Even at their worst, even in the darkest moments of their childhood, if Izuku truly needed someone to run to, Katsuki would be there. He always had been. Even at the height of Katsuki’s bullying, he’d been that constant assurance Izuku needed.

OR: Izuku gets a horrible surprise over spring break. It nearly destroys him. Katsuki was always there to save him, and when Izuku calls for help, he comes running like always.

Summary
“This is going to break these damn extras.” Izuku sighed, but before he could start his argument, Katsuki went on. “They will never be able to go back to their regular innocent lives, we are going to devastate them, Izuku.”
“I know!” He tried hard not to shout, but the words just forced their way out. “I know.” He repeated, calmer. “But we have to do this. We have to. They have spent their whole lives cushioned and coddled by the good side of quirk society.”
Katsuki’s jaw was so tight, Izuku swore his teeth must be aching from the force of it. When he spoke, he did so through his teeth with pain clear on his features.
“You get it, don’t you; what you’re asking me to do? Izuku I-...you’re asking me to hurt you again. You’re asking me to be your abuser, again.”

OR: My take on 'Compassion Week' - where the hero students have to do presentations on why a villain might become a villain. Izuku and Katsuki decide to pick Quirklessness, and their presentation is...enlightening.

Summary
After a failed suicide attempt, years of bullying, and his mother's death, Izuku Midoriya doesn't think he has any option besides joining the League of Villains. After all, foster care is no place for a quirkless kid like him. Plus, working as a hacker and analyst for the League doesn't sound like it would be too bad. But, after meeting a hurt little girl in Overhaul's headquarters, Toga and Izuku can't just sit back and take orders from Shigaraki anymore. With some careful consideration, Izuku figures a villain reformation program at UA doesn't sound horrible, even if it means having to put up with Bakugou.

When Shouta walks into the teacher’s lounge with a smile on his face, he nearly sends the room into a panic. Nemuri shrieks, hiding behind her lesson plans, and he’s pretty sure he sees Snipe start a silent prayer.
“What happened this time?” Yamada says, already reaching up to cover his eyes, as if that could hide him from the horror that is this part of the school year.
“We forgot something,” Nemuri hisses, already flipping open her yearly schedule. “What did we…”
Her mouth drops open. It is quite a wonder she forgot this, the biggest event of Shouta’s hero course. It’s technically an event with 1-B too, but Vlad King doesn’t take it as far as Shouta does. Coward.
“Aizawa,” Nemuri says, pained, looking up to meet his eyes. “Not again. Last year was chaos, I can’t do this again.”Or: class 1-A plays a game of capture the flag disguised as heroics training

Summary
The brighter the light, the darker the shadows. And in a super-powered society, those shadows are dark indeed. But whilst the world desperately trained more and more heroes, making that light brighter and brighter, the prestigious hero school, UA, had another idea. Why not tackle the problem at its source?
And so was born the infamous class 1-A. Would-be criminals from all over the country were selected, and a group of twenty now roam the halls of the school, alongside the heroes of the next generation.
Last year, the entirety of Mr Aizawa’s class A graduated. But this year was different. No, he didn’t believe they would all graduate back into society like the classes before them. He believed they could become something bigger. That was why, with gritted teeth and a manic smile, Eraser Head turned to his new class of students and said:
"You aren't villains - you never were, and you never will be. But you can take that fire inside of you and put it to good use. We're in a hero school, aren't we? Well then...
"Let's be heroes."
