A Red Star of Chaos

Summary:

Isekai’d into DxD is a terrifying thought, being brought back into a potentially weaker body is scarier.

…Too bad the opposite happened, for the bad guys that is. Now there’s only 2 things to fix:
1.) Roll something to allow me to have kids in some way or another. ‘I want children of my own at some point, dang it!’
2.) Get a few people to stop calling me adorable. ‘I know how cute I look, but I’m nearing the end of my Teens!’

Notes:

Imma nip this in the bud now: Any talks about paid art are going to be taken down. ESPECIALLY from guests.

If you want to do fan-art for whatever reason, go ahead, but I’m not gonna have someone to commission art for this work.

That said, I’d appreciate any comments/critiques.

Chapter Text

——————————

[Welcome to {The Void/The Place Between Realities/The Dimensional Gap} new user.]

——————————

“…Wat?”

{For context, viewers beyond reality: This soul has just woken up confused, scared, and having the worst headache they’ve ever had quickly dissipating into nothing.}

——————————

[To put it simply, you have died.]

——————————

“WHat?!”

——————————

[You had died in your sleep, and your benefactor has picked you up for another go at granting “The Chaos Gacha” to another person.]

——————————

…I’ve gotta be dreaming, because again: ‘WhaT?!’

——————————

[Registering users’ verbal silence as acceptance/readiness for their journey. Beginning Stage 1 for your Chaotic Reincarnation…]

[Rolling for users' new body…]

[You got…]

[Astral – CHAOS]

Transcendant Avatar

[Kirby - Your body is that of a near identical build to the Pink Puffball Kirby, which seemingly holds infinite energy and just needs to be channeled properly. An Astral’s form is also partially resistant to physical attacks; (Swords, Arrows, Hammers, etc.) The CHAOS subspecies means you hold all 4 forms of Astral Matter; (Dream, Dark, Soul, & Heart.)]

[Note: The limitless energy will naturally be inside you, but unless you roll something that needs energy to function that infinite power is useless. So you can’t punch the planet in half.]

——————————

This… ‘I’m dreaming. That, or I’ve lost my ding dang mind. …has to be a joke. Taking away the whole being dead thing–there’s no way that I’d be brought back in the form of one of the strongest beings in all of fiction.

——————————

[Feat Achieved! Be set to reincarnate as an (Astral)! +1 Quadruple Advantage Divine Ability Ticket]

——————————

‘...Am I gonna become a Puffball?’

“*Fwwwwp-*”

Only one real way to respond I guess.

“-YEEEEAAAAHHHH!!!”

Even if I’m dreaming, this is huge.

You see, there’s a phrase I’ve heard online back home that sums up Kirby’s adventures almost perfectly: *Kirby kills GODS for cake.* A few fans would agree, but this is technically wrong. Kirby doesn’t kill Gods for cake.

He kills Gods/God-Like Entities for either interrupting him hanging out/being with his friends, or from his own personal time. Including but not limited to:

Nightmare? Was killed because Dedede broke the Star Rod to stop him, and in turn effectively canceled sleep for Dreamland.

Zero/0^2? Killed for invading Dreamland. TWICE!

Necrodeus? A God-like being of death that split Kirby into 20 pieces, and the Pink Puff still won.

Void Termina? The flipping God of DESTRUCTION!?! Slain due to interrupting Kirby’s naptime.

In short, Kirby is a menace and being anything close to that is insane. Even if this supposed description seems to nerf it a bit. ‘I’ll get to play God for a little bit. Hehehe…’

…Anyway, Ticket? “I don’t care if whatever that Ticket's supposed to do is bad: Do it.”

——————————

[Rolling Quadruple Advantage Divine Ability Ticket…]

[Choose one of the following:]

[Kill Process]

Mythical Ability

["The End of Machine" Allows you to enforce the "Kill Process" onto any piece of technology that eclipses that of Mundane Earth. Forcing the concept of ruin on them, computers will have their chips and wires torn apart, their processors melted, their chassis shredded, their code mangled, and their non-souls sent straight to oblivion. Taken down entire Star Destroyers without even lifting your fingers. The potency of Kill Process depends on how divergent the target is from Mundane Earth technology, and the power difference between you and the target determines how much effect they will take. But even a normal person could take down a spaceship with a glare. Can only affect technology and tech-based targets.]

——[OR]——

[Tinker - Dreadon]

Divine Ability

[Allows you to build technological constructs or contraptions emulating the technology of Dreadon from Calamity Mod, allowing you harness practically any energy in existence for your means, hyper light chainsaws, black hole bombs, create godslaying mechs running off of cosmic energies, a godslaying sword made of the souls of the damned, a sniper that can hit a target across the universe instantly, the limits are your creativity, resources and time.]

——[OR]——

[Divinity Earth]

Divine Ability

[You are a god of earth, wave your hand to move continents, snap your fingers to bring down life-wiping meteors, raise your arm to bring up mountains, with one glare send out sandstorms that devastate civilisations. As long as it's Earth and you have enough energy, you can do it.]

——[OR]——

[Star Toss]

Divine Ability

[The ultimate strength, you can pluck the stars from the sky and shatter planets. Your strength is immeasurable, you can augment strength without limits.]

——————————

Well this is easy. “I want the ‘Canonical Kirby Strength’ please!”

——————————

[You're a lucky son of a gun, you know that?]

——————————

Considering how Kirby could hit a World Ending Meteorite back into space with a bat of all things? “You bet! Is there any way to get more rolls now, or would I have to wait until ‘later’?”

——————————

[Yes]

[Users are always allowed to roll for Curses before their journey begins, they just have to ask.]

[Curses are Debuffs that weaken the users’ start in multiple different ways. The Rank of Tickets granted by Curses are from how severe they are]

——————————

“So potential catastrophic nerfs from the start, all for more power…” After careful consideration, (as in 10 seconds of thinking,) I made up my mind… “Eh, guess I’ve got the strength to deal with most things now. Hit it!”

——————————

[Rolling Curse…]

[You got…]

[Lil']

Severity 6

[You are a Lil' thing. Which means you are pretty short and look way younger than you should look; people might mistake you for being way younger than you are. Good luck getting people to take you seriously in a professional setting or trying to buy alcohol. The curse does not affect your physical strength.]

Resolve: Get your body altered by a biokinetic effect that is Rare rank or above.

[Note: While you normally would have been reborn at around 2&½ feet tall with (Astral) as your race, you will now become the ‘Canon’ 8 Inches Tall with [Lil’] taking effect upon arrival.]

——————————

‘Three things: 1, Aw dang it. 2, roll the Ticket. 3,’ “What do you mean by arrival?”

——————————

[The benefactor that granted The Chaos Gacha has already decided what world you’ll end up in, but to avoid complaints the situation you’ll be in was not yet randomized unless asked. No matter how vague. But first, your Curse Ticket.]

[Rolling Gold Random Ticket…]

[You got…]

[Satchel of Seeds]

Uncommon Item

[An otherwise ordinary looking satchel that contains virtually unlimited amounts of seeds and saplings that can be found on the surface of planet earth in the year 2020. Only 10kg of material can be taken out of the bag every 24 hours. To take out a seed or sapling, simply reach in while thinking of your target. One of the satchel pockets contains a notepad containing information on every item inside.]

——————————

‘Ooh… Wonder if I could artificially create Maxim Tomatoes with this somehow?' If I could, that’d be neat. Free instant healing isn’t something common in fiction, if I recall correctly.

…I’m weirdly coherent, could this not be?…

——————————

[Now rolling for the users’ starting point. 1 = Worse possible entry, 20 = Best “spawning” location.]

[I’d say good luck, but it seems like it already favors you.]

——————————

I could feel [Star Toss] snug into place as I let out a confident giggle, “So long as wherever I’m going isn’t filled to the brim with literal hostile God’s, I should be fine!” ‘If this isn’t a dream, but even if it is, I’ll probably forget this anyway. So might as well go along with it!’

——————————

[...20.]

——————————

I blink a few times, my mind blank for a few seconds. Before my brain catches up I quietly say, “Never been that lucky before… Am I actually dreaming, or am I the main character?”

——————————

[Feat Achieved! Get a Nat_20 on your reincarnation! You lucky orb… +1 Gold Trait Ticket]

——————————

“Hey!” I say as white quickly fills my vision, with nausea starting to hit me like a Big Rig. “I’m not… an…”

As the blinding light begins to fade, (from the world falling back into focus and on the verge of sleep taking its hold,) I’m only able to process 3 things before passing out. The color Red, landing on something soft, and that I felt much smaller than a few seconds ago.

———{?????? ?????? Pov}———

It had been a long time since something caught her interest. The last time such a thing happened was when Kindness had fought the anger of War. Which was quickly made worse when her fragmented brother stole a part of herself for one last shot at the “revenge against his captors” he claimed it as.

Thankfully, Kindness prevailed, and the remaining bits of War flowed into her then newest brother: Peace.

Ah, but now’s not the time to be distracted. She felt a new sibling just a few minutes ago after all!

…Maybe sibling isn’t the best word for it. What was the relation Mortals called those only partly related to them again?

Cousins! Yes, that sounds more correct than Siblings. Even if it wasn’t a perfect word to match the feeling her “cousin” gave off, it was close enough!

The signal they gave off was faint, sure. Yet after the harrowing experience with War, she’d rather not take any chances, and who knows? Maybe this new member to the “family” wouldn’t be as insane as most of them were. She knew it was unlikely, but hope remained.

And so she flapped her wings.

Notes:

Edit: So, while I’d still like her to be a surprise, how about we make it into a game? Everyone who comments will be able to suggest a letter, and the highest voted letter will be revealed if it’s in ?’s name or not in the next chapter.
