Louis Tomlinson Shows Up to Footie Match with Daughter in Opposite Jerseys
by Sarah Prevost
The former One Direction star, as we all know, is a massive fan of football, having been crowned as the 'King of Glastonbury' in 2024 after showing up with a TV to watch England win 2-1 to Slovakia.
Today, he showed his support to his boyhood team, Manchester United against Tottenham Hotspur as he watch their last Premier League match of the season away at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England.
Sporting the 98/99 season jersey with shorts, he is not alone in the VIP box.
He is accompanied by none other than his 16-year old daughter whom he shared with his husband and former bandmate, Harry Styles.
Interestingly, unlike her father, Miss Celeste Tomlinson opts for lilywhite, sporting this season's Tottenham jersey with Spurs legend, Son 7, written on her back.
The pair seems to be engaged in not-so-friendly banter fans sitting near the box reported.
Videos of Little Tommo have been circling the Internet of her celebration & mockery to the elder Tomlinson after Spurs midfielder, James Madison scored an early goal in the 13th minute.
By half-time, the two seemed to be sitting right across of each other with Louis's best mate slash personal assistant, Oli, in the middle. Though sadly, Harry Styles nor the younger Tomlinsons were not present.
By the 90th minute, Celeste was back by her father's side in what fans seemed to capture mockery seeing how her team were mere seconds away from winning.
After the match wherein Man U lost 3-0, People Magazine managed to catch Louis for an exclusive.
"It's a funny thing, really. All of us Tommo's been massive fans of Man U, but then this darling came into our lives and turned out to be a bloody Tottenham fan," he comments when asked why Celeste wore her chosen jersey.
Our reporter asked whether he was disappointed with the match result, he says, "C'mon, man. Of course, of course," before being interrupted by her daughter giggling and singing, "GLORY GLORY TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR," along with the loud crowd of happy Tottenham fans.
We asked if this is what every weekend looks like in the Tomlinson household and the father-daughter duo laughed. "Yeah," they say in unison.
