah. Had a lot of bats," said The Flash.
Batwoman looked a bit apprehensive look at her new surroundings, something Supergirl noticed.
"Don't worry, you can trust everyone here. I trust them with my life just as I trust you," said Supergirl.
Believing her words, Batwoman took off her mask and revealed her face.
"Kate Kane," said Batwoman.
After looking at each other for a moment, Green Arrow and Blackstar did the same.
"Oliver Queen," said Green Arrow.
"Mia Smoak," said Blackstar.

The whole "unicorn trying to kill everyone at Woodstock '69" thing was an actual episode of Legends. It was actually the first episode of Season 4, believe it or not. Also, the bat thing that Barry mentions is a real thing as Kara hated the bats in said cave.
Also, who remembers the fact that Alex and Sara had sex the night before Barry's wedding. I don't remember if that was before or after Sara got with Ava Sharpe, but it's still a wild thing to think about.
See you next time!
Chapter Text
Soon, everyone was gathered in a board room to assess the situation. The only ones who weren't in the room were The Flash, White Canary, and The Atom. Harbinger stands next to a monitor with a view of the wave on it.
"The 'red wave', as you all had been calling it, is actually a wave of antimatter sweeping across this universe, destroying everything in its path," explained Harbinger.
"Antimatter?" asked Batwoman.
"It's an extra-universal substance that destroys any positive matter on contact," explained Brainy.
"Meaning that it could destroy a single universe with but a touch of the stuff," said Alex with Brainy nodding in agreement.
"I've seen it happen when Earth-2 got destroyed," said Green Arrow.
"My god," muttered Lois.
"An entire universe. Gone in the blink of an eye," said Brainy.
"And now this antimatter wave is coming for us," said J'onn.
"Yes. Currently, The Flash and Legends are doing reconnaissance, so we should learn of something when they return," said Harbinger.
After the meeting, the group was in the mission control room as Superman, Lois, Supergirl, and Brainy were looking at a computer screen.
"How long until it finds him?" asked Superman.
"Should be shortly. I'm just hoping that the antimatter wave hadn't affected his trajectory too much," said Brainy.
"Yeah. Hopefully, we find him sooner rather than...," said Lois.
She was interrupted when a massive earthquake occurred and a giant tower arose from the ground. Everyone tensed and got their weapons. It was then that The Flash, White Canary, and The Atom soon returned.
"Barry?" asked Green Arrow.
"It's alright. It might be the only thing that can save the people of Earth," said The Flash.
"What?" asked Supergirl.
"At the dawn of time, The Monitor placed quantum towers on key Earths as a last line of defense. The red skies are dissipating, which means they're working," explained Harbinger.
Indeed, the red skies were soon turning back to blue.
"Interesting. From this design, it looks like the tower is capable of generating a quantum-flux field, which could, theoretically...," said Brainy.
"Reverse the exogenic state of the antimatter wave; thereby dissipating the antimatter energy," finished The Atom.
Before they could theorize any longer, the tracker had managed to locate Jonathan.
"Where is he?" asked Superman.
"Fascinating. Baby Jonathan's in Star City," said Brainy.
"I don't think our Earth has a Star City," said Lois.
"You would be correct, Ms. Lane. It appears that Jonathan has landed in the Star City of Earth-16 in the year 2046 via a wormhole," explained Brainy as The Atom and White Canary look at the data.
"We've been there before," said The Atom.
"You have?" asked Supergirl.
"Yeah. We got blasted there a few years ago. Never suspected we were on another Earth," said White Canary.
"I'm going to get my son," said Superman.
"Hold on a moment," said Green Arrow.
"What?" asked Superman.
"Listen, I get that you're worried about your son. Trust me, I get it too. But we need your power to protect this Earth," said Green Arrow.
"I can go pick him up," said Lois.
"I'll come with as I know the Earth," said Sara.
"I'll also go as I can provide a way in and out of that universe," said Brainy.
Superman nods as he allows them to pick up his son, kissing his wife goodbye.
In another room, Brainy and J'onn were having a conversation.
"Everything alright?" asked Brainy.
"Thankfully. Danvers is coordinating with the President, who is doing so with the rest of the world leaders. The hope is that the aliens who've arrived here on Earth will be willing to use their spaceships for the evacuation effort," informed J'onn.
"Are you sure that is a good idea, considering the events of the past year and all?" asked Brainy.
"It's the only thing we can do," said J'onn.
"Very well." Brainy hands J'onn his keys. "Take good care of it."
"I will," said J'onn.
Alex approaches the disguised Martian as Brainy leaves.
"How'd it go?" asked J'onn.
"About as well as it could. Even if we could get everyone off the planet and into space, it's just not safe. The antimatter would still kill us unless we transport everyone to a different universe and that's not possible without a humongous portal to another universe," said Alex.
"I might have an idea, but you're not going to like it," said J'onn.
"I'm all ears," said Alex.
"I suggest you talk to Lena Luthor about this, considering she was able to create a massive transmat portal for the Daxamites a few years ago," said J'onn.
"Are you even sure she'll do it. I mean, Lena and I aren't exactly friends at the moment," said Alex.
"I know it's not ideal, but we don't have any other choice right now. Besides, she did help us against the Daxamites back in the day. She could help us now," said J'onn.

You know, it's interesting that the crossover event that results in the destruction of the current multiverse also is the one that reveals that the Waverider could travel across the multiverse. Meaning that they could've used it to travel to Earth-X. Interesting.
Also, what're the odds that Jonathan landed on Earth-16. Mind you, he travelled from Earth-38 to Earth-16. That's 22 different universes he travelled between! I get that he travelled through a wormhole, but that is still insane.
See you next time!
Chapter Text
Supergirl later finds Superman staring off into the distance. There are so many things that could be running through his mind at the moment, some of which she could only guess. She steels her nerves and approaches him.
"I'm sorry," apologized Superman.
"Huh?" asked Supergirl.
"About Alura. I... I couldn't save her," said Superman.
"Hey, it wasn't your fault. Neither you or Lois or anyone on Argo could have anticipated an antimatter wave to be coming your way. You did everything you could," said Supergirl.
"I know. It's just... sometimes I feel like I deserve every bad thing that's happened to me. Krypton getting destroyed. Lex becoming a supervillain. And now, Jonathan is in another universe while this one is getting destroyed. I foolishly believed I could have so much, and now the universe is taking it all away again," said Superman.
"Don't say things like that. Jonathan will be back safe, and we will save everyone no matter what," said Supergirl.
"You're rather hopeful," said Superman.
"I mean, it's all we can do. When Krypton got destroyed, you brought the spirit of the planet to Earth. We can do it again," said Supergirl.
In another room, Oliver and Mia were in a separate room where Oliver sat down an item on the table.
"What's that?" asked Mia.
"Open it," said Oliver.
Mia opened the box, revealing a dark emerald suit, one like her father uses, within.
"Dad. I... I can't...," said Mia.
"I know it's hard, but there should always be one Green Arrow. I won't be long for this world, and I have a successor in place," said Oliver.
"Who?" asked Mia.
"I'm looking at her," said Oliver.
Mia looked surprised as Oliver walked out, letting her try it on.
Green Arrow soon finds The Flash waiting outside.
"Everything alright?" asked Green Arrow.
"Yeah. I just can't believe the Crisis is actually happening," said The Flash.
"I get it. Especially with what will happen," said Green Arrow.
"Look, Oliver. The Monitor told me that things have changed, and I'm not suspected to make it through what's coming," said The Flash.
"Oh, this was not the deal. Mar Novu!" exclaimed Green Arrow.
"Oliver?" asked The Flash.
"We need to talk! Now!" demanded Green Arrow.
The Monitor's realm
Green Arrow found himself in the realm and saw the Monitor standing behind him.
"Mr. Queen," said Monitor.
"This was not the deal, Novu. I was supposed to die. Not Kara, not Barry, me," said Green Arrow.
"That deal was made last year, Mr. Queen, and this' a new threat now," said Monitor.
"New threat? Who is it?" asked Green Arrow.
"It is not in your best interest to know this information," said Monitor.
"Why not?" asked Green Arrow.
"Because if you do not know what is coming, then you will prepare for every possibility," said Monitor.

By the way, has anyone noticed that Mia only wears the suit Oliver gave her in the first part of the crossover event? Like, she never wears it after that episode. Makes me feel sorry for the costume designer who worked on that suit only for it to be in one episode.
Have a good day!
Chapter Text
L-Corp Building
Lena was staring out the window, astonished by the quantum tower in the distance. She heard the door open and turned around, seeing Alex enter in full D.E.O. uniform.
"So, come to accuse me of more crimes and arrest me?" asked Lena.
"What do you expect after stealing Myriad and nearly killing Supergirl?" asked Alex.
"Ugh! That was Ms. Teschmacher and she has already been arrested," insisted Lena.
"Look, I know you're bullshitting me right now but now is not the time to argue. We are all in danger right now from an antimatter wave and I really need you to put your feelings aside to help save the world again," said Alex.
"I agree," said Lena, stunning Alex.
'Y-You do?" asked Alex.
"Yes. Did you honestly not think I would?" asked Lena.
"Well, considering recent events...," said Alex.
"Honestly, I'm hurt that you didn't think I would help. I mean, I am the good guy here," said Lena as she walks away.
"Bitch," muttered Alex.
Quantum Tower
Superman, Supergirl, The Flash, The Atom, and Batwoman were already at the tower. Green Arrow and Blackstar, now wearing her new suit, had just arrived at the tower.
"And you're sure you don't want any upgrades?" asked The Atom.
"Positively," said Batwoman.
"Everyone here?" asked Green Arrow.
"Yeah," said The Flash.
"Good. Superman, Supergirl, the two of you are to protect the outside. Everyone else, let's go in," ordered Green Arrow.
"Who died and made him in charge?" asked Batwoman.
"Nobody... yet," said The Atom.
The Kryptonian cousins flew into the sky as everyone huddled into the tower. A more powerful earthquake shook the ground for a moment.
"That one was more powerful than the last," noted The Flash.
"Look, Mia. Whatever happens to me, your job is to find your mother," said Green Arrow.
"What?" asked Blackstar.
Before he could respond, something unusual happened. An army of flying spirits appeared and began to damage the tower.
"What the hell are those things?" asked Batwoman.
"I don't know what they are, but we have to stop them from damaging the tower," said Green Arrow.
And so, the battle begun. The heroes rushed at the demons, doing whatever they could to impede on the demon's mission. In the chaos, Batwoman and The Atom were using the same cover.
"About those upgrades, I could use one," said Batwoman.
"One Batarang, please." Batwoman gives him a Batarang. "Just going to magnetize it a bit and... done!"
The Atom gives back the Batarang and Batwoman flies it at the demon before it comes back to her.
"Nice," said Batwoman.
"You're welcome," said The Atom.
Green Arrow and Blackstar were fighting off the shadow demons. Blackstar notices a shadow demon coming up behind her father and shoots an arrow, destroying it.
"Good work," said Green Arrow.
"Thanks," said Blackstar, blushing at the praise.
Superman and Supergirl soon enter the tower and assist The Flash in destroying the remaining demons.
"Is that all of them?" asked The Flash.
"For now," answered Green Arrow.

Earth-16 - Star City - 2046
White Canary, Lois and Brainiac found themselves in Earth-16's Arrowcave. White Canary walked with knowledge while Lois and Brainiac seemed more cautious.
"Wow. Is this place usually this... dilapidated?" asked Lois.
"Yeah. This place had been pretty disused after The Uprising happened. I'm surprised you know the word 'dilapidated', though," said White Canary.
"I'm a reporter. We tend to use very sophisticated words often," said Lois.
"In any case, I am surprised that this universe's Mr. Queen would kidnap a child," said Brainiac.
"I doubt that. I think he must've found a helpless baby and decided to take him away from all the chaos outside," said White Canary.
Suddenly, Brainiac is wrapped around by a trick arrow and falls to the ground. Lois tries to help him while White Canary battles two archers that are attacking her.
"Hold on, Brainy," said Lois before she runs off when she hears her baby crying.
"Don't worry. I have this handled," said Brainiac.
White Canary battled the two archers with some difficulty. She already knew who her attackers were before they struck. Seeing one of her attackers had a cybernetic arm, she grabbed one of the arrows and disabled it.
"It's me!" exclaimed Sara, stopping the fight.
"Sara?" asked one of her attackers, putting down his hood to reveal himself to be Earth-16's John Diggle Jr. aka Connor Hawke.
The other attacker stood up and put down his hood, revealing himself to be Earth-16's Oliver Queen.
"You're back," said Oliver-16.
"I am," said White Canary.
"It's good to see you again," said Connor.
"You too," said White Canary.
"So, what are you here for?" asked Oliver-16.
He soon got his answer when Lois came into the room with Jonathan in her arms.
"Thank you, Mr. Queen, for taking care of my son," said Lois.
"You're welcome," said Oliver-16.
"Um, excuse me...," said Brainiac.
"Oh, right," said Connor, untying the intelligence.
"Thank you, young man." Brainiac looks over to White Canary. "We have to go, now."
"Something wrong?" asked Oliver-16.
"To put it simply, an antimatter wave is going through the entire multiverse, and his universe is on the menu," explained White Canary.
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go," said Connor.
"You two want to come with?" asked Brainiac.
"If this antimatter wave destroys your universe, it'll inevitably destroy ours. Besides, lives are at stake no matter where they are," said Oliver-16.
"Then, let's go," said Brainiac, creating a dimensional portal that the six head into and vanish.

As you can see, Earth-16's Oliver Queen and Connor Hawke have now joined the Crisis. One of the many complaints about how the Arrowverse handled this event was that it was pretty clear that it was only Earth-1 and Earth-38 that mattered. So, I'm starting to bring in heroes from across the multiverse to diversify the cast slightly.
Also, Earth-16 Connor Hawke was supposed to appear in this episode as Joseph David-Jones had done a fitting prior to filming. However, he couldn't commit due to scheduling conflicts.
Have a nice day!

Earth-38 - National City
Outside of the city, a fleet of spaceships were parked and letting people aboard. Dreamer and Kelly were trying to coordinate everything and keep everybody calm at the same time.
"You know, never in my life did I think that I would be coordinating an evacuation of the entire planet," said Dreamer.
"Neither did I. I never expected to have to do this, either," said Kelly.
"Have you heard from James, yet?" asked Dreamer.
"He's helping people evacuate from Calvintown. Thankfully, it's a smaller pool size than what we have," said Kelly.
"I think we might need bigger ships to help with this," said Dreamer.
"Good thing I have a bigger ship."
The Legion's cruiser appeared in the skies before landing on the ground.
"J'onn?" asked Dreamer.
"Something Brainy gave me before he left. This ship can handle hundreds of thousands of people on board. Get the people aboard, now," ordered J'onn.
"Right," said Dreamer and Kelly.
D.E.O. National City Headquarters
Lena and Alex were currently in the labs, trying to figure out how to get off Earth.
"This' borderline impossible. We can't send people into space because space is being destroyed as we speak," said Lena.
"Maybe we can connect a breach between Earth-38 and Earth-1?" suggested Alex.
"That is surprisingly a good idea. However, I'm not sure how to keep people from evaporating once we transport them to the other Earth," said Lena.
"What about Galleon's Theory?" asked Alex.
"You mean using an inverse variable to help calculate the differential? Good idea," said Lena.
Using the theory, they managed to track the code. Lena began to walk out of the room but stopped and turned to Alex.
"This doesn't make us friends," said Lena.
"I know," acknowledged Alex.
Quantum Tower
The heroes were fighting off a new wave of shadow demons. The demons were damaging the tower to the point of the red skies returning.
"Damn it," said The Flash.
"Superman, Supergirl. See what you can do up top," ordered Green Arrow.
The Kryptonian cousins flew up to see what they can do. And that was when Superman noticed something.
"Is it just me or do those look like solar panels?" asked Superman.
"It must be what powers the tower," said Supergirl.
"You thinking what I'm thinking?" asked Superman.
Supergirl nodded and the two Kryptonians began blasting the panels with their heat vision. However, they couldn't hold on forever as Superman fell first before his cousin following soon after. Thankfully, it was enough to power the tower as the red skies turned back to blue.
"How long do we have?" asked Green Arrow.
"Judging by the amount of power they put in, about 14 minutes," reported The Atom.
"Then let's make those 14 minutes count!" exclaimed Green Arrow.
The heroes leapt into battle in full throttle, attacking with everything they've got. That was... until the Monitor arrived.
"Monitor?" asked The Flash.
"You need to save your strength for this world is doomed," said Monitor.
He began to vanish them away. First Batwoman, followed by Superman, Supergirl, The Flash, The Atom, and Blackstar. Now, only Green Arrow was left.
"How many are left?" asked Green Arrow.
"There are still many that won't be saved," said Monitor.
"Then, I'll make sure they can," said Green Arrow.
He hit the Monitor with an antimatter arrow, disrupting the latter's powers. One of the demons struck Green Arrow and he loses his footing. He reaches for his arrows, only to see that he used them up. He takes a stand and charges at the demons with his bare hands.
In the distance, the ships left for the transmatter portal as the antimatter wave destroys the Earth-38 universe.
Earth-1 - Star City - Arrowcave
Oliver appears on a table in his lair, his body extremely bloody and bruised and on the verge of death. Immediately, he was surrounded by Barry, Kara, and Mia.
"Oliver/Dad!" exclaimed Kara and Mia.
It was then that the Monitor appeared in the room.
"Earth-38 did not survive. However, due to Mr. Queen's noble sacrifice, he was able to ensure that another billion people survived," informed Monitor.
Kara looked devastated, both at the news of her universe's destruction and the reality of Oliver's pending demise. Suddenly, a recognized man entered the room.
"Nash?" asked Barry.
"I am no longer Harrison 'Nash' Wells. I am merely a man serving his penance. I freed the Anti-Monitor from his confinement, now I am a Pariah sentenced to bear witness to his actions," explained Pariah.
A dimensional portal opened up and Brainy, Lois, Sara, Jonathan, Oliver-16, and Connor arrived. They looked distraught when they saw the state of Oliver's body.
"We're too late," said Connor.
Clark soon entered the room, hugging his wife and son before noticing Oliver's body.
"Barry. Kara," said Oliver.
"Y-Yeah?" asked Barry.
"I sacrificed it all... for the two of you," confided Oliver.
The two heroes looked at each other, devastated by the news.
"Mia, come closer, please," said Oliver.
"Y-Yes, Dad?" asked Mia.
"Promise me. Promise me that you'll find your mother... and tell William I love him," said Oliver.
"I-I promise," said Mia.
Seconds later, Oliver Jonas Queen, the Green Arrow, passes away. Mia breaks down in tears, clutching her father's fresh corpse. Oliver-16 wanted to comfort his counterpart's daughter yet didn't think it was appropriate. Thankfully, Sara stepped up and comforted Mia.
"It was not supposed to be like this. This is not his ending I foresaw," said Monitor.
"Things are turning out differently than expected. But one thing is certain. Everything we know... everything there is... and everything there ever was... is doomed," said Pariah.
Notes:
Chapter complete!
Now, we're done with Part One of the crossover. There wasn't too much to change other than having Oliver-16 and Connor arrive during the death scene. I also cut out the bit with Kelly saving someone with the Guardian shield as it just felt unnecessary to me.
Also, Oliver's middle name is canonically Jonas in the Arrowverse. He's also eight days older than his actor, Stephen Amell, which is interesting.
See you next time!

Earth-1 - Central City
Sara pours a drink, while Kate and Kara watch.
"Oliver died a hero, while saving a billion lives in the process," said Sara.
"Shouldn't we wait for Barry?" asked Kara.
"I... I don't think he's ready to say goodbye yet," said Kate.
Sara gives two of the drinks to Kara and Kate respectively.
"To Oliver," said Sara.
"To Oliver," repeated Kate and Kara.
Sara and Kate drink while Kara does not.
"You ok?" asked Kate.
"I just don't feel like drinking. It just feels like giving up. I mean, there has to be a way to undo all this, right?" asked Kara.
"I don't know if we can undo it, but we can make sure it doesn't happen to any other universes," said Sara.
Meanwhile, Oliver-16 and Mia were staring out into the city. There was a silent awkwardness between the two, the former is the counterpart of the latter's recently deceased father after all.
"It's quieter," said Oliver-16.
"Huh?" asked Mia.
"This Central City. It's a lot quieter than the one on my earth," said Oliver-16.
"You've been there?" asked Mia.
"Not in years. I have heard that it's fallen into anarchy like my Star City, though," said Oliver-16.
Harbinger came into the room and approached Sara.
"So, how's Diggle?" asked Sara,
"He's with JJ right now and he doesn't know about Oliver yet," said Harbinger.
"You do realize how messed up that is, right?" asked Sara.
"Yeah. I'm just trying to figure out a way to break the news to him," said Harbinger.
Sara was about to respond when Ray and Monitor came in, arguing with each other.
"I can't just hijack the Waverider while the crew's still there," said Ray.
"If there's any chance of us all surviving this Crisis, we need its technology," said Monitor.
"Well, I kinda promised our crew no more crossovers after what happened on Earth-X," said Sara.
"Should I ask what happened on Earth-X?" asked Kate.
"I'll tell you later," said Kara.
"We don't need your crew, Sara. We only need Ray's lab. Thankfully, we have an entire multiverse of Waveriders at our disposal," said Harbinger.
She then disappeared in a flash of light.
"I will never get used to that," said Sara
Earth-74 - Waverider
Harbinger appears on the ship in a flash. She walked around a little, getting to know the place a little. She accidentally knocks over a beer bottle.
"Well, hello there," said the AI.
"You're the AI interface of this ship," said Harbinger.
"That is correct. I am Leonard, the AI in control of this ship. And you're trespassing," said Leonard.
The Mick Rory of Earth-74 showed up, wielding both his heat gun and cold gun.
"Mick Rory. I thought all of Earth-74's Legends had either retired or died," said Harbinger.
"They did. I merely took this ship as no one was using it anymore," said Mick.
"He's trying to become a romance writer," explained Leonard.
"Shut up," said Mick.
"They're very popular too," said Leonard.
"SHUT UP, YOU BASTARD!" exclaimed Mick.
"I come to you with a proposition, Mr. Rory," said Harbinger.
"A proposition?" asked Mick.
"There is a Crisis underfoot in the multiverse. The heroes my superior has gathered are in need of this ship to save the multiverse," said Harbinger.
"Oh, really? And what's in it for me?" asked Mick.
"Plenty of beer, stories to tell and a chance to save the multiverse," said Harbinger.
Mick merely smiled as Leonard audibly groaned.

It was very interesting writing the girls remembering Oliver when my grandfather died yesterday. Just to let you all know, I'm fine and planning to update my fics if I can.
Also, is it weird how, even though Captain Cold is dead, Wentworth Miller was still in the Arrowverse. I mean, the number of appearances he'd made post-death is astounding. I'm surprised they killed him off considering the hoops they now have to go through.
Stay tuned!
Chapter 10: The Paragons

Chapter Text
Earth-1 - Waverider-74
Everyone had gathered on Earth-74's Waverider. The Monitor was in the front, talking to the heroes gathered before him.
"You have suffered a terrible loss, but you have every reason not to lose hope. Seven in fact. Across space and time exist seven heroes. Beings of the purest will, who can ultimately defeat the Anti-Monitor, and help save the multiverse. They are known as Paragons," said the Monitor.
During the Monitor's speech, Jonathan kept on crying and was passed around until he calmed down in Mick's arms. That, of course, surprised everyone but they didn't have the time to comment on it.
"And you know all this how?" asked Kate.
"I have consulted the Book of Destiny and enlisted the help of Felicity Smoak, who learnt of this through the help of a second book," said the Monitor.
"Felicity has a second book?" asked Ray.
"Apparently," said Sara.
The Monitor extends his hand, and the Book of Destiny appears.
"How...?" asked Barry.
"I simply went into the time-stream and retrieved it," answers the Monitor.
Mia soon enters the room with Oliver-16 with nobody noticing the entrance of the two archers.
"The Book of Destiny. Can it bring back destroyed Earths?" asked Kara.
"Doing so would cause madness," said the Monitor.
"What about bringing back my father?" asked Mia, getting everyone's attention.
"Unfortunately, it is impossible at the moment as I grow weaker as the Anti-Monitor gets stronger," answered the Monitor.
Mia leaves with a look of disappointment on her face. Sara and Oliver-16 shared a look before the latter went after Mia.
"Out of the seven, four of them are known and two are already here," said the Monitor.
"Let's start with the two that are already here," said J'onn.
"Very well. Kara Zor-El, you are the Paragon of Hope," said the Monitor.
"Well, I don' feel particularly hopeful," said Kara.
"Sara Lance, you are the Paragon of Destiny," said the Monitor.
"The Paragon of Destiny. Interesting," commented Sara.
"The third is the Paragon of Truth, who is a Kryptonian who has been through more loss than any mortal man could endure," said the Monitor.
"We'll find him," said Clark as Lois nods in agreement.
"The fourth is the Paragon of Courage, known as the Bat of the Future. He exists as Bruce Wayne of Earth-99 where he has dedicated his body and soul to fighting crime," said the Monitor.
"Wait. Bruce Wayne is Batman?" asked Ray.
"Yeah. If you could all just keep that to yourselves, everything will be golden," said Kate.
Later, Kara was looking at a display of Earth-38 being destroyed.
"An antimatter wave, huh? Not how I expected for the universe to go, but I guess fate had different plans."
Kara turned to see the supposedly dead Lex Luthor walking in with a smile on his face and being followed by the Monitor.
"Aren't you supposed to be...," said Kara.
"Dead? Let's just say rumors of my demise were greatly exaggerated," said Lex.
"Everyone has an important part to play in this Crisis, even Mr. Luthor here. As such, I resurrected him after he'd been initially killed," said the Monitor.
"Wait, you can revive Lex, but reviving Queen is impossible? How the hell does that make sense?" asked Kate, who had just walked into the room.
"You see, the stronger the Anti-Monitor grows the weaker I become. As such, I revived Mr. Luthor before the Crisis began," said the Monitor.
"In any case, I am not working with him. Especially not after what he did," said Kara.
The Kryptonian stormed off with Kate following after she glares at Lex.
"You, ok?" asked Kate.
"I don't know. My entire universe is gone. Nearly everyone on Earth-38 is dead," said Kara.
"I kind of understand how you feel. My mother died and I thought my sister died as well. Then it turned out she'd been kidnapped by a mad man, and my stepmother had faked my sister's death so that my dad could find closure. And now my sister is my archnemesis and she killed my stepmother," said Kate.
"Wow. Your stepmother sounds like a piece of work," said Kara.
"Yeah. My life is a very bad soap opera," said Kate.
The two superheroines just looked out into the distance, thinking about how strange their lives are. Kate soon took out an extrapolator.
"So, ready to meet Batman and save the multiverse?" asked Kate.
Elsewhere, Iris is aboard the Waverider and reunites with Barry.
"Iris? What are you doing here?" asked Barry.
"The Monitor asked me to help Clark and Lois to find the Kryptonian Paragon. You going somewhere?" asked Iris.
"Yeah. We think that the Lazarus Pit on Earth-18 might bring Oliver back," said Barry.
"Think it will work?" asked Iris.
"It has to. I mean, Oliver can't be dead. He... just can't," said Barry.
Elsewhere, Sara approaches Mia.
"You're going to use a Lazarus Pit on Oliver?" asked Sara.
"Yeah. If the Book of Destiny can't, a Lazarus Pit is our only option," said Mia.
"That's dangerous. Exposure to the Pit strips a person of their humanity," warns Sara.
"I know. Nyssa told me everything I needed to know about the Pits... and about you," said Mia in a distrustful tone.
Meanwhile, Harbinger staggered through the halls of the timeship. A voice echoing in her mind.
"Find the Book of Destiny... and destroy it," ordered the voice.
Harbinger goes towards the study only to find Lex with the Book of Destiny.
"Stop!" exclaimed Harbinger.
"Tootles," said Lex.
Lex soon vanished as the Monitor came into the room.
"Luthor. He took the book," said Harbinger.
"We all have a part to play," said the Monitor.

By the way, the entire spiel Kate gives to Kara about the drama in her family is actually true. All of that is in the Batwoman show. And before you ask, the stepmother's only punishment was being divorced by Kate's dad and then killed by her stepdaughter.

Chapter Text
Earth-99 - Gotham City
Kate and Kara had arrived at the Earth and discovered that universe's Wayne Manor. The garden was quite unkempt with vines and creepers growing everywhere, including the mansion's walls.
"Are we sure he still lives here? I doubt anyone would with how bad the garden is," said Kara.
"I'm sure. The manor is still listed in Bruce's name. Plus, there's light coming from the manor. Someone's inside," said Kate.
The duo came at the door and knocked on it. A young man, around their age, answered the door and looked surprised when he saw them.
"Um, who are you?" asked the Man.
"I'm Kate Kane and this' Kara Zor-El. I'm Bruce's cousin," introduced Kate.
"Right," said the Man before slamming the door in their face.
"I don't think he believed you," said Kara.
"No duh," said Kate.
Kate knocked again, only for there to be no answer this time.
"This isn't working!" complained Kara.
"No wait!" exclaimed Kate.
Kara, using her superstrength, kicked down the door and walked inside. Kate followed her after facepalming herself. The young man from before comes out and trains a gun on them.
"Both of you! Leave! Now!" exclaimed the Man.
"Look, we don't want any trouble," said Kara.
"Of course, because kicking down the door obviously means that you don't want trouble," said the Man.
"Terry! Don't be so rude!"
The young man, Terry, lowers the gun as an old man in an exoskeleton walks down the stairs.
"Forgive him, we're not that used to having guests," said the Old Man.
When the old man gets down the stairs, he links eyes with Kate and recognition sparked between the two.
"Kate?" asked the Old Man.
"Bruce?" asked Kate.
The old man, Bruce Wayne, nodded at the question.
"Can we talk... in private?" asked Kate.
"Sure." Bruce looks at Terry. "Terry, could you take Miss...?"
"Kara Zor-El," introduced Kara.
"Thanks. Terry, could you take Miss Zor-El to the library?" asked Bruce.
Terry nods and leads Kara to the library as Bruce leads Kate into his study.
"So, Terry?" asked Kate.
"Terry McGinnis. Nice kid. Saved me from a gang of hooligans once and I gave him the job of being my caretaker," explained Bruce.
"I'm guessing after whatever happened to lead you into... that?" asked Kate, gesturing to his exoskeleton.
"This? A product of a lifetime of injuries." Kate nodded at the explanation. "By the way, you're looking pretty great... for a dead girl."
"Dead?" asked Kate.
"Five years ago. So, when Terry told me a girl who claimed to be her arrived, I was confused. Clayface is a puddle of mud and last I checked, jane Doe was still locked up in Arkham. The only other logical option would you being...," said Bruce.
"Her multiversal doppelganger. That I am," said Kate.
"In that case, why are you here? Are the Justice Lords planning on invading again?" asked Bruce.
"The who? No. To answer your question, I'd suggest sitting down as it's going to get complicated," said Kate.
Earth-75 - Metropolis
Clark and Lois are walking down the street of that earth's Metropolis. Clark was on the phone with someone.
"Got it. We'll get right to it," said Clark as he hangs up.
"That Iris?" asked Lois.
"Yeah. Lex Luthor is alive and is hunting down all my counterparts," said Clark.
"Then, we need to find this Earth's Superman before Lex jumps here and offs him," said Lois.
"I think it's a bit late for that," said Clark.
Clark gestures to a news cast of Earth-75's Superman being dead. The headline reads "LEX LUTHOR KILLS MAN OF STEEL..." with the byline reading "DISAPPEARS IN THIN AIR". A woman who resembled Lois mourned that world's Superman.
"Damn it," cursed Lois.

Chapter Text
Earth-1 - Waverider
John Constatine was looking around the new time-ship as Barry, Mia, Sara, and Oliver-16 approach him.
"Oliver? I thought you were dead... and in your thirties," said Constantine.
"I'm not your Oliver. I'm the Oliver Queen of Earth-16," introduced Oliver-16.
"Was that supposed to be a rhyme or were you genuinely trying to introduce yourself?" asked Constatine.
"Can you make us a map of the multiverse. We need to find an Earth with a useable Pit," explained Mia.
"Naturally," said Constatine.
Constatine casts a spell which produces a map of the multiverse, which shows the Earths being destroyed.
"My word. Looks like the entire multiverse is disappearing before my very eyes," said Constatine.
"The Pit," reminded Mia.
"Right. Thankfully, Earth-18 has a functioning Pit," said Constatine.
"Great. Let's go," said Barry.
Barry, Mia, and Oliver-16 head out.
"John, promise me you'll get Oliver's soul back," said Sara.
"I'll do it... if I can," said Constatine.
Earth-167 - Smallville
Clark, Lois, and Iris arrive at that Earth's Kent Farm. It was remarkably similar to the one on the former Earth-38. They also see a man chopping wood with an axe.
"Think that's him?" asked Iris.
"It's either him or the buff guy on the paper towel rolls," said Lois.
The trio approach him as Clark has an unimpressed look on his face.
"I can do that with my bare hands," said Clark.
"Clark Kent?" asked Iris.
"Can I help you with something?" asked Clark-167.
"The multiverse is in danger and Lex Luthor is planning to kill you," said Lois.
"I didn't know the president is in town," said Clark-167.
Before she could respond, Iris and her compatriots disappeared in a flash of light as Lex appeared behind Earth-167's Clark.
"Hello, old friend," said Lex.
"You're not the Lex I know," said Clark-167.
"And you're not the Clark I know," said Lex.
"Where'd you take them?" asked Clark-167.
"I just sent them back to where they came from." Lex looked at Clark-167 up and down. "The multiverse has a way of aligning fates. It's written in the stars and in this book or I wouldn't know that on this Earth, Clark Kent is Superman. Where I am from, that would be ridiculous. My Clark can't see past his glasses."
Clark-167 smiles amusingly at Lex's words but chooses not to say anything.
"And that leads me to my purpose. I will kill you and every other Superman in the multiverse," declared Lex.
Lex pulls out a piece of Kryptonite, surprising Clark-167. The latter takes it from the visitor and tosses it into a field.
"W-What? How...?" asked Lex.
"When I gave up my powers, Kryptonite no longer had any effect on me," explained Clark-167.
"You gave up your powers? You were basically a god. You could fly. You could see through walls. You had super strength," said Lex.
As Lex rambled, he stepped on a toy and figured out the reason.
"A family?" asked Lex.
"They are worth more than any superpowers," said Clark-167.
"Clark!"
Clark-167 turns to the voice as Lex tries to throw a punch at him. The former superhero manages to catch it and land a counterpunch right back at the multiversal villain.
"You took all the fun out of me. Enjoy your mediocrity as the multiverse dies," said Lex.
Lex leaves via a portal as Earth-167's Lois approaches.
"Was that...?" asked Lois-167.
"A new version of Lex. Some people came to me and said the multiverse is in danger, and he said the same thing," said Clark-167.
"I thought you locked the Monitors away," said Lois-167.
"Whatever it is, I'm sure the League can handle it," said Clark-167.
"In any case, the girls made a mess on the walls," said Lois-167.
"Let's take care of it," said Clark-167, taking his wife's hand.

Chapter 13: Paragon of Courage
Notes:
(See the end of the chapter for notes.)
Chapter Text
Earth-99 - Wayne Manor
Bruce had a serious thinking look on his face. It wasn't the one Kate was used to, but it was similar enough for her to figure it out.
"Me? The Paragon of Courage?" asked Bruce.
"That's what the Monitor said," said Kate.
"And you're sure that neither he or this Book of Destiny is right?" asked Bruce.
"Is there any reason why it wouldn't be?" asked Kate.
Bruce gave Kate a sad and apologetic look.
"Something happened to me here, didn't it?" asked Kate.
Bruce nodded, giving her a picture of his world's Kate and Beth.
"Kate found out about my double life and thought she could finish what I started. All that did was get her killed," said Bruce.
"Bruce...," said Kate.
"If I had any courage, I could have stopped her or helped her. My cowardice led to her death," said Bruce.
Kate took a deep breath before putting the picture down.
"Look, I'm not your Kate and you're not my Bruce. You're needed to save this entire multiverse, and I know you aren't the type to let that slide," said Kate.
"You always knew me so well, Kate," said Bruce.
Earth-96 - Daily Planet
Clark, Iris, and Lois entered this universe's Daily Planet, which caused Lois to light up.
"Now this is a newspaper," said Lois.
"I don't know. Feels very old fashioned to me," said Iris.
"Sometimes old fashioned can be just as great as new fashioned," said Clark.
The trio walked forward into someone who looked mighty familiar.
"Sorry about that," apologized the Man.
"Ray Palmer?" asked Iris.
"Who?" asked the Man.
The man turned to Clark with a smile.
"Nice glasses," complimented the Man.
"Thanks. Same to you," said Clark.
"Wait. Clark Kent?" asked Lois.
"That would be me, yes," answered Clark-96.
The three looked at each other before Clark spoke.
"Do you have a second?" asked Clark.
"Sure. For a citizen of Metropolis, always," said Clark-96.
"It's about Lex Luthor," said Clark.
Earth-99 - Wayne Manor
Terry was with Kara in the library, looking over some things.
"So, you're Supergirl, right?" asked Terry.
"Yeah," said Kara, noticing the entrance behind the clock.
"So, how're you here? Last I heard, you were with the Legion of Superheroes in the 31st Century," said Terry.
"Oh, I'm not the Supergirl of this earth. I am, or was, the Supergirl of Earth-38," explained Kara.
"I see. That explains how you know Kate. Bruce never said that the two of you met," said Terry.
"How do you know Bruce Wayne, anyway," said Kara.
"We kind of saved each other from a gang of hooligans a year or so ago. Things happened and I became his caretaker," said Terry.
Kara nodded and turned around, noticing a collection of items.
"What are these?" asked Kara.
"A memorial... for the people Bruce couldn't save," said Terry.
Kara looked through the objects. A cane that formed a question mark, a joker playing card stained with blood, and other such things. One thing that stood out most was a pair of glasses that were cracked and splattered by blood.
"W-Who...?" asked Kara.
"I thought you'd notice. That, too, is a memorial... to the worst day in Bruce's life. The day he was forced to kill his best friend," said Terry.
