Suddenly a new voice, gruffer, deeper, says, “What are you doing?” and Tim goes cold all over. That’s Bruce. That’s Bruce speaking a full sentence for the first time today and of course it’s when Tim is hurling his guts out in the bathroom and didn’t want him to know about it.

“Picking the lock,” Jason says, like it’s obvious. “Didn’t think you’d appreciate me breaking the door down. I can, if you want. I am absolutely fine with that option actually.”

One minute he was in his mother's basement in 1973, panicking over the fact that he had broken his terrorist father out of the pentagon and allowed him to attempt to assassinate the president, and the next he was in the middle of a field in 2023, thrown into the middle of a world reeling from the sudden reappearance of half of their population.

Summary
Murdoc and Mac have more in common then (well, Mac) would like to admit to. Mac feels something when he’s with Murdoc. Something he won’t touch due to a case of denial, and analyzing his complex emotions for a world-renowned assassin isn't something he wants to run by the Phoenix department therapist.
When Murdoc starts communicating with Mac after his escape with Cassian after the events of (S2E15 Murdoc+Handcuffs), Mac decides to keep the correspondence to himself instead of reporting it to Phoenix. This shall be interesting.
