Chapter 1: The Deal

Chapter Text

Shit what was that? A shock of electricity had just pulsed through Lucifer's entire body. His vision was blurry, his palms sweaty. All he could hear was his heartbeat pulsing in his chest. He felt weak. But how? How could the Devil feel this way? Something was wrong. Luckily Lucifer’s body regenerated quickly, his vision slowly cleared, but just as things couldn't get any worse his eyes focused on something in the corner. A very happy Alastor rolled over in his chair and now was directly in front of Lucifer.

“What… do you… want… Al…” Lucifer managed to say, still panting.

“Oh my dear Lucifer, you don't have to waste anymore of your fleeting energy on me. I just want to admire you in such a weak state. I must say you make for great entertainment~” His smile widened as he spun around Lucifer glass box mocking him.

“Fuck you Bambi… your trapped hear too. Don't act all high in mighty yourself.” Lucifer's eyes turned red and his horns started to pop up from his head. But he quickly got shocked again.

“Ahh…ehh!” Lucifer screamed, the sound getting caught in his throat, as he coughed up blood.

He couldn't do anything without getting injured. He was trapped and helpless. If he didn’t do something soon, he was going to end up in a critical condition.

Alastor chuckled, licking his lips at the side of blood. “Wow, getting all riled up for me sweetheart~ but in all seriousness we are both going to end up dead here, unless…” Alastor turned in his chair now facing away from Lucifer.

Lucifer raised his eyebrows. “Unless what..,” Alaster turned back around and he looked Lucifer up and down, his smile becoming more sinister and his eyes turned into radio dials.

“Unless you make deal with me~” Alastor hummed

Lucifer laughed “Why? Do you think I would give you my soul?! You’re dumber then I thought you were Bambi.” Alastor rolled his eyes. Irritated at the King’s mockery.

“I don't want your soul dear. I just want to be of service. You help me and I help you.”Lucifer stopped laughing, he stared at Alastor looking to see if he was serious. Alastor didn’t even flinch. He wasn’t joking. Part of him was intrigued. But this was the Radio Demon he was talking to. He was not going to fall right into Alastors game.

“You don't have to answer dear, you can just die in that box. Oh poor Charlie, I guess dear old dad failed her again.” Fuck, Lucifer's eyes widened, for once Alastor was right. He had failed Charlie again, she would hate him even more now. He swore he would change. Lucifer looked over at his ring. An image of Lilith flashed in his mind. She had been through so much, and he was not going to put Charlie through the pain of losing another parent. He wasn’t going to fail her anymore. He was going to do anything for Charlie. Even if it involved the Radio Demon.

Lucifer sighed “Ok I’ll make a deal with you… but what's in it for me.”Alastor's smile changed, it was almost unsettling but kind of genuine, in an evil way.

“ Look, my old… “friend” Vox wants to take over hell and heaven as you already know. But if we don't stop him our girl Charlie is going to end up hurt. I know you can't hurt us sinners but… I can. I will become your executioner~ if you want someone dead, I’ll kill them, if you want someone punished, I’ll punish them, I'll do whatever you wish for me. I can keep you and Charlie safe. And in return all, I ask is that you give me more power and break a few deals of mine. Everything you desire and more, I will give to you.”

Lucifer paused, he was taken back by Alastor's grand request. This man was truly crazy, he didn't want to give the person he hated most more power but… this was the only way to save his family. This was for Charlie.

Lucifer smiled. Not a happy smile but a smile of a man who was truly defeated

“It’s a deal.”

A lightning strike of green and yellow struck the room with a loud crash breaking Lucifer’s cage. Shattered glass was now all over the floor. Alastor’s ropes broke, letting him free his chair. He laughed maniacally, turning into his full form. Lucifer stood up grabbing his head in pain. He stared at his hands and back at Alastor. What had he done… he glanced back at his ring. Right, this was for Charlie. He gripped his fists as his eyes filled with rage. Alastor walked over to the angel bowing before him, extending his hand.

“Now my king, what is your first order that I can do for you?” Lucifer smiled, taking the demon’s hand.

He let out his wings going into his full demon form. Alastor lifted Lucifer, and flew over and perched on his shoulder, like a parrot.

“Kill that stuped TV man.”

“As you wish, your majesty.”

Chapter Text

It was late at night and the sky was a deep shade of red, only lit up by the light of heaven. Every one was sound asleep in their beds safe and sound. Everyone except Lucifer.

He was standing out on his balcony looking up at the bright heavenly planet in the sky. The place he once called home seemed only like a concept to him now. The war was over. Heaven and Hell now at peace. But most importantly Charlie was safe. But at what cost?

He didn't want to admit it but with Alastor, Charlie might not be here right now. Oh Alastor. Why couldn't he get him out of his head. Just a week ago he hated him more than anything, but now he owed him his life. Lucifer looked down at his ring, he fidgeted with it for a few minutes. Then slowly took it off. He held it up to the sky as it aligned with heaven. He smiled softly, he knew he needed to let go of the fantasy, the fantasy of his wife coming back. This was a new chapter for hell and maybe a new chapter for him as well. He kissed his ring one last time as he softly whispered “Thank you” and sat it down on the edge of the balcony as he walked back into his room.

He walked over to his desk and sat down. He looked at the new rubber duck he had made. It was ready to be painted, but what to turn it into? He pondered for a moment. But the only thing he could think of was the man that had taken up his entire mind. He got to crafting, the hour slowly slipped away from him as sooner than he knew it it was morning. The duck was finally finishing. Lucifer sat it down on the table, and just stared at it for a long time. He stared at the duck's eyes, imagining that they were Alastor’s. You know he's kind of pretty when he's not being a total dick. He certainly is quite the strange man. Lucifer‘s eyes felt heavy as the angel finally fell asleep at his desk, the image of Alastor still in his mind.

But Lucifer wasn’t the only one who was awake that night. A certain deer was awake in his radio tower. The sound of light jazz music floated throughout his room. He couldn’t sleep, the pain in his chest overwhelmed him. Even though Lucifer had given him more power. The wound on his chest still wasn’t fully healed. He slowly untied his bowtie and unbuttoned his shirt, for a moment he just looked at the wound. It was bad, it was a deep cut, luckily the blood had dried but there still was bruising all over his chest. He touched the wound lightly, sending a shock of pain throughout his entire body letting out a few static sounds. He needed medical care and he needed it fast, the wound was holding him back from his full potential. Alastor sat up, his hands tangled in his hair. I mean, he could always go to Lucifer for help with his angelic healing and all, but Alastor would rather be in pain for all eternity then show weakness in front of anyone, especially the man he was indebted to. Oh how he hated that man, but here he was being his loyal pet. It’s just part of the long game. A temporary solution. Soon enough, he won’t have to suck up to that stupid angel. He walked over to his liquor cabinet and pulled out a bottle of Sazerac alcohol that usually did the trick.

He grabbed a glass pouring the alcohol until it reached the top of his cup. He traced his finger along the rim of the glass, he dipped his finger into the gold liquid and licked it slowly. He picked up the glass, quickly downing the entire cup, then another , and another till he quickly finished the whole bottle. His body felt heavy, no longer being able to feel the pain in his chest. Still one certain man took up his mind. Lucifer. Such an arrogant man. Oh how you wanted to clip his wings and watch him slowly suffer as he took everything away from him. Alastor smiled. I wonder what angel blood would taste like~ Alastor thought to himself. Knowing Lucifer, it would probably be way too sweet, with how much sugar that man consumes. Alastor let out a chuckle. He laid back down, staring at the light on a ceiling. His arm reached up, attempting to grab the light. What a silly little man. Soon he would be all his.

In the morning, Charlie had prepared a big breakfast to celebrate the alliance between heaven and hell. The hotel was buzzing. The smell of pancakes, bacon and eggs floated through the halls as blue and red ribbon covered every surface. Everyone was sitting around the table ready to eat, but one seat was empty. Where was the king?

Chapter Text

“Hey Alastor I’m a little busy right now, would you mind going up and telling dad that breakfast is ready!!” Charlie said frantically, scurrying around carrying out huge plates of food.

Alastors ear twitch.
“Sure thing my dear.” Alastor said, his voice sounding a little more static than usual. Great, it's only 9 AM in the morning and Alastor already had to see that man's stupid face. The headache he had didn’t help either.

Alastor walked to Lucifer’s room. He chuckled a bit when he saw the “ No Alastor sign” right next to the door. So just to be polite, he decided to knock.

“Lucifer, your daughter made breakfast!” It was quiet for a while. No response. Was this man ignoring him? Please, it's too early for any drama. Alastor knocked again louder at this time.

“Lucifer, I know you’re in there. It’s too early in the morning for you to be ignoring me!” And still no reply. Alastor sighed. Who cares about a stupid sign, he was going into Lucifer’s room.

He opened up the door and immediately saw the piles of ducks all over the room. He really was obsessed. He looked around, admiring all of Lucifer’s little trinkets until his eyes fixated on a certain portrait. It seemed to be quite old. It was a photo of Lucifer, Charlie and Lilith together. They seemed happy. Alastor had never seen Lucifer smile like that. Such a genuine, soft smile. He just stood there for a moment, staring. Then he stopped.

What was I thinking? Geez, how much alcohol did I drink last night? Alastor shook his head, returning to the task at hand.

He looked over to see a beam of sunlight, coming from the balcony, illuminating a sleeping Lucifer curled up at his desk like a cat. He walked over, looking down at the sleeping angel, he looked so disheveled. The sunlight revealed streaks of gold in his messy blonde hair, there were splotches of red and black paint all over his fingers, I spit tripped from his mouth onto the table. He certainly did not look like a king. Alastor carefully pushed some of his golden hair out of his face, softly touching his cheek. He felt the warmth of his breath as he rose up and down. He was kind of pretty when he was asleep. He was vulnerable and so weak. Alastor could’ve killed him right there, but he didn’t. That’s when he saw it. Cradle in Lucifer‘s hands was his newest creation, a duck that looked like him. He picked it up. It was quite detailed, almost impressive. And weirdly accurate. But the sweet moment couldn’t last; he was sent here to get Lucifer to come down for breakfast, not to admire him. So he whacked Lucifer on the head with his cane.

“Lucifer, dear it’s time to wake up~”

“ Hey what was that for!?” Lucifer grabbed his head. And scolded angrily at the deer. Alastor just leaned down, smiling back in amusement.

“Your daughter has prepared a lovely breakfast now, get yourself cleaned up and be down in five.”
Alastor patted Lucifer on the head and fluffed up his hair a bit, then quickly slipped into the shadows, leaving Lucifer very confused about what had just happened. He looked over to see his newest duck he had made last night but it had seemed to have gone missing. Lucifer stood up from his desk and just laughed.

“Oh you cheeky bastard!” He smiled to himself, he pushed his hair back, he started humming to himself as he went to get ready. Maybe the radio demon wasn’t so bad.

Outside of his room was a very flustered Alastor looking down at his custom duck in his hands. His smile dropped slightly. He didn't know why he grabbed the duck but he did. He looked over to see his shadow, giving him a look.

“Oh, shut up would you? I still hate that man, I just … have to make him believe that I like him. He's just a pawn in my game.”
Alastor threw the duck on the ground. pretending not to care. Fixing his suit, he put back on his charming persona.

“Now then, I believe we have breakfast to attend to!” Proceeding to walk downstairs. But just when no one was looking, his shadow sneaky went back and picked up the duck. Putting it right next to Alastor radio in his room, on his bedside table.

Chapter Text

Down at breakfast, there were trays of assorted dishes of almost every breakfast food you could imagine. It smelled heavenly, but Lucifer had only one food on his mind: pancakes. He quickly rushed over. Grabbing a tall stack of pancakes, almost half the size of him. He drizzled on a load of maple syrup and put on a mountain of whipped cream. He sat down, excited to dig in! But sitting across from him was a very Jugy Alastor.

“My my what a tall stack of pancakes for such a short person~ are you really gonna eat all that sugar? Please, it’s revolting.”Lucifer peered over the tower of pancakes, frustrated that someone interrupted his breakfast.

“Wait, are you saying you hate pancakes?” Lucifer asked, his eyebrow raised in suspicion.

“I don’t particularly care for sweets so I suppose that includes pancakes” Lucifer gasp How could anyone hate pancakes? And here he thought this man couldn’t get any more annoying. Lucifer looked over at Alastor's plate to see a dead deer head. Quite the site for 9 AM in the morning.
Lucifer mumbled under his breath

“ Disgusting, judging my pancakes when you’re eating that” Alastor noticed the comment but said nothing about it. Lucifer turned back to his pancakes and angrily started eating mouthfuls but soon forgot about Alastor. I mean, who could be angry while eating pancakes?

Despite the hiccup at the beginning of breakfast, the rest of the meal went on smoothly. Lucifer was too busy eating his pancakes to pay any attention to Alastor, while Alastor was listening to Charlie ramble on and on about her newest exercise. At the end of the meal the two both left satisfied, even if both their taste in breakfast were questionable.

Alastor lightly tapped his face with his napkin, wiping off any trace of blood. He stood up from his chair but right when he was about to go upstairs, he looked over at Lucifer, who had whipped cream on his face.

Cute.

Alastor walked over to the king who was still sloppily eating his pancakes. He leaned down to Lucifer’s height tapping him on the shoulder, Lucifer looked over in annoyance only a small gap of space separated them.

“Now now, dear you’re a king at least show proper manners.” Lucifer rolled his eyes and tried to dismiss Alastor, but to surprise Alastor grabbed his face tilting Lucifer's chin up, and whipped the whipped cream off Lucifer‘s face with his thumb.

“ There, much better!” Alastor smiled at Lucifer, not his usual smile, more friendly and almost genuine. Lucifer’s face flushed gold at the unusual gesture. Alastor quickly pulled Lucifer’s hat down, covering his face ruining the sweet moment and he proceeded to walk away. When Alastor turned around, he liked the whipped cream off of his thumb. And carried on as if nothing happened, leaving a very flushed Lucifer in shock again, as he scrambled to fix his hat.

Chapter 5: The bar

Summary:

The hotel was quiet, too quiet and lonely Lucifer sat in his room. Today was the anniversary of his wife leaving, but what happened when he tries to make these feelings go away, with the help of a certain radio demon.

Notes:

Hiiii longer chapter finally! Also things finally get a little spicy.

Chapter Text

The following weeks were slow, I mean the hotel was more packed than it had ever been, but at least they weren’t fighting a war anymore. Lucifer was spending more time with Charlie trying to help out whenever he could, but usually Charlie was capable of handling it on her own (with the help of Vaggi). Lucifer tried to act like he wasn’t that desperate but in reality, he was lonely and he really did enjoy hanging out and helping with the hotel. He still didn’t love sinners, but he loved Charlie so maybe he could learn to like them.

Surprisingly Alastor kept to himself more recently, not as many petty comments, or stepping in to outshine Lucifer; though he did catch Alastor staring at him a few times, still as creepy as ever. But he mainly just monitored the hotel guests, lurking from the shadows. For some reason Lucifer kind of missed Alastor pettiness. He would never admit it, but he honestly enjoyed having someone’s company even if that someone was just blatantly annoying him the entire time, it was nice to at least have someone to talk to.

Tonight was particularly lonely. It was the anniversary of the day Lilith left. This day was always hard for Lucifer but being with Charlie made it a little better. Later that night, after Charlie went to bed, the hotel was quiet, too quiet. Lucifer hated this kind of quiet. The kind of silence that made everything feel cold and lonely. Lucifer’s thoughts only got louder with quiet. He sat in his room curled up on his bed, wrapped in his wings. The cold night breeze echoed throughout his room like a silent scream, sending shivers down his back as he sat there shaking, he could feel his heart racing in his chest. As a wave of anxiety flooded his thoughts. He squeezed his chest even tighter, his breathing got heavy as he tried to take a deep breath. He needed to calm down, he needed something to take the edge off, he needed a drink. He slowly got up from his bed. His vision got blurry as he tried not to cry. His steps were shaky as he walked towards the door, but something stopped him in his tracks.

Lucifer looked up at the wall in front of him, His eyes fixated on an old portrait of him and his family. The picture stared back down at him, like a predator looking at its prey, mocking him. It was the last photo he had left of his wife. The last trace of his once happy family. Without it, he would have to admit she was really gone. Everything in his body told him to give up. She was never coming back. But there was still a little flicker of light in his heart, a spark of hope that one day she would come back, but as the year slipped by that day seemed more and more unlikely. Oh what happened? He used to have it all, he used to be happy. But what was he now? Just a pathetic man who had locked himself away. A shell of what he used to be, trapped in an internal prison of his own creation, forced to watch as everything he ever loved slowly slipped away from him. A failure. He failed as an angel. He failed as a husband, but worst of all he failed as a father. Forever destined for eternal loneliness.

He tenderly took the portrait off the wall, he held it carefully as a single tear rolled down his cheek, falling onto the picture blurring Lilith's face. Time doesn’t heal emotional pain, you need to learn how to let go. It was time to move on. He sat the picture down on his desk with shaky hands and a heavy heart he began to walk out. He took one last good look at his room, staring at the now empty spot on the wall. She was gone, all he could do was move forward. Grief was just the price to pay for love. He took a deep breath and he closed the door, closing this chapter of his life. The flame of hope in his heart had finally burned out, leaving behind an empty hole in his heart, something that could never be filled.

He walked down to the common area, his footsteps dragged along the carpet and his fingers traced the sides of the hotel walls. His body felt heavy. He quietly made his way to the bar. He grabbed a bottle of champagne and took a seat. He poured the bottle into a glass watching the little bubbles come up to the top of the glass and slowly fall back down. He slipped the drink slowly, feeling the warmth of alcohol, go down his throat. He looked down at his hands to see his now bare ring finger, they felt lighter no longer carrying the chain of his broken marriage. He covered his face as hot tears began to run down his rosie cheeks. The sound of muffled cries cutting through the silence of the night.

Yet again, Alastor was awakened in his radio tower, the one soothing jazz music was now just radio static with a hint of a broken melody. His chest seemed to hurt more and more by the day, even the smallest movements were agony, it was hard for him to even maintain a smile. How pathetic. His hands pulled on to his hair, trying to mask the pain. He reached over for his usual bottle of alcohol, to find that it was empty. Shit. Alastor gave a deep sigh. He stood up with the help of his bedside table, grabbing his chest and pain. He quickly grabbed a cigarette taking a long drag as he prepared to walk down to the hotel bar to grab a new bottle.

———————-

Alastor’s footsteps echoed through the halls. Every step was an uphill battle, his breathing was heavy as the hallway filled with a trail of smoke from his cigarette. The closer he walked to the bar it became apparent that he wasn’t alone. Was something watching him? He couldn’t stand the thought of someone seeing him in the state. His eyes frantically scanned every corner as he stumbled his way through the hotel.

Finally Alastor got close enough to the bar just to find a crying Lucifer, much to his dismay. At least he found what was making all the noise. Alastor sighed. He was already in enough physical pain and now he was going to have to deal with emotional pain, his fingers pinched the bridge of his nose as he could feel a headache already starting to form. He threw his cigarette on the floor and crushed it with his foot, reluctantly he quickly snapped into his charming persona putting on a smile. He attempted to fix his hair and straighten his bowtie, as he walked over to the bar, taking a seat next to Lucifer.

“Well, hello there your majesty!” Alastor said, reaching over and grabbing a bottle of whiskey, pouring himself a glass. The smell of smoke still lingering on his lips, alerting Lucifer to his presence.

“Al… I’m really not in the mood for any petty comments so if you’re here, just to torment me just leave.” Lucifer said, his words muffled by his crying.

“I’m not here for you, dear. I actually have a life outside of you, but nevertheless I’m just grabbing a drink. I can leave if you want.” Alastor was about to walk away, when he felt something pulling on his shirt, he looked over to see a helpless Lucifer. The bags under his eyes were heavy, his hair was an absolute mess and tears streamed down his face, but still the look he gave was so genuine and so… pathetic, and for some reason Alastor couldn’t look away. Alastor’s face softened, his smile dropping and becoming a bit more genuine.

“ Stay.., please” Lucifer said softly. Alastor, shocked at the King's display, sat back down.

“Yes, your majesty” Lucifer gave out a slight chuckle. For a moment they both just sat there in silence, drinking though this time it wasn’t bad silence it was comforting in a way. The cold hallways of the hotel started to feel warmer and more comforting.

Lucifer looked over at Alastor; he looked like he hadn’t slept for weeks. He didn't have his coat on, just his dress shirt, his hair was slightly messier than usual, his bowtie was slightly crooked and his sleeves were rolled up, revealing tiny deer- like spots on his arm. This was the calmest Lucifer had ever seen him.

Alastor caught Lucifer‘s gaze, though he didn’t look away. Lucifer was looking at him with wide eyes filled with curiosity and confusion, almost endearing.

“ Why are you here?” Lucifer asked, looking away from Alastor. His voice was soft yet stable. He poured himself another glass of champagne. The bubbles breaking through the silence like knives. Alastor's ears twitched, his heart rate increased. He couldn’t tell Lucifer about his injury, so he quickly dodged the question.

“Can't a man just want to drink?” Alastor said. Raising an eyebrow.

“No I mean, why are you here with me? A few weeks ago, you hated me but now… I just don’t get it? Why are you being nice to me?” Alastor just sat there staring at Lucifer for a second, in shock at the King's question. He was right. He didn’t have to stay. He didn’t have to be nice. In fact, he hated it but something about Lucifer filled his heart with desire, a desire to be close to him, to protect him.

“I’m supposed to protect you aren’t I? That’s our deal. Would you feel safer if I left?”

“No…”

“See that is why I’m here.”

“Is that the only reason you’re here?” Alastor emitted a few static sounds.

“I…”

Alastor looked away, his smile dropping. In reality, he didn’t need to be there at all. Why was he doing this? Had he gone soft? Alastor's ears flopped down at the thought. Lucifer gasped, Alastor looked over in panic to see what the shock was for.

“Wait, those are ears?! They're so cute! Can I please pet them?” Suddenly Lucifer switched. He had the stupidest smiling on his face, his eyes were wide and full of sparkles, and his voice was all high-pitched like he was a little kid. He was smiling like he was in that stupid portrait in his room. And for some reason seeing Lucifer, like this made Alastor's heart skip a beat. Alastor sighed. Why was he so soft for this man?

“If I let you pet my ears… will you stop crying?” Lucifer nodded his head rapidly.

“Fine. But this is the only time you will ever do this, OK!?”

Alastor tilted his head down. Lucifer slowly reached out. His ears were soft and velvety but most of all so fluffy, Lucifer brushed his fur back-and-forth gently like he was petting an animal,. Alastor just sat there, his hands covering his face in embarrassment and defeat. Here he was. The most powerful sinner in hell. A man who owned hundreds of souls. A man who was feared by most of hell. The literal radio demon. And here he was letting someone pet him like a dog. Maybe it was the alcohol. He would never say it out loud, but he did kind of like it. It felt kind of nice in a way. But Lucifer, getting a bit too comfortable, tried to touch the inside of Alastor's ears, and as soon as he did Alastor let out a soft deer squeak.

Alastor’s head shot up from embarrassment. His face tinted red. Lucifer immediately removed his hands, from Alastor’s ears.

“ Wait… did you just squeak? Like a deer?” Lucifer started laughing. Who knew the radio demon could be this cute.

“Not. A. Word.” Alastor said his voice getting more static, he quickly pushed Lucifer‘s hands away and took a big sip of alcohol. Lucifer still dying laughing, poured himself another glass of champagne; he immediately chugged it, finishing off the bottle, he looked over at the quite flustered demon with a smug smile on his face.

For a while it was quiet. Lucifer’s heart was racing, he wanted to talk to Alastor but what to say. Should he keep quiet about how he was feeling or say something else? He didn't want Alastor to be uncountable around him. He wants more out of their relationship, not just quick conversation or petty fights, maybe he wanted Alastor to be his friend? But he wasn’t sure that what he was feeling was friendship. He wanted him to stay. A few more moments of silence passed. Lucifer traced the rim of his glass with his finger just staring at Alastor who was still sipping his drink. This might be the alcohol talking, but God he was kind of hot… Fuck it. He was drunk so why not have fun.

“You know, Bambi, you're kind of cute when you’re not being mean," Alastor looked over as Lucifer leaned in closer, his face flushed a shade of gold. Teasing the Radio Demon.

“Lucifer. You’re clearly drunk.” Alastor rolled his eyes, he tried pushing Lucifer away, the angel just grabbed the demon's hand kissing it softly, sending a chill down Alastor’s spine.

“So~ I can be drunk and still think you're cute.” Lucifer leaned in even closer to Alastor, one of his hands was now on Alastor's chest, and the other was wrapped around his waist. Alastor's muscles tightened as he flinched at Lucifer’s touch. He looked down at the king, who was now fully on his lap. Alastor just sat there like a deer and headlights getting more flustered by the second. What was he doing?

“ Your majesty…” Alastor tried to talk to say something but his insides were screaming. Every fiber of his being told him to push him away, to stop whatever was going on but he did it. Lucifer’s hand moved up from Alastor's chest, now fidgeting with his bowtie.

“You know, I miss you…” Alastor’s ears shot up in surprise. “It gets lonely around here and I miss having someone to talk to… even when you’re insulting me. I kind of like it when you’re mean to me. It’s kind of hot.”

SHIT.

SHIT SHIT SHIT WHAT THE FUCK WAS GOING ON!!!! DID THE KING OF HELL JUST CALL ME HOT?

Alastor gulped, as he felt a drop of sweat trickle down his face he was now fully red. But Lucifer kept going, “Awww~ cat got your tongue Bambi?” Lucifer’s other hand moved from Alastor's waist to his hair petting his ear slightly. “why don’t you make me shut up as well?” Lucifer pulled on Alastor's bowtie pulling him closer. Alastor could feel Lucifer's heartbeat on top of his, as he closed the gap between them. Alastor tale started wagging as he tried not to act too excited.

Lucifer kissed him softly. He tasted like gin. That sweet addictive liquid. Oh how he craved this. And how he wanted more. He pulled Lucifer closer, his hands grabbing his waist. And for a moment, time stopped. His heart stopped racing, the pain in his chest went away, all he could feel was the warmth of Lucifer's body on top of his, as the two souls melted into one. All he wanted at that moment was Lucifer… but this fantasy couldn’t last.

Lucifer's hands fell out of Alastor’s hair as his face sank into Alastor’s chest. It had seen that the alcohol had finally caught up with the drunken king who had fallen asleep right in Alastor’s arms. Alastor just sat there in shock for a moment, the taste of Lucifer still lingering on his lips. Then suddenly came to his senses.

Fuck.

Chapter Text

DID I JUST MAKEOUT WITH THE DEVIL!!???

Alastor's head immediately flooded with worry. Oh fuck this is bad. I was supposed to make him think I liked him, not fall in love with me! Shit was I in love with Lucifer? No… this was not love. But what was this? This certainly was not according to the plan, that's for sure. This cannot be happening. Not when I’m this close... but why don’t I want it to stop?

Alastor’s mind went on and on and on, until he looked down to see his sleeping beauty, blissfully unaware about what he just did. Oh he was going to kill him when he woke up. Alastor smiled softly. He was so beautiful when he was asleep. Something about seeing the most powerful being in all of hell so weak and vulnerable, made Alastor feel a mix of fondness and desire. He ran his fingers through Lucifer‘s hair, he could feel Lucifer‘s chest rising and falling slowly as Lucifer buried his face into Alastor's chest. Oh what to do now~

He slowly picked up the sleepy angel, trying his best, not to wake him. He stood up, Lucifer in his arms, he snapped his fingers and teleported them up to Lucifer’s room.

He quietly walked over to Lucifer‘s bed and sat him down gently. Carefully he tucked him in, as Lucifer nuzzled into his crimson pillows. He stared at his angel for a moment, a soft breeze whispered through the air. He carefully picked up Lucifer’s hand, as he bent down gently giving him a kiss. “Good night, my dear” Alastor whispered softly. letting go with Lucifer‘s hand.

Alastor walked out on Lucifer‘s balcony, pondering about their new relationship. It wasn’t love. Alastor knew that for sure. He couldn’t feel love. Still he wanted to be with Lucifer. Not to kiss or to touch, to be there to protect him, he didn’t want to share the people he cared about with anyone else; he wanted to be the only person who could hurt him, the only person to protect him, the only person who cared about him, the only person he loved. But what was he to Lucifer? His hand entangled in his hair softly, tugging at the roots, as his ears started twitching. Did he want something more? Did he even mean anything he said? He was quite drunk, but yet again, so was Alastor. I mean, he wouldn’t be mad if he loved him. Still the thought scared him.

Love. What is love? Is love a feeling, or thought? Is it just a bunch of silly words with meaning? Is it enough just to feel love for someone or do you have to express it? How do you show love? Is love giving someone chocolates, holding their hands, kissing them, going on cheesy dates? or something more personal? When does something get considered to be love? Love, at all, is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken. So I keep my heart close because to be vulnerable is to be weak. Love was never made for someone like me. Burning with desire and keeping quiet about it is the greatest punishment we can bring on ourselves. This was Alastor’s own personal hell. Because what’s worse than knowing you want something, besides knowing you can never have it? Oh, what did he do to deserve such a divine punishment?

Alastor looked up at the dark red sky, his eyes frantically chittering back-and-forth as his vision became slightly blurry, he pushed back some of his hair pulling at the strands but something caught his attention. He let out a deep and frantic sigh, grabbing onto the railing, trying to steady his breath. A spark of light. He looked over at the other side of the balcony, his eyes locking on to a small shiny object, his vision steady. He walked over and picked up the small object, it was a ring. The ring was smooth and golden, simple yet elegant, almost familiar; there even was something engraved on the inside. Alastor’s fingers trail along the text as it read “Forever, my love eternally burns for you,” He read the words as if they were poisoned. Love was the last thing he wanted in his mind but here he was. That’s when it hit him, this was Lucifer. Fuck. This man still had a wife. Lilith. He gripped the ring, clutching it into his fist as he grit his teeth. Sure she was out of the picture but for how long? Does Lucifer still have a connection to her? Was… he still in love with her? For some reason, the thought of Lucifer loving another made Alastor stomach drop in anger, like a whole was shot through his heart. Great as if this fucked up plot couldn’t get any messier now there was a love triangle.

Suddenly, his shadow appeared emerging from the dark, and handed him a cigarette and a lighter.

“Thank you…”

Alastor leaned forward on the balcony, his thoughts spiraling once more, he felt a soft comfort from the lighter as the glow of the flame trail along his skin. He took a long drag of his cigarette though it didn’t help much. Leaning forward onto the balcony he watched as the smoke left his mouth and left off into the midst of the night sky. He opened his fist ring still clenched in his hand. He looked at it, then back inside at the sleeping Lucifer, his gaze softening slightly, and then back at his shadow. He slumped further forward, his eyes shifting outwards, avoiding his shadows' pitiful look.

“Not a word… please just don’t give me that look.
Don’t question my actions more than I do. Just let me think… please.”

His voice was soft yet stoic. Alastor's smile dropped completely. There was no more façade. He couldn’t hide from this; he couldn't run. His shadow nodded and slowly creeped away back into the darkness of the night.

Everything was quiet again.

———————
The next morning, or more like early afternoon, Lucifer arose from his slumber. He let out a soft yawn, he put his arms up and stretched out his back, his tail curling, taking a moment to soak up the day. He blinked slowly. He grabbed his head, which had a slight headache. Though he couldn’t remember why? Nevertheless, he slowly got out of bed, slipping into his duck theme slippers, his eyes still a little foggy as he walked towards the bathroom, his slippers letting out light squeaks.

He walked over entering his bathroom, the floors and walls covered with white tile as red and gold accent trace the room, as his chandelier beam down with a warm glow illuminating the room. A bathroom fit for a king. He slowly undressed, throwing his clothes on the floor. He walked over to his vanity, grabbing his red shower cap and placing it on his head, he pulled back his red shower curtain with rubber ducks on it, turning on the shower. The feeling of warm water trickled down his skin. Just what he needed to start the day. He began washing himself using all sorts of Apple centered soaps steam slowly filling the room, as he humped a soft tune.
“Looks like you could use some help from the big boss of hell himself~” but Lucifer was not alone.

Outside on the balcony it had seemed that Alastor had fallen asleep last night. He was curled up against the railing, ring still in hand. Suddenly, he was awoken by the sound of rushing water. His eyes shot open, and his ears stood up straight listening to Lucifer’s soft singing as the scent of Apple slowly wafted through the air. Fuck. He grabbed the railing slowly, pulling himself up, as the sensation in his chest finally hit him, though it was muffled by the pain in his head which was throbbing. What a way to start the morning. He let out the soft groan. He pushed back his hair. And as quietly as possible, trying to tiptoe out of the room.
But when he was almost out the door suddenly
“SQUEK!” Alastor immediately looked down to see he had accidentally stepped on one of Lucifer‘s many ducks. His face filled with panic. Lucifer, confused, grabbed his robe and went to investigate what made the noise. Alastor heard the water turned off and immediately bolted for the door.

Lucifer walked out of his bathroom, leaving a trail of wet footprints behind him, he looked out into his room just to see that nothing was there. He raised his eyebrow, taking a few steps forward taking one good scan then “SQUEK” Lucifer looked down to see his magic back flipping rubber duck on the floor he immediately picked it up, feeling guilty that he had stepped on it.

“Awwww poor baby did you fall down?! You gave me quite the scare” Lucifer tapped the duck on the nose, and let out a little chuckle. Placing the duck back down on his desk and walking back into his bathroom to continue his shower.

Outside of the room was a very frantic Alastor pressed against the door panting heavily, hoping he wouldn’t get caught. His hands pressed against his mouth, trying not to make noise. He stood there for a few moments until he heard the queue of water turning back on notifying him that he was in the clear. He took a deep breath. Still a little frazzled by the whole interaction. He slowly began to tip toe away, trying to make it back to his room, but of course he couldn’t make it 5 feet away from Lucifer‘s room until something stopped him in his tracks.

“Alastor!?” Alastor stopped frozen in his tracks, his ears shooting up at the sound of a very familiar voice. He spun his head around a full 180 degrees just to see a very confused Angel Dust. Angel looked at Alastor then the door to Lucifer‘s room then back at Alastor raising his eyebrow, baffled at Alastor’s weird display. Suddenly it clicked, his confusion turning into curiosity, as a smug expression spread across his face.

“Are you sleeping with the short king?” Angel asked teasingly. He made a circle with one of his hands, pulling his finger in and out making a sexual motion. Alastor’s face turned a bright red, his ear twitched as sweat trickled down his face, he turned his body fully around facing Angel. He tried to say something, but the words got caught in his throat. Angel chuckled at the site of the flustered Radio Demon. Alastor quickly readjusted, snapping back into his usual composed self, he scrambled to fix his monocle, his smile becoming more irritated, as it stretched to the corners of his face.

“No, no my dear! My friend and I just had ourselves a friendly little chat. There's a lot to do now that the hotel is this busy, just planning for the future.” Angel raised an eyebrow.

“Sure~ It was just a meeting" Angel rolled his eyes teasing the Radio Demon, who was getting progressively more irritated with the spider's antics.

Alastor’s eyes turned turn black, his pupils turning into radio dials. His horns grew just a few feet, his smile becoming more sinister sharper as blood dripped from his mouth the hallway darkened lights, flickering as it slowly filled with shadow and everything once static, tiny pops, and cracks, came from his bones as he slowly grew taller as a green glow slowly appeared behind him. His voice deepened, no longer having his signature charm. “Now if I ever hear you talking about this to anyone, I will tear you limb from limb as I broadcast your screams through all of hell… hmmm you know what sounds good right now bacon. Wouldn’t want your little friend to get hurt now would you?” He bent down, slightly towering over, a trembling Angel.

His eyes were wide, his breathing was heavy, he took a loud gulp “Understood” Angel said his voice was shaky. One set of arms grabbed his chest in fear, the other set clenched into fist at the threat, he took a step back. “Charlie… just wanted me to come tell you and Lucifer that she needed your help downstairs with the guest…” Alastor turned back into his normal form as the hallway turned back to normal. His eyes still locked onto Angel like a predator looking at its prey.

“Why don’t you run along now dear, all informed the king and will be down in a jiffy.” Alastor looked at his nails and then waved the man off in dismissal, with his usual toothy grin. Angel stood there frozen and then slowly backed away, turning around and running down the stairs, his foot sets still shaky, the sound of his heels echoing through the hallway.

Alastor waited till the spider demon was fully down the stairs dropping to his knees and hurling over in pain. He grabbed his chest aching in pain, it stung like knives, he clenched his fist, ripping on his clothes, his vision became unsteady, sweat trickled down his back. He was burning up, his body was screaming at him clenching his muscles, as loud static echoed through the halls. He struggled to stay awake, feeling like he was going to collapse. He coughed as blood pooled out from his mouth, his throat tightened, gagging at the sensation gasping for air. He squeezed his chest even tighter, fully ripping through his shirt as he felt his nails tugging on his skin. He squeezed his eyes shut, his smile still never wavering, holding his breath. Slowly, the pain subsided. He let out a deep sigh gasping for air, his heart still beating rapidly in his chest, he wiped the blood off of his chin, his ears still ringing, he leaned against the hotel wall slowly sifting his body so he could stand up, leaning against the wall in exhaustion, one hand still grabbing his chest in pain. Slowly, with the help of the wall, he made it to his room, leaving a small trail of blood.

He opened the door, his room was dark only lit up by a soft green glow coming from his Bayou as he walked in a flock of fireflies flew over illuminating the room his shadow emerged from the corner shocked to see Alastor in such a state. It’s slithered over, grabbing Alastor's hand, helping him keep his balance as he carefully set Alastor down on his crimson reading chair, Alastor reached over to the coffee table next to him grabbing a bottle of pain medication, he frantically opened the bottle with shaky hands, dumping the pills into his mouth, swallowing dry. Taking a deep breath he looked down at a pool of red now staining his shirt, slowly he took off his bowtie and unbuttoned his shirt. The wound was worse than I’ve ever been, it had reopened, his stitches ripped, the edges of the wound were black as the rest of his chest was practically purple from bruising. It looked like he was practically sliced in half. He let out a deep sigh, pinching the bridge between his nose. Taking another deep breath he tried touching the wound but immediately a shock of pain was sent down his spine, as he let out a deer squeak followed by radio static. His shadow crept up behind him, very concerned about Alastor’s well-being he handed the demon a roll of bandage he had borrowed from Nifty, Alastor graciously accepted and he wrapped the bandages around the wound as carefully as he could, without it hurting too much.

Finally, the pain was manageable. He let out a deep breath and exhaustion, and sunk into his chair, taking a moment of rest. He closed his eyes, his breath slowed his smile dropping ever so slightly. When suddenly he remembered, he needed to help out Charlie with her activity. His eyes shot open. As he quickly sat up straight, letting out a very loud annoyed grown. He walked over to his dresser, picking out new clean clothes. He quickly threw those on, grabbed his stuff and walked out the door. He walked over to Lucifer‘s room, his eyes twitching. He really does not want to face him, especially after what happened last night. Taking a deep breath he knocked on the door, preparing for the awkwardness of the conversation to come.

Lucifer who was still happily singing in the shower, was abruptly interrupted by a knock on the door, turning the water off he quickly grabbed a towel, tying it around his waist. He excitedly walked over to the door, leaving a trail of white footprints behind him.

Lucifer grabbed the door handle and quickly flung it open, his smile dropping as he looked up just to see the sight of a certain radio demon. He really didn’t wanna deal with this man right now, especially with his headache this morning. Alastor looked down, to see Lucifer half naked, his lower half only wrapped in a towel. Alastor held his breath. His skin was milky white with golden scars all over his arms and stomach, his hair was sopping wet and slightly pushed back as water trickled from his ends to his chest, steam wafted out of the room, the sense of apples slowly trickling behind. Alastor flustered at the display, frozen in shock. Lucifer leaned against the door frame, with an irritated expression on his face annoyed at Alastor’s sudden intrusion.

“Did you miss the sign or can you just not read?” Lucifer asked sassily, gritting his teeth and rolling his eyes. Pointing to the “No Alastor allowed” sign.

“Oh…” Alastor still flustered, took a moment to process what he was seeing, then quickly clapped back, moving his eyes from Lucifer’s chest to his face. “No, I read it!” Alastor’s smile grew becoming more mischievous as he twirled his cane. “Charlie needs us downstairs, something about helping with guests.” Lucifer looked Alistair up and down. His eyes widening, at the sound of Charlie’s name. Quickly fire emerged, engulfing Lucifer as he suddenly was fully dressed and dry, cane in hand ready for the day, he even did a little spin.

“Well if Charlie needs help then it’s my time to daddy up!” Lucifer said with enthusiasm twirling his cane mimicking Alastor but he accidentally hit himself on the head. Alastor laughed at the King's funny gestures, but this time he wasn’t laughing to make fun of Lucifer, It was something softer and more genuine. Lucifer noticed this, staring at Alastor with wide eyes, confused by Alastor’s shift in behavior. He waved his cane in Alistair‘s face, trying to get the man to stop laughing.

“Yeah, yeah whatever Bambi, now will you please shut up?!” Alastor stopped laughing, he bent down, his eyes staring back at Lucifer’s, holding a sharp eye contact.

“Ha ha ha! Never~” Alastor said playfully, teasing Lucifer. Lucifer’s eye twitched now more irritated, but Alastor’s display a mockery. Standing on his tippy toes, Lucifer got up into Alastor's personal space, his face filled with frustration playing into Alastor teasing.

“Bite me!” Lucifer said, raising his tone as a smug smirk spread across his face. Alastor just stared back, calm, and collected. He placed his hand on Lucifer’s chest pulling on the collar of his shirt, leaning in close to Lucifer‘s ear. Lucifer could hear Alastor’s breathing, he felt hot breath trickle down his neck. Lucifer looked at Alastor in confusion, his heart now beating in his chest taking a loud gulp, as a drop of sweat fell from his face.

“Only if you ask nicely~” The words sent shivers down Lucifer's spine. His face immediately flushed with gold, his eyes still fixed on Alastor, not really computing what just happened, not even looking down when he felt a slight bulge in his pants. Alastor looked down, seeing Lucifer‘s tent, content with his teasing, he straightened his back. His hand lingering sliding down Lucifer's chest stopping when he touched the button of Lucifer's pants, he licks his lips, his eyes never wavering.

“Well now I believe we should be going. I wouldn't want to keep Charlie waiting would we?” Alastor said softly then immediately acted as if he did nothing, popping Lucifer on the head with his cane, and turning around proceeding to walk out, trying to contain his laughter over a very excited Lucifer. Lucifer was now as yellow as a pineapple, still very much in shock at what just happened. He tried to come up with a response, but the words just got caught in his throat. He shook his head, his thoughts still a blurry, as he scrambled to catch up with Alastor on his way to go help Charlie, forgetting to grab his hat.

Chapter Text

Down stairs, there was a very worried Charlie pacing back and forth wondering where Alastor and her dad were.

“You sure Alastor said he could handle it Angel?” Charlie looked over at Angel who was still shaking, curled up with husk on the couch as the cat demon tried to calm him down.

“Yeah he said “All get the king and will be down in a jiffy.”... or something like that” Angel said, his voice unstable, as he squeezed husk even tighter, husk looked up at Angel with a worried expression.

Charlie frowned, and continued to pace back-and-forth even faster, mumbling about her dad, becoming even more frustrated. Vaggi saw Charlie starting to spiral, she walked over to placing her hand on Charlie’s shoulders stopping her in her tracks. She carefully tilted Charlie’s chin up, who looked at her in surprise “Babe, I'm sure they’re fine, maybe they just need a second.” Vaggi looked at Charlie with reassurance as Charlie took a deep breath, looking at Vaggi with a mix of love and doubtfulness, but still she did need to calm down. “ You’re probably right, it’s just…” Charlie tried to finish her sentence but then a burst of flames appeared and out came Lucifer who was very frazzled at what just happened, a few minutes ago. He scrambled to adjust himself, then looked out at a very relieved Charlie.

“Great dad you’re finally here! Now we can just get started as soon as…” but yet again, Charlie was interrupted by a certain Radio Demon walking down the stairs, his cane clicking against the floor, as light jazz music filled the room, he looked to be in his usual charming persona. “So sorry to keep you waiting my dear!” Alastor placed his hand on Charlie's shoulder, “Me and your father we’re just having a quick conversation that’s all” Alastor looked over at Angel huddled on the couch as he greeted his teeth, Angel quickly averted his gaze, looking back he saw a very frustrated Lucifer giving him quite the death glare, Alastor just smiled back giving the king a friendly wave. Lucifer rolled his eyes, his face still a little flushed, taking a seat on the couch Alastor followed suit, but sitting on the opposite end.

After finally getting everyone together, Charlie started ranting about her newest activity, but Lucifer couldn’t focus at all. All he could think about was Alastor. He sat there disassociating, his thoughts sending him into a spiral of panic and confusion. His body was hot, his headache was getting worse, his chest felt heavy and his leg started jittering. He looked over at Alastor who was just sitting staring off into space seeming completely fine. Oh this mother fucker, one of these days he was going to send him to double hell. Lucifer was now even more annoyed, mainly over the fact that it seemed as if Alastor didn’t care. But why did this frustrate him? Did he want the Radio Demon to care? I mean, he did just flirt with him. Lucifer grabbed his head, geez what happened last night? The last thing he could remember was when he was at the bar and he heard someone walking up to him, but their silhouette was blurry, come on think Lucifer!

“Dad, are you good?” Lucifer immediately snapped back to reality. Looking up to see Charlie looking at him with a mix of confusion and worry, he quickly shook his head.

“Don't worry Char char i’m fineeeeeee! Just got a little distracted.” Lucifer looked around the room, just to see if everyone was giving him the same confused look everyone but Alastor. Lucifer frowned, but quickly composed himself, remembering why he was here. Right for Charlie. Looking back at his daughter, giving her an awkward smile.

“Ok if you say so dad! Anyway, do you mind helping me with this next part” Charlie gave her dad a soft smile, Lucifer gleamed back in excitement, quickly standing up and walking over to Charlie,

“Yes my dearest daughter!” he cleared his throat “Soooo what can I do for you?” Lucifer let out his hand, as flame erupted, his hat appeared tipping it towards Charlie who looked at him in amazement.

“Well today’s activity, as you already know, is about showing affection to other people! You know, coming off friendly. So for today’s activity you guys are going to challenge yourselves to give each other a quality hug that lasts for 20 seconds, allowing time for the bonding effects of friendship!” Lucifer looked at Charlie with a mix of disappointment and a resilience to make his daughter happy.

“Ok sure I can do!” Lucifer extended his arms out taking a step towards Charlie. Expecting a hug.

“No no nooo dad this activity is to help connect with other people, you know like making new friends!” Lucifer dropped his arms in disappointment “Why don’t you try giving a hug to…” Charlie scanned across the room, nifty was in the corner chasing around bugs, knife in hand, not the best person to hug, Angel was on the couch trying to flirt with Husk who was in his usual grumpy mood, but Charlie didn’t really want her dad going near a porn star and Husk wasn’t really the friendliest person, Cherry was staring off into space looking at the painting of serpents and Baxter well Baxter was just being Baxter, then Charlie‘s eyes spotted a calm, and relax, Alastor who seem to be in a good mood this morning, I mean, still he wasn’t the best person, but this was the best option for now. Plus the two needed to learn how to get along better anyway. Why not start here? “Ah ha, Alastor!” Charlie said in triumph. Alastor came back to reality, at the sound of his name realizing the implications of what this meant. He greeted his teeth, his ears dropping, trying to maintain his composure. He walked over to Charlie, standing on the opposite side of Lucifer catching the king's gaze for only a moment, then the angel quickly looked away trying not to make eye contact, as he softly blushed, tilting his head down so that his face would be covered by his hat. Alastor smiled to himself, he found it rather entertaining how sloppy the King was around him.

For a minute, there was an awkward silence between the two, as Charlie eagerly looked at the two men, both trying to avert their gazes at Charlie’s pleading face, “Dad please I know you don’t love sinners, and you might not be the fondest of Alastor but could you not please try to help me with my activities.” Charlie crossed her arms mumbling under her breath “Or at least try to believe in me” Lucifer looked up to see a disappointed Charlie and a smug Alastor staring at him with a sharp gaze, his eyes having a soft red glow. Lucifer looked at his daughter, then at the man you despise the most. He let out a loud sigh. Giving Alastor an equally smug look back. Alastor was honestly a little confused, his smile dropping a little bit as his eyes narrowed his pupil, sharpening, almost like a cat. Lucifer placed his hand on Charlie's shoulder, looking at his daughter with a look of reassurance Charlie looked back, her face softening “I do believe in you” Lucifer softly whispered Charlie smiled placing her hand on top of her dad‘s smiling back, Alastor’s ears, perked up at the touching moment not really sure what Lucifer was doing.

Lucifer looks back at the deer demon, Alastor felt something clasp around his neck, Lucifer sending the demon a soft reminder that he couldn’t hurt him, Lucifer rolled up his sleeves and walked over to the Radio Demon extending out his arms pulling Alistair into his embrace, as Lucifer head, resting onAlastor’s chest. Alastor just stood there, his muscles tightening, fingers curling and his ears shut down. He looked a lot like a deer in headlights. Everyone had stopped what they were doing to look at the two, in shock that Alastor was actually letting Lucifer hug him. Husk tried to contain his laughter. Lucifer smiled smugly at Alastor sticking his tongue out just the slightest little bit, teasing him about his current state. This was Lucifer‘s revenge, to see the Radio Demon in such a vulnerable state, Lucifer was indeed proud of himself. And as the final cherry on top, Lucifer nuzzled his face into Alastor’s chest. Alastor was warm and fluffy; it almost felt like hugging a stuffed bear, comforting in the same way. But as Lucifer’s face pressed against Alastor’s chest, smelled something, blood. Alastor felt Lucifer‘s face press up against his wound, sending a shock down his spine, his eyes turning into radio dials, finally having enough and pushing Lucifer away. Alastor let out a loud huff, his hands curled into fist, as he tightly clutched his staff. Lucifer took a step back, worried, and confused about what he just witnessed.

“Well I think that’s enough for me today, now, if you’ll excuse me…” Alastor then slipped into the shadows, leaving everyone in the room and shocked at what just happened, as awkward silence loomed over them.
