Chapter 1: Chapter 1
Chapter Text
Falling.
That's all Selene remembered when she entered the culling game, specifically Tokyo One colony with Megumi and Yuji, and that's what is currently happening to her now.
She was falling.
And she had no way of stopping. Fear and dread had filled her. She wanted to scream, but no sound had come out. Her eyes looked around, scanning her surroundings, trying to find some way or something to use to stop herself, but there was nothing around except for trees? As she plummeted from the sky, the realization hit her that she seemed to be somewhere else. Somewhere that wasn't Tokyo.
She didn't understand. Entering the colony and appearing in another location clearly outside Tokyo wasn't mentioned by Tengen. She hadn't assumed that would happen. 'Curse Kenjaku,' She thought, panicking. Needing to do something as she was getting closer to the ground by the seconds, Selene tried screaming again.
This time, it seemed to work.
An ear-piercing, earth-shattering scream emitted from Selene's throat, catching the attention of anyone nearby. Luckily for her, four people who were walking back from a successful mission seemed to have heard her.
"What was that?" The pink short-haired girl named Sakura Haruno suddenly asked, alert and slightly frightened.
"A scream for help," The spiky black-haired boy, Sasuke Uchiha, replied, looking around, eyes narrowed.
"Then we have to help," The golden blonde-haired boy, Naruto Uzumaki, declared, ready to go and help.
"Split up and see if you can find the person who screamed," Their spiky, silver-haired sensei, Kakashi Hatake, instructed. At once they moved at inhuman speed and went to search for the source of the scream.
Selene continued to descend from the sky, panicking, and she felt her heart drop as she inched closer and closer to the ground. She had screamed, and nobody had heard her, or at least she thought, unbeknownst to her, help was closer than it looked.
The realization had sunk in that she was really going to die, that nobody was coming to help her. Tears brimmed in her eyes as she thought about her life. She hadn't even helped to bring back her precious sensei, Gojo Satoru, who had been sealed by the curse user named Kenjaku. She had let her friends down by dying early, unable to assist them like back in Shibuya. Her friends, her crush, wouldn't even know that she was dead.
In less than a minute, she would be dead, lying splat on the ground with all of her brain matter out, a gruesome sight to behold. She would die in an unknown place, her corpse eaten by wild animals. The thought of dying scared her. Even though she was a jujutsu sorcerer and faced the risk of death every day, she didn't want to die, not when she had so much to do. Bracing for impact as she saw the ground getting closer and closer, she shut her eyes, hoping her death would be quick.
'Goodbye, Selene, the failed almost special grade sorcerer, the world hardly knew you,' She thought to herself.
Suddenly and unexpectedly, something or someone had leaped into the air and caught her before leaping on the ground with ease. Eyes fluttering open and blinking rapidly, her blurry vision, which stung because of the mixture of sweat and tears in her eyes, tried its best to adjust to see whoever had caught her. All she had seen was the inky black spiky hair, and she thought it was her crush who had caught her, the love of her life.
"Megumi?…" Was all Selene asked, confused, unable to see clearly.
"Who?" Sasuke Uchiha had asked, eyebrows furrowing in confusion as the girl in his arms had passed out.

Chapter Text
Selene's lavender eyes fluttered open. She heard beeping from the side of the table, and she looked over at the source of the beeping, which was a monitor. She was in a hospital. Something or someone had caught her, and she was alive. A wave of relief washed over her.
Selene moved her body to be in a sitting-up position. She looked around the room. It was an ordinary hospital room. She tried to move her arm, but she felt something attached to it. She looked and saw the IV Drip. Of course, she should've expected that, but she felt she didn't need it, so she carefully removed it.
The monitor beeped in response, but she didn't care. All she cared about was finding Yuji and Megumi and gathering the points needed to save Tsumiki Fushiguro, gather allies, and find the Angel to free Gojo from the prison realm.
Just as she was about to leave, the door opened, revealing four people. One was blonde with blue eyes and wore what Selene recognized to be a ninja outfit with a short-sleeved white haori. She recognized him as Minato Namikaze, which confused her, as it would be impossible for him to exist since he was an anime character, right?
Her lavender eyes scanned the next person. Long blonde hair tied into two low ponytails, brown eyes with a diamond-shaped mark on her forehead, green haori, and a kimono-styled shirt with dark pants and heels. It was easy to tell who this was: Tsunade.
The next person also wore a ninja outfit, a mask on half of his face, a shinobi headband, and spiky silver hair. He obviously had to be Kakashi Hatake.
And finally, a man with ash blonde hair tied into a low ponytail, piercing blue eyes, wearing a trenchcoat, and underneath it, ninja attire. If her memory was correct, he was Inoichi Yamanaka, Ino's father.
"You're fucking joking, right?" Selene pursed her lips, looking at the four people in disbelief. "What is this, some kind of anime convention?"
All four people simply looked at her like she was crazy. She figured that they were just cosplayers who were fans of Naruto. It would be impossible for anime characters to actually exist.
"Yeah, I'm not in the mood for cosplay right now. I've got to go and find my friends," She explained dryly, moving to push past them. She was stopped by the guy wearing the Kakashi cosplay, who had moved to stop her. His visible dark grey eye looked down at her.
"Whoa! You're not going anywhere," The woman wearing the Tsunade cosplay stated firmly. "Not on my watch."
"Uh, yeah, I am," She snapped at the woman, who made an annoyed sound but didn't make any move to attack her, even though she wanted to for that comment, and then Selene turned her attention to Kakashi. "Move, or I'll make you move."
"I'd like to see you try," Kakashi said, staring down at her. He had to admit that she was quite beautiful.
Selene's lavender eyes began to glow, and Kakashi's dark grey eye darkened. He was getting ready to attack if needed—that was until the man wearing the Minato attire held out his hand.
"Don't attack," Minato ordered, and Kakashi didn't move, but his eye were still focused on Selene. Minato then turned to look at Selene.
"We don't mean you any harm. You're safe here. I'm Minato Namikaze, the fourth Hokage of Kohonagakure," The blonde-haired man calmly introduced himself. "One of our ninjas found you falling from the sky and brought you here."
"Kohonagakure? You mean Kohona? Like from the anime Naruto? Also, you're Minato? Naruto's father?" Selena was baffled. She looked at each person in utter confusion.
Minato blinked at the mention of his son's name. He was wondering how she knew it. He also wondered what she meant by anime. Exactly what was that?
"How do you know my son's name?" Minato asked her, now a bit wary of the girl. All of the others were now the same. Kakashi's eye narrowed at Selene.
Selene tilted her head and snorted," How could I not? I've watched the anime and read the manga. The anime was a lot to get through. So many fillers, ugh."
Everyone looked at her like she had grown three heads.
"Also, what do you mean by son? You don't actually think you're Minato Namikaze, do you?" Selene crossed her arms in front of her chest and twisted her pouty lips. Her arms slowly dropped once she saw the expression on their faces.
"Now, don't tell me you've never seen Naruto? How are you going to cosplay characters from an anime and you've never seen it? That's ridiculous," She said, rolling her eyes at them.
"Sir, if what I'm thinking is correct, she might be from another reality," Inoichi stated grimly. "She needs to be interrogated."
"Interrogated? Oh no! I know who leads the interrogation team in Naruto, and I'm not about to be interrogated by Ibiki!" She exclaimed, backing up into the hospital room. "And what do you mean by another reality? This reality isn't real!"
She was now panicking. What did he mean by she was from another reality? This reality couldn't be real. Naruto didn't exist. It was just a manga and anime series. Something in her gut told her to go and look out the window. She then quickly walked over towards the window and looked out, and her heart sank. In the distance, she saw the mountain with the Hokage's heads carved into it. She counted each one of them. There were four in total and not five like in the anime. Tsunade's head should've been there. She was the current Hokage, not Minato.
What was going on?
"Sir, I need to search her mind," Inoichi said, and Minato nodded. The four stepped into the room, causing Selene to back up, her back hitting the window. She had nowhere to run.
"Search my mind? You can't even do that. The character you're cosplaying can, but you're just an ordinary person!" She nearly screamed. Selene was starting to become scared of these people. At first, she thought they were just regular human, cosplayers. But they were actually talking about doing jutsus from Naruto, which didn't even exist, or at least she thought it didn't. At this point, she couldn't tell what was or wasn't real.
"Make sure no one enters or exits the room besides us. In fact, I'm going to create a sound barrier to seal off the room," Minato instructed, and Selene stared at them like they were crazy.
"Sound barrier? Seal the room? What?!" Selene was at a loss for words. She watched as Minato did hand signs, and a translucent sheen appeared before disappearing.
She couldn't believe what she had just seen. That should've been impossible. Literally impossible. A wave of fear and dread had washed over her. This couldn't possibly be real. None of this was real. It had to be a fake.
"Calm down. Nobody here is going to hurt you," Minato said calmly. "We need to search your mind to see if you're telling the truth."
"But I am telling the truth! You all don't exist where I'm from. It's all just a story," She stressed, hyperventilating. "Like, for example, Naruto and Sasuke have a huge fight because Sasuke wants to go to Orochimaru to get stronger to fight his brother, Itachi, who murdered the entire Uchiha clan! A-and Tsunade is the fifth Hokage 'cause the third Hokage died early after Orochimaru and the Sand attacked Konoha. Also, earlier, you and Kushina died during the Nine-Tails attack!"
The silence that followed was deafening. You could hear a pin drop.
Chapter 3: Chapter 3
Summary:
Selene gets her mind probed and interrogated.
Notes:
Aye!
I'm back at it again with another chapter! Hope you all enjoy this one!
Chapter Text
Selene merely stared at everyone in the room like they were crazy. Everyone else did the same to her. They were baffled at what she had just said. They thought what she said couldn't be true, but at the same time, they believed her. She couldn't be lying since she said it like the gospel truth.
"Let's all calm down here," Minato said rather calmly. "Take a breath. Starting off, what is your name?"
"It's Selene," She answered, breathing heavily.
"Alright, Selene-chan. Calm down," She didn't like it when he called her that. Only Gojo and her friends were allowed to call her that.
"If what you say is true, then tell us all about it along with your backstory," Minato spoke gently.
"E-everything?" Selene uttered out, staring at him, breathing normally now.
"Yes. You're obviously from another reality, different from this one. We would like to hear all about it," Minato told her.
"Is he still going to probe my mind?" She motioned towards Inoichi.
Minato nodded and replied," It's for precautionary measures."
Selene internally debated whether to let them. All she wanted to do was to find her friends and stop the culling game from that psycho Kenjaku. But instead, she got stuck here in this obviously weird reality. She couldn't believe that the world of Naruto was real here in this reality. She figured that she just had to accept this for now, at least until she figures out a way back into the real world.
Well, her world.
"Fine, but no funny business, got it?" She agreed, pointing a threatening finger at Inoichi. The man merely blinked at her but nodded.
୧‿̩͙ ˖︵ ꕀ⠀ ♱⠀ ꕀ ︵˖ ‿̩͙୨
Selene was so tired from the earlier conversation that she had accidentally fallen asleep while her mind was being probed. They had to shake her awake. Groggy and half-lidded, Selene blinked up at everyone.
"Sorry," She yawned. "I'm a bit sleepy."
"It's alright," Minato said, offering a small smile.
Inoichi then turned to Minato and said," She's telling the truth. Though her life confuses me."
"What do you mean?" Tsunade spoke up, a hand on her hip, a puzzled expression on her features.
"Her life, I don't understand it," He shook his head nd he then turned to Selene and said," You fight these strange creatures, but it appears that you go to school where you learn how to fight them. I don't understand. What are you?"
Selene sighed and said," I'm a jujutsu sorcerer."
"A what?" Kakshi asked, confused.
"I am a jujutsu sorcerer," She repeated. "Jujutsu sorcerers are people who can use jujutsu sorcery. We are to defend humanity from cursed spirits by exorcising them."
She then looked at Inoichi and said," Those creatures you saw are called cursed spirits. They plague humanity. Cursed spirits are born from negative emotions, and trust me, if you know humans, there is so much negativity that they emit. Cursed spirits can look both inhuman and human. I bet you've seen the one that looks human but actually isn't."
"So, basically, you're a magician?" Kakashi drawled.
"Ha ha, very funny. But the answer is no. Magicians use wands, and we don't use that," She sneered at Kakashi.
"Also, by the way, you have a lot of cursed spirits roaming around this village, if you didn't know," She added, looking at Minato with a sheepish expression.
"I also saw you, along with many others, batting a human male with stitches across his forehead," Inoichi spoke, looking at Selene. "Was he a cursed spirit too?"
"No, he's a cursed user called Kenjaku. He's a curse user from the heian era. Curse users are sorcerers who use their sorcery for evil," She explained, and he nodded.
"Did you see how she landed here?" Minato turned to Inoichi.
Before Inoichi could respond, Selene interjected and bluntly said," I was entering into the culling game, and somehow, after I entered, all I remember was falling."
"What about the man with the tattoos? The one you watched kill those girls?"
Selene paused for a moment.
"Those two girls are curse users as well, from what I was told. I should've intervened and protected them since all they wanted was their dad's body, which is currently being used by Kenjaku, back," Selene spoke quietly, looking down at her boots.
Clearing his throat, Minato spoke gently," We all have regrets, Selene-chan, but continuously lingering on it won't change the past."
Selene nodded, pursed her lips.
Minato turned to look at Inoichi and inquired," Is there any more information that's useful to us?"
"Aside from what she already told us, no," Inoichi said simply.
Minato nodded and announced," She's obviously not a threat, but I will assign guards to protect her."
Inoichi nodded. Kakashi looked the same. Tsunade still had her hand on her hip.
"I'm sorry, I don't mean to interject, though I do mean to. Who exactly is guarding me?" She questioned, tilting her head.
Selene felt her heart thumping in her chest as she awaited the answer from Minato.
"Does it matter?" Kakashi looked at her, bored.
"Uh, yes. I want hot people guarding me," She stated, like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
Everyone just looked at her.
Chapter 4: Chapter 4
Summary:
Hot people are assigned to guard Selene, and she later goes on a coffee date with Kakashi.

Chapter Text
Selene got exactly what she wanted.
Hot people had been assigned to guard her.
Itachi Uchiha.
Sasuke Uchiha.
Kakashi Hatake.
She couldn't ask for anything more.
Giggling to herself again, Itachi looked at her, wondering what was so amusing. His long hair was tied into a low ponytail, while center-parted bangs framed his face. His eyes were black as ink, making him look mysterious. He had the tear troughs underneath his eyes. Upon glancing at him, Selene couldn't help but notice how handsome he was. Her eyes then traveled to his brother, Sasuke, who was just as handsome with his spiky black hair and dark eyes. He gave emo, skater-boy vibes. She then looked at Kakashi, who gave off mysterious vibes with his mask, hiding his Sharingan that Obito gave him, and his nonchalant, relaxed, bored personality.
Feeling her face flush, Selene buried her face in her hands, making unusual noises, muttering," They're all so hot. I've got to have them all."
Kakashi stared at her in annoyance.
Sasuke looked at her like she was crazy.
Itachi just blinked, not knowing what to do or say.
୧‿̩͙ ˖︵ ꕀ⠀ ♱⠀ ꕀ ︵˖ ‿̩͙୨
Selene sat by Kakashi in the cafe, sipping on her cappuccino, which she had ordered a little too sweet. Itachi had Anbu duties while Sasuke went to train, leaving her alone with Kakashi.
"This is nice, huh?" She smiled at Kakashi.
"I guess," He responded monotonously.
"Okay, so you're stuck with me. Get over it," Selene exasperated. "Let's make the most of this, okay?"
Kakashi sighed. Selene took this for a yes.
"Since I already know most things about you, tell me something I wouldn't know about you," Selene suggested.
"Uh, let's see," Selene was shocked that he was actually pondering the question. "I like Icha Icha: Innocence."
"Um, alright," Selene managed to say after a minute.
"Your turn," Kakashi stated, more like demanded.
"Well, besides what you already know about me and my profession, I could tell you anything about me," Selene said.
"Go ahead then," He offered.
"Um, let's see…did you know I have a pending decision on whether or not I'm special grade material?" Selene bragged, wiggling her eyebrows.
"Special grade?" Kakashi blinked.
"Yeah, special grade means you're ultra, ultra, ultra strong like Kage level," Selene explained in terms easier for him to understand. She didn't feel like explaining how the higher-ups determined sorcerers' grade level.
"I see," Kakashi was taken aback by the information revealed to him since Selene didn't appear to be that strong. He didn't know the full extent of her abilities. He had to admit her looks were deceiving.
"I bet you didn't know that, huh?" She puffed out her chest, feeling prideful.
"No. No, I didn't. That's the point, remember?" Kakashi pointed out, and she deflated.
"Oh, right," She pouted.
For some reason, seeing her sad made him a bit upset inside. So, he wanted to make her happy again.
"Tell me something else about you?" Kakashi questioned, and she lit up like a child on Christmas.
"Uh, let's see…I'm a Pisces. I love ramen, especially spicy miso ramen!" Selene beamed.
A loud, shocking gasp came from the entrance way of the cafe. Both of them turned their heads to see Naruto and Sasuke standing there. She would recognize them anywhere; they were polar opposites like the sun and the moon.
"I thought you were supposed to be training," Kakashi said, raising a brow, looking at Naruto and Sasuke.
"We were until this idiot decided he wanted coffee instead of training," Sasuke answered, glaring at Naruto.
"I can't believe I found my soulmate," Naruto declared, jaw still dropped, looking at Selene.
"Idiot," Sasuke tsked, folding his arms in front of his chest. "She's not your soulmate. All she said is that she loves ramen."
"I never found someone who loves ramen as much as I do!" Naruto beamed, ignoring Sasuke.
Selene smiled at Naruto and replied," I'm totally your soulmate."
Naruto beamed even more if it was possible. Kakashi simply sighed, and Sasuke looked at her like she was crazy.
Chapter 5: Chapter 5

Selene and Sasuke spar together. They play a game, and later, Selene and Itachi take a walk and run into someone unexpected.

Chapter Text
Today, Selene decided to train. She decided to battle Sasuke, which wasn't going so well for him. He thought that battling Selene would be rather easy since she didn't appear to be a strong opponent.
He was so wrong.
Somehow, she managed to keep up with his inhuman speed. Not only that, she seemed to be incredibly, inhumanly fast, which was thanks to Gojo Satoru and Maki Zenin, who had trained her.
She dodged one of his attacks, blocking one with her staff and landing one on his head, saying," Bonk! I hit you! You lose!"
Sasuke scowled at her, stopping. She yawned, stretching her body.
"Now, what do we do?" She pondered as she stopped to think.
"Hey!" She said, turning to him. "I know! Let's play a game!"
"No," He responded, blankly staring at her. He reminded her so much of Megumi.
"Why not?!" She pouted, stomping her feet like a child.
"Because I don't want to."
"But you should cause' my games are really fun."
He stared at her like she was crazy.
"Oh, come on!" Selene whined. "Play at least one round!"
"Fine," He agreed. If it would get her to stop whining, then he would do it. Plus, a small part of him wanted to know what game she was trying to play.
"Yay!" She clapped her hands, jumping up and down, causing her breasts to jiggle. She had no clothes on the upper part of her body, which was wrapped with bandages. According to her, it made training easier. A flush crossed over Sasuke's face as he turned his face away to glance at something else.
"Okay, so we're playing truth or dare," Selene revealed to him with a devious smile.
"Really?" Sasuke looked at her in disbelief.
"Really," She confirmed, wiggling her full eyebrows. "Okay. I'll start. Truth or Dare?"
"Truth," Sasuke declared.
"Ugh, really?"
Sasuke glared at her, causing her to roll her eyes in response.
"Okay," She pondered for a moment, thinking of what to ask, then a thought popped into her mind. "Who do you likelike?"
Another flush crossed over Sasuke's face. He didn't know why he was getting embarrassed. The question shouldn't have been making him feel this way. He didn't know who he liked. His mind wandered to all of the people he had a close relationship with. The closest that came to mind, besides Naruto, was Sakura. Their relationship was close. They were a bit closer together than he was with Naruto. That's because they spent a lot of time together. He found Sakura attractive because she was a pretty girl with emerald-green eyes and bubblegum-pink hair.
But for some reason, his mind traveled towards Selene. Even though it had been a couple of weeks since she had been here, he had grown closer to her, too. Selene was chaotic and brazen—the opposite of Sakura, who was kind and outgoing. However, her personality appealed to him more than Sakura's. From what he's seen, Selene was courageous, kind (when she wanted to be), friendly (somewhat), and more. He then thought about her beauty. Selene's brown skin was soft and smooth, glistening in the sun from whatever products she applied, her hazel eyes with specks of gold drew you in, and her pouty lips were kissable. Her body was also curvaceous, which made Sasuke a bit hard just by thinking about it.
"I-I don't like anyone," He declared after a moment, and Selene tilted her head, eyes narrowing, and thinking really hard.
"You're lying," She declared, after a minute of silence. Sasuke mentally cursed himself. Was his lie not believable?
"I'm not," He lied again, defending himself.
"Mhm, sure," She waved her hand dismissively.
"I'm going to go back to the hospital now to take a shower," She announced, walking out of the Uchiha training grounds.
"Wait!" He called after her. "What about the game?"
"I'm tired of playing!" She called back.
"We barely even played!" Sasuke scowled.
୧‿̩͙ ˖︵ ꕀ⠀ ♱⠀ ꕀ ︵˖ ‿̩͙୨
Selene sang lowly to herself as she and Itachi wandered through the forest outside of Kohona. They weren't going too far, but far enough that they took a little walk. It was her request to do so as she got bored exploring Kohona.
"Skinny-dipping with your heart out, it's my favorite part now. We ain't got to tell no one. A never-ending midnight sunnnnnnnnnnnn," She sang rather loudly, causing Itachi to look at her like she was crazy.
Though he had a bit of surprise in his expression as she actually could sing, but it was the wrong place for singing loudly.
"Let's not sing so loudly here," Itachi cautioned rather gently, having stopped walking.
"Why? Scared we'll get attacked?"
"I would prefer not to get attacked, if possible."
"Don't worry if we get attacked, I'll handle them," She puffed out her chest. "I'm that strong."
"And I believe you. Though I prefer not to draw attention to us," He informed her, and she sighed.
They continued walking in silence before Selene broke it again.
"You know, I'm sorry that you heard that I said that you slaughtered your clan where I come from," Selene apologized.
Itachi blinked and replied," It's fine."
"I mean, it's not fine. To hear someone say that you did that is rather, uh, terrifying, I guess," She confessed. "I know it happened where I come from, but it didn't here."
"But as I said before, it's fine. That's the truth that happened in the timeline where you come from, and that's all you know, but I wouldn't do anything like that here. So stop apologizing," Itachi explained, offering a small smile at the end.
Selene nodded, and they continued their walk in peace. On their way back, they thought their walk was going to remain peaceful, but something happened.
A stranger had walked out from behind a tree, blocking their path. Itachi immediately moved in front of Selene to shield her from any attacks, holding up a kunai. Selene tilted her head as she looked at the strange man who appeared before them.
Squinting her eyes, she stared at the strange man, trying to get a better look at him. The stranger who stepped out of the shadows had a familiar face. She couldn't believe that he was actually here.
"Megumi?" She asked incredulously, causing Itachi to glance at her in slight confusion out of his peripheral vision.
"Selene?!"
Chapter 6: Chapter 6
Summary:
Selene and Megumi meet the rest of Naruto's friends after Megumi is somewhat interrogated.
Notes:
Hey! Things are heating up in this chapter ahhh! I love writing mc x everyone! Who do you want to see Selene interact with more? I would love to know!
Chapter Text
Selene stared at Megumi.
Megumi stared at Selene.
Itachi stared at Megumi.
Megumi stared at Itachi.
"Well, this is a bit awkward, isn't it?" Selene broke the silence, attempting to joke. She took in Megumi's appearance. He seemed to look fine with his fluffy, spikey black hair, blue eyes, and pale skin. His jujutsu uniform had small tears in it, probably due to fighting. Other than that, he appeared to be fine.
Selene stepped from behind Itachi and gently pushed Itachi's arm down, so he wouldn't attack Megumi.
"Itachi, Megumi," She introduced the two to each other. "Megumi, Itachi."
"Wait," Megumi spoke, bewilderment on his face. "Itachi? Like from Naruto?"
Selene nodded, confirming his observation, and said," Yup, we landed in the world of Naruto."
"Huh?"
୧‿̩͙ ˖︵ ꕀ⠀ ♱⠀ ꕀ ︵˖ ‿̩͙୨
Megumi was brought to Minato's office, where Selene's bodyguards were, along with the Hokage's advisors. He sat beside Selene, who lay on the couch halfway, and put her legs over Megumi's. Megumi shot a look of annoyance at Selene, who just ignored him and closed her eyes, almost going to sleep.
"Selene-chan, you know this young man?" Minato asked her.
"Yup, he's a fellow jujutsu sorcerer," She confirmed. "I'm his senpai."
"Idiot, we're the same age," Megumi scowled.
"Yeah, yeah," Selene lifted her arm and waved her hand dismissively. It was true. She was the same age as Megumi.
"Do you mind if we search your mind, Megumi-kun?" Minato then turned to Megumi, who nodded.
"It's fine," Megumi complied.
Inoichi moved to read his mind. The process took around ten minutes.
"He is, who he says he is. He's no threat," Inoichi confirmed, looking at Minato once he was done, and Minato nodded.
"Well, it's settled then. Welcome to Koho—" Minato started, but was rudely interrupted by someone bursting through the door. The familiar blonde hair belonging to a certain boy with whiskers on his face came into the room along with Sasuke and Sakura trailing behind him.
"Idiot!" Sasuke scowled. "You're not supposed to come into the room!"
"I want to see Selene-chan's friend!" Naruto retorted, looking at Sasuke with an annoyed look. The blonde boy then looked around the room, wanting to see Megumi. His crystal blue eyes landed on Selene, who was lying half on the couch and half on Megumi.
"Eh?!" Naruto stated, flabbergasted, peering at Megumi, his eyes squinting as he did so. "He kinda looks like Sasuke!"
"Huh?" Sakura blinked owlishly, glancing at Megumi, then back at Sasuke. "He kinda does!"
Both Sasuke and Megumi just held a blank expression on their face. The two teens glanced over at each other, boring into each other's eyes for a moment. Then an annoyed expression appeared on their faces.
"Tsk," Sasuke said, rather annoyed, breaking eye contact. "He looks nothing like me."
"I wholeheartedly agree," Megumi muttered. Selene just blinked at the interaction. She thought they would like each other since they had somewhat similar personalities.
So much for being friends…
୧‿̩͙ ˖︵ ꕀ⠀ ♱⠀ ꕀ ︵˖ ‿̩͙୨
Megumi walked alongside Selene as they walked with Sasuke, Sakura, and Naruto to the Korean barbecue restaurant. The rest of Naruto's, Sasuke's, and Sakura's classmates/friends were waiting there for them. They had wanted to meet the two new people in the village.
"This is nice, huh? All of us are hanging out," Selene beamed, while Sasuke and Megumi just scowled. 'What's up with them and scowling? Jeez, smile for once in a while,' she thought to herself.
"Yeah, we made a new friend today," Naruto chimed in, agreeing with Selene and sharing her excitement.
"Yeah, Sasuke-kun!" Sakura gave a small smile.
"Tsk, whatever," Sasuke grumbled.
"Turn that frown upside down," Selene reached over and poked his cheek, causing him to shoot her an annoyed look.
"You too, Megumi-chan," Selene turned her attention towards her crush. Megumi just sighed in response.
"Such a buzzkill," She mumbled, and Megumi shot her a look, having heard her.
They entered the restaurant and made their way to the large table towards the back of the restaurant. Immediately, Selene and Megumi recognized the teens sitting at the table. They held small smiles as they took in Selene and Megumi.
"So, these are the two that come from another dimension, right?" Kiba spoke, grinning. "Also, the girl is very pretty."
Selene didn't find Kiba attractive, so she ignored that last comment.
"I agree, she's very pretty," Sai smiled at Selene, who flushed. Choji nodded in agreement.
"The boy looks like Sasuke-kun. He's so handsome," Ino swooned, taking in Megumi's handsome appearance. Megumi's cheeks tinged pink at the comment. Selene couldn't help but agree.
Selene and Megumi sat down in the chairs that were available. Selene was sitting next to Sasuke with Sakura beside him. Megumi sat next to Selene and Ino. Everyone started eating the food that was cooking or was brought to the table, and engaged in a fun yet relaxed conversation.
"You know what would make this gathering more fun? If Nobara and Yuji were here," Selene whispered to Megumi, who couldn't help but agree.
"Who's Nobara and Yuji?" Shikamaru asked, overhearing Selene.
"Nobara's the coolest girl to ever exist. Yuji is the human version of a cinnamon roll," Selene explained, and he nodded.
"Oh, and the second years too! Panda especially!" Selene added.
"Your friend is named 'Panda'?" Sasuke asked incredulously. "Who names their kid that?"
"Well, because Panda is actually a Panda, duh," Selene explained, sticking her tongue out at Sasuke, who shot her a glare.
"Your classmate is a Panda?" Hinata asked, confused.
"Yup! He can talk, too," Selene happily revealed.
"That's so cool!" Lee beamed.
"I know, right? I was totally freaked out the first time I saw him, and then he talked," Selene laughed. "I know you were, too, Megumi."
"Yeah, I was a bit freaked out," Megumi admitted, and she smiled at him, internally glad that he was loosening up. He blushed in response. He liked Selene. He had for a long time. She made him feel all fuzzy inside. She was what he thought was a good person.
Not even a good person, but a fantastic person.
Whenever he saw Selene, his heart beat rapidly. He was so nervous around her, and he tried not to let it show, which he was terrible at. He wondered if she knew that he liked her, but based on her actions around him, probably not.
"Right, Megumi-chan?"
Megumi blinked as he snapped out of his thoughts. Selene was glancing at him with a happy expression.
"What?" Megumi said, looking at her. Everyone else was in their own conversations, not paying attention to them.
"I said this is fun, right Megumi-chan?"
"Mmh," He nodded, flushing a bit, giving a small smile, which Selene returned.
This smile didn't go unnoticed by Sasuke, who glanced at Megumi and Selene out of his peripheral vision. Jealousy was bubbling up inside of him. He didn't like how she smiled at Megumi and was so friendly with him. More friendly than she was with Sasuke himself.
Frowning, he focused back on the conversation with Sakura and Naruto.

Chapter Text
Selene marched up the steps to Itachi's room after being kindly let in by his mother, Mikoto, and slammed the door open, causing Itachi to jump and stare incredulously at Selene.
"Idiot!" Megumi hissed from behind her. "You're supposed to knock before entering!"
"What? Oh, I thought I did," Selene looked at Megumi, then back at Itachi, who was staring at her like she was crazy. "Oops, sorry, Itachi-chan!"
"Let's go out today!" She beamed at Itachi, her eyes crinkling as she did so.
"Where?" Itachi blinked.
"Um…" She paused to think for a moment. Not even a moment, but it was literally five minutes.
"I don't know," She finally uttered out.
Both Megumi and Itachi just blinked.
"To be honest, I didn't think I would get this far, let alone being let into your house," She admitted, sulking a bit.
"But don't worry, I'll figure something out!" She chirped.
Itachi merely blinked.
୧‿̩͙ ˖︵ ꕀ⠀ ♱⠀ ꕀ ︵˖ ‿̩͙୨
Selene laughed loudly as she swung higher into the air, feeling free. She was currently on a swing at the playground in Kohona.
"Push me faster," She ordered to Itachi, who did as he was told.
"Yay!" Selene cried out as she swung higher in the air. She felt free being this high up in the air. At this moment, all of her worries were gone. Even though she was falling from the sky a couple of weeks ago, she liked being this high up in the air.
She wished she could fly.
Fly away from all of her problems. Not to be burdened by anything. Not to be weighed down by anything.
She closed her eyes for a moment, letting herself relax. Letting all of her worries and fears go just for a moment. In that instance, Selene just felt peace.
Well, she relaxed a little too much, loosening her grip on the metal chains of the swing, and she fell out of the swing seat.
"Selene!" She heard footsteps running towards her body that landed hard on the ground. The side of her body ached, causing her to curl up into a ball as much as her body would allow.
"Are you okay?" She didn't know who, but someone knelt down to see if she was okay, checking for any broken bones or bruises. She squinted her eyes to try to see who exactly it was that was checking up on her. She saw that it was Megumi. His figure blocked out the sun that was shining brightly.
"Not really," She muttered, coughing at the end. She then groaned, feeling pain radiating through her body. The impact must've been much harder than she presumed, since she was unable to move. Her body wouldn't let her.
"Can you move?" Itachi had asked her from behind Megumi. She didn't know when he had come over. She only heard one set of footsteps.
"No, not really," She repeated, sighing out. Well, she thought she sighed out. It was a mixture of a groan and a sigh.
"Alright," She heard him say, and he moved in front of Megumi and lifted her up, holding her in his arms.
Selene was a bit embarrassed that he did so because she didn't consider herself to be very light or skinny. She was rather thick or solid instead of being skinny. She knew she was on the curvier side. She wanted to bury her face in Itachi's shirt. Since her face was somewhat already buried in his shirt, that's exactly what she did. She turned the rest of her face and buried it into his chest, just enough so that she would still be able to breathe.
She inhaled his scent. He smelled of musk, spice, linen, and woods. He smelled good.
"We're almost there," Itachi informed Selene, who let out a strange noise because of the pain and because the shinobi smelled good.
They arrived at the hospital and were immediately shown into a room. Tsunade and Sakura had tended to Selene, who fractured her ribs, her left arm, and wrist. Selene had gotten scolded for being so reckless on the swing set.
"I just wanted to be free. Even for a moment," Selene muttered lowly, defending herself.
Everyone in the room seemed to be confused by what she said, while Megum, on the other hand, knew what she meant by that. To be free from the life of a Jujutsu Sorcerer was something he even yearned for at times. But he knew what Selene also meant. She wanted to die in order to be truly free from her problems and burdens. He knew somewhat about Selene's life from Gojo. He knew that she suffered from major depressive disorder. He knew that she also had tried to commit suicide when she was taken to the isolation chamber inside the school after being deemed a threat to humanity by the higher-ups. She obviously was unsuccessful, but ever since then, well, since he's been observing her, she has been suffering from the mental illness. No matter how hard she tried to hide it from the others at Jujutsu Tech by pretending to be happy, he knew the silent battle she was going through.
"Hey, Selene," Megumi spoke up, causing everyone to glance at her.
"Hm?" She blinked.
"Want to see my shkigami?" He inquired, already knowing the answer. Between her and Yuji, he didn't know who loved his shikigami more.
Selene's eyes lit up like a child on Christmas, nodding eagerly. She loved all his shikigami aside from Mahoraga, that is.
"Shikigami?" Naruto blinked, having now made himself known in the room. Sasuke was by his side along with Kakashi.
Megumi did the hand signal to summon his divine dog. The dog appeared after appearing as a black shadow. Everyone, aside from Selene, seemed astonished by the divine dog's physical manifestation and its large size. She immediately cooed at the divine dog, and it came over to her. She used her non-fractured arm to reach and pet the divine dog, running her fingers through the fluffy hair.
"Wow, thank you, Megumi," Selene grinned, and the teen slightly flushed at her words, but was glad she was happy.
He'd give anything to see her happy.

Chapter Text
Selene struggled to eat her ramen. With her arm hurting, it hurt to pick up the chopsticks and bring the food to her mouth. Upon seeing her struggling, Sasuke sighed and decided to help.
"Here," He took the chopsticks from her hand and brought them up to her lips. She happily opened her mouth and took the food offered to her. He kept doing this until her bowl was empty.
"Thank you," She managed to say after swallowing the noodles.
"Want the broth?" He asked her, and she nodded eagerly, and he lifted up and brought the bowl to her lips. She sipped the hot broth until there was nothing left. She smacked her pouty lips in approval.
"That was so good!" She moaned in utter delight, causing Sasuke to shift in his seat at the noise and stare at her in disbelief. "I want another one!"
"You want another one?! You ate five bowls!" Sasuke exclaimed.
"I can eat more!" Naruto chimed in.
"I'm not talking to you, idiot!"
"Wha?!"
Selene giggled in response and admitted," Alright, I'm done eating! Wait—no, I'm not!"
"Good grief. Make up your mind," Megumi muttered.
"You say something, Megumi?" She shot him an angered look.
"Nothing," He quickly said, and Selene nodded, pleased by his new response.
"Anyway, what are we going to do today?" She whined boredly. "I'm bored!"
"We could train," Naruto suggested blithely.
"Already did that," She waved her hand dismissively, and he pouted.
"Ooh, how about exploring the forest?" Selene suggested, and Megumi shook his head, not wanting to do anything.
"Uh, I don't know then," Selene said, exasperated. Her eyebrows were furrowed in frustration.
"Wait!" She then slammed her hand down on the table, causing everyone to jump and look at her like she was batshit crazy.
"What if we explore the forest? Then we could possibly find Itadori or someone else!" Selene suggested, eyes widened.
"Wait. That's actually not a bad idea," Megumi admitted after pondering the idea for a moment.
"See, I'm smart when I want to be," Selene boasted, puffing out her chest, smiling.
"You should choose to be smart all the time," Sasuke commented, deadpanning.
Selene shot him an annoyed expression, twisting her pouty lips.
୧‿̩͙ ˖︵ ꕀ⠀ ♱⠀ ꕀ ︵˖ ‿̩͙୨
As she walked through the forest, Selene even forgot why they were out here in the first place, but then the thought popped into her mind that they were there to find Yuji Itadori.
'Yuji-chan,' She thought to herself.
A small feeling of sadness overtook her as she realized that she had missed him. He was one of her closest friends. She missed the overly happy boy. He was one of the few reasons why she decided life was worth living and why choosing a life as a jujutsu sorcerer was worth it. A blush came across her cheeks as she pictured his face in her mind.
"Selene, have you found anything yet?" She heard Sasuke ask her, shaking her out of her thoughts.
"No, not yet," She responded, looking around for anyone or anything that possibly could be used as a clue. He nodded before walking off in a different direction, deciding to search there.
She continued walking through the forest, combing through new territory. She hummed a tune as she did so. It helped pass the time since she didn't have her headphones with her. Selene missed living in the world she and Megumi were from, since she used her headphones whenever she went on missions, even though, according to the higher-ups, she shouldn't have had them on since they blocked her hearing—it was somewhat true, but she worked better whenever she had them on.
As she continued walking, humming a tune to a modern song, she suddenly stopped seeing a dead man on the ground. His appearance was rather strange. There was a helicopter-like feature on the top of his head that was clearly broken off. Blood was pooling from underneath his body. It was fresh, meaning whoever had done this was still around.
A smile began to grow on her face. The itching feeling of actually fighting someone was finally about to be scratched. She could feel her bloodlust growing as she walked further away from the group and past the dead body, wanting to use her cursed technique against them. In the distance, she spotted someone standing there, hovering over someone.
"Hey, it's your lucky day," She called out to the stranger blissfully. "I'm going to be—"
She paused as the person turned around, wide-eyed, staring at her. Selene tilted her head as the person spoke.
"Selene-senpai?"
She took in the person's appearance. He looked oddly familiar, but from far away she couldn't make out all of the details. As she squinted, trying to adjust her vision, she saw the familiar spiky strawberry pink hair, soft, kind eyes she was familiar with, and the recognizable markings underneath his eyes.
"Y-yuji-kun?"

Chapter Text
"Selene-chan, you're here!" Yuji exclaimed happily, running over towards her and hugging her. She gladly returned the hug, smiling as she did so. She broke away from him after a few minutes of hugging, glancing up and down his figure. His clothes were ruined and tattered.
"Your clothes are ruined," She placed a hand on her hip, jutting in annoyance.
"Yeah," Yuji rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. "It got ruined in the fight between those two."
He pointed towards the body a couple of feet behind Selene and the other body in front of them. The other body, aside from the helicopter man, was a woman with metal wings sticking out of her back.
"Who are they?" Selene inquired, not recognizing either one of them.
"Random sorcerers from a previous era that were aligned with Kenjaku's plans," Yuji answered truthfully, sighing.
"Well, shit," She blinked in response, and Yuji nodded in agreement.
"We should catch up with the others," Selene then said, suddenly wanting to be away from here. Surprisingly, she didn't like the sight of dead bodies, especially after ending a fight with anyone.
"The others?"
"Yeah, Naruto, Sasuke, and Megumi."
"Oh oka—" Yuji paused, a look of confusion on his face. "Wait. Did you just say Naruto and Sasuke like from Naruto?"
"Yeah," She nodded, then a look of realization was on her face. She had forgotten to tell him about the world they were in.
"Okay," She started, raising a hand and placing it on his forearm to relax him. "This news is going to be like batshit insane, but just believe what I say, okay?"
Yuji appeared to be confused; nonetheless, he nodded, agreeing.
"We're in the world of Naruto," She revealed calmly to him, watching his reaction.
"Oh oka—wait what?" Yuji blinked owlishly, then he glanced down at her.
"Yeah, we're really inside the world of Naruto, look," She explained rather dryly, pointing towards the Hokage mountain in the distance. Yuji appeared to be even more lost than he already was.
"When I found out that we were, I totally freaked out," She laughed, and Yuji merely blinked at her.
୧‿̩͙ ˖︵ ꕀ⠀ ♱⠀ ꕀ ︵˖ ‿̩͙୨
Once she and Yuji reunited with Naruto, Sasuke, and Megumi, they set off back towards the village. They chatted about random things and the questions that Yuji had about this world, but mostly random things—mainly, Selene and Yuji did.
"Oh, that reminds me. Where is Sukuna?" Selene inquired curiously, walking with her hands behind her back.
"Inside of me. Where else would he be?" Yuji answered, turning his head to glance at her.
She shrugged. Just then, another eye and mouth popped up underneath Yuji's eyes, its crimson eye staring at her.
"What about me, woman?" Sukuna demanded with his usual angry expression—either that or his nonchalant demeanor—as well as his bored demeanor.
"Nothing, just checking to see if you were alive," She puckered out her lips in response. "Good to see that you still exist, Sukuna-channnnn."
"Tsk," Was all Sukuna responded, and she stuck out her tongue at him, causing him to glance at her in utter annoyance.
Naruto and Sasuke appeared to be flabbergasted at the whole exchange.
"A-an eye and mouth appeared on his cheek! And the mouth…TALKED!” Naruto gasped in disbelief. "W-what is that?"
"That was Sukuna-chan," She smiled at Naruto, then she turned back to Sukuna, who was still out, his crimson eye looking around, probably wondering if what Selene said earlier about them existing in the world of Naruto, and poked near Sukuna's eye, causing him to growl in response.
"Sukuna-chan, meet Naruto and Sasuke. Sasuke and Naruto meet Sukuna-chan," She introduced them, waving her between the three of them. "We're most likely going to be here for a while, so until we figure out how to leave, get to know each other!"
Naruto and Sasuke just blinked in response to her introduction.
"But what exactly is he?" Sasuke asked slowly, caution in his tone.
"Oh," Selene chirped before explaining. "He's an ancient sorcerer, who was a real person by the way, that turned himself into a cursed object by splitting his soul into his twenty fingers and Yuji-chan here—" She motioned to Yuji, who lifted up his hand and waved," ate one of his fingers, well, a lot of them, and Sukuna-chan incarnated into him."
"By the way, Sukuna-chan and Yuji-chan share a body," She added.
"Oh, okay," Naruto said. Then a wave of confusion appeared on his features, just like it did on Yuji's earlier. "Wait, twenty fingers?! That's impossible for a human to have!"
"Well, Sukuna-chan here had two faces, four arms, a mouth stomach, and most likely two coc—She paused at the end, giggling and blushing at the mere thought of it. Everyone looked at her like she was crazy.
She was indeed crazy.
Very crazy.

I had a blast writing this chapter!

Chapter Text
Selene and Yuji were like two peas in a pod. They were on the same side of the spectrum. It took this long for Megumi to finally realize that. He watched as they chased each other around, squealing and hollering like little children. Megumi's divine dog merely blinked, its sharp eyes watching Yuji and Selene. Megumi had summoned the dog based on Selene's request. She laughed as the divine dog licked her cheeks, recognizing her. The divine dog had grown to love her since whenever Megumi summoned the divine dog, she was always there to give it pets or kisses.
Selene stopped running and beckoned the divine dog over, who obeyed and trotted towards her. She held out a ball for the divine dog to go and fetch. She made the ball appear to be appealing by waving it up in the air, catching the divine dog's attention before throwing it past Kakashi, causing the dog to bounce after it. After getting the ball, the divine dog trotted over to Selene, dropping it at her feet.
"Good boy," She cooed at the divine dog, petting its head. In return, the divine dog nuzzled its head against Selene's hand. "So adorable."
"Megumi," Selene suddenly said, causing the spikey-haired boy to glance at her. His dark blue eyes held a quizzical look in them.
"Your divine dog is mine, now," Selene shot him a mischievous smile, which turned into a wide grin, showing off her pearly white teeth.
Megumi couldn't help but smile in response. He was glad to see her happy, which made him happy in return. He couldn't help it, but a longing look was in his eyes whenever he saw Selene happy, which did not go unnoticed by Kakashi, who slightly frowned behind his mask. He recognized the emotion in Megumi's eyes and didn't like it one bit. Various emotions bubbled up inside of him, two of them being jealousy and another was anger. Even though he'd known Selene for a short time, he felt strangely possessive over her and was starting to like her. He didn't plan on liking her like that. It was something supernatural that occurred. He knew that Megumi also liked Selene in the same way that he did.
Kakashi sighed, feeling drained by these overwhelming emotions. He re-focused his attention back on Selene as she ran, and the divine dog chased after her, quickly on her heel. She zig-zagged, trying to throw the divine dog off its game, but it didn't work. The divine dog leapt and pounced on Selene, knocking her to the ground before licking her face. Selene squealed in happiness.
The sight made a ghost of a smile appear on Kakashi's face. He liked it when she was happy. He couldn't help but smile. Her happiness was infectious. It just made anyone happy.
୧‿̩͙ ˖︵ ꕀ⠀ ♱⠀ ꕀ ︵˖ ‿̩͙୨
Selene.
Selene.
Selene.
Her own name was on repeat in her mind. She didn't know why, but she felt as if she had forgotten to do something. A light bulb went off in her head. She suddenly remembered what she had to do.
With Itachi trailing behind her, Selene entered the restaurant and marched over towards Yuji, who was sitting with Naruto, laughing about something, and she stopped by Yuji, standing beside him. Yuji blinked in surprise, grinning as he saw Selene.
"Selene-chan, what's up?" Yuji blissfully beamed at her like the cinnamon roll that he was. Naruto did the same as the cinnamon roll that he was too.
"Sukuna," She stated seriously, and Yuji blinked owlishly, clearing confused. Naruto turned his head back and forth, looking between Selene and Yuji, like watching a sports match, clearly intrigued by what was going on.
"What about him?" Yuji inquired, still perplexed, tilting his head like a confused puppy.
"I haven't heard from him all day!" Selene whined, kicking her feet like a child throwing a tantrum.
"Okay?…" Yuji was at a loss for words. Selene noticed this and sighed.
Selene then pouted, puffing out her cheeks, and mumbled," We usually have a conversation every day, but today he hasn't spoken a word to me!"
"Then speak to him?" Yuji suggested. He didn't like the idea of Selene talking to Sukuna, knowing how the old curse user was. She didn't understand what he was like. Selene was rather pure and innocent in Yuji's eyes, which made him attracted to her, and resulting in him feeling overly protective of Selene. Selene then poked Yuji's cheek repeatedly, muttering," Kuna-chan" over and over again until he finally came out. An eye popped out on Yuji's cheek along with a mouth.
"What?" Sukuna demanded darkly, feeling annoyed that he had to come out.
"I wanna talk to you, Sukuna-chan," Selene beamed at him, bending down to be at the same eye level as Sukuna's eye.
"Leave me alone," He retorted to the young woman.
"But we haven't had our daily conversation yet!"
"I don't care."
"I know that you do!"
It was slightly true. Sukuna did like talking to Selene. He had grown a small soft spot for the girl, which was unlike him. He didn't even realize that he had done this. Sukuna had started to develop feelings for Selene. He usually saw, interacted with, and talked to her every day. He had gotten used to her. It was quite strange for him to feel this way. He remembered someone similar to Selene, Yorozu, who had acted all crazy for his attention and kept shouting bullshit, talking about "she'll be the one to teach him love", but he usually ignored her and paid no attention to her at all. But Selene was different. She wasn't overly obsessed with him or declaring stupid things that Yorozu did. She seemed to like him for who he was, even though he was a horrible person, which he already knew, and he was absolutely fine with that, and she wasn't trying to change him.
"Kuna-chan, I love you. You're my bestest friend ever," Selene suddenly declared, snapping Sukuna out of his thoughts. Sukuna blinked, slightly stunned by the declaration, but he wasn't totally surprised by the declaration since he had heard Yorozu say the first line to him before and felt nothing by the statement, but with Selene, it was different. It was something about her that stirred up some emotions inside of him, which was unusual as he had never felt anything like this before.
"Stop saying such foolish things. I'll kill you," Sukuna finally seethed out, but Selene simply smiled in response, unaffected by his threat.
"I thought I was your best friend?" Yuji chimed in, pouting. Selene gave him a pat on the head.
"You are, Yuji-chan," Selene reassured with a gentle smile, rubbing and ruffling his head. "But Sukuna-chan here is my extra special friend!"
"Oh, okay," Yuji simply accepted it like it was the gospel truth.
"This whole situation is intriguing yet funny, by the way. Selene-chan, you're the best," Naruto suddenly spoke blithely, causing the attention to be focused on him. He held a small smile on his face as he looked towards him.
Selene smiled proudly at the declaration before turning her attention back towards Sukuna.
"Admit it, Sukuna-chan! You love me too!" The smile on her face turned into a teasing one. Sukuna still stared at Selene, not blinking once before suddenly retracting back inside of Yuji.
Selene pouted and exclaimed," I embarrassed him! He's so embarrassed! Especially since I declared my love for him!"
"I think he was just done with this conversation," Yuji noted, hoping to reassure her.
"To be fair, Sukuna-chan is so done with everything."

Selene is crazy.

Chapter Text
Selene loved interacting with Sukuna.
Correction.
Selene loved bothering Sukuna.
She repeatedly poked at Yuji's cheek, much to the annoyance of Megumi, and waited for the old sorcerer to come out. A mouth had formed on Yuji's cheek and tried to nip at her fingertip. Selene giggled in response, smiling as she glanced down at Sukuna, who opened a crimson eye to glare at her.
"What is it that you want, woman?" Sukuna demanded angrily, feeling annoyed that he had to come out.
"I wanted to see you!"
He growled in response.
"Don't pout," Selene closed her eyes, smiling and waving a finger. "We're going to spend so much time together."
If looks could kill, Selene would be dead by now.
"We're going to have fun today!" She informed Sukuna, who was still glaring at her. She then looked at Yuji and requested," Let him out."
"What?!" Yuji asked incredulously. His eyes were wide in disbelief, along with Megumi's. Sukuna blankly stared at Selene, wondering what she was plotting.
"Do it," She repeated rather calmly.
"Selene-Chan, that's not a very good idea!" Yuji protested, bewildered.
"Trust me, let him out!" She chirped.
She then looked at Sukuna, a mocking smile appearing on her face. "You scared of coming out, Sukuna-chan? Afraid I'm going to beat you into submission?"
Sukuna growled out," As if you could."
"I don't believe this is wise, Selene," Itachi murmured, making Selene remember that he was even here. He was observing this whole situation.
"Relax," She waved a hand dismissively, knowing that being in a restaurant isn't the perfect place to provoke Sukuna into coming out wasn't the best idea, but she was already too far into her plan now to stop. "I know what I'm doing."
Selene returned her focus to Sukuna and said," You claim to be the King of Curses, but in reality you're such a scaredy cat."
And that's what broke the straw on the camel's back.
"Enchain."
A wild grin stretched across Selene's features.
୧‿̩͙ ˖︵ ꕀ⠀ ♱⠀ ꕀ ︵˖ ‿̩͙୨
Selene was batshit insane.
Megumi just realized that.
His eyes widened as he felt the King of Curses' cursed energy, and an overwhelming sense of fear fell upon him. He noticed that Itachi's eyes widened along with Kakashi's and Sasuke's. He noticed that everyone in the restaurant had frozen up in fear as they felt Sukuna's aura and cursed energy. Megumi also knew that the ANBU and other skilled ninjas felt the disastrous aura as well and would be here any second, including Naruto and the Hokage.
Selene had never been face-to-face with Sukuna before. She didn't know what he was capable of. Megumi also knew that Selene should've been afraid like everyone else, but she seemed to be growing happier by the minute. Megumi debated on summoning Mahoraga, but Selene and the others would get hurt in the process, as Mahoraga would attack anyone on site. For once in his life, he didn't know what to do. All he could do was helplessly watch the scene unfold right in front of him.
"Selene—" Megumi began to say, but the words died upon his tongue.
"I got this, Megumi," Selene said dismissively, her attention focused on the King of Curses glaring down at her with a death glare.
Megumi knew that look wasn't good. He had to do something.
"What were you saying, little girl?" Sukuna glowered at Selene, who merely smiled in response.
Nobody moved as they watched the scene unfolding in front of them. Megumi saw out of his peripheral that Naruto and his father had arrived with some of the most formidable ninja in the village, but nobody had done anything, wanting to know how to play the right cards without risking any casualties.
"You heard me, Sukuna," She said, her voice mocking. "You're nothing more than a scaredy cat."
Rage flashed over Sukuna's features; his crimson eyes seemed to grow darker at the comment. But before anyone, including Sukuna, did anything:
She did the unexpected.
She moved towards Sukuna before he could even blink, hand placed on the back of his head, pulled him down towards her, and gave him a long kiss on the lips.
Megumi, Kakashi, Sasuke, Itachi, and the others all watched Selene in utter disbelief. Yet strangely, feelings of jealousy and possessiveness bubbled up inside each of the four men. They all thought the same thing: 'How dare she kiss another man?'
Megumi didn't know what the hell Selene's plan was, but he definitely didn't expect this. He watched as the kiss deepened as Sukuna's hands snaked around her thick waist. He seemed to be pulling her closer despite being stunned by the intimate act. The kiss lasted around five minutes. Well, Megumi thought so. He had lost track of time due to his adrenaline.
Everyone watched as she pulled away, breathless, glancing up at the King of Curses, who actually seemed slightly stunned. Nobody had ever kissed him before. Yorozu had tried to, but had never succeeded.
"I'm just kidding, you crazy old man," She puckered her lips before grinning wildly.
Sukuna blinked at her before scowling.
"You have a death wish, woman," Sukuna growled out before he switched back with Yuji. Yuji blinked, not knowing what had happened.
"What's going on?" Yuji asked in confusion, looking around to see that everyone's eyes were on him.
"Well," Selene started, causing everyone to look at her, including Yuji. "I may or may not have kissed Sukuna!"
"WHAT?!"
Chapter 12: Chapter 12
Summary:
Selene needs help.
Chapter Text
After the Sukuna incident in the restaurant, both Yuji and Selene were placed under close supervision. Selene was sulking and pouting while getting lectured, more like scolded sternly, by Minato for such reckless behavior, even though she argued that she was almost a special grade sorcerer (the equivalent to Hokage level) for a reason and that she could handle him before he did anything.
Though a good thing did come out of this whole situation, if Sukuna did come out, Selene was required to handle him by any means necessary, which she did beam at, unsettling others in the room.
Selene marched down the hallway towards the Hokage's office to meet her new bodyguard with Megumi, Yuji, Sasuke, Naruto, and Sakura in tow.
"I hope it's not Kiba that's guarding me," She muttered gravely.
"Kiba doesn't even have the required skills to guard anyone, especially you," Sasuke stated blankly after hearing her comment.
"Sasuke-kun, that's mean," Sakura replied, knowing that it was actually true.
"Then who is it?" Selene paused walking and sharply turned around to glance at Sasuke with narrowed eyes.
"You'll find out soon enough, Selene-chan," chirped Naruto as he smiled at her. "I think you'll really like him."
"Humph," Was all she said before turning around and marching towards the Hokage's office.
When she opened the door, it revealed Minato sitting at his desk with Shikaku Nara at his side, along with Kakashi standing there and a slightly familiar face. Her eyes widened in shock as she recognized the man.
It was Obito Uchiha. He wore the typical jonin outfit, but he wore a mask similar to Kakashi's to hide the side of his face that was messed up from the boulder that fell onto his face.
"Huh?" Selene inclined her head forward to gape at Obito in disbelief before pointing at him and saying," You're supposed to be dead."
"So, this is the girl that mysteriously fell from the sky and said I betrayed the village, right?" He looked at Kakashi for confirmation, who gave a single nod.
"Yup, and by the way, she's fucking insane," Kakashi stated bluntly with a monotone voice.
"I am," Selene echoed in confirmation, causing Obito to look at her. "Just a little warning for ya."
Obito blinked at Selene in disbelief. He looked at Minato, who nodded in agreement. Obito didn't think that she was that hard to guard. She didn't look like a lot to deal with.
Selene knew exactly what he was thinking, and she had to refrain from grinning mischievously.
"Well, I'll leave you to it, Obito. You already know what you're supposed to do," Minato told Obito, who nodded.
"I won't let you down, sensei," Obito affirmed with determination.
Selene simply smiled in response.

Obito realized that Kakashi was indeed right.
This girl was fucking insane.
He watched as she paced back and forth, singing a song that he didn't recognize while looking down at a cat.
"He pins you down on the carpet and makes paintings with his tongue," She sang, and Obito had to admit that her singing voice wasn't half bad.
Naruto, Megumi, Sasuke, Yuji, and Kakashi glanced at her with mixed expressions.
"Ugh," She suddenly said, plopping down beside the cat, her legs criss-cross style. The cat took it as an invitation to come and lie down in her lap. She stroked the cat's fur, resulting in it purring in response. She tilted her head back and glanced up at the sky, watching the white fluffy clouds pass by. "I don't want to be alive anymore."
The last comment took everyone by surprise, catching them off-guard as they did not expect her to say that. Though Megumi wasn't surprised, as he already knew she was dealing with a severe case of depression.
"Have you taken your medication, Selene-chan?" Megumi inquired, knowing why she was feeling this way.
"Nope," She said, popping the p. It was true. She hadn't taken her medication in weeks, but to be fair, where was she going to get it? She was stuck in this world.
"What medication?" Kakashi inquired, a flicker of confusion and interest on his features.
"She has a severe case of depression and takes medication for it," Megumi quietly revealed.
Everyone went silent as they stared at Selene, who stared up at the sky, staring off into space.
"I didn't say you could tell anyone, Megumi," She commented, still in a trance. "But it's fine that everyone now knows."
Megumi felt guilty, but felt like everyone needed to know so Selene could get the help that she needed, since Shoko wasn't here to administer the medication that Selene usually took.
"So, what do we do?" Naruto inquired, genuinely concerned for Selene.
"Well, we should see if Sakura or Tsunade can administer medication for Selene," Sasuke answered. "But first, she should see one of the therapists that they have at the hospital."
"Alrighty then," Yuji chirped, feeling bad for Selene. He was putting on a brave face for her since he was concerned and didn't want to upset her in any way or form. He walked towards Selene and crouched down beside her and said," Let's go see the therapist, okay, Selene-chan?"
She didn't respond, making the soft smile that Yuji held falter a bit.
"If you come willingly, I'll let you talk to Sukuna for a couple of hours," Yuji cajoled, but Selene didn't respond or move. She only kept petting the cat.
"I'll buy you ramen," Naruto offered, knowing that Selene loved ramen, but the young woman didn't budge.
"What do we do now?" Naruto then asked, genuinely concerned. He had never dealt with anything like this before, but it ached him, along with the others, to see Selene like this. They were used to seeing her so lively, happy, and chaotic. Even Obito was surprised to see her like this, even though he had only known her for a very short time. But based on what Kakashi told him about her, he didn't expect this.
"Well, we obviously have to get her to the therapist's office cause she clearly needs her medication, and even though I don't want to, we'll have to haul her," Sasuke informed her.
He moved towards Selene and picked her up with ease, carrying her bridal style, causing the cat to jump off her lap and look up at them.
"Mr. Whiskers, come here," Selene suddenly called out to the cat, who looked at her. "Someone get the cat, or I'm not going."
Sighing, Megumi moved to get the cat, who allowed him to pick him up. He held the cat in his arms and began walking with the others falling in tow.
The seven of them headed back into the village to seek treatment for Selene.
Notes:
Hey!
So I wanted to highlight the mental health issues that Selene has since she’s a jujutsu sorcerer. I wanted to highlight the mental health issues that jujutsu sorcerers go through since it’s a very very tough field as we all know if you’ve read the JJK manga or seen the anime.
I really love writing Selene. I based her off of myself a bit so I can really relate to what she is going through. I hope some of you can relate to her and the things she’s going through.
