Remnants of a mid-leveler from Maliwan sits on his shirt. He’s impressed at how shrill Rhys’ voice is getting, ‘cause Maliwan’s no threat, but if they valued their little good faith mission, just maybe, they shouldn’t have had someone poking around the backend of R&D.
He relaxes in his chair, lets Rhys prattle on about useless things like Hyperion’s new image, and you can’t just kill people, Jack! which, yeah, he can—he’s Handsome friggen Jack.
Whatever.
Let Rhysie vent.
He’ll just occupy himself with that little scrunch on Rhys’ nose that he... doesn’t hate all that much.
