Work Text:

It took Mack a while to find his footing.

Hell, it even took a couple days for them to actually go out. Four, in fact. Four days, two sleepovers, a visit to Mack’s dorm, and countless kisses.

And an impressive number of orgasms.

Will had taken it with ease, which Mack was very thankful for. He’d asked for some patience, and Will delivered.

Now, Mack was standing at the foot of his bed, trying to figure out what to wear. And despite what Connor said, he was not freaking out. He was just a little nervous.

The fact that the entirety of his closet was laying on his bed was beside the point.

“Dude, it’s dinner.” Connor moaned, for about the hundredth time that night. “You need a Xanax.”

Mack wasn’t really joking when he snorted, “Yeah, you got one?”

“It’ll be fine.” Connor sighed. “He already likes you, remember?”

“He won’t after this. All my shirts suck, and he’s gonna laugh at me, and then I’ll never get laid again.” He pouted, throwing himself on top of his bed. He caught whiff of Will’s cologne, surely from one of the hoodies he’d snatched out of his closet.

He reached for it blindly, fingers finding the worn fabric of the hoodie quickly. Uncaring of what Connor would think of it, he brought it up to his face and inhaled deeply.

Mack pretended not to hear the mutter of, “Down bad.”

It felt like no time had passed when Will knocked on his door, and he could only shoot Connor a look of pure panic before he had to open it.

“It’s fucking freezing outside, I can’t–“ Will stared. He looked Mack up and down. “Oh, you look nice.”

Mack did not blush.

“It took 45 minutes for him to figure out what to wear.” Connor supplied, grinning widely.

Will looked at him carefully, “You nervous?”

“No.” Mack lied. “A little, maybe.”

“It’s dinner, Mack. Not a marriage proposal.” Will laughed, reaching up to run his fingers through Mack’s hair. “You look nice.”

Mack shifted on his feet, “Thanks.”

It had been an offhand comment, but Mack remembered Will saying he looked good with his hair pushed back, once. So, his hair was pushed back.

Will was still eyeing him carefully, “We can go back to mine first? There’s no rush.”

“Can we?” Mack breathed, shoulders slumping.

“Yeah. Let me mess up your hair a little.” Will grinned, offering his hand to Mack.

He ignored Connor’s whiny, “Ew.” L

“Yes, please.” He sighed. “I need to turn my brain off for a bit.”

Will hummed, squeezing Mack’s hand, “I can do that.”

“I don’t actually want to mess your hair up.” Will panted, while Mack mouthed at his neck. “It really does look nice.”

“Won’t be the last time I get ready for you, it’s okay.” Mack mumbled, muffled against Will’s skin.

He was planted in Mack’s lap, squirming a little as Mack sucked a bruise into his skin. They weren’t really getting anywhere, all clothes still on, which Mack found himself very okay with. Kissing Will was a fucking treat.

Will grabbed him by the jaw, “I like the sound of that.”

He tilted Mack’s head to the side, and kissed him deeply enough that he forgot all about his nerves.

He was almost completely hard by the time Will declared they were done, getting out of his lap and flopping back against the pillows. He pulled his phone out, scrolling on TikTok with the volume on what had to be the highest setting.

Mack blinked at him, “Are we not going?”

“Not like that.” Will grinned, nodding towards the tent in Mack’s pants.

“Fuck off, this is literally your fault.” He whined, flopping down next to Will, squirming his way under his arm.

“You were five seconds away from a panic attack, what was I supposed to do? Besides, it worked. Now you’re all soft.” Will murmured, tugging Mack closer and pressing a kiss to his temple.

He grumbled, but he knew Will was right. He was trying to be better about communicating, so he reluctantly mumbled, “Thanks.”

Will hummed, and pressed a kiss to the top of his head. Turns out, Will’s algorithm was feeding him clips of either people falling, baking, or random sports clips that made Mack wonder just how much he didn’t know about him yet.

“Have you chilled out yet?” He mumbled, after going down a rabbit hole of hair braiding videos. “I kinda have a plan to follow.”

Mack tensed, “What?”

Will laughed, burying his nose in Mack’s hair, “I’m fucking with you. We’re going to Olive Garden for bottomless pasta.”

“Oh thank God, that wasn’t funny.” He breathed.

“I’m sorry.” He kissed his hair. “You’re so easy to mess with.”

Mack pouted, “Keep doing it and I’ll leave you here and go to dinner myself.”

It eased Mack’s mind that he could make jokes like that, because both he and Will knew there was zero truth in it.

“You gonna walk?” He giggled.

“I might.” Mack sat up, glaring at him.

Will grinned back at him, sprawled on top of the sheets, “Mhm, over the highway? In the rain?”

His hoodie had bunched up by his waist, and Mack was momentarily distracted by his abs.

“Later.” Will whispered, winking at him obnoxiously.

Mack groaned, just as obnoxious, “You’re so mean to me. Can I at least have a hoodie? It’s cold.”

“Don’t think I don’t know you’ve got my grey one in your closet.” He shook his head, pressing a kiss to Mack’s cheek as he got up. “Do you want the beige one, or the navy one?”

Will had worn the navy one yesterday, while he plowed into Mack from behind, hard enough to make him forget all about the shitty day he’d had.

He sighed dreamily, “Navy, please.”

“Figured.”

Mack hadn’t actually been in Will's car before. To no surprise, it was clean as fuck. He didn’t have one of those air freshening things, which was a relief. Those always made him nauseous.

“You do know how to drive, right?” He mumbled, as Will pulled out of the parking lot. “It’s all scratched up.”

“I’ve only crashed it once, and that wasn’t even my fault. The pole came out of nowhere.” Will huffed, blinking left out of the school grounds.

“That’s not very comforting.” Mack mumbled. “Did you have to pay to fix it? This is a nice car.”

Will looked a bit sheepish, “My dad paid for it, so I can’t take any credit.”

“I forget you’re like, rich.” He snorted, stilling as Will placed his hand on his thigh. Like he was a girl. His cheeks went hot, but he didn’t think twice about placing his own hand on top.

He sighed, like he’d heard this many times before, “I’m not rich. My dad has this business thing, so he got me it for my birthday.”

“My dad thinks I’m a danger on the road.” Mack shrugged, watching Will’s hair fall into his face as he laughed.

“I believe him.” He laughed. “I can teach you, if you want?”

Mack straightened up, “Wait, actually?”

His heartbeat picked up, and he felt a little dumb getting excited over the prospect of Will showing him how to drive.

Will looked over at him, “Yeah. Of course.”

“I’d–“ Mack swallowed. “I’d love that.”

“I know a way you can repay me.” He smirked, and Mack’s mouth went dry.

He nodded slowly, already imagining all kinds of things, "Anything you want.”

Will’s cocky grin made him squirm, “Yeah. I know.”

His hand suddenly felt very close to Mack’s cock, and it took everything in him not to shift his hips and nudge Will’s hand closer.

“Are we there soon?” He breathed, voice a bit quiet.

“You know we are, Mack.” Will teased, squeezing his thigh.

Mack squirmed some more, “Mhm. Y’know, it’s pretty dark out.”

“Fantastic observation, buddy.”

Idiot

He groaned quietly, “Would you–?”

“I’ll blow you in the parking lot, yes.” Will hummed, tone way too casual.

He moaned, throwing his head back, “You’re a fucking dream, Smith.”

“Yeah, yeah. If someone calls the cops on us I’ll tell them you forced me.” Will rolled his eyes, but his grip on Mack’s thigh tightened.

“No, you won’t.” Mack smiled, all sweet. “‘Cause you like me.”

Will bit back a grin, his dimple visible even in the low light, “God knows why.”

Mack stared at him for another moment, just appreciating the view, and when he looked back at the road, Will had pulled into the parking lot behind the restaurant. Mack made a sound, “Why are you parking back here? We’re literally gonna get murdered.”

Will looked at him weirdly, letting out a choked off little laugh before replying, “Did you want me to blow you in the parking lot out front?”

“Oh. You’re actually gonna do it?” Mack breathed, his eyes going very big.

He was already half hard from Will’s teasing, but the realization had him hardening up in record time.

“Well, yeah?” He titled his head. “I said I would.”

Mack groaned, hiding behind his hands, “I thought you were joking. Oh my God, I’m gonna bust so fast.”

“That’s okay.” Will giggled, reaching for his belt. “I don’t mind.”

“Oh my God.” Mack repeated, already out of breath. “You’re fucking unreal, fuck, I’m never letting you go.”

Will grinned, “Good.”

Mack was already panting when he lifted his hips, allowing Will to pull his pants down to his thighs. He was suddenly very grateful for the invention of seat warmers, or he would be freezing his ass off, literally.

His cock stood straight up, all flushed, and Will hummed happily at the sight. He wrapped his fingers around it, squeezing lightly. Mack let out a shaky breath, “Do you have any tissues?”

Will’s grin was sharp enough to make goosebumps break out across Mack’s skin, “Why would we need any tissues?”

“I–“ Mack’s breath caught, as Will started stroking him. “I’m gonna mess up your car.”

“Nah, you won’t.” He laughed, promptly wrapping his lips around the head of his cock.

Ah.” Mack gasped, his fingers tangling into Will’s hair. “Will, careful.”

He hummed around Mack’s cock, only causing it to dribble more precome. Will’s head game was kind of out of this world, Mack had come to find out.

Usually, he took his time. He’d lick and suck and spit, and Mack would be whining through his orgasm after at least fifteen minutes of teasing. Never less.

Now, he was a man on a mission. Mack’s cock was bumping against the roof of his mouth, and Will had it so far down his throat that his nose was brushing over the light smattering of hair near his cock.

It was incredibly overwhelming. He pulled off for a minute, only to look up at Mack and breathe, “Come in my mouth.”

Then he got back to work, and Mack didn’t last much longer after that. He didn’t even manage to get a warning out before he was gasping out his release, straight down Will’s throat.

Will snorted, wiping his mouth, “That was quick.”

“Fuck you.” He panted, head tipped back against the head rest. Mack was sure his face was all blotchy, the way he knew it got post orgasm.

“Don’t be greedy.” Will patted his cheek. He opened the window closest to him, and the fresh air that filled the car was very sobering. The fogginess of the windows quickly cleared, all evidence of their activities disappearing after only a couple seconds.

The cold air helped Mack’s breathing slow, and he found himself looking over at Will. Unsurprisingly, Will was already looking at him.

“Y’know, no one’s ever blown me in a car.” He giggled. “I’ve only had mediocre sex in their shitty backseats.”

Will groaned, “You made your hookups drive you to have sex in a parking lot? Macklin.”

“What? It’s not like I could bring them back to my dorm.”

“Dude, that’s like, shameless. They all need to up their standards. Desperately.” He laughed, eyes wide in what Mack hoped was fake outrage.

Mack blinked at him, “You just blew me in an Olive Garden parking lot.”

“Yeah. Are you my hookup, Mack?” He raised an eyebrow, voice low. “And, this is a Mercedes.”

Mack giggled, “Are you saying that car blowies are a boyfriend privilege?”

“Yes.” Will shrugged, smiling to himself. “That’s exactly what I’m saying.”

It felt a little silly to ask, because obviously the answer was yes, but Mack still asked, “Do you want a car blowie?”

“Mack, sweetheart, I am starving.” He sighed, patting him on the thigh. “How about I fuck you later instead, yeah?”

He swallowed, nodding slowly, “Yes. At your place.”

“Well, duh. Unless you wanna give Connor a show?” Will grinned, laughing when Mack wrinkled his nose.

Mack shook his head, “I actually don’t think he’d like that, and that says a lot.”

“Hm, he should. We’re hot as fuck.” Will hummed. “Okay, put your dick away. I’m literally gonna starve to death in here.”

“Way to romance a guy.” Mack snorted, tucking himself back into his underwear, and wiggling back into his jeans. “You gonna make me open my own door, too?”

It was meant as a joke, but Will’s eyes lit up, and he was out of the car and by Mack’s door in record time. He made a show out of opening it for him, making Mack giggle. It broke the last bit of tension he had in him, and he let Will drag him inside by the hand.

Mack had obviously been to Olive Garden before.

Obviously

He’d never been to Olive Garden with Will, or any other sexual prospect, though. It took him a minute to figure his breathing out, and by then Will had already ordered for them.

He hooked his ankle around Will’s, in an attempt to reassure him that he did want to be there. Will shot him a smile, and happily launched into a story about one of his failed birthday dinners. It made for a nice distraction, and by the time the waitress was putting their plates down in front of them, Mack had mostly settled.

“Right, and then–“ He mumbled, mid bite. “He decided I only get them on weeks I stay celibate.”

“Abstinent.” Will corrected. “So what, no more stars now that we’re together?”

Mack shook his head, “Stuff like this gets me stars now.” He motioned between them, making Will laugh.

“So what you’re saying is that you’re only dating me to get stickers from your roommate?” He raised an eyebrow, fork halfway to his mouth.

“You caught me.” Mack gasped, a hand on his chest. “That’s the only reason.”

Will hummed, “Mhm, I knew you had an ulterior motive. I’d get you nicer stickers than that, though.”

“Yeah?” Mack tilted his head, eyes eager.

“Of course. Only the best.” He grinned. “I don’t think I could halfass anything about you, Mack.”

Mack’s cheeks went hot, and he found himself staring down at his half finished plate of pasta, “Do you want to meet my brother?” His face went even hotter, and he cursed to himself, “Sorry, I–“

“Yeah, for sure.” Will laughed, kicking at him. “I’d love to meet your brother.”

“Yeah?” Mack breathed. “Really?”

“Is that surprising?” He blinked at him, taking another bite.

Mack scratched his neck, “Not really, I guess. More surprised that I said it.”

“We don’t have to, if you’re not ready yet. There’s no rush.” Will murmured, kicking at his shoe more gently now.

“No, I want to. My parents, too. I told them about us and they’d–“

The rest was muffled against Will’s lips.

He let himself melt into the kiss, willing his nerves away. He’d kissed Will a ridiculous amount of times by now, it didn’t make sense to panic over this specific one. Even if they were in public.

“Sorry.” Will breathed, the second he pulled back. “I didn’t mean to, you’re just so–“ He cut himself off with a groan, looking adorably frustrated.

Mack bit his lip, considering his next move. Then, in a move he’d never ever expected himself to pull, he leaned forward, and pressed a quick kiss to Will’s lips.

He sat back in his chair so fast that he startled both himself and Will, and their wide eyes met across the table.

It was Will who broke first, bursting out in laughter with a hand covering his mouth. His giggles were as infectious as always, and Mack found himself laughing along with him. Embarrassment colored his cheeks, and he couldn’t help but to hide in his hands. The mortified groan he let out had Will’s laughter dying out. Mack already missed the sound of it.

“That was very cute.” He murmured, eyes soft.

“I, uh–“ Mack shifted in his seat. “I wouldn’t mind if you did that again.”

Will all but cooed at him, grinning, “Yeah?”

“Yeah.” Mack sighed, defeated.

“You really told your parents?” He breathed, his eyes practically sparkling.

Mack laughed, “Yeah, they didn’t believe me at first. I had to get Aiden and Connor on FaceTime to promise I wasn’t lying.”

A little quiet, Will asked, “Really?”

“You don’t get what a big deal this is, my mom had given up on watching me get married.” Mack huffed, an easy smile on his lips.

Will’s expression changed in an instant, and it only took a moment until Mack realized what he’d said.

“Oh, uh, not like we–I didn’t mean it like that! I just–“ He groaned, dunking his forehead against the tabletop. “Sorry.”

“You’re very forward for someone so scared of commitment, do you know that?” Will said, and Mack was relieved to hear the amusement in his voice.

“I didn’t mean to say that.” He muttered, looking up when Will kicked him.

“I know, don’t worry. I’ll keep the ring hidden for a little longer.”

Mack made a face at him, “You’re not funny.”

“Who says I’m joking?” Will grinned, twirling pasta around his fork.

“Well, my mom would certainly like that.” Mack shifted in his seat, willing his shoulders to relax. It wasn’t as if he actually thought Will had a ring, but it still made something in him squirm.

“Your parents must be cool, considering they made you.” He hummed. “Are you close?”

Mack nodded, “Yeah, I think so. Aiden likes to make fun of me for it, but he’s just as bad. We don’t talk as much as you and your parents, though.”

He’d gotten a few too many chances to overhear Will’s conversations with his parents, all of them coming at increasingly inconvenient moments.

It was sweet, though. Will clearly valued the whole family thing, and while Mack didn’t experience it to the same degree, he could still relate.

“So I can tell my parents, too?” He tilted his head.

“Yeah, of course. I wouldn’t have minded that even if I didn’t tell mine. I’m not like, embarrassed.” Mack sure felt embarrassed now, though.

“It’s okay if you need a moment. Doesn’t mean you’re embarrassed.” Will shrugged, seemingly unbothered.

“I don’t need a moment.” Mack muttered. It came out a bit more defensive than he expected, but Will didn’t blink.

He smiled, a little amused, “Okay. Then I'd love to meet your family, Mack.”

“Yeah.” He breathed, nodding to himself. “We can do that.”

Will steered the conversation away from any serious topics after that, probably sensing that Mack was done for tonight. He was grateful for it, and happily listened to Will complain over one of his group projects.

The waitress came by a while later, and Will didn’t miss a beat when she asked if they wanted dessert. Mack knew better than to argue, and he was kind of craving their lava cake anyway.

Will ended up with chocolate smeared on his cheek, which had Mack biting back laughter all the way back to the car.

Once inside, he grabbed Will by the collar, pulling him close, “Do you have any idea of how badly I want to kiss you right now?”

“Hm, I think I can guess.” Will giggled, tilting his head slightly.

Mack’s eyes dropped to his lips, “Yeah?”

Will nodded slowly, “Uh-huh. You gonna do it?”

“You’ve got something on your cheek.” He whispered, letting out a laugh as Will pulled back to inspect himself in the rear view mirror.

“Oh my God, why didn’t you say anything?” He whined. “That’s so embarrassing.”

“I would’ve licked it off if I could.” Mack shrugged, beaming even as Will glared at him.

“Now you’re not getting a kiss.” Will turned the car on, clicking his seatbelt in place.

The purr of the engine was sort of turning Mack on, but he shook it off in favor of complaining, “I didn’t even do anything, it’s not my fault you eat like a five year old.”

“Mhm, sure.” Will sounded unimpressed, making Mack groan even louder.

“You’re still gonna fuck me, right?” He pouted. “I got myself all ready for you.”

Over the past couple weeks, Mack had quickly learnt just how to pitch his voice in order to get his way. By now, he had perfected it. Will didn’t stand a chance.

Will glanced at him, “Duh.”

“Mh, good. I’ve been thinking about it forever.” He grinned, anticipation creeping up his spine.

“I fucked you yesterday.” Will snorted, eying him as if he was the weird one.

Mack nodded slowly, “Yeah, that’s the problem.”

“You’re actually ridiculous. Don’t you get sore?” He laughed, turning to Mack as he stopped at a red light.

“Nah, you’re too sweet with me. All gentle and shit.”

Normally, Mack would’ve cringed at the tone of his own voice. He couldn’t really find it in him to care about if Will got to hear him sound all lovesick now, though.

Will smiled, “You like it when I go all soft, don’t pretend like you don’t.”

Mack swallowed his pride.

“Yeah. I do.”

Maybe that’s what ended up getting Will so wound up, or maybe it was just the whole night in general, because Mack found himself face down in Will’s sheets mere minutes after they got home.

Mack could get plenty frantic himself, but feeling Will desperately fumbling his clothes off was a rush unlike anything else. He let Will flip him over onto his back, and dutifully lifted his hips when prompted.

“Fuck, you look so good.” Will breathed against his lips, kissing the reply off his lips.

He squirmed a little, managing to get one of Will’s thighs between his own. In a move that was far from subtle, he rolled his hips up against it, shuddering as he finally got some friction against his dick.

Will grinned into the kiss, “Want it?”

“Mhm, so bad. Feels like forever ago.” Mack panted. It was only slightly embarrassing to admit that he’d been craving Will’s cock since the second he last pulled out of him.

“Y’know I like to prep you.” Will mumbled, shoving two fingers inside of him. The lube he’d used to finger himself open in the shower had gone tacky, not providing the frictionless slide that he preferred.

Will tsked, turning to look through his nightstand, “I need to get more of this.”

Mack glanced over, seeing Will’s fancy bottle of lube almost completely empty. He wrinkled his nose, laughing, “We don’t fuck that much, how often are you jerking yourself off?”

“Like, twice.” He snorted, squirting some lube into his palm.

“Twice a day?” Mack gaped. “Even now?”

“God, no. Like, twice since we started.” Will laughed, breaking off into a quiet little groan as he stroked himself. “We fuck a lot, Mack.”

“Oh.”

Mack hadn’t really felt the need to jerk off that much either, lately. Hearing Will say it felt oddly reassuring, and he found himself blushing.

“Do you need–?” Will nodded downwards.

Mack shook his head, “Fuck, just put it in already.”

Will hummed, and with a steadying hand on his hip, that was slick with lube, he pushed inside. The first stretch was always a little breathtaking, in a good way.

It made him feel human, which he’d come to realize was a good thing. The stretch was grounding, like jumping in a cold lake or punching a wall.

Will bottomed out with a quiet moan, holding his hips tight. Will wasn’t that loud in bed, but he always made some noise when he first slipped inside of him.

Mack always made sure to listen extra closely, then.

He squeezed down around him, giving himself a moment to adjust. Will was big, and while Mack had definitely gotten better at taking all of it, it still knocked the breath out of him sometimes.

“You feel so good, sweetheart.” Will breathed, running his hands up and down his sides gently. It tickled a bit.

“Mhm, need a minute.” He sighed, letting his eyes slip shut. “Feels bigger today.”

Will hummed sympathetically, “I was rough yesterday, hm?”

“Yeah. More lube next time.” Mack mumbled. “It was good, though. Took me a while to come back.”

That was also a new thing. The whole out-of-body orgasms always had him a little out of it by the time they finished. It wasn’t as if he fell asleep, but something close to it.

He enjoyed it, and the way Will would baby him afterwards felt pretty good too.

“Mhm, I like it when you get all sweet for me.” He murmured, shifting his hips a little. “Feel okay?”

Mack nodded, blinking his eyes open, “You can move, just go slow.”

Will brushed over the bruises on his hips, humming softly. He slotted their lips together again, and Mack couldn’t help the gasp that left him as Will thrust into him.

He kept the rhythm painfully slow, never detaching his lips from Mack’s. His thrusts weren’t even really thrusts, just rolls of his hips. Still, Mack was breathing heavily, his cock achingly hard between them.

Will was big enough to consistently nudge his prostate, even with the lack of any real movement. Mack raked his nails across his shoulder blades, “You’re so fucking deep, shit.”

“Want a break?” Will panted against his throat.

Mack’s reply was a bit delayed, “Wanna come.”

Will groaned against his skin, scraping his teeth across the mark he’d sucked into his skin. It made Mack arch up, increasing the friction on his cock.

He could feel tears spring to his eyes, for a reason he didn’t know. He squeezed them shut, and urged Will on with his hips.

“Like this, or on your stomach?” Will murmured, cupping his cheek. It forced Mack to look him in the eyes, which suddenly felt incredibly intimate.

His voice wasn’t more than a whisper when he replied, all breath, “Like this, please.”

Will hummed, pleased. The new energy he put into his thrusts had Mack gasping, and Will took the opportunity to mouth at his jawline.

“You’re so sweet, baby. Just for me, yeah?” His words went straight to Mack’s cock, and he scrambled to get a hand around himself. Will huffed, a sharp grin on his lips, “Needy.”

“Harder.” He moaned. “Please, I need it harder.”

He obliged, and everything got a little blurry after that. Mack came over his own fist, with a tiny little gasp that he couldn’t believe came out of his mouth.

Will lost the smooth rhythm he’d built up a few thrusts later, his hips stuttering against the back of Mack’s thighs.

To Mack’s disappointment, he pulled out, coming across Mack’s stomach and adding to the mess on his abs.

The punched out groan Will let out as he flopped back against the mattress had Mack giggling, an easy smile on his face.

“You rock my world, baby.” Will panted, grinning up at the ceiling. “Fuckin’ fantastic.”

Mack laughed, swatting at him, “You’re so corny.”

“I’m in love.” He corrected, turning to look at Mack.

The look in his eyes, and his words, should’ve been enough to scare him off, but Mack merely bit his lip, and grinned back at him.

He rolled his eyes, uncaring of how embarrassingly lovesick he must’ve looked, “Yeah, you’re not alone  there.”

“Yeah?” Will whispered, his eyes so blue.

“Yeah.” He smiled. “Maybe hold off on the ring, though.”

Will’s answering laugh was bright enough to have him laughing alongside him, his heart beating fast enough to burst.

Mack did not graduate college with a ring on his finger, but it was a near thing. Instead, he settled for a drivers license, an off campus apartment, a golden retriever, and an almost fiancé by his side.

Who could’ve thought?
