Work Text:

“Alright, fam! Here we are! Scariest theme park in Hell!” Blitzø grinned as he presented Holy Land. A seasonal experience for Hellborn centered entirely on angelic imagery.

Stolas looked hesitant, holding Blitzø’s arm while the girls simply raised their eyebrows. “And we’re here, why?” Loona asked.

“’Cause it’s the season of scares for the humans! Might as well partake in our own way!” Blitzø clapped his hands together. “Now come on, let’s have fun!” Blitzø began to walk toward the gate.

“Darling, are you sure this is a good idea?” Stolas looked genuinely scared, and Blitzø paused.

Blitzø’s smile softened, and he reached to cup Stolas’ face. “Don’t worry, Stols. Everything is just props. I vetted it myself.”

Stolas gave a small smile at the reassurance.

“Gross,” Octavia mumbled, walking past them with Loona.

Blitzø took Stolas’ hand, leading the owl toward tickets. Once the four were properly inside, the girls looked a little more interested. “Can I play knock the demon into holy water?” Octavia asked, looking at the game.

Stolas held a finger up and opened his mouth, but Blitzø beat him to speaking. “Sure, sweetie! Here’s some money for you and Loonie. Go nuts!”

“Oh dear,” Stolas muttered as the girls ran for the booth.

Blitzø grinned up at him. “Oh, come on, Stols. Let them have some fun. It’s not actually hurting anyone. It’s probably just acid.”

“Just... what?” Stolas blinked.

Blitzø ignored him. “Come on, while they’re busy, let's check out the blessed houses!”

“Wait, I... Bliiiiitzø!” Stolas hooted as he was pulled forward, stomach dropping at the sight of the heavenly symbols before him.

Props. Just props. Blitzø would never put him in danger.

Stolas swallowed.

The house was brightly lit, but it might as well have been pitch dark with how much Stolas’ eyes were blurring. He kept a tight grip on Blitzø’s hand, not willing to risk losing the imp in such a place.

He was on edge. Jumpy. When an actor dressed as a priest jumped out, Stolas shrieked and quite literally jumped into Blitzø’s arms.

The imp chuckled. “Well, hello.”

Stolas just kept his tight hold on Blitzø’s neck. “Get me out of here,” he begged.

Blitzø laughed again but obliged, carrying Stolas the rest of the way through the house.

When Stolas’ feet finally touched the ground again, he was shaking. Blitzø just helped slick his puffed feathers back to normal. “Sorry, birdie.”

“No, I... It’s quite alright, I’m just... unused to such experiences intending to be fun.” Stolas took a deep breath, then forced a smile at Blitzø. “I’m sure I must seem quite cowardly.”

“Honestly? If you had said the word, I’d have gone ahead and blown our way out of that attraction.” Blitzø took his hands. “I’m not stupid, Stolas. You’ve had traumatic shit happen with the real stuff. If at any point you want to go, just say the word.”

Stolas gave a genuine smile this time. “Thank you, darling.”

Blitzø returned the expression. “Of course, pretty bird.” He pulled him down for a kiss.

“Gag,” Loona’s monotone cut in, making Blitzø jump back. “Via and I were going to go check out some of the rides. You two wanna come or just keep making goo-goo eyes at each other?”

Stolas looked at the angelic-themed rides. Blessed Rope Fall. Angelic Steel. Carmine Bullet Race. He cringed. “I... think I’ll sit this one out.”

Blitzø patted his back. “You girls go have fun. I’m gonna keep this big bird company.”

Octavia looked a little concerned. “Are you... okay, Dad?”

“Fine, Via, dear. Just... out of my element.” Stolas gave a weary smile. “Go have fun with Loona. I’ll be alright.”

Octavia didn’t seem convinced.

“Go, kid. I promise I’ll take care of him.”

Octavia just nodded slowly. “Okay. You'd better.”

She and Loona headed for the rides. Blitzø pulled Stolas to a nearby bench.

“I’m glad the girls seem to be having fun at least,” Stolas noted.

“Yeah. They deserve a break every now and then,” Blitzø agreed. “You still doing okay?”

“Yes. I apologize if I am ruining the day for you.” Stolas fidgeted with his hands.

Blitzø just shook his head. “You could never ruin my day, Stols.”

The owl blushed, looking away. “Well... I appreciate that sentiment at least.”

“I mean it.” Blitzø pulled him close. “I’m always happy with you, Stolas. Whether we’re running through a blessed house or sitting on a sticky park bench, I just want to be with you.” Blitzø smiled at him.

Stolas felt himself heat up from head to toe. “Oh, Blitzø.”

He pulled the imp into a kiss. It should have been quick. Chaste. They were at an amusement park after all.

Except it wasn’t. It was deep. Passionate. Poured every feeling Stolas currently felt into Blitzø through his lips. “I love you,” Stolas gasped when they finally broke apart.

Blitzø panted softly, then grinned. “Love you, too.” He grabbed Stolas’ hand and pulled him up. “C’mere.”

“Blitzø? Where are we going?” Stolas asked, even as his legs carried him forward.

Blitzø pushed through a door labeled “employees only” and continued on like he owned the place. The angelic atmosphere was gone, instead replaced by the cool familiarity of a rarely used shed.

Stolas felt himself physically relax. Then Blitzø pulled him back against him. “Didn’t think I’d scout this whole place without finding somewhere private, did you?” he purred.

“Blitzø...” Stolas blushed. “You are... full of surprises.”

“Guilty.”

Blitzø pulled him down into another kiss. This one was softer, but it quickly became heated. Hands wandered, tongues twined, and each moaned into it. Soon Stolas’ fingers were deftly undoing Blitzø’s coat buttons, and the article was pushed off his shoulders. His shirt followed, then Stolas’.

The owl found himself on his back, Blitzø straddling him with a wide grin. “I can’t take you anywhere, pretty bird.”

“Mmm, I do believe you started this, Blitzy.” Stolas’ own lips curled. “Though I would love if you would finish it.”

“Don’t even gotta ask, birdie.” Blitzø nipped beneath his jaw, his shoulder, his side, until he reached his hip. In one jerk, he pulled Stolas’ pants to his ankles, licking his lips while Stolas kicked the article off. “Now there’s a sight.”

“Are you going to do something with it or just stare all night?” Stolas teased.

Blitzø growled, pulling Stolas’ legs over his shoulders. “Can’t I do both?”

Then Blitzø’s mouth was on him. Stolas gasped, head tilting as Blitzø teased the feathers of his entrance with his tongue. He watched Blitzø work with hooded eyes, groaning when the imp looked up at him. He could feel his smirk against his mound.

Then Blitzø’s tongue slid inside, and his eyes snapped shut. A loud moan escaped him.

Briefly, he thought he heard some park-goers scream something about haunted closets and quick footsteps running away, before his attention was thoroughly reclaimed by Blitzø’s mouth. “Fuck, please,” Stolas gasped.

Blitzø increased his pace, fingers joining in. Stolas sighed at the stretch, back arching as he grew closer to his peak. Blitzø pulled his head back, fingers curling just right inside of Stolas. “Come for me, Stols.”

Blitzø flicked his tongue along Stolas’ sensitive ridge at the same time he curled his fingers again, and that was enough. Stolas came apart with a cry, back arching, thighs clenching around Blitzø’s head. “Ah, Blitzø!” His talons gripped horns as he held on for dear life.

Blitzø chuckled against him, the vibration adding to the aftershocks.

When he finally came down from the high, he was a panting mess, looking down at Blitzø with something between lust and love. It always was with them.

Blitzø crawled back up Stolas’ body. “Not done yet,” he whispered, kissing Stolas again.

The owl moaned at the taste of himself. He ran a hand down Blitzø’s back, tracing each spine as he went. When he got to the base of his tail, he tugged sharply, making Blitzø pull back with a moan. “Hngh, Stols.”

Stolas looped the appendage around his wrist and took the sensitive spade between two fingers, rubbing softly. He smirked at the imp. “What’s the matter, darling?” He brought the spade to his beak, running his tongue over it.

“Ah, fuck... fuck you.”

“That is the goal.” Stolas teased.

Suddenly, he found his mouth full of Blitzø’s spade. “Shut up,” the imp gasped, slowly working his tail between Stolas’ lips. “F-fuck.”

Stolas hummed around the appendage, reaching to undo Blitzø’s pants. His cock sprang free, tip leaking as it twitched with every shift of Stolas’ tongue. Stolas chuckled and Blitzø choked on a moan, another bead of pre-come sliding down the shaft.

Stolas slowly opened his mouth, and Blitzø pulled his tail free, only to gently wrap it around the owl’s neck. “Tease,” Blitzø murmured.

“Only for you, darling.” Stolas took him in hand, stroking slowly. Blitzø’s head fell back, his tail tightening ever so slightly around Stolas’ throat.

Blitzø finally caught Stolas’ wrist, halting his movements as his tail slowly uncoiled. “Lay back, pretty bird.”

“Happily,” Stolas chirped.

Blitzø slowly lined himself up, pushing inside of Stolas with a deep groan. “Oh, fuck.”

Stolas gasped as he was filled, arms reaching to hold Blitzø.

The pace started slow, but quickly built momentum. Blitzø caught one of Stolas’ hands and threaded their fingers together. “You feel so fucking good,” the imp groaned.

Stolas moaned. “Harder.”

Blitzø obliged, hips snapping forward. The two were lost in each other. In the feeling of being connected in the most intimate of ways. “Fuck, Stols,” Blitzø gasped, pressing his forehead to Stolas’ torso.

Stolas broke first, coming with a cry. The feeling of him clenching, gushing, sent Blitzø over soon after, spilling deep inside him. The imp collapsed, groaning softly as he stroked Stolas’ threaded fingers with his thumb. “Fuck, pretty bird. That was...”

“Amazing,” Stolas finished. “Thank you, Blitzø.”

The imp snickered. “You’re thanking me for fucking you in a nasty prop shed?”

Stolas just smiled softly. “I’m thanking you for loving me. For taking me from an environment that you realized made me uncomfortable. For being here.”

Blitzø blushed and looked away, sheepishly. “Yeah, well... I’d do anything for you, Stols.”

The two lay together for a while longer, basking in the feel of being close. Finally, Stolas broke the comfortable silence. “We should get dressed and find the girls.”

Blitzø sighed heavily, but forced himself to sit up. “Yeah, you’re right.” He stood, offering a hand to the owl, though with the height difference, it wasn’t much help.

The two had just gotten their pants on when the shed door opened, familiar tones of voice coming through. They froze.

So did the other two who had walked in.

It was an awkward, silent, standoff for a very long minute. Then...

“I say, I say! I think this spot is taken!” Wally finally exclaimed.

Blitzø was still making extremely uncomfortable eye contact with Verosika, frozen to the spot.

Stolas managed to reply. “No, uh, we... we were just leaving. Right, darling?” He nudged Blitzø.

“Right, uh, yeah. We’re going.” They quickly threw their shirts on, grabbed Blitzø’s jacket, and headed for the door. “All yours!”

The two ran back onto the boardwalk, then made eye contact and burst into laughter. “Was that...?”

“Verosika and fucking Wally Wackford! Yeah, it was!” Blitzø wheezed.

“There you two are!” Loona’s annoyed voice cut through their giggles. “Where were you? And why do you look like...” Her voice cut off, and her face twisted. “Oh, gross. You didn’t.”

“Don’t know what you mean, Loonie.” Blitzø whistled innocently.

Stolas nodded. “Blitzø simply took me somewhere quiet to escape the crowd.”

“Right. We’re not five,” Octavia mumbled. “Anyway, Loona and I rode everything. Twice. And I won this monstrosity dunking the yappy imp into what I’m now pretty sure was acid.” Octavia held up a pure white cat thing with a halo.

Stolas looked horrified while Blitzø burst out into more laughter. “Told you it was acid.” He smacked Stolas’ back. “Anyway, does that mean you girls are ready to go?”

“Yeah. This place gives me the creeps.” Loona told him. Octavia nodded in agreement.

The four headed for the gate, and while the night hadn’t necessarily gone to plan, Blitzø still called it a successful family outing.

“Now then, how do we plan to scare the humans on Earth next week?” Blitzø asked as they headed for the van.

“Dad, you’re done planning for a while,” Loona deadpanned.

Octavia and Stolas laughed at Blitzø’s offended expression. “Rude!”

“Don’t worry, darling,” Stolas said softly. “I’m sure we’ll come up with something.”

Blitzø smiled up at him, then at the girls.

He loved his family.
