Comment on Worth Spilling Blood For

  1. Full disclosure: I've been a loyal reader of your fic from the start. However, I've been so engrossed in the narrative that I didn't even know how to engage with it. Every time I went to write a comment, I could hardly get my thoughts together... And then, ashamed, I kept putting it off...

    But the more I read, the more I feel compelled to show my appreciation for this incredible story. So, I've decided to go through and comment on a few of my favorite chapters and moments, because this story has made me feel a very a complex range of emotions!

    To be honest, the moment I read this first chapter, I knew I had stumbled upon something special. Your writing is so evocative without being gaudy or bloated. You reveal enough about Viktor's past and his traumas, to keep readers curious, but not so much that the story is already told before you begin. Plust the way you described the desperate fight between Jayce and Viktor was effortless but frantic. Most fight scenes suffer from a robotic stiffness, where one person acts and another person reacts, just back-and-forth. But your description of the fight has an innate sense movement, that is hard to accomplish with words.

    As a fellow writer, I was impressed by your writing style. And as a reader, I remember hoping that every chapter would be as incredible as the first.

    You definitely didn't disappoint. I keep reading every week and keep getting more and more drawn in...

    This is definitely one of the best stories I have ever read. An instant classic ❤️

    1. Oh my god you are going to make me cry first thing in the morning ;u;

      This is so sweet and I am beyond fucking moved that I hooked you so immediately and thoroughly (also I am relieved to hear that I pulled the fight scene off cuz fight scenes are in my Top 3 Most Revised Type of Scenes list asdfjkl) And that you loved this enough to keep coming back honestly means so much - esp with the chapter count getting up there lmao

      It's melting my heart a little bit (a lot) to be described as a classic and I don't know if words can convey how much that means, but thank you so much for your wonderful comment because this has made my day <3 <3 <3
