Chapter Text
They hadn't died young. By Greek Demigod standards at least. Thalia was the last of them at 389 years old, the others had arrived averaging around 350 years ago. They had waited any way. Of course they did. They promised.
They greet Thalia at the gates of Elysium. The rest of the people they knew had gone for reincarnation already, but the cousins had made a pact to wait for each other to die before going for a second (or third) go.
Nico had barely aged since his teenage years, with him working and living in the underworld as a demigod before his death he simply one day was unable to leave, have died of not looking after himself, but continued to work in the underworld the whole time while waiting. Percy was in his early 30's, having died to monsters that he could have beaten if not for his duties to the younger generation, which he promised would make it further then him. Hazel body hadn't aged due to technically being a corpse and died similarly to Percy. Thalia looked as fifteen as when she had been revived out of the tree.
'So, how's the living world?' Percy asked her after they had all hugged and reunited, 'Worth reincarnating into?'
Thalia smirked. 'Ha. Gods know we would be waiting forever if we wanted to wait until then.'
Nico smiled and Hazel grabbed hands with the two next to her.
'Dad promised us that we could reincarnate near by each other.' Nico said, 'Hazel got a spell from Hecate to ensure we recognize each other despite the missing memories.'
'Ok. You'll need to follow my instructions carefully so that it doesn't get messed up.' Hazel then started to boss everyone around as they stood on the shore of Lethe and they started the spell.
However, the demigods weren't the best at instructions no matter how much they wanted to be and maybe Hecate made a mistake when telling Hazel seeing as to lose their memories they were meant to have dipped in the Lethe before hand (no matter how in hades they were meant to do the spell if they didn't have their memories??) so it went wrong.
Their spirits glowed, a special glow of gold and time and magic and spirit. They disappeared from the underworld.
