    omg i got this comment right before bed and I literally screeched. You're amazing.

    I am so touched you like my descriptors, especially given how hard they are for me😂 thanks so much for calling them out.

    And YES the cycle of coldness and distance between the Unseelie Kings is so hard to watch, especially knowing how much Arthur clearly loves his son, and wants him to be happy, but there's too much at stake. He's as trapped as Warlock is.

    I'm so glad you liked the relationship between the Fae and Humans here. I totally made it up😂. I mean, I wanted it to be a little bit good omens and a little bit fae but also its own thing? I think I struck a decent balance.

    The faith line was something I really liked as well, I'm so glad you noticed!

    And yes, grab your popcorn. This is a double enemies to lovers story, and I am having just as much fun with Warlock and Adam as Aziraphale and Crowley. Maybe it's just because it's more original? I don't know. But I am enjoying myself immensely.

    And phones are weapons! Especially when you're trying to stay unseen.

    And the relationships between both princes and their champions is very sweet. I'm old, I have kids, loving mentor/mentee relationships destroy me.

    This is the longest chapter by far because it does some serious WORK. Showing the two courts, the two kings, the two princes and champions, how different they are, who they are in this reverse world. it was a lot. I'm glad it all came through.

    Thaddeus is a piece of shit. I can write so many characters different ways, I can even make Satan, who remains entirely a villain, a somewhat relatable character that people care about (or so I am told in the Last Angel) but Thaddeus Dowling will likely always be a villain in these stories to me. A careless, narcissistic parent is where I draw the line.

    I had fun with creating the magic here. I don't know much about fae stories, and I am sure some people will scrunch their nose at my take, but I do love making my own rules😂 Agreements and bonds and promises are all so important in all versions of fae, so it was fun to show promises in physical ways.
