Summary
In 2005, Rey Johnson has it all - she recently graduated from college, has a well-paying engineering job, and just bought a townhouse in Chandrila, VA, where she attended high school. She certainly didn't move back there to see how former best friend and maybe-something-more Ben Solo is doing. Not after he betrayed her.
However, when she sees Leia's ad in the paper listing his old Ford Falcon for sale, Rey jumps at the chance to own such a classic car (no other reason, obviously). Once she buys it, she finds that Ben left behind his treasure trove of mixtapes...including one she's never seen before labeled "For Rey".
It's a mid-90s/mid-2000s AU, filled with flannel, grunge, AOL Instant Messenger, Ben Solo's A+ decision making, and Rey's flawless processing of emotions.
