Stupid Lover Boys

Summary:

Fluxarata was bored, incredibly so.

Class was a background noise of a teacher talking.

Something, something, physics. Honestly, he could solve this thing, blind, gagged and tied in rope.

His eyes dropped, becoming half-lidded, god, he should have slept more last night.

And he would have if it weren't for-

"Saparata?" The teacher called.

Him.

Work Text:

Fluxarata was bored, incredibly so.

Class was a background noise of a teacher talking.

Something, something, physics. Honestly, he could solve this thing, blind, gagged and tied in rope.

His eyes dropped, becoming half-lidded, god, he should have slept more last night.

And he would have if it weren't for-

"Saparata?" The teacher called.

Him.

Saparata and his annoying insistence on playing games till crack of dawn. Stupid. Fluxion should have put a stop to it, told him he was going to sleep and Saparata should too. He should have, but he didn't, instead playing games with the dumbass till both of them fell asleep on voice call.

And now they we're both reaping the consequences of their actions. Saparata, especially, he had fallen asleep not even 5 minutes into the class.

Fluxion barely holding on behind him. Secretly, of course. He wouldn't be caught dead sleeping in class.

"Would you like to come up to the board, Saparata? Or is your sleep more important than my class?" The teacher rightfully bit out. Fluxion barely resisted the urge to crackle as Saparata, still sleepy, red tired lines all over his face, quickly nodded, a million apologies on his tongue.

He walked up to the board, taking the chalk and staring blankly at the board. Fluixon would bet his entire family's success and more that he didn't know the answer.

Saparata sucked at physics, hell, wasn't Fluxion tutoring him for this class?

And others, it wasn't that Saparata wasn't stupid, far from it, he just- struggled. A lot. Saparata stared at the board some more, and Fluxion felt the barest hint of pity. Well, it wouldn't be too bad to help the poor guy out, he thought.

Just as Saparata wrote the right answer.

And like that, all traces of his sympathy vanished. Saparata gave a bright, dazzling, and slightly smug smile to the teacher, who told him it was correct and sent him to his seat.

He slumped back down onto his seat, relief in every edge of his body, he gave Fluxion a much different smile, a small smile. Filled with relief and joy.

"All that tutoring really paid off, huh, Flux?" He said teasingly. The sun's light hitting the back of his head and making him faintly glow, It made Fluxion's chest hurt.

Fluxion gave him a grin back, "Yeah, right." He said simply, trying to ignore his fluttering heart. It was nothing. It had to be nothing.

Damm, Saparata.
