He's a little less used to dealing with being kidnapped from his own office.
At least the kidnapper is both cute and extremely bad at villainy.

By that point, without a shadow of a doubt, Izuku knew that Aizawa-sensei was just like his other teachers.
Yet, seeing Kacchan attempt to use his quirk on Izuku without getting punished, Izuku realized that he had too high hopes. He didn't leave with a feeling of happiness or relief. He left with a feeling of resignation for what's to come, knowing there was nothing he could do about it.
U.A. was supposed to be different. It was supposed to be a fresh start. That didn’t matter to Izuku. He was too far to give up now.
Or, Class 1-A's various thoughts and feelings about their homeroom teacher and what they do about it.

Todoroki Touya never wanted to be a hero.

It's not All Might who saves Izuku from the slime villain, but rather a certain cotton tailed heroine. She has a much different approach then the #1, and decides that the trembling beanstalk of a kid has enough guts to go pro. Ft. Confident! Izuku, Parental! Mirko, and enough sass to make my eyes bleed.
