On a more serious note, really good first chapter! Just the fact that his checkpoint isn’t in cell #3736 makes this stand out compared to the other Re:forgotten. Satella would never set a checkpoint that cruel and hopeless.
The cast will be SO confused once they remember Subaru and they realize he hates them for (in their perspective) no reason. That confrontation sounds juicy.
Subaru remembering Satella’s words is beautiful. He’s incredible for wanting to save everyone, but that’s not his duty, it’s a choice, and now he chooses to live for himself.
Satella/Subaru tag? Absolute cinema, can’t wait!
Also, the GOAT fire spirit coming into play? The World better watch out, the REAL great spirit of fire will be making it’s appearance and will demonstrate what a GOAT looks like, unlike that fraud of a cat.
