Chapter Text

Midoriya Izuku was terrified, just a few seconds ago a sludge like Villain had grabbed ahold of him and is now trying to hijack his body 'Please, I just wanted to be a hero' was what izuku thought as his mind started to fade, but then as if time stops a bright light filled the Underpass as a voice spoke to him [You wish to become a hero? Then become my counter guardian and save humanity] the voice said causing the greenette to have his eyes widen 'I can become a hero?' Was what he thought [yes you will save billions throughout history] the voice confirmed as blue strands of light reached out towards Izuku's outstretched hand 'I want to save everyone! Please' he prayed out grasping the threads as it enveloped the boy freeing him from the Sludge villain and vanishing from the World before time restarted leaving the Villain confused until he got splattered by All might.

Elsewhere at U.A university, Nedzu had just finished watching the recording of the incident through a camera before cackling as Shouta Aizawa entered confused "Why are you laughing about a child disappearing?" He asked his non human boss who pulls up files and old newspapers each having a photo of the boy but with tanned skin and white hair dressed in a crimson shrine priest Uniform "I have been investigating a mystery about a shrine priest that appears before an assassination which lead me to Midoriya izuku who was a dead ringer for the person, at first I thought it was a coincidence until I learned about an entity called 'Alaya' who was said to take people from time and space and make them the will of humanity, unsung heroes that prevented the extinction of man" nedzu explained before replaying the scene "and I just got a recording of a counter guardian being hired" The Chimera said with joy as Shouta paled at the file about Counter Guardians before looking at the footage terrified of their efficiency.

year 1963, November 22

as izuku lowered the rifle as he heard the screaming from the crowd he blocked it out for it's a normal for him, but just as he was going to warp back to his pocket dimension time stopped as threads of blue light play upon him signaling the presence of Alaya his master [Counter guardian MIDORIYA, you have done exceedingly well with your job so I wish to offer a deal] Alaya whispered through the threads "What is this offer my master?" He asked obediently [I will send you back to your time if you accept my mission, Slaughter the one known as All For One and his followers, the best way to get to the villain is by joining U.A university] Alaya spoke out causing the Counter guardian to widen his eyes in hope before bowing "Your will is my command my master" was all izuku said as the threads pulled tight tearing him from time and space with one though 'I am coming home' before he vanished.

one month before Hero exams (4 years and ten months after izuku's disappearance)

it had been nearly five years since Izuku had dissappeared and Inko became heart broken, but as she cried in her living room an American song played out (And I heard, as it were, the noise of thunder: one of the four beasts saying: "Come and see." And I saw. And behold, a white horse.) Which Inko recognized as 'When the man comes around' by Johnny cash as a tanned figure opened the front door which she would have screamed out if she didn't freeze realizing who it was in front of her "Izuku?" She whispered out towards the young man not noticing the blue threads dissappear from his body "Hey mom it's been a while" he said in a gruff yet soft tone prompting the short woman to tackle her baby into a bear hug as she cried out in joy.

After a few hours of Inko crying passed Izuku had made her some soup and was going to explain what happened to him when a knock on the door happened prompting inko to open the door as izuku readies himself to kill the potential threat when a small white Chimera in a Suit was revealed "Greetings Midoriya-san Counter guardian-Kun" the creature said as izuku pulled out a pistol "alright how do you know about Counter Guardians?" He demanded ready to splatter the nicely dressed rat's brains all over the wall "oh I just came across it when I was investigating the Mystery of the time traveling Shrine priest of death and studied the known information" the creature said before bowing "Greetings I am Nedzu the Dean of U.A university and I wish to be your friend" the now named Nedzu said with a smile prompting Izuku to put away his pistol before looking at his mother "let's sit down so I can tell you what happened to me" he said guiding his mother and Nedzu to the living room.

After Izuku finished explained the Duty of Counter Guardians and the Will of humanity and Gaia Inko was left in another tear filled breakdown while nedzu cackled madly "is it possible for me to request a counter guardian or two to help teach hero course?" The Chimera asked but getting a tense look from the white haired Guardian giving Nedzu his Answer "Oh well but I must ask would you like a job or to join as a student at U.A?" He asked curiously getting a nod from Izuku "How about I do both? I am knowledgeable about historical Assassinations and I always wanted to go to U.A" he offered causing Nedzu to jump up and shake his hand "You sir got a deal!" He said as he began grinning like a mad man, elsewhere all of the teachers at U.A university shivered in fear sensing nedzu's excitement and they all prepared for potential mind games from the Chimera.

Chapter Text

It had been a week since Izuku had returned home and he was surprised that Alaya hadn't given him any side tasks yet, so here the white haired man sat enjoying the breakfast his mother made him as he was finishing up his highschool diploma through the computer while having to hold back saying his name in some of the history Assassination tests, but as Izuku finished up the Eggs on his plate he felt time stop as the familiar ethereal blue threads connect to him [I have a mission for you Counter Guardian MIDORIYA] Alaya whispered out as she shown the counter guardian a vision of a small girl with grey hair and red eyes and a horn on her forehead hiding in a dumpster [save this child to protect the world] was all Alaya said before vanishing again letting time resume, so as Izuku left the apartment it looked to his as if he just ran out for no reason for she was frozen in time during the conversation.

Eri was scared, she had successfully escaped Overhaul again and was terrified as she hid in this dumpster having to hold her breath each time someone walked past her, but when the lid began to open the small girl believed he time free was up again, but no rough treatment came as a Tanned man with white hair looked upon her "come with me if you want to live" the man said gently as he reached his hand towards her which eri takes feeling joy for the very first time in a long time.

Just as Izuku began exiting the Alleyway with Eri a man wearing a plague doctor mask and white raincoat stepped out with a revolver "You better give that girl to us" the man demanded as Iuku just stood there with his cold Emerald eyes piercing through the man "There's a man going 'round Taking names" The white haired man said taking a step forwards as the man's revolver exploded in his hand "He decides who to free and who to blame" Izuku continued his chant as he pulled out a golden chalice and- When Izuku exited the Alleyway multiple red stains were left on the walls as he wrote down the names 'Hari Kurono, Toya Setsuno, and soramitsu Tabe' in the list of souls he has snuffed out as Eri slept in his arms Healed and healthy again.

When Eri awoke in an unfamiliar room she at first got scared, but when she realized that it was unfamiliar she calmed down knowing Overhaul doesn't have her, so here is the grey haired girl crawling out of the cozy bed to reveal that she was wearing an all white shrine priestess uniform, Eri was about to sneak out when the Tanned man who saved her entered the room which made the little girl happy "Good morning Young one I hope the Uniform fits you well" he said kindly before revealing a plate of breakfast for Eri "now let's sit and eat before your breakfast goes cold" he said with a smile, when Eri began eating she noticed the man was looking at her with a smile "U-um what's your name?" She asked in a whisper before biting into a delicious pancake which made her squeal prompting the man to laugh "my name is Midoriya Izuku child what is yours?" Izuku said through laughter "my name is E-Eri, thank you for the meal Midoriya-Ojiisan" the girl said causing Izuku to blush "Hey I am not a grandpa, atleast I don't think so!" Izuku protested before going into a thinking pose and muttering.

When Inko entered the Guest room she was extremely confused at what she saw, Izuku was on the bed talking as a grey haired girl wore a tweed jacket that therapists wore as she sat there confused "-And that's why I don't know if I am a grandpa or not" Izuku said finishing whatever he was talking about before noticing his mother was in the room "oh hey mom, this is eri she will be my ward from now on" the white haired Counter guardian said rising from the bed and heading out, as izuku left the room Eri was about to follow when Inko decided to lay on the bed "You know it's hard being a mother to a counter guardian-" inko began causing Eri to freeze and sigh in defeat as Inko begins unpacking her problems.

The next day as Izuku was teaching Eri he decided to teach her math, but as they both were distracted Inko heard the door knock and opened it only to reveal a man wearing a plague doctor mask and wore a green coat, the split second inko had opened the door the man shot his hand out to kill her, but his hand never reaches her as a Red boot slams into the man's face as izuku knocked the masked man over the railing down to the ground, but before the man reached the ground he landed onto a flagpole impaling him causing blood to pool down to the concrete.

When Naomasa was sent by Nedzu to clear up the police at Mustafu Apartments he was expecting a normal old accidentally murder case but not this! As Naomasa is currently standing in the court yard of the apartment complex he watched as Midoriya Izuku without his Shrine priest Uniform on as he soaked it in the man's blood as he talked to a young girl wearing a shrine priestess uniform "-and that is how we show the weight we carry by wearing the blood of those we kill" Izuku explained to the girl who nodded along as izuku wringed out the extra blood from his uniform before putting it on causing some on lookers to go green and Naomasa to sigh "Alright you are Nedzu's friend right? That explains why Nedzu said you smell of blood" The detective said as he walked up to the two prompting the young girl to hide behind izuku's back "you are correct, I am Midoriya Izuku and I can guess you are here to get my statement?" Said the white haired Assassin getting a nod from Naomasa "Yes all I need is to know what happened" was all the truth detector user said as Izuku wiped off his hands "simple the man tried attacking my mother I kicked him away and he accidentally fell off the railing" the counter guardian said which Naomasa wrote down and marked as truth "Alright the clean up crew will clean this up make sure to head inside it seems to be raining soon" Naomasa said as he felt drops of water fall on his shoulders "Oh no that's not rain, my mother got startled and cried a river, she has calmed down" Izuku said before standing up and carrying eri upstairs leaving the Detective to do his job.

Nedzu's Office

Nedzu was enjoying a nice cup of Tea in his office when he suddenly had an odd feeling which prompted him to look outside which made him freeze, there hanging in the air was a bird mid flight, as the marsupial questioned what was going on ethereal blue threads filled his office before a golden chalice appeared on his desk [Let's play a game Nedzu] Alaya whispered out "Oh? What is this game called?" Nedzu asked loving games [It's called the Holy Grail War] Alaya said before leaving Nedzu to peer at the golden chalice in thought and Excitement.
