Kanade used to love christmas, the white snow falling making the temperature cold, the pretty lights that filled the house and the christmas tree and the presents underneath, seeing the happy smiles of her parents as they celebrate another year
Kanade especially loved the hot chocolate milk that her parents made her when it got especially cold, she remembers the warmth she felt when holding the cup and the warmth of her parents touch
She remembers playing outside, remembers watching the fireworks with her parents as they light up in the sky, celebrating a new beggining
Now Kanade doesn't find it that all interesting, for her its just another day just filled with extra noise
She went to her kitchen and heat up some water, once its done, she brings it to her room and open a pack of cup noodles
Sensing the 3 minutes are up, she went and got her chopstick as she eats the cup noodles to warm herself up
The seasons are getting too cold for Kanade's comfort, though she prefers this over the summer heat
She then hears a few fireworks going off signaling that it was already 12:00am. A notification then filled the silent room

Kanade felt herself smiling a bit, she doesn't enjoy christmas as much as she used to but she's happy that others still find the fun in it. she then went up to her computer as she types her message

She also got a notification from her phone, it was Minori and the others from the spojoy park

Kanade doesn't trust herself with typing on her phone and so she just sent a dog stamp wearing christmas prop saying merry christmas
She then heard her door opening.. ah it was Mafuyu
"Kanade.. Merry Christmas" Mafuyu spoke, her monotone voice filling the room
Kanade smiled "Merry Christmas Mafuyu"
Mafuyu ran away from home, staying with Kanade from the meantime, Mafuyu seemed a little better after she came home from their school trip so Kanade was glad
"There is still an hour before 25:00, wanna have tea in the meantime?" Kanade asked, to which Mafuyu nods
They walked towards the kitchen as Kanade prepares tea
"Sorry... I dont really celebrate christmas so this is all I have to offer..." Kanade suddenly said as she hands Mafuyu her tea
Mafuyu stops for a moment, the cup touching her lips before drinking it
"Its okay.... I prefer it this way" Mafuyu's lips curved upwards, a smile that reaches her eyes, Kanade eyes soften in return as she smiles back
After that, they found a note from Honami, a few recipes to cook for christmas, both of them haven't really eaten yet and so they decided to make dinner together even if its already late
Though Mafuyu ended up doing the most work

Mizuki loves christmas, shopping with her sister is fun and celebrating it with her family was fun as well, and having to buy gifts and opening gifts was so much fun
But there was a time Mizuki hated christmas, all the noise from the fireworks and the kids were too much, and the cold was way to unbearable to handle, she cant even go shopping as the malls were too packed to be able to do so properly, she just didn't see the point in celebrating a day
But now, she enjoys it again, Mizuki had gotten shopping earlier that day, she went and bought gift for the other members, she knows they haven't planned anything at all but she wanted to show her appreciation for them
She wanted to thank them for everything, Kanade for finding her, Mafuyu for giving her the courage to finally tell her secret, Ena for wating, and all of them for accepting who she is
The shopping mall was full of people so Mizuki struggled a bit but she eventually got what she wanted at the end of it all, She hummed as she walks home, sometimes sneezing due to the cold
Mizuki then heard a few kids laughing as music started playing, the lights are starting to light up as the moon starts to rise up, snow started to fall as well
It was a beautiful scenery as Mizuki walks
Once she reaches her house, she got her keys and twist the doorknob, taking in the warmth of her home
Her mother greeted her and she greeted back, once that settled she went upstairs to wrap her gifts
"Hum~ hum~! I hope they like my gifts" After that, she went and got a shower before dressing up in a christmas themed casual clothes, she puts on light makeup before sitting down on her bed
There was still some time to spare and so she helped her parents finish decorating the christmas tree and also helped with the food, it took longer than she expected but there was still 5 minutes left before christmas and so she went upstairs
Mizuki watched as the clock hits 12:00 and so she greets nightcord and the rest of her friends before getting a call from her sister

Ena was alone in the house, her parents celebrating with some relatives, Ena then heard the sound of the fireworks going off and the cheering of the Kids outside as the clock hits 12:00, Akito will apparently celebrate christmas with his group
She went shopping earlier that day for the christmas sale, she wanted to go with Mizuki but she was busy with something and so she went alone, it was packed and full of people so Ena was tired, it was worth it though as she got what she wanted by the end of it
She greeted nightcord, Airi and some of her friends as well before turning off her phone and just layed on the bed
Ena likes christmas, she gets some gifts from her mother and sometimes from Akito as well, though this year the siblings didn't give each other anything, she also get clothes for a much cheaper price and also limited edition accessories
She thought about nightcord and how grateful she was that she met them, she regrets not buying gifts but she'll buy them next time for new years
Thinking about the Christmas season made Ena have the urge to draw and so she got her sketchbook and started to draw
It wasn't much, it was just nightcord together, having fun and smiling, she hopes that one day they'll get to heal and celebrate christmas together but for now, she'll save this drawing
The clock then hits 25:00

For Mafuyu, christmas always felt cold. Sure the snow and the wind was cold but Mafuyu was never really bothered by it
During christmas, her family usually visits some relatives and usually Mafuyu gets praised for her achievments, the gifts she gets were always for practical, stuff like books and pens and stuff that are used for school, Mafuyu also gets money but she just saves them up
It was always so cold.
But having tea and making dinner with Kanade feels so warm, it wasn't much, there was no christmas decoration other than the mini chritmas tree Honami bought, there was no lights or any fancy foods nor a celebrations but.. Mafuyu likes it

Mafuyu and Kanade finished making food, they made enough to share for the vocaloids and for Ena and Mizuki if they also wanted some
They then saw the clock hitting 25:00

["Everyone are you there?"] Mizuki said in a jolly tune, her mood seemed to be brighter than usual

["Im here"]

["Im here, hello Amia, Enanan"] Kanade said, her voice quieter than usual

[Hello K~! Hm? Where's Yuki?"]

["Yuki is in Sekai, she'd like us to meet there"]
Mizuki and Ena nodded before going into Sekai

Mafuyu heard the rest of them going in before looking at the direction of where the noise was
"Ehhh Yuki? Whats with all this food?" Mizuki asked, her eyes widening a bit
"Me and Kanade made some for everyone." Mafuyu said, her voice sounding just a tiny bit softer than usual
"Well Yuki ended up doing most of the work..." Kanade said, forming a smile that usually shows when she's embarresed
"Oh you even plates! How considerate of you Yuki~" Mizuki said with her usual teasing tone yet her eyes seemed to soften
"What are you all doing here?" A robotic voice said, it was Rin and behind her was Luka
"Oh? Is this food perhaps for us?" Luka asked, with her teasing look to which Mafuyu nods
"Ah- everyone hello." This time it was Miku that spoke followed by Len who was next to Miku
Once they got over the initial greetings, They then each got some plates as they began to eat, tho it wasn't without a few noise here and there
"Mizuki! Stop putting carrots in my plate!" Ena complained as she tries to put the carrots back to Mizuki's plate to which Mizuki dodge
"Ehh but I thought you love carrots~! Besides I heard carrots are good for the eyes" Mizuki teased, her little smirk forming on her lips
"You know full well I hate them and I dont care! Now get your plate back here!" Ena said as she glares at Mizuki, Kanade then had a quiet laugh as Mafuyu continues to eat
Its warm..
Miku then glanced at Mafuyu and had a soft smile
"Mafuyu" Mafuyu heard her name get called and so she looks at Miku
"You seemed to be having fun" Miku pointed out
"I guess I am..." Mafuyu said queitly as she watched Mizuki and Ena fall into another banter and Kanade softly smiling at the both of them
Then Mizuki seemed to be hit by a moment of realization as she said she'd be right back before leaving the sekai, when she came back, she was holding a bunch of board games and what seemed like gifts
"I bought games! I know it isn't the games that are usually played in christmas but I thought it would be fun!" Mizuki happily announced
They then played a bunch of games like chess
"Checkmate." Mafuyu said which made Ena frustrated
"How are you so good at this!?" Ena said
"Ah- I think thats checkmate..." Kanade said as she looks at Mizuki with an akward smile
"Eh!? I was so close as well! Your shockingly good at this Kanade" Mizuki praised which made Kanade blush in embarresment
The rest of the vocaloids, then do their own thing
~
"Hey Kaito~" Luka said, her eyes glimmed with mischief as she approaches Kaito
"What do you want?" Kaito said, his eyes filled with anger and annoyance
"Mizuki bought some games for us to play so I wanted to try them out-" Luka wasn't done speaking when Kaito cut her off
"If your asking me to play with you then no. Ask someone else" He then walks away

"Meiko." Miku said as she approaches
"What?" Meiko said, her voice cold and distant as always
"Mizuki bought us some games to play and Mafuyu and the others seemed to be having fun so I wanted to try it as well but everyone seemed to be busy so I wanted to ask you if you wanted to play." Miku explained, her expression slightly changing into a sad one to which Meiko noticed
"Fine. Just one game"

The girls were sitting on the blanket that layed on the ground, just talking when Ena suddenly mentioned something
"Oh Mizuki, whats with those gifts?" Ena asked, to which Mizuki's eyes shine with excitement
"Ah right!" Mizuki got her gifts and gave one to each of them
"You can open them now btw!" Mizuki excitedly announced to which they nodded
Ena opened hers first
"Wait- this is the really expensive limited edition cheescake christmas edition from that really fancy cafe!! I heard they only make like 15 of these so how did you get one!?" Ena said, her eyes widening as she looks at Mizuki like she's a magician
"He he he! Turns out, the owner of the cafe is a friend of my sister! So i got a reservation and also a discount!" Mizuki said smugly, as Ena looks at Mizuki with excitment
Kanade opened hers next, Kanade froze as she realized what it was..
"This.. how?" Kanade asked as she looks at Mizuki with a glad yet expression, yet Mizuki catch the slight sadness in her eyes, Mizuki's eyes soften in return
"I saw that while looking for a CD... an old man hand it to me for free" Mizuki said, her smile softening
"What is that?" Ena asked, her voice softening for Kanade
"Its.. its my father's song back when he was still... this was his last released before I was born.. I heard it involved a duet with my mother as well..." Kanade spoke softly, her voice barely being a whishper
"Ah.."
Mafuyu then opened hers
It was 4 plushies, it was not what she expected.. Mafuyu usually gets practical things for christmas but receiving those makes Mafuyu cold..
She holds the purple bunny, its fur soft to the touch.. it was impractical yet Mafuyu felt so warm receiving it
"I got inspired by the storybook that came out of that lake, and its also a reminder that if anything happens.. niigo will always be right by yourside" Mizuki spoke softly
"I see.. Thank you Mizuki" Mafuyu said, a small smile forming in her lips as her eyes seemed to shine just a little more, the others smile in return
Mafuyu felt warm.. she wants things to stay like this just a little longer
For her Christmas has always been so cold but for this year.. it felt so warm
